I just had my first appointment today, and Im pleased to offer a positive review. First and foremost, I was able to get an appointment for a cleaning IN ONE DAY, while many of the other offices I tried didnt have availability within the next 30 days. I was also impressed with how pleasant and personable the staff was. Finally, my cleaning took a little longer than normal but I did not feel rushed out for the next patient and I left knowing my teeth were completely cleaned.

In all my years of serving in the military and also being a military spouse this has been by far the best practice that I have gone to. All of the staff members are very friendly and genuinely love their job and each other, which is very rare. When I call to make an appointment no matter who picks up the phone know who I am theyre always willing to work with you if there are any discrepancies on a bill, also give you the best care possible. Like I said, just love this Dentist!

I have been going to Dr Swick for many years because he and his team are absolutely wonderful! I even sent my grandparents and my mom to him, and have referred 3 friends just this year. All the staff are super friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. Best dental team ever!

I love this Dentist office!! They have plenty of patience and plenty of smiles to share with everyone. When I went to get my teeth cleaned I had to have an extraction also they were so nice and scheduled everything weeks apart so that I wouldnt have 2 procedures at the same time. They also worked with my bill even though its paid in full now but i didnt have to pay that money all at once.

Love going here. The ladies in the front office are awesome and oh so sweet!! Dr. Swick is very thorough and does a great job!! First time Ive had a crown put in that was perfect and didnt have to have anything else done to it. Very impressed!! Highly recommend.

Had my very first root canal and NO PAIN, when Doctor Swick started humming made me trust ALL is well, that I was in good hands, he even called to check on me today which was the first dentist EVER to call. Smilecare Family Dentistry is a fantastic facility that has given me the opportunity to have dental work done with care. Dr. Jim is very understanding. I was a new patient, of course afraid of dentists, he was very patient with me. I have a terrible gag reflex and told him that I would throw up on him if he wasnt careful. Of course he didnt believe me until it happened. We now laugh about it but he is cautious when he works on my teeth. If he sings to you tell him to keep his day job

The environment is truly humble compared to typical medical practice offices and that is what drew me to them at first. What kept me coming back was the way the staff made you feel like you were family. Constant warm welcome upon immediate entry within the office, they loved my babies and even held them and watched over them while I had my cleaning done with much joy! I grew up terrified of the dentist office, I sure wish this office had been around when I was younger! This staff is always as friendly as family (or possibly friendlier depending on YOUR family😜). Everything always goes smoothly and I am always in and out without any difficulties. I have also loved the music since the first day I changed to this practice! These people are ALL great.

They helped our 5 year old daughter LOVE getting her teeth cleaned and started working with her at 2 years old to get comfortable going to the dentist. My first experience with this office was great. My second was horrible. My greeting was a group of women making disparaging remarks about me as I walked by, which in itself is fine. Its not what youd expect in a professional environment, on any environment not saturated by children, but there I was being ridiculed by women who youd have to see to understand why, in itself, its just a moment to shrug off. We judge, and are judged. My experience with the dentist was the cake. He not only failed to address my concerns, he attempted to dictate that I have an x ray taken of a tooth that I had no concerns about, and that Ive already been advised has no nerve in it. He advised me that this tooth, with no nerve, is causing sensitivity and wearing of my enamel on my other teeth. When I advised him that Id had an x ray for the tooth, he advised that theyd need me to provide that x-ray today then. He then proceeded to discuss the crown that I needed, which, due to the overwhelming cost, Im unable to have done at this time. I joked that Im waiting on a $500 discount, to which I was met with complete silence. He leaves, and the dental assistant sets up for the x-ray of my tooth that Im not concerned about. I politely advise her, I wont be taking any x-rays. While exiting, my gals are waiting at the front literally staring at me, and making ridicule lite compliments, which I sustained and left, later calling to cancel any future appointments. This may not be everyones experience, but it was mine today. It was awful. I would never recommend this office to anyone.

After moving to Cola I was looking for a dentist for the entire family. My in laws recommended Dr. Swick. I sent my husband first (he is the most critical) to see how he felt about the office. Needless to say I am happy with their services. Very friendly, patient, and all around wonderful atmosphere!

I came here because I had a cracked a tooth, and I have to say, their hours worked for me, and what I needed. That is the great part.However, I thought the office was a bit traditional (not as modern as some) although they did have their x-ray on computer. The staff was professional and worked well with my circumstances, but not as personable as I have had before… They were quite insistent on doing a bone graft even though I know I couldve put it off for later… I am not exactly sure what to think about the docs stitching work as it came out partially kind of quickly (which I know happens) … … but eh, it didnt impress me is all.The receptionist was fine…

He discusses what is needed, his suggested approach before work is begun, and continues the discussion throughout the process. His staff is competent and friendly.
