0 stars the dental filling that my son had done in thir office literally fell out in less than a month. Worst dental office, and as other reviewers have confirmed, they only care about money. They would not refill my sons cavity because of an issue with my insurance company.

Zero stars. All they care about is money, not your health. Good luck trying to get an appointment, especially if you ever have to cancel. I couldnt get in for over 6 months and needed an exam for work, so I had to find a new provider. Dobbin refused to transfer my records without paying an unreasonable fee for the simple task of emailing my electronic record. They care more about money than continuity of care since they could easily have provided this as a courtesy.

Please watch out for unnecessary services and charges. I went in for a routine cleaning and ended up with a bill for an expensive X-ray. They forego the regular bite wing images that they normally do which is covered by my insurance. I called and they put me on hold for 22 minutes. Be very careful before you get comfortable in their chair.

I have been going to this practice for over 15 years. It is the largest dental practice in Howard County with (I was told) over 20,000 active patient files and several dentists on staff. Unfortunately, since COVID hit, their front desk staff has been absolutely rude and incompetent, and it is nearly impossible to get an appointment for anything less than 6-8 months out, even for urgent issues. They dont care if youre in pain. Dr. Satola and most of the dental hygienists are great, but when the front office is a mess, its not worth the hassle. I am moving out of state so luckily I dont need to deal with this place anymore. Sad, because it used to be a great practice. I would suggest going elsewhere.

I’ve personally had a bad experience with Dobbin Dental Suite. A chipped tooth I had them fill popped out 3 times, within the span of 3 months, before I decided to go to another practice. The tooth was filled by the new office 5 months ago now without issue.

I have trust issues with Dentist but not Dobbin Dental. Been going there for over 15 years and no desire to seek another.

If you have fear of going to the dentist, may I recommend the happiest, friendliest practice that Ive ever gone to, Dobbin Dental Suite. I met Dr. Angela Paliotta at a time when I needed a dentist after moving to Maryland from New Jersey. She and her colleague, Dr. Carrie McMillen, were able to see me almost immediately for a cleaning and a couple of other issues.Ive been seeing Dr. McMillen ever since, and not only are they fabulous dentists, they are genuinely awesome people, with a staff that is knowledgeable and friendly.I have recommended Dobbin Dental Suite often, and will always continue to do so.

The lady on the phone was so rude , I was asking any late time appointments she was I said no , no no omg is this the way to talk seriously.

My husband has been seeing Dr. Satola for several years and loves her! When I broke a molar over the weekend, he suggested that I contact Dobbin Dental. Even though I’ve never been to the practice before, they fit me in within a few days, and I saw Dr. Culotta—I adored her! Honestly, my entire experience at DD was fantastic. The woman doing the COVID screenings in the lobby; the woman who took my insurance details; Renata, who did my x-ray and assisted Dr. Culotta; the dentist herself; the woman who scheduled my follow-up appointment... every single person I encountered was kind, friendly, and professional. I typically feel quite anxious at the dentist, but my experience at Dobbin Dental was so good, I never once felt unsafe or uncomfortable. THANK YOU to the entire team for a great experience!

I had a cleaning done today with Tyler and she was amazing and so thorough and informative! She explained everything she was doing which I greatly appreciate. Dr. Greensburg was the dentist who came to check me over and she was so kind and asked me if I had any discomfort. She explained what was going on in my mouth and was very nice. The staff is also caring as well. It was a great appointment!

I’ve been a patient of this practice for many years. They always do a fantastic job with my cleaning, filling or crowning. I love the doctors, hygienists and the staff. They’re very welcoming and truly care for their patients! I would HIGHLY recommend Dobbin Dental Suite. You will always walk out with a smile on your face :-)

Me and my family love this place. All four of us always go together for our cleaning. We have been going here for over 15 years. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for dental care. HOWEVER, they no longer do courtesy email or text appointment reminders. So be prepared to remember the appointment you set 6 months ago, or pay $58 per person for the appointment missed.

Always great experience here. Not sure what the other person was talking about, I just had to reschedule an appointment I forgot about, I got a call and a text 5 days in advance and was able to reschedule without issue.12 year patient, they always give pragmatic advice, have great and efficient staff and appointments have always been on time. Never once been oversold any treatment options unlike pretty much every other dentist i have ever been to.Also, if you want your dental experience to not be awful, floss often, get a waterpik for daily use to get the food junk out of your gums and invest in a power toothbrush and use as advised. Seriously, great dentist appointments and service comes from proper health care, this isnt an oil change.

