Dr Lucas Castillo and staff are amazing! If you would like a dentist who does not run you through like cattle, look no further. Convenient West-side location. Very clean and inviting office. Dr Lucas takes the time needed to make you feel welcomed and clearly informed you of the procedure. I have received urgent attention for a broken tooth and have been twice for cleaning—always a pleasant experience. Highly recommended.

Beautiful office, awesome location, and literally the best team ever. Very knowledgeable, skilled, and personable- they do a phenomenal job every time. Where they stand out miles (hundreds of miles) above the rest is that they truly do care. I am incredibly hesitant and nervous about dental work and when it comes to emotions/phobias like this, they absolutely do not take a one size fits all approach. They take the time to fully understand your apprehensions to be able to provide the best personalized care possible. Because of them, I am no longer dodging dental care, and my oral health is finally on point, which everyone knows leads to much better overall health and quality of life. Anyone living in manitou looking for a great dentist with easy access should give this place a try. It’s a brand new facility with great equipment and super friendly staff. Dr. Lucas recently replaced my crown and did a perfect job. But more important for me, he took the time to explain the whole process and answer all my questions. He never acts rushed and takes his time with each patient.

Dr. Lucas is a great dentist and it shows through his work. He not only cares about his patients teeth but also how they are doing in general. He is very open and honest. Today I had the best experience with my 6 year old daughter with Dental Care at Red Rock Canyon. Dr. Castillo and Kelsey, were both so patient and understanding during the whole procedure. 7 pm on a Friday night...My crown pops out. Yikes! Knowing it is not a life and death emergency, but not wanting to wait long to get it back in, we started calling Dentists first thing Saturday morning to get it put back in.Only one dentist office answered their phone, and they were booked until Thursday. No offer of waiting list, no accommodation for emergency treatments.Thankfully, Dr Lucas called us back and said, are you in pain, are you alright?He said he would get us in first thing Monday, unless I was hurting and then he would meet us at the office as soon as we could make it on Saturday.We made an appointment for first thing Monday, he asked us to do the paperwork online before we got there so he could work on my tooth right away and he was amazing.So is Ashly his assistant. She called to verify my appointment first thing Monday and to let us know they had received the paperwork.Dr Lucas is kind, sensitive, gentle and fixed me right up, and my crown too! He is the ultimate in caring, compassion and positivity you want in a dentist.We had just moved back to Colorado Springs and found out my previous dentist had retired so we NEEDED a new dentist.It will definitely be Dr Lucas Castillo at Dental Care at Red Rock Canyon.He is less than a mile from our home and conveniently located right between Manitou and Old Colorado City on Colorado Ave.He is a gem! Knowing he will do emergency treatments after hours and on weekends brings a sense of relief and a knowing that he truly cares about his patients.If you need a new dentist or are looking for a change of dentists, look no more! The last two dentists Ive used both pulled insurance scams on me claiming my work would be covered only to charge me more after and the good dentists explained to me that the worst of these offenders certainly knew the work wouldnt be covered, because as Dr. Castillo told me, in house crowns are never covered.I am very happy with my experience and look forward to getting more work done here in the near future, and if you are looking for a good dentist you can trust you have found a great place. What a wonderful experience! Children are often afraid of going to the dentist (particularly new ones). Everyone at this office put extra effort in making our daughter feel at ease. They explained everything to her in terms she could easily understand. They also allowed her to watch a movie which kept her distracted most of the time.For us as parents, the experience was amazing because we were able to sit in the room and watch. But even more amazing was all the new updated technology. X-RAYS and high resolution photos that were just taken were made available on a large screen so we all could see the amazing work done.Dr Lucas is a very personable dentist. Very friendly and easy to talk to. This is a top notch dental facility he has put together. We strongly recommend Dental Care at Red Rocks Canyon for everyone.

The care at Dental Care at Red Rock is very transparent and in depth. I’ve had a few dentists in Colorado Springs, and Dr. Castillo was by far the most thorough and complete. Initially, I went in for a cleaning and ended up re-filling an old cavity that was probably 20+ years old and was initially done by another dentist out of state. The procedure went very well and with no discomfort. Dr. Castillo explained the process and steps along the way! Highly recommend.

I found them through Groupon. I usually hate going to the dentist but I’m glad I found these guys. They were really friendly and tried to put me at ease. I had a retainer, and 3 fillings done. The environment is ridiculously clean and modern. I basically didnt feel a thing during the fillings, and my teeth looked in incredible afterwards. If you are new to the Springs, or simply looking for a new dentist, like I am, then you should go here. Also very reasonable pricing.

They told me to come on in even though they were already closed for the day. On a Sunday! Very friendly and professional. Turned out I needed to o be referred to a specialist for a root canal. The dentist called me from the specialist office Monday morning. He stopped by on his way to work and arranged my appointment! I call that going above and beyond.

Dr Castillo and his assistants AJ and Noehly are incredibly kind, patient and dedicated. My 75 year old mom is having major work done, involving multiple visits and several hours in the chair. She is nervous and afraid, but the Red Rock staff handles everything perfectly. From the beautiful office to the nice music and TV screens showing soothing images, all is going very well. Mom didn’t have dental insurance so their in-house plan worked perfectly for us. Our family is so happy to have found Dr Castillo and we highly recommend him!

Wanted to post a review on Dental Care at Red Rock Canyon.I originally choose this office due to the close proximity to Manitou Springs as there are no Dentist in Manitou. This is also a very convenient location for people living on the West Side of Old Colorado Springs.So wanting to inform the general public living close to this vicinity that my experience with Dr. Lucas was impressive. He is very laid back and easy going and their is no sense of being pressured into anything. He very openly discussed my options. Even the option of doing nothing. With nifty image technology he was ably to deliver a very informative picture of what was going on in my mouth (tooth) and this lended me a very good understanding of my situation and confidence to move forward.Having a number of procedures over the last several years to compare to, I felt Dr. Lucas was highly skilled. The procedure was quick considering a crown prep and probably the most comfortable experience I have had to date. Could be the tooth position here but none the less I hate going to the Dentist and Dr Lucas and his wonderful assistant provided an easy going pain free experience.Thanks.

Dr. Lucas and Noehly were fantastic. I’m so glad my mom told me about them. I’ve avoided going to the dentist for so many years because of a previous bad experience. Dr. Lucas was compassionate and understanding of my fears. Proactively offered laughing gas instead of Novocain (but said I could have both if needed). The visit was fast and smooth. Noehly even gave me a warm towel with what smelled like essential oils on it afterwards to clean up my face! Whaaaat? That’s a first for sure. I’m happy to say this is my first time leaving the dentist not completely miserable and dreading my next visit❤️
