Dr. Martinez is super knowledgeable and thorough. My whole family has been to her for glasses and we are all very impressed.

My family has been going to Martinez eye Associates for a couple years now. The front desk staff are always friendly and accommodating, and the doctors are wonderful. I had an eye infection, and they fit me into their schedule right away, so I was able to start treatment immediately. The follow-up care was thorough, they take eye health seriously!

The staff and Dr. Were understaffed, the day I went. You wouldnt know it. They were very professional not in a rush. Explained throughout the visit. Making sure I understood asked if I had questions. Great experience.

I visited Martinez on 9/1/21. This was a few weeks after my daughter visited for an eye exam. She was so pleased with the care and patience she received from Dr. Gallo. I, too, received the same level of professional care.I was considering leaving prior to Dr. Gallo and the new staff coming on board. So, cudos to Dr. Gallo and the newly improved staff. 👍🏻

Dr. Gallo and her staff were incredibly thorough and friendly. They took time to explain my eye health fully. It was a great experience and I came away confident in my eye care choices. I will not be going anywhere else.

Love this place, I go here and I take my children here. The staff is friendly and very helpful, especially Morgan who is extremely knowledgeable and remembers you when you come in which makes you feel even more welcome. The doctors are patient and don’t mind answering questions, and they have given me the best and most accurate prescriptions of my life, I had no idea it was possible for me to see so well. I’ve been going here for about 4 years or so now and I’m so glad I found them. You will not regret going here for sure!

Madhu provided very helpful advice in choosing among available options for my glasses. She was also very concerned that the temporary air conditioning arrangements were affecting me, which they werent. My only regret was not being able to use a mailed coupon because it was at home 45 miles away. Since it was sent through my contact info, couldnt that be accessed through the same system at the time of purchase (as available at Vitamin Shoppe)?

I have mixed reviews......the optometrist is AMAZING! This is the first time I have had her and she worked very hard to find the correct lenses I need. She even told me she hesitated to give me bifocals and wanted to try the new prescription first. I would go back to her in a heartbeat!However, the girls that work the front desk need to learn some professionalism and math. I tried to call there 3 times to make an appointment and even left a message but never got a call back. To actually make an appointment I had to stop by.When I went back for the exam I was asked if I wanted the extras - one was a deeper look at the eye and the other was to check peripheral vision. I wanted the look deeper into the eye as I know my vision has gotten worse but I didnt feel I needed the peripheral vision test. They told me the price then said if I got both along with my $15 copay, the total would be $50. According to the separate prices they told me and the total price, it was a savings of $10 to get both tests. I even said to them, Oh, so it is a deal if I get them both. Yes, it is a good deal. So I got both tests.I went to pay and I was charged $60. I spoke up and was told I was quoted $50 (the girl ringing me up had also been in the room). She said the girl made a mistake and the actual cost was $60.Not impressed and I will not be going back as long as those girls are there. Hoping wither the optometrist or these girls find a new place.

The office is very clean and the small waiting area is set up for social distancing..I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for eye exams for glasses and/or contacts.

I had a very wonderful and rewarding experience during my appointment with Martinz Eye Associates (Eye Mart). The associates took their time and explain every little detail about the things I had questions about. They also explain the different types of eyeglass lenses and which one would benefit me the most, according to what the Optometrist referred. At the end of my visit, I was truly satisfied! EyeMart Express (Harbison), Columbia, SC is an awesome place to visit.

Im new here to Columbia South Carolina and before I came down here I looked at reviews of where I could go to have my eyes checked. I couldnt have made a better choice, the staff is so friendly and the eye doctor was very attentive and thorough and took her time to make sure I received the care that I needed. I had intended to submit a review after my appointment which was actually my very first appointment with this practice but it somehow escaped my memory. Heres my backstory, I was hopping from eye clinic to eye clinic because my former optometrist of over 15 years had moved out of state. Dr. B was the consummate professional, provided above standard examinations, valued patient care, but most importantly, he had a wonderful personality. After trying 5 different eye doctors over a five year span, I came across Dr. Mallory Troyers name and optimistically booked my appointment. From start to finish, my eye examination was one of most thorough on record since Dr. B and frankly, I was uncertain that another doctor would this meticulous but Dr. Troyer did not disappoint. I was involved in a car accident which caused some mild retina detachment, I never mention this issue during examinations because Im honestly holding back to see if the doctor diagnoses it. Guess what, Dr. Troyer immediately noticed it, asked tons of questions about the circumstances surrounding the detachment, and took it a step further, she referred me out to a specialist because she wanted to ensure the condition posed no threat to my vision. Dr. Troyer provided a thorough, diligent, and careful examination of my eyes without an ounce of haste. As a doctor, she took her time, asked questions, and didnt constantly look at a chart to remember my name plus she has a wonderful personality. In fact, all of the employees were so very kind and pleasant from the minute you enter the office. It was truly the best optometry visits experienced since losing my previous eye doctor and now, I can happily say that Dr. Troyer is my optometrist. Before leaving the building, I actually set my daughters appointment because I definitely felt comfortable with her being a patient of Dr. Troyer and Martinez Eye Associates. As my mother would say, You were only born with one pair of eyes so must take care of them! but this requires a great eye doctor which it why I highly recommend Dr. Troyer.

