It has been quite an ordeal that I have come through with having a cracked tooth under a crown that I ended up with sepsis and a wisdom tooth that three other oral surgeons would not extract because the root was wrapped around my facial nerve.Dr. Coletti and his ability to not only extract the wisdom tooth without nerve damage but also the care of making sure he was able to ensure the health of my jaw and mouth stayed in tact. To prospective patients: make sure to ask lots of questions about your insurance policy and which procedures will/wont be covered BEFORE you get to your appointment because this office will not volunteer any information. I was clear I was making the appointment for bruxism issues, and their office staff did not mention that bruxism isnt covered under dental plans, so I was forced to pay the full $165 consultation fee out of pocket at the end of my appointment. This is a dishonest practice to try and squeeze more money out of patients who do not know the intricacies of which parts of the mouth/jaw are covered under their dental plans and wont know that the office refuses to accept major medical insurance plans. The office staff however knew full well my visit would not be covered and said nothing, and thats really shameful. My experience in the actual appointment with Dr. Coletti was positive; he took time to explain to me that there really are no solutions doctors can offer for bruxism.

Dr. Colletti and staff (Sam, Candice, and Amanda) are so comforting. They do such a great job and truly make you feel like you are safe and at home. Genuinely appreciate the extra mile they go to keep their patients comfortable!!!! Thank you for all that you do!!!

Dr. Nessif, in my opinion, is the best of the best. He is definitely at the top of his game and anyone would be hard pressed to find someone better. You would have a difficult time just finding someone with the same level of competence. Why believe me? I am both a doctor and an entrepreneur. I am excellent in both fields. I can tell when someone knows their stuff. I can tell when someone knows how to run a business. He does both at an A+ 5 star level, all while trying to accommodate the needs of his patients.To sum it all up- exceptional oral surgeon, well run office, modern next generation equipment, phenomenal office staff. Awesome experience from start to finish! Dr. Coletti was running just a few minutes late and his staff advised me of that. The office was spotless and his staff was great. Dr. Coletti was amazing. Kind, compassionate, gentle and very thorough. He explained everything that he was going to do before he did it and checked how I was doing throughout the procedure. As an added bonus, I barely felt the novacaine injection that he gave me. Lastly, as a patient without dental insurance I felt that his fees were very reasonable. I highly recommend Dr. Coletti and his staff.

I saw Dr. Nessif for a second opinion on dental work that was estimated to be $12,000. There was no waiting time at all, he was compassionate, and professional. He examined my teeth and was quite clear I needed absolutely NONE of the recommended procedures! He saved us so much money and gave a personal recommendation for a new dentist in the area. Even more than that, we realized how critical it is to get a second opinion from a very seasoned professional.I highly recommend this practice if you need oral surgery.Thank you so much to the entire staff!

Avoid him at all cost. He was absolutely horrible with my grandson. I do not recommend this Dr to anybody. He took out all of my grandson wisdom teeth. The work seemed OK at first. After couple days my grandson developed complications and Dr Coletti was horrible with him. His language and attitude were terrible. He told my grandson, who has a very high tolerance for pain and never complains about anything, to man up and take it. His attitude and his approach to fixing this complication, which was his fault in the first place, are unforgivable.

I went in for an extraction. The whole staff from front desk to the doctor were super polite and professional. They numbed me so well that I felt no pain or discomfort. They did not have to put me to sleep. They also took the time to explain the after care procedures, both after the extraction and during my follow up visit. This is an office and doctor that show they care and they waste no time. Great experience.

I went to Dr. Coletti because I had to have a tooth extracted. I was apprehensive but before I knew it the tooth was out. I barely felt anything. My follow-up visits over the next 10 days went fine as well. One visit was even done at no charge to me or my insurance. I recommend Dr. Colleti wholeheartedly. I first went to Dr. Nessif in November for a front tooth implant. My dentist recommended him, and his office was able to squeeze me in the next morning. I have had only great experiences dealing with everyone in his office, and have actually enjoyed the experience just because of the people.

When I arrived to this office, I was in bad shape. I’m nit saying I wanted to have my tooth extracted, but if I had to, this is absolutely the place to go. Dr. Coletti and his staff treated me like family - and in an age where medical care reduces you to another number, it was so wonderful to receive such gentle care.

The procedure was pain free and Dr. Nessif created a sense of calm all the way through. Yes, I had a little pain the next day but it was minimal. It’s been 4 days since my wisdom teeth removal and beside the usual pain expected after surgery, the staff was wonderful, the procedure didn’t take long, there were no complications, and I healed fairly quickly. Dr. Coletti did amazing!

