I got here when my appointment was. I waited what I thought was way too long. I think I was there for a total of 2 hours plus. Could have gone quicker. I ended up buying two pairs and a set of contacts. Price was more than what I wanted but Im blind so I got the thin lenses... Thats on me and everywhere you go... I enjoyed my experience.

I had an enjoyable experience. The staff was very friendly. I was in and out in about an hour and half on a busy Saturday. The staff was very nice. The eye doctor herself was very nice and straight to the point. They didnt really try to up sale me on anything. Which I enjoy, they werent very pushy. I will definitely be back when I need to. I got 2 pair of glasses (still waiting on them). They said I would get them in a 1-2 weeks.

First of all let me say this, I never write reviews...ever! In this case I feel I must share my most recent visit at Americas Best in Lexington. It was my first time at this location, and it was an excellent experience! Everyone wore masks and you must wear a mask to enter. The staff and doctor were all so friendly and helpful. My glasses fit my face exactly as they should, and the prescription was perfect. I was pleasantly surprised at the large selection of frames they offer, being that they are two pair for less than $70! I highly recommend this facility! :)

A HUGE thank you to the staff at this location. Eventhough it was my mistake not realizing that my medcial insurance DID cover glasses and Americas Best was NOT in-network, they were gracious enough to refund me my $300 and keep the glasses that were made for me. Thank you again ...this would have been a very expensive lesson.

Go somewhere else. Takes 2 weeks for contacts to arrive. There have been 2 problems with my contacts order. Poor customer service. No apology for any of the problems. Some of the employees don’t appear to care. I also ordered glasses which was a better experience. However, the employee helping me also had to answer the phone to schedule appointments while she was helping me even though there were other employees not currently helping customers. Definitely NOT America’s best……

Arrived for my appointment early. All of the exam rooms were empty. The staff proceeded to have me wait until my exact appointment time while they ate lunch in an office with the door open. Okay, that’s fine. I’ll wait until the EXACT minute of my appointment. Finally got my prescreening done and waited another 15-20 mins for the doctor! I understand and am always happy to wait BUT there was NO ONE in the office being seen ahead of me. I was waiting for them all to eat lunch! While I’m waiting to be seen, the doctor walks in the building so I guess he wasn’t even on-site during my appointment time and that’s why I had to wait. So rude and inconsiderate of peoples time. I will never go back and will advise everyone I know to stay away from this horribly ran medical office!!!!!!!

It was my first visit to your company. The young lady who helped me, Infiniti, was a blessing. Guys...her baby brother had just passed away on Saturday and shes at work on Monday to take her mind off things. And with a smile on her face no less. Now that didnt sway my decision to purchase from you guys because Id already left three other places. What did sway me was her professionalism, knowledge, and your great prices. My only, and I do mean only, complaint is that you guys dont carry enough rimless frames. Not everyone looks good or desires full frame glasses.And may I make a request...please as a company will you do something special for Infiniti? She so deserves it!!

The appointment went great, until I noticed I didnt have my written prescription because the girl was too lazy to write it down.. I forgot to ask for a DMV code to renew my license online. Ive called 7 times. No email. No code. They do not care. Also of the 7 times Ive called about it since the 11th I was placed on hold each time for up to 40 minutes. Shameful.

Horrible. First person I swear had no idea what they were doing. Then they lie about their promotion. 69$ For an exam and 2 glasses...yeah right! 140 for 1 pair... updateimagine a review can get worse well yeah it can! Nothing but incompetent people working there. I’ve been over a month on trial that’s not even my prescription. I’ve got an eye infection because of it! And I’m going to pursue legal action!

Do not ever contact me again. I wore a mask and was refused service because it wasnt a cloth mask to smother me, I have medical conditions, that make it to where I cannot wear those cloth mask. My mask cover my whole mouth and nose, it is made of plastic and my breath would not reach anyone. It is not a guard, it is a full mask just doesnt sit so tight but it does protect others and myself. So you just lost a customer and word mouth travels fast. Your corporate office rules cannot control what type of mask but it just lost you at least 10 customers. I was compliant in wearing a mask. I am glad I was refused service after reading your reviews.