I was very impresses with the system they have put in place to handle COVID-19. At no time did I feel like there was a chance I would come in contact with the virus. The staff was constantly disinfecting surfaces that the public came in contact. Dr. Valerie Gallo gives the most comprehensive eye exam I have ever had. She will spend the time that is needed to get your vision as close to perfect as she can. Wonderful staff. Great service.

Everybody was very kind and sweet, they practiced cleanliness by going out of the way to sanitize between every customer. They were also fast and efficient in taking care of me and getting my order taken care of for glasses.

I love this place so much! Everyone that works here- from the receptionist to the doctor- is very courteous and friendly. They listen to your concerns and provide you with wonderful care. My experience was a pleasant one. I felt safe with the Covid-19 protocols they have in place. The doctor was thorough and spent time making sure I understood and answered all my questions. The doctor I had was so nice and made sure my contacts fit right. Even gave me a couple different ones to try on and kept measuring my eye to make sure it fit just right with my stigmatism. They will definitely have my business next year At my yearly check up.

I decided to try this eye doctor because I was unhappy with my last doctor and they have good ratings online. The reviews were accurate. The doctor took time to listen to my concerns with my old glasses and provide a prescription that worked well for reading computer screens all day. There hasnt been any difficulties adjusting to the new prescription. Thank you for fixing my glasses! My only suggestion would be to please consider a digital eye scan so eyes are not diluted and I can shop for new glasses easily after my appt.

I am a wheelchair cutie, and very hesitant about going to places in general. Every year, for the last 2 years, I’ve been in this wheelchair this has been the BEST experience! They are so friendly, willing to do whatever it takes to make me comfortable, the doctors are very knowledgeable, and let’s not forget they don’t see me as disabled but as a person that does things a little different! I will continue to come here as long as I possibly can because of my experience! I would suggest if you have a family member or even yourself, that has some challenges, bring them here! You won’t regret the decision! I just wish they had more handicap parking spots (only 2 in the parking lot) and the two spots aren’t wheelchair friendly. But I don’t let that stop me!

I think theyre a great eye service place! Not expensive with a good staff. Been going there for 2-3yrs. and I needed my contacts this year. One eye prescription didnt look right and they gladly checked and had to adjust! They worked until they got it right! No issues or extra expenses.

Victoria Gallo was super nice , made me feel comfortable and very professional.

I had problems with my prescription and frames from the begining. The prescription was incorrect and when they sent me for a re-check the doctor found that the magnification was to much. I had my glasses at home and they couldnt order my new prescription without them. After suffering for 6 months they couldnt make an exemption and order my glasses even though I did wait patiently. I had a good experience on my first visit but now I have reservations recommending it again.

Or should I say NOT manning the linesI got a voicemail saying my contacts are ready, I called you back, you place me on hold 8 1/2 mins, don’t come back to check on me, so I hang up. I call you back, you PICK UP AND HANG UP THE PHONE? I called you back 2 more times and the same thing happened. I don’t understand, and I need an explanation.

I got my eye exam yesterday at Martinez Eye Associates and actually was able to see the same eye doctor that examined my eyes eleven years ago and I was very happy about that, Dr.Daniels and he’s a very good doctor and takes his time to explain everything to you and you can relax because he is so knowledgeable in his work and I recommend him and Martinez Eyy Associates to anyone that needs to get their eyes examined. I didn’t have to wait long at all either. I definitely give them an A+ Everyone that works there are also very kind and helpful to their patients. I will continue to go there for my eye examination.
