Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Sabrina and Dr. Snead are the best. They genuinely care for their patients and make you feel like family. I was so glad to know that Dr. Snead was back in Columbia. I would not go anywhere else.

I have been to around 6 different doctors moving to Nashville and I will make the drive every time to make sure and come back to Dr. Snead. He obviously cares and is WAY more detailed than anyone else I’ve ever been to. From someone with a difficult script, not sure what I will do if he retires. 100% the best hands down. Also want to add, Sabrina is the sweetest receptionist in the world and gets your appt started in the best way and makes sure your script is ordered how you need it. Remembered me as soon as I walked in even after a couple years and she’s precious so also props to her!

Super nice people, they have a nice selection of frames to choose from and the prices for the exam and glasses were very reasonable.

Ive been calling for around a.month and leaving voice-mail to make an appointment. No one ever answers or returns my calls. Only 3 stars because my wife swears this is the best eye doctor around

I ordered glasses late December 2020... Now its mid-March 2021, still no glasses. I was told it would take between 6-8 weeks, which by itself is ridiculous, it its been over 2 months. I need my new glasses that I spent $100+ on... Its unsafe for me to drive with my current prescription.Ive tried getting ahold of them multiple times for an estimate on shipping, and they told me theyd get back to me after 24 hours since they had to contact the lab. Its been 4 days with no response. They wont answer their phone, either.At this point Im gonna order a pair from Zenni and call it a loss. Dont bother with Essential Eyes unless youre willing to wait an ungodly amount of time for new glasses.

Dr. Snead is just the best, and Miss Sabrina is so kind and knowlegable! They give excellent service and care. They have taken the time to kindly and patiently answer my questions and give very helpful insight in regard to adjusting to my new lenses. I am so glad I found Essential Eyes, and highly recommend them to everyone.

My parents and I have been coming to Dr. Snead & Miss Sabrina for years, and we love them! They’ve always helped us navigate the intricacies of insurance, and medically, they continually provide detailed updates during our eye exams while also giving us several options. Awesome service EVERY SINGLE TIME NO MATTER WHAT i cant express this enough my only suggestion is getting a bigger sunglass selection but thats because i like to order different ones all time 😀 but seriously i have no problem driving an hour for the type of service you receive when you go here

The receptionist/professional assistant Sabrina is very knowledgeable, personable & helpful. Dr Dan Snead is also very friendly, knowledgeable & committed to helping you achieve the best vision possible with understanding & consideration of your individual needs & preferences. I went back 2 or 3 times without any extra charge while trying to get the correct contact lens fitting for my unique situation!

My husband and I both love coming here to get our eye exams. They are so kind and take time to answer all questions. We have never had a problem with our prescriptions from them, unlike other places we’ve gone to in the past. We will never go anywhere else!!