The dentists and hygienists are great here. The dentists take the time to talk to you to make sure you dont have any concerns. The hygienists are thorough and gentle. Highly recommend.

I just received a root canal and felt very little. I’ve had other dental work completed and I’m always pleased. The staff is very professional and thorough.

If I could give a zero star, I would. The receptionist (I wish I could remember her name) was so unkind and unprofessional!! My wisdom tooth cracked and Ive been in severe pain for over a week now. I went in for a consultation and was told I needed to have all 4 removed. Ok, great. Well the receptionist scheduled me for one month out! One month!! I explained to her that I was in a great deal of pain, so much so that Im woken out of my sleep even with the highest dose of ibuprofen. She was completely unconcerned and barely gave me a recommendation for another dentist office. Attitude the entire time.

PROS: Mouth felt clean after the routine cleaning, filling was painless (for the most part), and the Dr. Shah and the hygienist seemed to really care about my health.CONS: Receptionist are extremely rude. If it wasnt for a referral I received by a family member I would not have went to this office. Also they do not check whether your insurance covers a particular procedure which can lead to potential unexpected bills and payouts right after the procedure is done.If you can take snobby attitudes while on the phone AND in person in order to get to a good doctor then try this place.

Dobbin is a very popular dentist office that can be hard to get into and you have to make appointments far in advance. I have been going here for 20+ years, only briefly leaving them for a closer dentist. My entire family has been satisfied with the care from the dentists and hygienists. Some of the receptionists can be short, but most are pleasant enough. They are strict about the missed appointment penalty fee.

Great dentist and staff. My 4 yo was very comfortable.

Dobbin dental suite is not flexible when circumstances arise and you need to cancel an appointment. I was charged by the “doctor” because I had to reschedule twice. I don’t understand.....I find out at the last minute that they need me to stay at work, I can’t just walk out because I have a dental appointment. I called as soon as I realized I was not gonna make it and on top of that I didn’t find out I was being charged until I called back the next day to reschedule.Rethink the cancellation fee policy please.

My old dentist stopped accepting our insurance and I had a broken tooth that needed fast attention. Not sure what front office staff folks here are complaining about - everyone Ive dealt with has been professional and courteous, from the gals out front to the hygienists and especially Dr. Culotta. Im not an easy patient to deal with. Loads of fear and anxiety just going for a checkup, actual procedures are worse, but Dr. Culotta has been patient and understanding each time Ive been back. I love this place. Cant believe Im saying that about a dental office.

Worst dentist place I have ever seen in my life. These place only interested in making money. I have set up appointment for cleaning and they just spent 45 minutes of appointment in taking Xrays which is covered by insurance and end up not even doing cleaning at all. I only had X rays during the appointment and I strictly told them I dont want to pay a single penny from my pocket because of previous experience with them. I strictly told them take the X rays whatever covers by insurance. At that point they told me I did not have to pay anything and a month later they stated sending the bills for doing NOTHING. and also charge my insurance company at the same time. I had the same experience 2 years back with this place and thought they might change by now and might improve their quality of work but I was wrong and they did the same thing with me this time too. So much HATE this place.I would never recommend this place to anyone. They are big time CHEATER.

Been going to Dobbin all my life. Dentist are great. All of them. Love love love Paliotta! The receptionist help is a hit or miss. They seem to get irritated quick and need to realize that when people call there in pain they need to be a little more sensitive.

Our family has been visiting Dobbin Dental Suite for several years now. Once we found them, we did not have a reason to search for other places for any dental work.

Bowman and Paliotta are phenomenal. I have a high fear of the dentist and they make it so comfortable. However, the front desk is completely awful. The dental assistants are hit or miss some are great some are nasty. If Bowman and Paliotta weren’t so wonderful, I would go somewhere else.

I really really wish I could give 0 or negative stars but unfortunately I cant. This place is a basically as bad as any dentist can get. Unethical, unprofessional and scam artists put in one enterprise. If you have Dr. Palliota as your dentist you are lucky she is probably the only good person here. But she is surrounded by pure evilness. When receptionists from hell were being offered for free these guys volunteered to take them all. Now if you are super unlucky like I was Dr. Bowman will be your dentist and then like me you will end up here writing a review for Dobbin Dental, hoping that on judgment day Almighty will look at you kindly for you tried to warn fellow human beings.... if you still choose to go to them for your dental care... Lord have mercy on you... at least beg for Dr. Palliota ... and afterwards double .. triple check your bills. Enough said....

15 years of great dental care!

