Dr Ash is amazing.... a real God sent. He is meticulous and so gentle. Carrying you along the way while he does the procedure. I truly recommend him if you are not a fan of root canals as he makes a miserable procedure very comfortable.

Ive never had a pain free dental experience until my root canal yesterday. Always (since childhood) have trouble getting nerves fully numb. Dr. Ash and his staff are wonderful. Efficient, thorough in explaining everything, careful in making sure I was comfortable throughout the procedure, and quick in sending over the info back to my primary dentist. Highly recommend.

I was completely anxious when I arrived fir my root canal…..feeling awful. Audrey talked to me before the procedure - about procedure and other topics and her manner, sense of humorand relaxed attitude calmed me down tremendously. Dr. Ash came in and his relaxed manner and competence and calming conversation helped my anxiety go away almost completely. There was no pain whatsoever and Audrey got something to put under me neck to make me very comfortable. An very good experience I did not expect!

I can not say enough positive things about RONOVO in Roscoe Village. From the ladies at the front desk (Vanessa is awesome) to Dr. Ash and the girls who assist him (Audrey & Anna are the sweetest), everyone was so helpful, kind and catered to my personal needs. I had to have 3 root canals and was extremely anxious since I’ve had other traumatic experiences in the past at the dentist. Dr. Ash personally called me to let me know that I was going to be okay and not to worry. I did use oral sedation and slept comfortably through the procedure. I don’t remember a thing! Dr. Ash was super efficient too and did all 3 of my root canals in 1 hour and 15 min. Thank you to Dr. Ash and his entire team for taking such great care of me through the entire process. If you need a root canal, this is the only place to go!!!

The doctors will treat you with kid gloves. By that I mean they make sure you are comfortable before they begin any kind of work on your teeth. I was nervous and anxious and by the time I left I felt good .

This place was a God send. I was recommended by a family friend and she was absolutely right. This place is clean, modern and extremely accommodating and efficient. The doc is respectful and calm and does his job very well. I called them after getting a few fillings done by my general dentist to get a root canal done for one of my teeth and they took me the next day after I called. After that root canal, I continued to experience severe pain in my jaw, back gums and upper side throat and began to stress that the root canal filling degraded and got infected again. I called about coming in and once again, they had me come in the NEXT DAY from my call for a consultation. I got there and the doc reassured me that the pain could not be coming from the root canal he did. They did a few x-rays and immediately saw that the back molar, which the general dentist did a filling on, had become infected and needed a root canal. They initially told me that they were extremely busy and I would have to come back at 1pm and I let them know that I start work at 12. Doc came back in and somehow made space for me, numbed me up and immediately started drilling in. He finished the root canal THE SAME DAY and got me out of there so I could get home and start work. THANK YOU RENOVO!!!

I have had multiple root canals throughout my life(bad genes). This has been the best / most pain free experience. Dr. Allan explained everything and did everything possible to make me comfortable. There was an issue with my insurance, but they were very accommodating and helped me get everything cleared up. Saving me a couple hundred dollars. I am so thankful I found Renovo!

I was anxious at the idea that I needed a root canal. But I must say that I am thankful I went to Renovo in Roscoe Village. Dr Ash worked diligently to get the job done fast and kept me as comfortable as he could in the process. Audrey, his assistant, was a godsend to me. Her kindness and empathy did not go unnoticed. She held my hand throughout the entire procedure which helped me tremendously during bouts of pain. I will forever be thankful that she was there for me. As soon as I was evaluated by Dr. Commet, he gave me shots to relieve the considerable pain. The rest of the procedure was swift and pain free. Dr. Commet and team explained everything and answered questions. I could not have been more relieved. While the doctor explained complications and pain I might have and what to do about it post procedure, all went well and I felt better immediately. The Roscoe Village location staff was amazing. The office itself was super clean and up to date. I had no interaction with any other patients which was nice during covid.Dr. Commet was very detailed in explaining everything and even pulled my X-rays up to show me what was going on and what my options were.I gave 4 stars instead of 5 not for the Roscoe Village location, but for Renovo in general. Last night (the night of my root canal) I was in unbearable pain that resulted in my crying half the night. The pain medication they gave me did not work. So, I called the answering service and they sent a message to the emergency line twice they told me, and I have yet to receive a call back (it is not 9am the next day).PLEASE tell me what the point of an emergency line is, if I have to wait till the next morning to get a call back. It deeply upsets me that they would let me suffer in excruciating pain throughout the night with no call.All in all, the answering service people were nice and understanding and did their job. I’m generally just disappointed that there isn’t a direct emergency line to call to actually speak with a doctor.

Dr. Commet is the best in his field. I am thankful to my new found dentist, Dr. Basko for referring me to Dr. Commet @ Renovo. He treated a root canal which was half done years ago. While two other Endodontist could not take this job over because the root canal was half filled with plastic and the other half was calcified, Dr Commet took care of it and saved my tooth. I had terrible pain the next day and my face was swelled like a chipmunk. I called the number on his business card and somehow I had left a message on Dr Wong’s phone. Dr Wong made sure that Dr Commet got my message. Dr Commet took care of my problem right away. He even contacted me on the weekend to make sure I was ok. Dr. Commet at Roscoe village is amazing! The entire Renovo staff made sure all my paperwork was transferred before my appointment. Dr. Commet and his staff were terrific!My surgery appointment took place on time yesterday. He walked me through the procedure, let me take a break if needed, added additional anesthesia quickly when required, informed me during the process of how far along we were, and gave me the outcome at the end of the procedure.I also noted that, during the procedure, he pointed out to his inquisitive assistant, Crystal, why he was choosing to go a certain route in a step in the procedure. Not only was he doing a great job on the apicos, he was teaching while he was doing it. Of course, I learned a little something along the way. I let him know that I was impressed.He was very thorough with his explanation for recovery and gave me options for that recovery e.g. steroids versus pain medication.The whole staff there was friendly and efficient.I cant recommend Dr. Commet enough.