Very professional and personable staff. They are taking covid-19 risk VERY seriously. Still they manage to make the entire experience as pleasant as possible. They certainly exceeded my expectations!Update: I later brought an 82 year-old to get a badly needed eye exam and glasses. He has several conditions associated with his age. I was extremely impressed with how well the doctor and staff accommodated him - even in the midst of all this covid-19 craziness. Whats more is he slept through his original appointment, but they very quickly rescheduled him.After reading other reviews - mostly negative, I must say this: If you opt for the eye imaging (which I definitely recommend), it will cost an additional $20. It is definitely worth it. Dr. Campbell (hope I got the name right) explained what he found so that I could understand. When I brought in the older gentleman, he explained also to me after the exam (with permission and because of memory issues) what his eye needs in the near future were and even suggestions of how to make it more affordable.As for the price of glasses, they start at $69.99 for 2 pair with free exam. Its a great deal, but if you want extras, of course it will cost. If you need bifocals, or something else, it will cost more. It adds up, but I dont feel like I was pressured into anything - everything was explained thoroughly. If you have questions - ask. Guaranteed you will get an honest answer - at least that was my experience. I cant say enough about the nice staff. Ive been wearing glasses and contacts for a long time and this truly was one of my best experiences. Dont take your frustrations about needing glasses out on the place that provides the service you need. Ive always been on a very tight budget, but your eye health is very important and can give clues to other medical conditions - thats definitely worth $20. 🙂

Worse place ever !!! I wouldn’t even waste my time making an appointment. They will call right before your appointment after you have taken off early to be there and cancel because the doctor is over booked ! FYI not my problem very unprofessional!!! They didn’t even try to accommodate me for tomorrow and it’s not my fault I had an appointment wasn’t a walk in . Once a patient is on our books at my office they are seen regardless of how overbooked we are. It’s not the patient fault the appointment was already booked ! Very professional and horrible customer service !

I arrived for my appointment which was at 1:15, they checked my temperature, and all together their COVID-19 precautions were excellent. The young adult, asked me what he could help me with, so I proceeded to tell him that I came in for an appointment scheduled for 1:15 pm. He then told me it was cancelled because I hadn’t confirmed it. I then told him that the day before my appointment they had sent me a text message to confirm it and even showed him the text messages in which I had confirmed it. Then, he told me that they kept on calling me for me to confirm it but in my call log I had 3 missed calls around 12:30 pm, the same day of my appointment, at that time I was driving so I couldn’t answer. So, then he told me if I could come later that same day and I don’t think that was fair because I drove 40 min for my eye appointment all the way from Gaston, just for him to tell me I no longer had an appointment scheduled.

If I could give zero stars I would. Literally the worst experience with eye exam and glasses Ive ever had. First off, they spelled my name wrong so they lost my chart. Then they got my prescription wrong for both my glasses and my contacts. Not only were they wrong, the prescription for my glasses and contacts werent even the same? How does that happen? So I had to get another eye exam which yielded a different prescription? How does THAT happen? I was told that the first time, my eyes were apparently working harder than they needed to. Great to know. Then they told me theyd send my glasses back and order new contacts with the new prescription, but the glasses were still wrong. Not even the same prescription as the contacts AGAIN. The lady that gave them to me said oh maybe thats how the doctor wanted them. Makes no sense. Then I went to go pick up my contacts after they called and said they were in, and they werent even mine. I apparently hadnt ordered them yet. I have had to wear broken glasses for over a month now and all I wanted was new glasses and an updated prescription. This is absolutely ridiculous. The only person that apologized and tried to actually help me was Sam. If it werent for him they would have seen a very ugly side of me.

The Dr for my exam was very unwelcoming, and it very nice. I was told when making my appointment that you were in network VSP. So the glasses would be much more expensive then I planned. Would not go back here.

I went in to see if I could get my glasses fixed. I was told I needed to get my temp taken due to Covid, ok that is fine, then I was asked about a MASK. I kindly responded that due to a medical reason & doctors orders I can not wear one. They asked me if I have a note (which I do but it’s for my employer) and I explained I do not have to share that with them due to it being a HIPAA violation. I was threatened with having Richland County called on me and the very unkind manager told to “Get Out of Her Store”. I told her she was ignorant and I would take my service and money elsewhere. I tried to be kind until the manager and another employee were extremely rude and tried to break a LAW. I will never recommend America’s Best, I will never give them another dollar and I will forever make sure people know how unkind they were.

