This place is amazing. The staff is warm and genuinely cares. Individual care plans with reasonable rates, worked with me to prioritize. I had not gone to dentist in years but they made me want to go to the dentist. I barely ever write reviews except when someone is really that good. If your afraid because of rough dentist in the past, please call them. It will change your life. I can smile again. 😃

Staff was very nice and polite and knowledgeable with my insurance. Dentist was very professional, polite and caring of my feelings as a patient. I had a fantastic experience at this dentist. Dr. Kim was both extremely professional and very friendly throughout the exam and cleaning. Upon hearing my concerns from past dental visits, Dr. Kim was very attentive and made sure to take special care throughout the procedure. She also was very informative throughout the exam, explaining every step of her process and what it meant for me. One unique feature at this location is the use of 3D camera imaging. This was a very cool additional feature that Ive never seen before and was well-used by Dr. Kim to explain areas of concern for my mouth. I would highly recommend Lakeside Smiles for anyone looking for a dentist in the Columbia area and cant speak highly enough about my experience.

I switched to Lakeside Smile a year ago after being failed by the previous dental office who did unnecessary fillings on my teeth, which until today, I’m still having issues with. I was wary when I came to see Dr. Kim not knowing if she’s anything like my previous dentist and I’m happy to say I have found a dentist who I trust and can stick with for the years to come. She’s gentle when working on my teeth and detail when she does my cleaning. She lets me know what she’s doing every step of the way. I have never felt any discomfort or rushed during any of the treatment. Furthermore, she never talks down to her patients but instead educate them on taking care of their oral health. The office is clean and they take COVID precautions seriously. When you arrive to the office, you’re asked to wash your hands and before you’re seated in your office, you are asked to rinse your mouth. I highly recommend Lakeside Smiles and Dr. Kim to anyone and I’m glad to have found the right dentist for myself!

Dr. Kim was wonderful! Very thorough and gentle in her work. The clinic is very pretty and the most up to date equipment. Dental assistant was lovely, very professional from the beginning to the end. Very impressed was my first visit and I will be back!

We found Lakeside Smiles in July 2020 after me and my husband wanted to find a dentist closer to home. Dr. Kim and her staff are professional and friendly every time we visit. Shes knowledgeable about the process and tools used and explains things every step of the way. So far weve been very happy with our experience and her service and in a beautiful office.

This was my first time here and first time to a dentist in over a year so I was nervous about what they would find! Dr. Kathy Kim is amazing - she’s so friendly and has a great sense of humor. She gave me a really thorough exam and took time to answer all my questions. I have sensitive teeth so I’m nervous at the dentist anyway, but she has a really gentle touch and is thoughtful about how she “handles” your mouth. And Tanisha is so rad too - just a friendly, welcoming person and a great right hand for Dr. Kim.This location is not just nice to look at either. I was really impressed with all the software and technology available. I have never been to a dentist where I had 3D imaging made of my teeth - this is going to be a game changer in how I manage my oral health. I’m really excited to make the improvements I need with Lakeside Smiles. I will definitely be recommending to anyone looking for a new dentist, and even if you’re not maybe check them out and see if it’s time for a change. Thank you SO much for looking after my mouth :)

If I could rate more than 5 stars I would! I had a beyond wonderful experience at Lakeside Smiles Columbia. Dr. Kathy DiPasquale Kim and her dental assistant were extremely friendly and welcoming. The office was easy to find, and the interior was beautifully decorated and equipped with a lot of advanced technology I had never seen at my prior dentists office. Dr. DiPasquale Kim was gentle, extremely informative and thorough when going over my X-rays and exams, and answered all of my questions in detail leaving no room for doubt or confusion. My first experience with Lakeside Smiles was great and I am very happy to have found my new dentist!

I took my 2 (sometimes difficult) girls(2.5 and 5.5 yr old) there today and had a wonderful experience. Dr Kim was so patient with them and thorough with her exam. The big screen tv in front of them played a movie and it made a huge difference. The office itself is brand new and clean. Overall a very pleasant experience. 5 stars!

