Ive been going to Dr. John Clark for my eyeglass and contact lens exams since I was a teen. Im in my 30s now and still continue to come back to him. Being a military wife has taken me to other states and cities, Ive met many other optometrists but hes by far the best Ive ever met. With Tricare Prime insurance my copay is very low for both exams. Every time I come to San Diego and if its time for my exam I make sure to stop by. He takes walk-ins.

This will be my last order for contacts at Walmart. I went last week to order contacts, and told the lady who was helping me that the contacts were causing redness/discomfort in my eyes from the new Bausch Lomb brand, so I requested my old brand. She said they expired and it would be too complicated to see the Dr to get that changed...since I really needed contacts for a special occasion, I just ordered another supply of the newer brand hoping it wouldnt happen again. I just called today Oct. 16th on my day off (one week later), asking what the status was on my order since Ill be in the area, and would like to pick them up. The lady put me on hold for 10 minutes. I finally hung up and called back politely letting them know why I called, and wanted to make sure they didnt forget about me. Without asking for my name or anything, she said, give me a second. Over 20 minutes have gone by and Im STILL on hold. Its the little things in customer service that make a big difference.