Im absolutely disgusted by this business. I went in wanting to take advantage of their two pair+free exam offer, unfortunately that was not the case. I ordered two pair of glass and was charged nearly $400 for them. Not only that, but I was also lied to and tricked into an additional imaging for $20. Not a single one of the FOUR employees I spoke to, not a single person explain the offer they have and how it worked so I didnt end up in this mess. When I was told the imaging was $20+ I was not inform that the $20 would not come off with the free eye exam if you got the two pairs of glasses. You are pushed into buying upgrades for you glasses that tack on large amount to your price. Thankfully I was able to get a refund for the glasses but not for the $20 additional fee I was lied to about. The two doctors that assisted me were also so flat. They obviously wanted to get me in and out of there. Literally no customer service from them and god awful bedside manor (if you want to consider it that even though its not a hospital; youre still a patient). Lets not forget that they also didnt tell me I had to request my medical papers for my prescription, so I didnt get my prescription. When I called, the manager told me that she would mail the papers to me but then said she would just give them to my husband.... which she did not... so now I dont have my prescription. If you want terrible customer service, like to be deceived and also have your medical records illegally held from you, this is the place to go!

I went for a check up. I was very pleased with the precautions they took during covid. The only reason I’m leaving three stars is I was unimpressed with the doctor. I was taken to be seen and I feltIncredibly rushed durning the process. I even voiced a concern about light sensitivity that has progressively gotten worse. I told him I wear sunglasses but still have the sensitivity that is so rough I have to pull over on the side of the road until they stop watering and I can see again. He brushed it off and said you need glasses and wear sunglasses. If he had been listening he would have heard I am already wearing glasses and using sunglasses.....The rest of the staff was amazing and made my experience what I expected from America’s Best.

This is by far the best place for you and your eyes. I went in today at 4:30pm and was met with awesome smiles, it was clean, everyone was friendly, helpful, energetic, and very customer service oriented! I first met Sharon where she remembered me from coming in before just to get a box of contacts. She signed me in for a new eye exam and she was amazingly sweet and helpful. Then I met with Lauren one of the technician again another sweet and helpful employee that treated me like family. Then I saw Dr. Campbell which took the time to make sure I could see more clearly and explained everything on a level I could understand. Then the sales ladies Kelli and Sandra were over the top helpful and nice. Again 5 star customer service for these 2 ladies! They took their time and explained everything I needed! Lastly, I was honored to get to spend a few minutes chatting with the General Manager Sybil that was the coolest and a very hard working lady that took pride in her staff and pride in her every customers needs! I can’t express how pleased and blessed I am to meet all of these employees. The customer service is by far the best experience in a doctors office/eye doctor office I have ever had! I literally only waiting 5 minutes at most between part of the visit. This place is on point and on a side note they made me leave with confidence with myself and a smile on face! This place is on point!!! If you want to experience a fun, friendly, family oriented, customer service oriented, energetic, clean, etc. environment then start going here because they will not let you down on your needs and wants!!

The doc was super courteous and patient with me as I had to look at different slides several times before I could decide which one was better, lol! Once done with my exam, Kelli helped me pick out frames & options to make the best of my Humana Medicare Vision benefits of $500 (yes, I typed it correctly - my vision benefit was $500!!), which got me a pretty pink frame (I had planned to just keep my current rose gold metal frames, but with my impressive benefit it made more sense to get a whole new pair & use current ones as my backup/emergency glasses), Progressive BiFocal lenses, anti-scratch protection, anti-reflection coating, Transitions sun/UV ray protection, & the 1yr replacement plan... All that & my part was just $40!! Kelli never pressured me to get ANY options, she just patiently explained my benefits & all the options available. Would give them 10 stars if I could, the personable customer service offsets the couple of weeks it takes them to make your new glasses!

Any questions I asked were answered. Love my contacts literally don’t know what I’d do without them. Joining their eye care club is the best deal.