Today was my first appointment with my new dentist, Dr. Kathy Kim, and my experience was great! From friendly staff (Latisha, sorry if misspelled) who greeted me and took my X-rays to my cleaning & consultation appointment with Dr. Kim, I felt comfortable. Dr. Kathy walked me through everything she was doing / talking about in great detail. They were also both very helpful with my questions about my insurance (since I just switched to a new one). I’m super picky about my dentist, so I’m happy to have found one I highly recommend! The office is in Columbia, and it’s new & super clean.

I am very pleased with the services received at Lakeside Smiles, and plan on returning. Scheduling was prompt. Ms. Atwater, Dental Assistant, and Dr. DiPasquale were very courteous and professional. They both took their time in providing education and explaining diagnostic testing results and the treatment recommendations. The office space was neat and aesthetically pleasing. If you are looking for a friendly dental office with an excellent dentist, look no further! Dr. Kim is, hands down, the best dentist I have ever seen -- both skilled and highly compassionate. They also have a great annual plan for people with no dental insurance that includes cleaning, at-home whitening, x-rays, and 1 emergency appt. The office is new, and its beautiful. Plus, parking is easy. I have always found it hard to find all of this in one practice. Usually, you either have a great dentist with unfriendly staff, or vice-versa. This practice is heaven! 😊😇

I was looking for a new dentist and had a few on my list when I got Dr. Kim’s postcard in the mail. I’m big on positive reviews, especially for doctors, and when I saw she had high ratings, I got excited. My previous dentist did not make an effort to get to know my overall health nor did they take their time with my cleanings, often getting me out in less than 30 mins. Dr. Kim is extremely knowledgeable and warm, making me feel like my dental health truly mattered. She also takes the time to explain what is going on with your teeth and also talks about options, without making you feel pressured into it. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and have already scheduled an appointment to correct some issues and my next cleaning. I have already recommended her to my friends and family, hoping they make their way into Dr. Kim’s chair. ☺️

I went to Lakeside Smiles for my regular checkup and cleaning. The office was modern and the staff was very friendly. Dr. Kim explained everything thoroughly and was gentle. I followed Dr. Kim from her last office and am happy to keep her as my dentist!

She has been my dentist for the past few years and I still don’t have any cavities 🤷🏻‍♂️ Honest, trustworthy and just an exceptional dentist. Only problem now is that we have to trek up 95 to get our teeth cleaned. Well worth it. . .

Couldnt have asked for a smoother move from military life to the civilian side. I walked in inquiring about services which were possibly covered by my retiree plan and the team sprung to action. I was seen the same day and given the most thorough explanation, Ive ever received, of my current conditions by Dr Kim. I followed Dr. Kim from her former practice in Rockville to Lakeside Smiles in Columbia as she is a truly amazing doctor. I now drive 45 minutes instead of 15, but the drive totally worth it. I had an incredible experience at Lakeside Smiles. I was greeted by Tanesha, a great dental hygienist that instantly made me feel welcomed and relaxed as she took all of my X-rays. Afterwards, Dr. Kim thoroughly reviewed all of the X-rays with me, one by one, and then cleaned my teeth. Both Tanesha and Dr. Kim took the time to explain what they were doing and why they were doing it, and I never once felt hurried. This was my first experience with Dr. Kim at her new office but not my first experience with Dr. Kim. She exemplifies what a dentist should be. She is very thorough with her procedures and explains her processes with you to ensure that you are comfortable during your visit and that you understand whats going on.

I went in for my dental check up and cleaning yesterdayFirst of all I am so happy she is opened on saturdays. With my busy schedule ,it is hard to make time for my appointments. The office was was easy to find and I must say the reviews on here don’t lie! The dr.is very gentle and very informative. Dr. Kim is such an amazing dentist. Ive had the pleasure of having her be my dentist for the last 3 years and i have to say there is no one kinder than she is . She is also very gentle , always making sure im ok during the procedure and she always has my best interest at heart(never pushing me to do unnecessary dentistry) .
