Dr. McDonald has been great! She was recommended by a friend after a not so good experience with another gyno. She thoroughly explained all of my options and made me feel extremely comfortable about the choices presented.

The online preregistration was efficient and convenient. The front desk staff was welcoming when I arrived, as directed, 15-minutes ahead of my scheduled time since I was a new patient. A nurse, Michelle, came to escort me to the examination room 19-minutes after my appointment time and thats the only reason Im removing a star. In essence I was sitting there waiting for 30-minutes since check-in took less than a minute. I give half a star back because the doctor apologized for my wait and seemed very sincere. While 19-minutes isnt all that long for a doctors office, I reserve 5-star ratings for those where Im actively being seen within 15-minutes. Anyway, Michelle was professional, full of smiles and she was sensitive in her approach while reviewing my medical history. Dr. Goodall was phenomenal. She spent a couple of minutes clarifying anything she saw on my record and to understand why I was there. She was very thorough and made observations that were consistent with things that my previous gynecologist (now retired) previously told me. While Dr. Goodall was very focused, she was also very human and we laughed a few times during my visit. She questioned things that needed to be questioned, she provided guidance on minor concerns and completely addressed anything that was on my mind. I highly recommend this doctor and the practice.

I was astonished at the wait time, less than 5 mins. I literally sat down and stood back up. Wait time in doctors office was impressive as well being first time patient. Less than 10 mins. Dr. McDonald was refreshing! It was a pleasure meeting her. Her suggestion for genetic testing was a first for me to have a doctor make that suggestion after giving basic family history. I truly look forward to having her as my physician. My only negative is the office is downtown. I prefer not to navigate the traffic and pay garage parking fee

Dr. Mcdonald is very kind, helpful and supportive. I saw her throughout my pregnancy, delivered my baby. It was very calming and reassuring to have her deliver my baby, it was such a great and special experience thanks to her, Im endlessly grateful and happy, would recommend her to any woman and will come back myself when were ready for our second baby!

I have had a pretty terrible experience with Womens Health Consulting. I will start by saying that the doctors I have seen have been professional and helpful, however the staff and communication are absolutely horrible.It takes at least a week to get a call back (this has happened to me multiple times as well as another patient I know, who went through a high risk pregnancy with this office).The final straw for me was when Dr. Rubins medical assistant finally called me back (a week after getting blood drawn), to tell me I needed to get tested again, because my numbers were low. She wouldnt give me any additional information about what numbers, etc. and said that you wouldnt understand when I pressed her further for numbers. This was so unprofessional, condescending, and downright wrong to not explain MY health to me. Thankfully, I was able to call another doctor, who will be my new OBGYN, and their office was so helpful and nice, calling me back the same day, not a week later.Going to the OBGYN is uncomfortable enough, they shouldnt make it more stressful and anxiety inducing by not calling you back/not following up with test results. They dont seem to have a problem calling when you owe them money...Strongly recommend avoiding this office, mostly due to the front desk staff and medical assistants attitudes and behavior.

I am an older female over 50, however, I am looking forward to the Doctor/Patient relationship that will be formed, as I continue to have her as my doctor.

She has terrific bedside manner, a sparkling personality, an extensive background, stellar education and experience, and is a joy to be around. I have been going here for at least five years and just recently had my baby with their help. Ive seen all three obstetrics doctors and love them all. Dr. McDonald was the on-call doctor during my delivery and I have nothing but great things to say about her. Anyone would be lucky to have her as your ob during delivery. She explained everything and my options after a few complications during labor. Her bedside manner is fantastic, I would pick her every time if it was up to me who the on-call doctor is whenever I have baby number 2.

Was directed here by referral, only could not get in to see the doctor that was recommended. I was told they were all colleagues, so seeing one was like seeing any of them, as they all collaborated and discussed patients before diagnosis. Concerned about an issue, I discussed with the doctor, and was recommended to have an ultrasound - which I then received a bill for as it wasnt covered by my insurance. What I never received? The results. I spent weeks calling, leaving messages for the doctor which she finally returned, only to tell me she wanted to discuss her findings with her colleagues and then would get back to me with results - this never happened. I requested my records be sent to a different doctor, one who would take the time to follow up with me - and the request to forward the records has so far not been responded to. Maybe this is a great practice for some - not for me.

Dr. Wendy is the best!. She listened to my issues and eased my fears. She made a somewhat uncomfortable experience very comfortable. l felt like a human and not a number and thats very important to me.