I dont understand the negative reviews. I went today, and I appreciated the way they took my temperature. They were very professional and I found a great pair of frames. The two for 69 and all the other specials are things that you aee at all places. But if you want progressive lenses or anything else, you should know that it costs extra.

NO PROFESSIONALISM. Terrible. No customer service or patient care at all. The heavy set African American doctor is very cold and rushed through the eye exam. I understand that they may be busy but each paying customer deserves a thorough eye exam. Then I get to Sandra and she has absolutely no customer service skills and again very cold. She forgets to bring my trial pair of contacts. Then just hands them to me not even leading me to the contact station so I can wash my hands and put them in. Just hands them to me in the area at the front where you pay. She didn’t even ask how they feel. Another patient comes in the door who she clearly knew instead of her saying let me finish with this customer or tell her to go to registration she takes the woman’s glasses and starts a conversation with her while I’m sitting there. So I’m just sitting there waiting for her to finish her conversation. Don’t bother or waste your time money or insurance on this location. They need a complete overhaul from top to bottom. I will never visit another America’s Best. I’ll go back to Walmart.

I brought my daughter to a appointment at this location on a Saturday which was a big mistake it was alot of back and forth and the wait times were longer then usual I guess it depends on location ... What I mean by back and forth you get the exam sit back in the chairs, see the doctor and sit back in the chair, pick your glasses and sit back in the chairs they should have a better system of operation especially during Covid

My experience was not the best at all. The optometrist that I got was rushing through the whole procedure like she was in the biggest rush. I get that it’s 6 pm and you’d like to be at home resting. But come on at least have some discretion about your attitude. Made me so nervous that I didn’t even know whether to take my time choosing my options or just say whatever came to me first. Then! She was getting mad at me! For closing my eyes while she was shining the brightest light in my eyes! when I had specifically told her that I was very sensitive to light and had a headache at the moment. To be honest, I don’t think I’ll be coming back. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, but just goes to show you the type of customer service they provide. Will not recommend any friends or family to go here.

I have gotten the worst glasses here I have had to take the to the store 3 times to get them fixed. The lance keeps popping out of them and the other one lost its nose peace. My husband had had the same problems with his dad well. What makes me mad is I paid for the insurance to have them replaced and they have yet to do that. They make me drive 45 miles to the store to fix them which is a quick fix until the glass pops out again. And dont believe the advertising its not true I paid 260 for my glasses and so did my husband.

During the covid-19 pandemic I scheduled eye exams for me and my Girl friend on Friday June 5, 2020. We were told only one appointment per 1, so they were scheduled for 2:40 and 3:40 the day of. We were told because we were a couple we could both come for the first scheduled appointment time together and knock them both out at once.P.S- I’ve gone here yearly for eye exams for Atleast 5 years.I got there at 2:30 and upon arrival I was told I was to early and a moment later senior citizen walked in off the street and was welcomed in to view glasses. 3 more people shortly followed us in for appointment. We all waited for over an hour before a doctor even showed up.When I complained about the number of visitors asked to reschedule at 3:30 because me and my girlfriend had not been called back yet for my exam the woman insisted that my appointments were later than previously scheduled. She took a nasty tone with me when I told her there must have been a miscommunication. She told me that our appointment times were 2:50 and 3:10. (NOT EVEN AN HOUR APART!)she continued that “a doctor was even scheduled that day, but he came in anyway for you people”.......after having scheduled 5 people for eye exams within 45 mintues....She asked me very loudly and rudely, “look, do you want to reschedule or not!?”. I paused and eventually I said no and turned to leave when she said very loudly “l’m sick of these people today.”....A person who works in the customer service industry smh

They focus more on forcing the additional test on you then good customer service. I told them that I just had the other test done a few months ago elsewhere and they still acted rude towards me for not getting it done with then. The older lady that sees toy before the doctor was rude and then the doctor tried pushing the test on me again...rude service and the wait was crazy! They are not organized and the talk about employees issues in front of the patients. I didnt like the place at all but I went through with it because I waited so long and I needed my eye exam... ps the 2 for whatever does not apply if you are using your insurance...RIP OFFS.... I will not recommend them nor will I ever go there again after I pick up my package/RX

Came in and needed help with the glasses I bought from them that had smthe lenses falling apart even though I only wear them at night when I take my contacts out. Initially they said they would help and be happy to assist me with getting a new pair if I needed. They said to go look around at some glasses and they’d be right with me. I picked everything out and waited and waited and waited as they helped everyone else in the store except for me. Waited for a half an hour looking at glasses to be completely ignored and walked past. I figured now that most everyone had left, they’d come and help me. That never happened and I left. I was ready to buy two pairs of glasses and order some new contact. After having memberships with them for 8 years now, I don’t think I’ll go back.

