The facility is comfortable and efficient. Staff is friendly. Technicians are knowledgeable. Dr. King explains the exam procedures and results so I can understand what is happening. I like that they respect my time. As a full time employee, I have very little extra time during the day. They get me in-and-out in a reasonable time. Highly recommend!

Clean and well organized office. The staff are very friendly and personable! Every step of the process was clearly communicated to me. The exam was straight forward and precise. I did not feel rushed at all. I feel confident that Doctor Kings office will continue to provide the excellent Custom service we have already seen. I would definitely recommend friends and family.

I’ve been a customer of Eyecare for years. My insurance changed and I had to go to a chain store. Service was ok but not what i was used to at Eyecare. I now have new insurance and I instantly went back to Eyecare. The staff is always very friendly and the exams are thorough. The office space is beautiful and in a great location.

Dr.King is fantastic. If I ever have an issue he goes above and beyond to help me. I recently had eye irritation, he got me an appointment within two hours, saw that it was an ulcer on my eye and got me a discount so I could get the medicine and start the treatment.I would recommend Dr. King and Eyecare center Irmo to everyone!

Very poor ethics! Hidden charges..... if a patient needs something and their insurance may not cover it, simply tell them. Don’t just tack it on and do it anyway. Communication is very simple! My family will be finding a new practice!

I really like how I felt comfortable with the doctor during consultations and check ups. However, I ordered contact lenses and they were available more than a month after. Also, the staff would tell me they would call me once the lenses were available, but never did. I had to make the follow up calls every time.

Found this Eyecare Center after relocating to Irmo. The staff was incredibly welcoming and professional, they made the transition to the new eye doctor quick and smooth. I was able to make an appointment the morning of - and was seen quickly. I appreciated the updated technologies and the usage of insurance. I will be utilizing this office while here!

I called to get an appointment and was fit in very quickly. The staff was helpful and very friendly. The Optometrist explained all the tests and the health of my eye. This was the most technologically advantage eye appointment I have ever had. They also have a really good selection of designer glasses. I highly recommend them 👌.

I really am trying to work with these people but it’s impossible. They messed up my prescription so my right eye is fine but I can’t see out of my left eye. I’ve called to speak with them multiple times and left multiple messages. They will not answer the phone or return my calls. They seem to have little care for the issues I’m experiencing and no urgency or desire to help. I’ve paid $700 for glasses that make my vision worse. If my issues get resolved I’m more than happy to amend this post, but until then I would not recommend that anyone go to this practice.

Usually I’m very satisfied with ECC irmo but today I am not. I had a 1:30 appointment, first one after lunch. I did not see the Dr. until 2:38! Walked out of the building at 3pm. Absurd.

I visited Eyecare Center Midlands because I was having trouble finding the right prescription for my contacts. At the end of the exam, I was given my trial pair of contacts and I told the optometrist my vision in them was worst than it was when I came in... his response Well I can put you back in your old prescription How does that solve my problem? I still couldnt see in those either. It turns out I have astigmatism but there was no desire to work with me to figure out what exactly was causing my issues. Thankfully I was able to find a DIFFERENT optometrist that helped me out!

I didn’t vet them before I went and the insurance company advised me to do so in the future! Having now seen the reviews I wouldn’t have made an appointment with them!
