It was a good experience if you can ever say that a trip to the Dentist is good. I feel relaxed when I go to The Art of Dentistry. The entire staff is courteous, knowledgeable and have great personalities.

Everyone is so nice!! The hygienist that cleaned my teeth was really great! Very informative, through, and gentle! The doctor was knowledgeable and very kind! I highly recommend!!

This is the best dentist Ive been to in the Columbia area. They do what is best for the patient, and the never sell you. They are highly skilled and thorough and listen to your concerns. Everyone on staff is very kind and goes the extra mile. I cant recommend this office enough.

We recently moved and I needed a new local dentist and I chose a great one. On my first visit they made me feel very welcome and the office was beautiful. My husband is fearful of going to the dentist. So, when I saw the art of dentistry had sedation dentistry, I made an appointment for myself. I was the “scouting expedition”. When walk in, the decor is peaceful and very tasteful. The staff seems dedicated to their patients. They offer several options for payment. I was pleasantly surprised. Get your teeth back into good condition here - and feel good about it having it done

This was my first visit and I was very Impressed! The Staff was extremely nice/personable from the time I walked in the door until the time I left. Dr. Fann was great! I felt right at home and everyone was so kind. They listened to my concerns and offered advice/suggestions on treatment with no hesitation. I Highly recommend The Art of Dentistry!

I love how they treat you like family and listen to you and your concerns. From the front desk to the techs, I feel comfortable in the end result of my teeth being clean and healthy and my account being managed. I have recently lost my benefits so they helped me to get set up on their Loyalty Plan allowing me to pay a one-time amount to get two cleaning and x-rays for the year and they didnt pressure me to sign up until I could afford the cost. It is always on my time.

I enjoyed my first visit. I like the way the office looks, clean and modern. Staff very friendly. No pushing of fluoride products and they didn’t question me at all when I said please put a note in my file, no fluoride. Very gentle, friendly and nice. Looking forward to my regular cleanings.

I actually look forward to my routine visits to Dr Fann and staff. I never have to wait. I always feel like I am treated like a friend. Look into their loyalty program. I don’t have insurance and they make visits affordable. Thank you all so much 🙏

BEWARE! Will give a great first impression. I had thousands of $ spent on major work under sedation. 3 years later now and 2 fillings have come out within a week. Plus he didnt even fix one of the teeth he was supposed to. Very friendly but very expensive for incomplete work that only lasted 3 years!!!

I moved out of state with braces on my face still, they assured me they would find me a care provider in my area. I’ve called them every week for a month, and Lisa doesn’t seem to have an answer or desire to help me. When I call during business hours my first few calls are always rejected and sent to voicemail. I’ve been left in the lurch, stressed out with braces on my face with no continuity of care. Very disheartening.

Ashley is a relatively new hygienist. She did a great job on the cleaning and was very careful with my sensitive gums. So thankful.

I had the pinhole procedure in June 2019. The only medication I was given was a local anesthetic. They were out of nitrous oxide that day. I had to request more local anesthetic during the procedure and developed necrosis afterward. I followed up with Dr. Fann numerous times and my last appointment was in May of 2020. At that time my gum had receded and was as severe or close to the original recession that the pinhole procedure, which cost me more than $2000, was supposed to address. Dr. Fann was clearly irritated at the time of the appointment, he argued with me when I told him I was in pain. He brushed it off as sensitivity. He argued with me that my gum recession was as bad as before and was angry when he couldnt find photos to prove me wrong. I told him I wanted it fixed and he literally said im not feeling it. Everything about this appointment was bizarre and I had previously viewed Dr. Fanns bedside manner as pleasant, but on this day he was rude, arrogant, and dismissive. Months later I did get a call from their office inquiring if I wanted to come in for an appointment and perhaps he would have attempted another procedure to fix it as had been promised on almost every visit up until the May appointment, however after the previous experience I will never have him perform any dental work for me. Complete waste of more than 2 thousand dollars.

