Yesterday, I had an appointment at Compass Dental. I was an uncertain, uneasy new patient. My former dentist of many, many years retired. He recommended this practice. Most people do not like to make changes, but sadly I had no choice. However, Id like to say that I was completely satisfied. The entire staff was welcoming, friendly, and compassionate, putting me at ease. The office was clean and organized and run with efficiency and great teamwork. I was very pleased with and had much confidence in the dentist. So, to sum it up, this was an excellent experience and I feel fortunate to have found this dental practice. I arrived uneasy and left assured.

Im a brand new client. I came in and was immediately greeted by a super friendly staff, even the dentist! The waiting area is very comfortable with soft leather chairs, not hard clinical feeling ones. I came in for a routine checkup and cleaning. Everything was easy. I didnt feel like I was being upsold. They explained everything for me even though I asked the same questions over and over again. Im pretty happy so far! Excellent staff and quality service. Really good parking in the front, too.

I went to get my wisdom teeth taken out and everyone was amazing. The front desk Ms. Patty was very kind. As for the dentist he was very gentle and made me feel very comfortable with the whole procedure. Everything went very smoothly and answered any questions I had. I’m so glad I came here. 😊

Dr. Fairbanks was great! Super personable and caring when it came to my comfort during my cleaning. The cleaning was a breeze and I never felt any pain. Will definitely be back in six months!

Excellent service, approachable staff and knowledgable dentist - Kyle Fairbanks.My tooth was hurting badly last Sat and the Lakeview location wasnt able to see me. They quickly called and found that Kyle was available, but I needed to go to Rogers Park.I went in for a quick consultation and from the x-ray, it was clear that I needed a root canal. Yes, like many others, my heart sank when I heard that. Kyle was extremely patient and explained the procedure well and assured me that everything would be ok.However, because root canal takes anywhere from 60mins to 90mins, he wasnt able to give me the care i deserve on that day (it was a sat) and he was fully booked. But he is available on monday bright and early.When I get there on monday, the staff was extremely friendly and reassuring. I had a 1million questions, mostly around why did it occur, is it gonna be painful... Kyle and his staff (Fran?) patiently walked me through the steps and answered all my questions.The procedure went well and im now at home recovering. I cannot recommend Kyle more because he is genuine, patient and skillful -- all you can ever ask from a dentist.And Kyle even called a few days later to check in and ask how Im feeling.