Wait time is absolutely horrible and the staff is snippy! Horrible. I won’t be back.

Ive been a patient/client for more than 10 years. The care is excellent, even through my transition to another doctor once my longtime doctor retired. I would agree that the reception when checking in could be improved by better attitudes, however the office manager is awesome.

I love this practice and I wouldn’t go anywhere else! The doctors are all amazing and have wonderful bedside manner.

I was a patient for several years before moving to a different state. Dr. Rubin was amazing and the nurses and office staff were always kind and efficient. I had seen multiple specialists prior to her, all of whom blamed my symptoms on stress rather than looking deeper for the actual cause. She diagnosed and treated me right away. If my current insurance spanned states, I would seriously fly back to Chicago annually to see her. I cannot recommend them enough.

Love this place. The doctors are caring and the staff is usually quick to respond. Dr. McDonald is funny, patient, reassuring, and cares for you as if you were her family member. I moved to Chicago 9months pregnant looking for a doctor and I couldnt have been luckier to get into this practice. If you want a group who is flexible, accomplished, and knowledgeable. This is the place.

Its understandable to be placed on hold but to be left hold hold every single time I call for 10 minutes at a time?? I think not! The staff here really brings the office character down...

I absolutely love that I found this place. Dr.Rubin and her assistant Annie are amazing. Dr.Rubin delivered my healthy baby girl and i could not be most pleased. She is kind,patient, and personal. All the staff across the board are amazing, I have yet to run into a bad experience. We all have our bad days but I think with the volume of patients they have they manage well .

I was referred by a friend and couldn’t have been happier that I chose to go here throughout my pregnancy and have the doctors here deliver my first and second baby! Everyone from this office has been incredibly helpful and informative throughout the whole process! Would highly recommend them!

Never had an issue with the front desk, dr is attentive friendly, care was personalized. Glad to have found this place. Not concerned with waiting times, medical appointments are like that no matter where you go, its expected.

Dr. Rubin delivered both of my children. She was absolutely wonderful - professional and focused, but also friendly and reassuring. I had no concerns when I was in her care.

Probably the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I’ve never had such an experience with a doctor’s office. I truly don’t ever write negative reviews, but this was so bad, I feel the need to warn others. They feel that simply calling, leaving no voicemails, is proper communication for follow up. I typically don’t answer calls from unfamiliar numbers, but I do listen to all voicemails. I received no voicemails and my understanding was that all was fine. 9 months passed from my appointment before I was informed of pertinent information (no, not pregnancy) and the need for follow up. That was via a letter in the mail stating that they had attempted to contact me multiple times. Number one, no, I had not received any verbal or written communication prior to the letter. No voicemails. Nothing. Number two, it takes 9 months to mail a letter? To a Chicago address literally down the street? I’ve not moved recently and my information has remained the same for years. There were no email communication attempts either. Number three, if you needed to reach a patient with important information regarding their health, wouldn’t you not only call and LEAVE A MESSAGE, but also send an email and mail a letter, do multiple forms of communication and not take 9 months to do so? When I called to inquire about the letter, the staff was not helpful about explaining its contents or apologetic about the timeframe that had passed. They continued to say they had tried to contact me. The staff made no effort to be accommodating with scheduling either, even considering the duration of time that had passed. At one point, they said they would have the doctor call me. She didn’t. I never spoke with the doctor once in this whole experience. It is astonishing that this is how they conduct business. There is no question that I will be finding another doctor.

Another one of those practices with great doctors and horrible staff...First of all let me be clear ; I did not see any doctor of this practice. That being said, I dont see how an OB can be efficient if the front desk is rude and incompetent.I was very interested in seeing Dr. Blumenthal for my pregnancy. Left a message twice (thats the only way to get an appointment, you cant talk to anyone or schedule by internet). Never got a call back. I figured that if this is the level of service I am going to get it is not worth it...

The front desk staff is extremely rude and dont seem to know what they are doing. The person who assist my doctor always has an attitude which is unwelcoming. I always tend to wait at least 30 minutes past my appointment time before being seen and there is never an apology for that wait. Looking to change to a different doctor downtown.

Never have I been so humiliated by a doctor as I had been by Doctor Butler. Because Im older than most women trying to have a baby, she didnt even look at my chart, kept me waiting for over forty minutes and then told me not to come back unless I was pregnant or for an annual visit. She only goes with the sure things and has no compassion. If youre over 40, stay far, far away.