The staff at Art of Dentistry are the best kind of people! You won’t feel more welcomed by a reception staff anywhere else. The dental assistants all work together as a team to provide excellent care to their patients, making sure you are as comfortable as possible and answer every question you might have. The doctors truly care about their patients well being and comfort as well and go above and beyond to provide the best treatment to them. Any time you have an issue they work you in to take care of it ASAP. I just love everyone I have encountered here and have had nothing short of great experiences at this practice!

Amazing experience here! I have lots of anxiety surrounding going the dentist due to a chronic health condition and a terrible experience at the last dentist I saw. Everyone on staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and gentle. No one tried to sell me on any procedures or products that I didn’t need and my hygienist checked on me regularly to see if I was doing alright because I disclosed my dental anxiety to her. Definitely worth the 45 minute drive for me and I’ll be recommending The Art of Dentistry to all my friends!

Our insurance covers cleanings 100% with a preferred provider. Dr. Fann is a premier provider. We were referred to Dr. Fann by dear friends. $600 dollars later for routine cleanings because Dr. Fann choose not to be transparent up front and share his premier status when setting up appointments knowing that we are going to have to pay out of pocket. Called to cancel future appointments and Dr. Fann’s staff could have cared less that he just lost 6 customers. She asked for my email so our NEW expensive X-rays and charts could be transferred to a new provider. You would think that customer retention would be a priority!

I am so happy to have found a kind and caring dental team at The Art Of Dentistry. I’ve had only good experiences with them and I appreciate how well they take care of me every time. Special shout out to Leanne, she’s the bestest!!!

Everyone is so personable and pleasing at this facility. And they all have beautiful teeth. I wouldnt go to a barber shop with employees that have lousy haircuts no more than I would a dental facility with such teeth. These folks operate a very professional Dentistry with such great people skills. They make you feel comfortable knowing they care and give you hope for a Brighter Smile!

My colleague was in SO much pain after wisdom teeth removal, they just pushed more pills on her when she voiced her concerns. She went back 2 days post surgery and they DIDNT EVEN LOOK AT HER MOUTH! She ended up being forced to go to another Dentist who immediately diagnosed her with dry sockets and treated her right away. Then they continued to tell her they dealt with the situation appropriately.. APPROPRIATELY?! How is seeing a patient, pushing pills and ignoring an evaluation appropriate??

Hands down the best place to get a beautiful smile! They have the best staff. They got out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcome. They work with you on care plans. My teeth were jacked up thanks to grinding in my sleep. These folks are compassionate and really understand! I look forward to going in and seeing them.

The Staff at the Art of Dentistry are always friendly and cheerful. They are heavily booked. My guess is because of their service. They are very technically proficient with all the latest equipment. I have been going to them for 10 years and have watched them grow and add more and more equipment. Meghan is my favorite dental hygienist, because she is very thorough and so gentle that you wonder how she can clean your teeth so well. My wife has anxiety with any dental process and she really likes Meghan too.My last appointment I had to cancel due to work and I wanted to reschedule other day of my rescheduled follow up with my doctor. They were booked up, but the afternoon before, they called and said they had a cancellation. So it worked out perfectly afterall. The receptionist remembered that I wanted a slot on that day and was ready when an opening occurred.Great business and a great team of staff.

Dr. Fann? Great! All the other staff members? Rude, never helped me fix my issues, and told me misinformation more than twice. Stopped coming to this dentist because of how awful the front desk ladies were and made me feel unwelcome! You would think someone paying hundreds of dollars, the staff would at least be kind.. or fake it like McDonalds employees do... stay away from this dentist office! Beck dental care is my go to now, and I couldnt be happier. I wish Dr. Fann would move to their office.