The service while I was there, was fine. But their billing practices have been horrible. I came for a routine check up and the dental techs/receptionist assured me that my check up and x-rays would be covered. They reassured me that, despite my previous experience with my OWN insurance, that I would not have to pay the full price for these x-rays. I explained that I could not pay for the full price of a dental x-ray and they reassured me that my insurance would cover it. Turns out, they lied to me. I had to pay the full price of the x-rays and the majority of the cleaning. When I called to complain, the billing department dained to say that they were legally required to take x-rays and that they were not responsible for what the insurance did not cover.Im so sick of how Ive been treated by Dobbin Dental. I went here on a friends recomendation and I am regreting it. It would have been one thing if they had been straight with me but Ive been lied to and given the run around.

This is the WORST dentist. My boyfriend was losing his dentist insurance and asked to get his cavaties filled. They scheduled him for two unnecessary appointments after the receptionist repeatedly yelled at us rudely on the phone. They refused to do the side of his mouth with most cavaties and refused to numb him properly due to time constraints because they only care about money, not patients. This place is absolutely DISGUSTING. They use improper practices. Hes in pain on the night of his 21st because they refused to fill the bad cavaties the appointment prior! Im contacting the state for an investigation on this company and the way they treat LIVING HUMAN BEINGS. Expect to be treated like dirt, rudely talked to, made fun of, and be in lots of pain.

I cannot tell you how your experience with the dental hygienists here will be, because no one can predict that. Every time I visit I get a new hygienist, and my experience varies. I have been going to the Dobbin Dental for the last five years, and I have had good cleanings, and bad ones - ones where the hygienist didnt do anything much. But then there are good days when they clean my teeth properly. It all depends on which dentist you get. One visit stands out though, they were short handed, and they were in a hurry to get patients in and out. The cleaning that day was painful because the hygienist was trying to be done with it. I am still trying to forget that one experience.

Dobbin Dental No longer accepts United Concordia, we specifically switched to another insurance provider to go to this office. After open enrollment closed they sent out a letter that they will be accepting United Concordia. We have already switched, after being told they did accept the new provider they have since changed their mind.Will no longer being going to this practice after going out of our way to stay here they dont see to have their stuff together. Extremely disappointed after years of going here.

I absolutely Love Dr Carrie McMIllian, but the front desk staff is HORRIBLE and rude. BUT, if you want amazing dentists, I highly recommend the dentists at Dobbin Dental.

Why Cant I leave Zero stars? This place is AWFUL. My boyfriend got his teeth out here, and I have many complaints. Unlike everyone else I know, they didnt prescribe any medication but 300MG ibuprofen - I take stronger than that for my period. He was miserable with no medication but that. They also didnt give DISSOVABLE stitches - which is a total money gimic. Gave him NO care instructions, Didnt even put him under in a ditsy way. Theyve told him he can not EAT normal for 5 weeks, for someone who is only 120 pounds and works 9 hours on his feet this Is a HUGE concern. Hes been starving because he can only eat yogurt. Even now that the stitches are out. His breath smells awful because he was given nothing to rinse with. I would NEVER use you and Im considering complaining to the county about your unorthodox EXPENSIVE methods. Sad to see dentists/doctors with no intergrity and honesty left in the world.Oh and DO NOT FORGET this doctor cant work after midday on Thursday because hes just too good.

I have not been to the dentist in a long time because of financial difficulties. As a result I had an urgent dental need that had to be addressed immediately. I have been a patient of Dobbin Dental Suite for over 30 years and every experience I have had there has been positive. I originally met with Dr. Llewelyn (now retired) who was wonderful. Then, I had Dr. Bowman who is my favorite go to. He has always made me feel exceptionally comfortable, he explains the procedures thoroughly and allows you to consider the expense and your options. A few times I have seen Dr. Satola (my kids go to her) and she has been equally awesome. Before I had my own insurance, I went to our family dentist in Reisterstown. My experience at Dobbin has always been so much better. When I had to move to Texas (military spouse) the dentist there noted the work that Dr. Bowman had done as exceptional. Now that I am back on my feet I will not be a stranger to the office. I actually like going there ... Now who likes going to the dentist?

This is an amazing practice of professionals all around. I am a person who has always needed a lot of dental work and visiting the dentist has not always been a very pleasant experience. Fortunately, I discovered Dobbin Dental. From the very first appointment, I knew this was the right office for me and my family. The office staff is professional, organized and well versed with insurance information and benefits. The dental assistants and doctors are caring and patient, especially with someone like me who has so much dental anxiety. I also had the best cleaning I have ever had. Thank you Ms. Sabrina and Dr. Paliotta for taking excellent care of me today!