Horrible experience! I called to make sure they took both of my insurances and to make sure I could be seen for contacts, they said yes they do didn’t bother to tell me it’s out of network. I was there for over an hour having my exam until I got to sit down and go over the glasses and let her know I was also wa ting contacts. Kelli then told me the contact exam is $80 and my insurance is out of network so I’d have a copay along with paying more for the glasses. Kelli was rude and argued they wouldn’t have said that. I’ll be going elsewhere from now on. My time was wasted here and I felt like they were more concerned with herding me through.

They dont deserve any stars. My experience was terrible. This was my first visit to a eye doctor. I had an exam and purchase two pair glasses for about 250. It took a week and half. They didnt come in on same day. Picked them up and my vision was worse with them on. I called them they said keep them on for about 2 week. My head was hurting so bad from the glasses being to strong. I was vomiting as a result of this. I called again they said come in and I did. When I got there and told them what was going on they said I need to schedule an appointment for another exam. When I returned they couldnt find my file at first. The doctor saw me and explain that I basically had reading glasses. He also said I can get progressive. I said if all I wanted was reading glasses I could have bought from the dollar store. Long story short DONT GO TO AMERICA BEST THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR VISION! THEY CARE ABOUT MONEY. I DID GO SOME PLACE ELSE TO GET MY GLASSES THE CORRECT WAY. AB DID WANT TO GIVE ME MY FULL PRESCRIPTION or my money back for glasses.

I’ve been going to America’s Best on Harbison since 2016. At first they were wonderful. I paid to be in the eye care club to get glasses and contacts at a lower price since I don’t have vision insurance. I ordered two pairs of glasses at the end of January and the girl helping me place my order didn’t give me a time frame for when they would be in. In fact she didn’t listen to me hardly at all while she paid attention to someone else in the store showing off their new baby. After 12 days, I called to check on my glasses. Someone asked for my name and birthdate, then I was left on hold for 10 mins just to have someone come to the phone and restart the entire process of “what’s your name? When did you order them?”. My glasses hadn’t arrived yet, but they assured me I would get a call when they were ready for pickup. I gave her my number to put in the computer for them to call. I called them again after 18 days and still no phone call. The girl who helped me told me my glasses were ready for pickup. When I asked what day they arrived, she said “oh I don’t know.” Then insisted they had called the number on file. When I asked what number they called it was some number I had never heard of entered into my profile in place of my cell phone number. I feel very let down by the service offered at America’s Best. Will not be a returning customer after the last run around I went through.

Over an hour after my stated appointment time I still have not been seen. Several people were in the same position. Staff were rude to me when I pointed out that I had a commitment that I had to make within the next hour, and would like to be seen by the doctor quickly.

Today, I was called in the pre-exam room and the lady tell me my exam is not due until Aug. She ask did I want to just purchase contacts and schedule exam for August, I said yes. I waited about 30 to 40 minutes only for the lady to tell me she looked at the chart wrong and my prescription was expired.The Doctors were gone and it was closing time. Wasted of time and gas and I have to return tomorrow morning to sit and wait all over again.

The Dr. was very nice but the staff needs to be trained more on how to handle insurances and fill out paperwork for customers.I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt and maybe it was just a lack of training however, i probably wont be coming back and will not recommend this place to anyone either.I agree with some of the other reviews that it takes along time to get service and get out and that needs improvement.