I was very happy with my visit today at The Art of Dentistry. The office was very nice. The office staff were very helpful and friendly. I saw Dr Brian Fann and Lee Ann. They were very kind, and made me at ease. I felt very comfortable and that is a big deal for me, I have had very BAD experiences in the past with other dentist that made me fear going to the dentist for years. I will be going back and will refer others to the Art of Dentistry!

So my dislike for dentists stems from the Army, if you have any idea about this you are already understanding my paranoia levels. However from the second of walking in the door my anxiety lever dropped at least 1 point so I was at a 2999/10. After being brought back and talked to by a few ladies in the office, and exam room I was comfortable enough to not Have them knock me out (yeah I am a dentist wimp), big step for me considering I’d prefer redeployment than the dentist.This place has people like me and apparently dentistry down to an art(hence the name?), and they are the Grand Architects of this masterpiece. They have there! Their staff is attentive to the patients needs, they seemed to enjoy answering any questions even if I interrupted them. I was not just another new patient I was a human, but I guess that comes along with the compassion this staff has.If you are looking for a Dental office, I would recommend this place as your first stop, the people and service are exceptional!

Another great experience. Dr. Humphreys and her assistant removed bad parts of two teeth and replaced them with crowns in 2.5 hours. One visit and done with new technology and skill!Great, as always! Older cap had popped off. Cleaned, reset, and alignment adjusted and out the door in 20 minutes. On the annual dental plan this was covered under the one free emergency visit per year. Thanks again.

Great group from office folks up front to the dental hygienist; and great Dentist. Got me in quickly as a new patient due to some insurance running out and ended up becoming my new Dentist. Just a great group of kind, customer service driven folks that do the right thing. They kept me from spending a bunch of unnecessary money and honestly just won be over as a new patient.

This place is amazing. I was terrified to have a root canal (I’ve heard horror stories) but everyone made me feel so relaxed and at ease. I felt like I had options and I had a real say in my care. I felt virtually no pain throughout my root canal and anytime I did, it was immediately fixed. I can’t imagine going anywhere else!

I had the six month smile done here. The staff was amazing, friendly, welcoming, and made me so comfortable. I am so happy with the results! If you are looking to correct your smile, go see them! You wont regret it!

To preface this I will say I like many others have a dislike for dentists. Which kept me from dealing with an issue for quite a while.I came here for a tooth sensitivity that had lasted me for many years that then turned into very bad pain. Previous dentists told me there was nothing wrong but grinding my teeth and to wear a night gaurd.One visit here and they isolated the issue and determined it was not because of grinding. They explain everything in detail and make sure you are comfortable constantly trough the procedure. I left feeling great and confident that the issue has been resolved. I am also confident in them to back any issues that arise of it.I will continue to use them and have already started recommending them to friends and family.

I have moved from Iowa a year ago to Spring Hill. In Iowa I had a dentist with a General Dentistry practice for almost 30 years. I am amazed with the comprehensive practice of The Art of Dentistry. A one stop practice. Each visit has been a more than satisfactory time. I am glad to have found you all after our move here.

So far so good. Friendly reception, knowledgeable staff, and the doc seems like a solid guy. All of my questions and concerns were addressed thoroughly, and I am satisfied with the treatment plan he established for me. I cant report any more than that, at this time. Well see how it goes, I guess. Probably I cant avoid this for much longer ...Update: Yesterday I somehow found the courage to go in for gum surgery and some reconstruction, to replace a missing tooth. The Doc is a great guy, absolutely professional, knowledgeable, very kind and patient, and above all, highly skilled. I was confident of a successful outcome. April, in reception, is very sweet and helpful. Leeann is just the best there is. She is awesome ! Her technical skills, and her way with people are second to none. She is really good with a grinder. I am a big old coward when it comes to dental work, but she put me right at ease, and got me thru the whole thing with a minimum of whining and begging (on my part !). She is a keeper, Doc.I am so happy with the results. I have all my teeth again ! It didnt take long, and it didnt hurt at all, which I still cant hardly believe. No scheduling problems, they got me right in for a consult, and scheduled the work shortly thereafter. Very willing to work around my work schedule, which isnt easy. The price is right in line with the industry standards in this area, and in the end, price is not a limiting factor when it comes to teeth. I am healing up very well, and I am confident that all will end well. If you are looking for a dentist, or need some construction repair work done, give this place a try. You will thank me later.