My experience with Dr. Nessif and his entire office staff has nothing but positive. The office staff are friendly, professional and efficient. My mom recently fell and broke many bones in her face, leaving me to find a maxillofacial surgeon. After looking at the reviews online I called central Maryland oral and maxillofacial surgery. My mom was afraid and I need someone kind, and as soon as I called I knew this was the right place. Ashley who answered the phone was wonderful the Dr. was in surgery but she told me she would talk to him as soon as possible and call me back by noon( it was 9:30) . I dont know how many times a doctors office has said that to me and you still dont hear back from them but by 10:15 Ashley called me back and set me up an appointment for the next day. When arriving the whole staff was so incredibly nice , that my mom who was terrified actually relaxed and had a great experience. I recommend if you need oral or maxillofacial surgery look no further than here and get the best care from an exceptional team.

As far as surgeries go, I had an amazing experience! Dr. Nessif is extremely knowledgeable in his field and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, before, during, and after the surgery. He made sure all of my questions were answered and that I was well taken care of. He was always available and attentive, especially after the surgery, if I had a question or concern. I was truly impressed by both him and his staff (Sam especially). I was pretty freaked out at the idea of having surgery, but now, if I had 4 more wisdom teeth, I would voluntarily give them to Dr. Nessif. I had zero swelling, zero bruising, and very minimal pain, even with only using ibuprofen. A week later I am feeling great and ready to eat lots of solid foods. He said my mouth looks great and the surgery was a complete success and I agree. Thank you Dr. Nessif and Team!!! I appreciate all your hard work and dedication :)

Best dental experience I have ever had !!! I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Central Maryland Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and especially Dr Coletti ! I have Dentophobia, an extreme fear of dentists, but when I had to have teeth extracted, Dr Coletti and his staff made me feel at ease and it was the best dentist experience I have had in my 65 years. The worse pain I felt was the novocaine pinch. Nothing more ! If I would have had a dental experience when I was younger, I might not have been so terrified to go to a dentist ! The staff was great ! They helped me feel at ease from the moment I walked in. Very friendly and courteous, but professional and got the job done. Dr Coletti explained any questions I had so I could understand and we discussed options beforehand rather than telling me what he was going to do. I highly recommend Dr Coletti for any dental procedures that you might need. Its too bad there are only 5 stars. I went in with a bad tooth that had been hurting for a long time that my regular doctor said was too hard for him to remove. I dealt with Ashley for the pre-removal parts, and Dr. Coletti for the removal. Everything was ready when I got there. A couple of pain shots & Dr. Coletti went to work, saying what to expect as he was working. He didnt say it would be the best dental experience Ive ever had, but he should have. It was a rotted tooth with 2 hooks on the roots.10 minutes later it was gone, and absolutely no pain, even the next day.If I ever have to have something done again, it will be here. Ive already referred him to a good friend.Thanks to Ashley, Dr. Coletti, and the other staff members that make it as pleasant an experience as they could.Greg Holdridge

I contacted Dr. Coletti for a 2nd opinion on a front tooth implant.Thank God I did!After a thorough consultation by Dr. Coletti, he determined that I had a cyst in the roof of my mouth that needed to be immediately removed. If the cyst had remained in my mouth, an implant post would have fallen out in a few months. This means thousands of dollars would have been lost and a year worth of suffering would have been for nothing.Dr. Coletti and staff have gotten me on the right track to regaining my normal smile. His assistants-Page, Ashley in the back and Ashley in the front are experts in their craft. They have treated me with the utmost respect and are extremely knowledgeable. From the numerous times that I have visited the office, I have determined that Dr. Coletti is matched by no other. If you would like to have an implant placed and you want the BEST in the field, Central MD is the place to go.

This week I had an emergency visit with Dr Colleti. My dentist, Dr Hiers, looked at a sore tooth and right away called Dr Colleti to consult. Dr Colleti let me come right over and fit me in on a very busy day with only a short wait. He diagnosed a failed implant. Since I am disabled and have difficulty coming to the office for extra visits he offered to remove the implant right then.Dr Colleti explained everything clearly, imaged my teeth so there would be no surprises, and pulled out the implant. My pain was well controlled with injections. Bleeding was minimal. Dr Colleti and the staff were polite, helpful with my disability, and went above the call of duty at this visit. Thank you Dr Colleti and staff. I will be coming back. I strongly recommend this office.