Staff was rude, not helpful and we were told they didn’t have time to fit contacts, dr told us we would leave with our contacts as long as the prescription was something they had in stock... the front staff had a leader who was rude and insisted we wouldn’t be getting the required training bc they were to busy and short staffed. We had an appointment and we were pushed out the door without knowledge of when we would receive anything we were charged for ..... very rude and disrespectful!!! we will get our glasses soon and will NEVER go to the America’s best off of Harbison blvd again!

For me, only place I get my contacts. Staff members are friendly and professional. I made an appointment and I was fifteen minutes late, so the doctor went to lunch, but I was able to reschedule for a few days later. Be punctual and hopefully, you will have no problems with this place.

Quick, easy, cheap. Was in and out for an eye appointment for glasses within 35 minutes. They asked if I wanted extra stuff but you just say no and they dont bother you, they just have. Was able to get 2 pairs of cute glasses plus exam for $70. Will be coming back.

A Co-worker referred me to Americas Best as I have never heard of this eye center. I was well pleased with my experience. My apt time was 5pm and I arrived around 4:50PM. I completed all the Pre-testing, saw the Doctor purchased my contacts and was out by 5:25PM. I hope all my future visits will be as pleasant as this one.

Worst experience and will never return here again. I’ve come here since childhood and it has been miserable. Overpriced with hidden fees for even the most basic of things. They encourage you to make an appointment online, then have you wait around for 30 minutes for pre-exam. And an hour after my actual appointment I was finally able to see a doctor. This is the biggest inconvenience. Very poor customer service and zero effort at service recovery. This branch should close their doors because they are not meeting the expectations of anyone.

Ive been coming here for 10+ years. The past 4 times have been horrible. I never get a call stating that my glasses or contacts are at the store. I took my sister here 2 weeks ago and I still havent gotten a call saying her glasses were ready. The employees act like its extra work to go and check and see if the glasses came in. Im tired of the attitudes every single time. My sister likes the ran bans and she wanted to try them on. Geez trying to find an employee to unlock them took 20 minutes. Once my eye care club ends Im moving my family to another optometrist.

I feel like the doctor literally spent under 2 minutes with me. I felt immensely uneasy ordering my glasses because I didnt feel like my prescription would be right. I have been to Americas Best in Greenville TWICE and this is why Ive always come back. After today, Im not sure I will be. I am a teacher and need glasses that I know are right and that I can depend on.

Worst for customer service. We showed up on a Monday, around noon, and were informed the first appointment availability was 3:10 pm. We returned at 3:10, and waited 35 minutes without being seen. From the waiting room, we could see the doctors stalling, not seeing anyone else during an extended lunch break. If you value your time, go elsewhere.

Unprofessional. The doctors were out of the office at both locations attending a conference in Chicago. I drive a commercial truck and am required to have corrective lenses. One of my contacts ripped and I was left with clear vision in only one eye. I have glasses on order but they will not be in for days. In the past, I was able to buy a more contacts to get me back on the road but apparently my prescription just expired. This wouldnt normally be a problem because I could just get an exam that day but today all of their doctors are out. So after years of being a customer, I took my business elsewhere. I can not see a reason to come back.

My daughter still cannot see the board at school even with her new glasses, and my contacts took FOREVER to get in. It was such a waste of money. I regret spending any money there at all. I was having a hard time seeing at work and wouldnt be able to get to my normal doctor in enough time so I was recommended by a co-worker to go to Americas Best.Well, the exam isnt a free, full exam when you purchase the two pair for 69.99.They ask you to sign a waiver stating if you want your eyes dilated or not. I signed stating that I wanted to have my eyes dilated, but no one ever dilated them. I was there for a very long time, and there werent many people in the office during my visit.I was told that I would receive two calls; The first when my new glasses left the lab or whatever, and were on their way to the store, and a second call once they arrived in the store. I was also told that it would take 7-10 business days. I visited this location I believe 2 weeks ago, and I havent received a call yet. I called the office today, and Ive been on hold, as of now for 18 minutes and 52 seconds....I guess because I couldnt get in to my normal doctor in decent time, this had to do but I will never again return, nor would I recommend this business to anyone unless it is simply a last option.