This was probably the best experience Ive had at a dentists office. My hygienist (Megan) was so gentle and super nice, as was Dr. Fann. We recently moved to this Columbia, and I made an appointment with them because I live nearby. Best decision Ive made in a while. All the staff was very nice and professional. Ive been to 2 other dentists in the Spring Hill/Thompsons Station area over the years, and this office is by far the best in my opinion.

I love this place. It’s the only place here in town I trust with my dental care. I’ve had horrible experiences before with other dentists but not here. They are always kind and compassionate and they genuinely care about their patients. I’ve had to have a number of things done (including more to tollow) and they have great payment options. If you are looking for a dentist that makes you feel good and wants to give you great results and also give you options when you may not have many- this is the place to go!

Oh boy was I in some pain when I called these wonderful people! The receptionist was as sweet as she could be and got me in an hour and a half after I called! The wait was maybe 10 minutes when I got there and the dental assistant was kind, courteous, and informative. She was straight to the point on my issues and on payment as well. Dr. Fann was super fast and very good at easing my anxieties. I was in and out in maybe 45 minutes. Would give 10 stars if I could.

The whole staff is very personal & friendly. I came to The Art of Dentistry because I was told I needed a root canal. Dr. Fann saved me from getting the root canal and just built the tooth up and put a permanent crown on. I was very thankful for his honesty and great work!

Took my 78 year old father to this dentist. He put in two posts for dental implants. One is in the sinus cavity and is being removed by an oral surgeon. Dr. Fann refused to give any refund or even acknowledge there is a problem. The Office manager was more concerned about the bad review than how my dad was doing!Update: The post was removed by an oral surgeon. He said very little bone at the top of implant if any at all. Its been several months now and he feels much better. No more headaches and throbbing pain in his head on the right side. Happy ending except it cost $3,595 for two posts to this dentist and $700 to have one removed, with no refund from dentist!

I genuinely can never say enough good things about The Art of Dentistry, Dr. Humphreys, Aleia, Dr. Fann, Kalah, April, and any of the other staff that I’ve inadvertently left out(sorry I know I’ve left some of you out)! If you need to find a dental office, they are the absolute best around! The whole staff is always helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Going to an appointment here is like stopping by my friend’s house for a visit. I am always given an opportunity to ask questions, although they make certain to explain everything so well, I rarely do. I will also say I have been to several different dental offices around the area over the years and not one of them is on the same level all the way around, as The Art of Dentistry. I have never felt as at ease going to the dentist as I do here! Previously, I have put off or rescheduled appointments with other offices because I dreaded going so much and would delay going with any excuse I could muster. I can honestly say I have not done that once since I changed to this office a few years ago. I used to be someone who deeply loathed going to the dentist and as odd as it may be to some, I really enjoy going now. This office helped me figure out that I don’t have to feel anxious, stressed, or filled with dread just because it’s time for a cleaning. This is so much the case, that I have recently had them place Six Months Smiles on my teeth and see them very frequently for adjustments. I have wanted braces all of my life, but I was so afraid of how often I would have to go to the dentist that I delayed getting them for a very long time. I greatly appreciate the dedication and kind approach all of you bring to the dental field! Thanks so much to each of you for all of your dedicated hard work, it means a lot!

Dr. Fann and the entire staff have been fantastic. I have had anxiety about the dentist for a long time and have avoided going. But a cavity and a broken tooth had other ideas. The staff helped relieve my anxiety (sedation also helped during the major procedure). But with the follow up and cleaning they made sure I was comfortable. Highly recommend.
