I made an appointment online which was easy. I was shocked and pleased they were open on a Sunday. Every last person on staff this Sunday was amazing and took part in helping me find frames suitable for the look I was going for. The ladies were hilarious. The Dr. Jonathan was friendly, informative, and honest. Turns out my prescription didnt change and he advised me it was no need to spend money, which was much appreciated.

I had an eye exam on Thursday at the Sandhills location. This location has the most up to date equipment for doing a thorough exam. They took pictures of my eyes which the doctor showed to and discussed with me and answered all my questions in a very friendly and professional manner. Dr. Zuckerman was very helpful.

I told Dr. Zuckerman there was nothing wrong with my current rx, it was just expired. She did the exam and said she wanted to tweak things, so she fitted me for different lenses and wanted me to try them for a week. I am ok with that because she is the doctor and knows more than I do. When I tried the new lenses I couldnt see very well. I mentioned that the rx in my right eye was very different and she said Its not, but okay and rolled her eyes. When I told her I couldnt see well with the new rx she talked down to me like I was a child. I get migraines if I change my lens rx in the middle of the day, so I wanted to change into my original lenses and try the new ones in the morning. When I told her this, she got a really snarky attitude and said Just throw them away and walked away and didnt speak to me again. I will never, ever, ever set foot in this office again and Im sure she prefers it that way judging by her attitude. On the plus side, the tech was super nice and friendly.

I took my daughter to Eye Associates and yesterday in Sandhills and everyone was so nice and very knowledgeable. My daughter picked out her frames and they told me that they should be ready for pickup today.

Excellent experience! I have recommended this practice and this specific location to a number of friends and coworkers. One service I had questions about as some I referred had trouble with... for me personally they answered all my questions/concerns. I appreciated their patience as I could tell they had received quite a few questions about the same aspect of the service. I do highly recommend them!

I got right in for my eye exam at the designatated time and afterwards a young consultant made himself a able should I choose to buy my frames through their store. There was no high pressure sales and matter of fact just the opposite. He was kind enough to find the missing screw needed to repair my old glasses which was a saving Grace. When my husband ask him where people our age (60’s very early LOL) tended to find glasses they liked he took us right where we needed to be. Glasses were on sale and even though they didn’t ring up as such he over rode the system to ensure we got the best price. We plan to get his name when we return to write the President of the Company about this outstanding employee!!

Greeting welcome, covid precautions in place. Seen at appointed time. Pre-registration online. Excellent exam..Dr Erin explained everything to my understanding. Was able to also get my glasses adjusted.

Entire staff was very professional. You are greeted when you enter. Destiny exhibited excellent professional and customer service skills. The doctor did an excellent job explaining the exam results. The gentleman opened the door to make sure I got to my car. Overall very pleased with my visit.

Everything was good until I was picking my glasses. Mrs. Smith customer service skills are really bad, at one point I ask my self if she hate her job. She was really mean and with an attitude like she hate her life. The rest of the staff really nice but her not at all.

Dr. Walsh and her staff provided exceptional customer service. Everyone was cordial and covid conscious.

This was my first visit to this location. The staff provided great customer service. Dr. Walsh was very friendly and down to earth!

The service here is amazing! Everyone has a pleasant decorum, from the young lady (sorry im bad with names) that did the pre-exams, the doctor and even the associates that worked there. Dr. Walsh was extremely professional, kind and had an excellent demeanor about her. The exam was very quick, which is completely fine for me because it was thorough without the feeling of being rushed. Eye exams and dentists appointment are the 2 visits I dread going to yearly. So, the efficiency was much appreciated. Now, onto the Eye Associates of Columbia, they were just as fabulous. I had SEVERAL questions, and they answered every one of them. So patient, so kind and they got me the best deal on 2 pairs of glasses. My only regret was not learning their names, that was completely my fault, I have a terrible memory. Now, youre wondering why I gave 4 stars, that is because as I was looking at the breakdown of my eye exam charges, I noticed no adjustments were made. Now, I have been wearing glasses/contacts for several years, and know for a FACT that yearly eye exams are covered completely. This could be a slight oversight due to the fact that I fall under my husbands policy, and they probably didnt know to look under his name. Additionally, I verified with insurance the yearly exam coverage.

In lieu of dilating your eyes, they do this other procedure that is almost $50 that is outside of what insurance will cover. When asked if they could perform an eye exam without that, they refused. They require all patients to pay this mandatory charge.. We walked out.

Had an awesome exam experience! Everything was clearly explained to me, the technology used to do the exam was top notch, and everyone I interacted with was professional and made sure to explain the process/results in sufficient detail. I definitely felt adequately taken care of throughout the process and feel better informed after it. Would recommend!

My experience was very personable which made me feel comfortable with all of the staff. Dr. Powers answered all of my questions in the manner I was able to understand (non-clinical). Robin was able to get me in to see the doctor before my appointment (which was greatly appreciated). I want to thank the entire staff of Midland Eye Associates that took me into there care.

Great service and I was provided helpful information. I went to another eye center in 2017 to get my eye exam, and they failed to recognize that I had prisms in my glasses that helped my eyes to relax considering my job is in front of a computer all day. I came back here and the provider was able to tell me immediately that the glasses I got from them in 2014 still provided my eyes relief because of my prescription. The provider was very great and friendly.

The best part of Eye Associates of Columbia is their hospitality. You are made to feel welcome and that your experience in their office is important to them. In addition, when I found myself in a pinch --needing-- replacement contact lens, the staff made phone calls, and found the best place to order my contact lens at the best price (had used my vision insurance benefits). All of this with a smile and humor. I walked away feeling less stressed and with a smile as well.

Fastest & most informative eye exam ever

First time here. Loved it. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I look forward to my follow up visit. It was refreshing to see people here willing to take care of their customers.

As always, I had a great eye exam. The young lady who checked me in was very helpful and did a great job explaining the new eye test that can check for glaucoma. She documented everything we spoke about & it was a smooth transition when I saw the eye doctor. Ive never had a negative experience with eye exams when I come to LensCrafters.

Service was great! Dr Powers was friendly and informed me of every step he was doing during the exam. The ladies in the office were very detail oriented.

Great environment; everyone was wonderful. I was a little agitated from my wait for the doctor but once she came in that instantly went away because she actually took her time with me, explained everything to me, gave me the best advice and was all for helping save money if it was possible with home treatments or ect. So I completely understood the wait because if she did what she did for me took her time and answered all questions and explaining things I can respect a little waiting! The entire staff is friendly and helpful!!! I left 1 company to try them and have zero regrets in changing!

I brought my 5 year old daughter to get her annual eye exam. We arrived about 2 minutes early, and there was no wait. I filled out the brief paperwork, and we were allowed to begin her pre-screening very quickly. When that process was almost complete, I was told we would have to wait because the gentleman who had an appointment before us has arrived. Normally If someone is late for their appointment, the next appointment would be allowed to proceed, and that late appointment would have to wait. Now the gentleman who was late for his appointment skin contained very little melanin. Whereas, my daughter and I are melanin heavy. I didnt cause a scene because I didnt want to upset my daughter. I can honestly say that my family will not use this facility again.

I love Eye Associates of Columbia inside of LensCrafters! I have been coming to them for over 15 years. They are conveniently located in the Sandhills shopping center. The optometrists are very cordial and patient. Lenscrafters have a great selection of glasses and a great staff. I wouldnt want to buy my glasses or contacts from anywhere else.

On my last visit I saw Dr. Powers who was excellent. He was very thorough and cares about the health of my eyes and vision I highly Dr. Power.
