I just switched dentists after 20 years with a wonderful dentist in Columbia who retired. This was my first visit to Woodside Dental and it was wonderful. The office is beautiful and very welcoming. The receptionist was delightful and very efficient with processing paperwork and payment. Maura was my hygienist. She was outstanding; friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. Dr. Shah was lovely. She has a very friendly and engaging manner. She took her time to listen to my dental concerns and gave me appropriate options . The atmosphere seems very teamwork oriented. I feel like I found the perfect new place for my family and me.

I had my first appointment here today, after having been with another dentist, who recently retired, for more than 25 years. The front office staff was friendly and helpful. Charlene, who used to clean my teeth at my previous dentist, was as personable and knowledgeable as ever. Dr. Shah was friendly, listened to my concerns, and explained to me in a way I could easily understand, what could be done to remedy the situation. Nobody tried to sell me any product or convince me to have a procedure that I did not need. It was as smooth of a transition as I could have hoped for. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a a really good dentist.

Care and commitment. Those are the two thoughts that immediately come to mind when I go to this dental practice. I had been seeing Dr. Pat Stoker and am truly grateful for the time she and her staff have spent in providing dental care for me over these MANY years. Happy retirement to her! Dr. Shah has more than provided the same dedicated care in her place. The staff remain the same with some new members. I like that she will be incorporating some changes to how you are charged for the services and has made it easy for you to see what the up front costs will be for specific dental care. I never feel rushed, my questions are welcomed and I like the proactive communication that is maintained with all the staff in regards to my care. A big welcome to Dr. Shah and well done to her staff!

Dr. Shah is very knowledgeable and easy to talk with. She explains procedures and alternatives clearly and in a friendly way. Her office has highly advanced examination and diagnostic equipment that I have not seen elsewhere.Stephanie has been my hygienist for many years. She always puts me at ease, explaining what she’s doing and making sure I’m comfortable while cleaning and checking my teeth. I know my teeth are doing great thanks to both Dr. Shah and Stephanie. I actually look forward to my dentist appointments now. 😊

Excellent service but scheduling hours are difficult for my kids. The latest scheduled time is 3:30pm. With my kids in school needing to go to the dentist I have to pull them out of school early to get to any appointment. Service is great otherwise.

Great first visit. Very professional. Maura was caring and explained everything to me and Dr. Shah covered my current dental needs and did not oversell or push. Very impressive.

This place is great! I have a really complex dental history and I just moved here from out of state. Woodside automatically asked if they can grab my prior records and xrays from my prior dentist before I could even tell them! Dr. Palak Shah had a great understanding of my issues before I saw her. The staff are super friendly and organized! And I had the best cleaning ever. The hygienist worked on my teeth beyond my expectations. Im extremely happy!! Highly recommend Woodside Dental!

Had a wonderful experience! Erin was so attentive, thorough and considerate throughout the cleaning. The blanket and lavender oil is also a very special, luxurious touch. Dr. Shah is great and I trust her very much with my teeth. Highly recommend this practice and team!!

First time back since last November for my cleaning. Kelly at the front desk was very professional and friendly, as usual. Erin did a great job cleaning my teeth. She always takes the time to make sure all my questions are answered, regarding any issues that I might have. The office was very clean and sterile. A great dental practice.

As always, this trip to the dentist went as well as a trip to the dentist can. The dental hygienist, Stephanie, an angel of the first sort, checked out my tooth pain and did some x-rays. She arranged for a quick trip to an oral surgeon that afternoon where I found I needed a root canal (yikes!). The entire time I was at Dr. Stokers office was wonderful. Caring people, care in testing and avoiding pain, quick appt to see a specialist. I couldnt ask for better people or a better dentist.

Dr Stoker and the entire staff continue to deliver the same EXCELLENT care and have added top notch COVID-19 safety precautions to protect the staff and the clients!

I am a dentist also and I have known Dr. Stoker since we were both dental hygienists working in the DC area. Even then, she was level headed and exceedingly smart, much too smart not to advance her education. I started dental school a couple of years behind her at the University of Maryland (number 3 of the top ranked dental schools in the Nation, by the way), and I could only hope to compare to her reputation as a top-notch student.I highly recommend Dr. Stoker. I know her patients are in very capable hands. If I lived in the area, she would be my dentist too.

I am always in awe of the state of the art approach to dental treatment that Dr. Stoker and her team use. Most recently it was dental X-Rays that do not involve processing film but rather go straight into a computer and are posted so you and the dental team can see them. The entire practice is wonderful, focused on patient comfort, care, prevention of dental disease and treatment of the patients whole health, not just teeth (although you will find through patient education that teeth are a gateway to many aspects of your health, especially your heart)! Dr. Stoker and her team are wonderful and provide outstanding services to patients of all ages with focus on family dentistry. If you require a procedure that Dr. Stoker does not provide, she will give you a referral to another excellent dentist with the same wonderful approach and treatment as she provides for all your other needs. I visited Dr. Stokers office for special procedure and could not have been happier. The admin staff was very helpful prior to the appointment and had all my paperwork in order when I arrived. Then after meeting Dr. Stoker I knew immediately I had found the perfect dentist for my procedure. She was friendly, explained everything to my satisfaction, did not rush through my visit and was compassionate which would ease anyones anxiety about a dental appt.My only complaint is the procedure was not covered by my insurance.