After two different visits, and having to cancel my appointment both times I will not be returning. Both this year (2019) and last (2018) Ive made an appointment only to show up early as asked, completed the paperwork as asked, just to sit around for 40 minutes and not get spoken to. I find it highly unprofessional to run a business where you are an hour plus behind all day everyday. Both times Ive come in Ive had to walk away due to delay in being seen. They do things in three stages, pre-exam, exam, and then getting your frams/contacts. I waited 40 minutes PAST my appointment time despite being early before canceling and I hadnt even been called in for the Pre-exam. Best I could tell there was still at least two if not three people ahead of me still. And just based on observation the pre-exam room was moving considerably fast than the exam room. I sat next to a woman that said she had been there almost an hour and a half and had just come out of the pre-exam room... thats when I decided to cancel and go else where.

I would not come here. They say they have good deals for contacts and eyewear... maybe true if youre willing to spend over 100 + for an exam and said contacts/eye wear. Also will not give any info to the patient. along with stating you HAVE to order ONLINE for contacts. I have never had an issue with getting my contacts/frames from the actual eye place. nor have i ever been told as a patient they can not give me MY info over the phone. They seem to be a hassle.

I had the worst experience I have EVER had and an optometry office here this past Saturday. If I could give negative stars I would. Everything went wrong!! I originally two years ago went to the one on forest drive and it was nice, so thought this one would be ok despite the 2 stars. I was terribly wrong and this has ruined me from ever going to another one again. It was so bad I left during check out (with their permisson) bc I was so upset to go only 5 minutes down the rd to Stanton optical and was so glad I did!! MULTIPLE things went wrong, but Ill only mention the most concerning to save writing a chapter book. The resident they have working there (justin, who has only been here for his residency for 1 yr. Fresh out of school) is beyond nice, however I highly doubt his work. He only checked my eyes for what felt like 5 minutes, flipped only two slides to check the strength I needed. Out of the only two he showed me they were both still very blurry. I was calling off numbers each time bc I couldnt see and he kept saying there are no numbers only letters. He still wrote me a prescription ensuring me Im good with -5.50 and the other was worst I believe around -5.75. I know my eyes did not get that bad! I even questioned the general manager after he was done expressing my concerns all while shes ensuring me the new equipment they got in last week did all the work he didnt do in the exam and hes good at was he does etc. Fast foward, at Stanton the wonderful Dr who has been practicing for over a decade did my exam and I was so satisfied. Like I thought, my eyes only worsened .25 on each eye bringing me to -4.75. He was very thorough and I will be returning there from now on. I should have listened to the reviews. I completely see why they only have 2 stars! These people do not care about you or any of your concerns. Save your money for a business that does.

Lousy experience! I got 2 pairs of eye glasses. One pair of no line bifocals and one pair of regular prescription sunglasses...$421.00!!That wasnt the bad part..I went in when they called me to pick them up to have them fitted for my face and the lady adjusts them. I told her they were still too big. She said Id just have to get used to them. They fall down when I look down and are way too big (wide)on the sides of my face. For $400, I would have expected a little better service. You can bet Ill never step foot in there again!!😠

Had eye exam in October. He bumped up my strength after viewing/comparing just 2 or 3 lenses. No measurements of eye taken. Id say the whole exam included about 2 or 3 minutes.Now yesterday I needed to pick up my eye prescription so I could get contacts. I look at the paper and it shows -7.0 in one eye and -7.5 in the other. I told the person helping me that this didnt sound right. She says as long as your trial lenses were fine, youre okay. I have never had two different powers in each eye. So I go back to the store. They pulled my physical paper work and it had me down for -7.5 in each eye. I know damn well Justin Campbell handed me -8.5 contacts last time, not -7.5, but I just took what I could get. My proscription also listed a diameter or 14.2, when I know its 14! He didnt even measure my eyes!The only reason I gave 2 stars is because the manager was polite and gave me 1 free trial pair to hold me over. The older woman who pulled my physical paperwork was pleasant and helpful too.The other two employees at the check in counter didnt want me there, and they didnt want to be there doing their job. The things they were saying, body language and facial expressions made that very clear.-Here I am weeks later trying to get the correct diameter and power on my prescription. Scheduled a 2:15 appointment - still sitting in the lobby at 2:55. Why the hell did I make an appointment? Harbison Medical Associates isnt even this bad!