Root Canal Magic! I was referred to this endodontist by my regular dentist, and at the entire experience was five star from start to finish. From making the appointment to the location of the facility, down to all of the amenities and absolutely wonderful care of each staff member there. I have severe anxiety in regard to needles - I do not hate the dentist (also you should stop dentists that you hate them; can you imagine people telling you that they hate you all day and then working on their ingrate mouths?) - I was anxious to have an appt with a Dr I did not know, especially since I have severe needle-phobia. I told Dr. Ash this and he was completely understanding and gave me some of the BEST shots I have ever experienced. Couldnt feel a thing, did not have to see the needles - and he verbally guided me through every step he was taking during the procedure which was extremely comforting. Not to mention they let me have control of the television (mistake) and I put on a classic Godzilla movie. My appointment took less time than I thought, they were clear and direct about out of pocket costs to me before they proceeded, and they went above and beyond to make sure the issues in my tooth were resolved that day. And I cannot fail to mention that not only did they give me great tangible advice for after care, but they even sent me an email to give to my regular dentist that had pictures of the work they did, X-rays from before and after the root canal, and a very thorough memo comprised of a recap of all of the work they did on my root canal. I sincerely have never had such a professional and wonderful experience with an endodontist. If I ever have to return, I will feel GREAT about it. Thank you all for what you do!

I went to the location in Roscoe village. Great office digs. Clean, modern, and well designed. TVs in two places in procedure/exam rooms, great for distraction (I am a nervous patient). Kind faces and top quality care. Dr. Commet is timely, thorough, straight forward, and accommodating. He and his assistants had great bedside manner. I am additionally grateful for the care and the willingness to work with me since I didnt have insurance.***The reason I almost rated 4: Their answering service cost them the star. I experienced some minor complications (not due to doctors fault), but when I called to leave a message it was never received by the doctor.

Great first experience. Not a fan of going to any sort of dentist, but staff was pleasant and informative. Doctor was great and explained diagnosis in a way that I could understand. 3D imaging was beyond helpful. Overall, was pleased.

My experience with Dr. Commet and the team at Renovo Endodontic Studio in Ravenswood was superb. First everyone is extraordinarily nice and extremely competent. They answer your questions before you can think of them. And at the same time they ask you if you have any more questions and do not leave your side until you are satisfied with all the answers. The dental procedure rooms are comfortable and high tech. There are TVs and monitors at all angles so you can be distracted and entertained and at the same time, these screens can be turned into monitors so Dr. Commet can show you exactly whats going on with your teeth through X Rays, 3D Xrays etc. While you are with Dr. Commet, Vanessa the office manager is planning your next steps, updating your file, coordinating your billing, insurance etc. When you return to see her as you check out, she has your plan ready for your next visit, your final check out, etc depending on your needs. These folks are the Pros Pros.. They are smart, caring, nurturing and educational. Im looking forward to my next root canal with Dr. Commet!!

I was referred by my son who had a great experience who was referred by our dentist Melissa. I waited a little longer than I should have and wanted to get an apt right away for a root canal. They accommodated me within a couple days and everything went very smooth. They have all the latest equipment. Dr Comet and the staff were very professional and as nice as they could be. I was in and out within an hour as promised. I will refer Dr Comet to anyone that needs his services.

With a referral from my dentist, I scheduled a consultation with Dr. Czaperacker. She was informative and reassuring, but also firm: I did need a root canal on an upper front tooth. Had my first root canal, which I was very scared about but I had a great experience at Renovo. Dr. Cynthia and staff took great care of me, and the process was almost entirely pain free. Really it was just the Novocain injections that pinched a bit, but that wasn’t even that bad because I asked for a topical Novocain first (highly recommended). After that I sat back and watched soccer or football and it was fine. Will definitely recommend Renovo to others!

For someone so deathly afraid of dentists and needles, I had a complicated root canal but the team performed it seamlessly in under an hour with many many quality checks in between to make sure that each step of the way nothing was missed. Excellent experience at Renovo. Getting an urgent appointment and checking in was super easy. Dr. Cynthia Czaperacker and her staff were great. I felt like I received a very thorough exam by Dr. Czaperacker and she took a lot of time to walk me through the images and what was going on and what options I had. I also appreciated they were upfront about the prices and options prior to any procedure being done. Ultimately, the root canal was entirely painless and seemed pretty quick. SO HAPPY.

I had a great experience with Dr. Kaushik. I have very extreme dental phobia, like, nausea, anxiety attack inducing phobia. I went to Perfect Smile Dental spa down the street for an exam with a really sore tooth. This was the first time I had seen a dentist in maybe 4 years. They referred be to Renovo for a root canal for said tooth. I was terrified, like sobbed in my car after the appointment terrified. I went in for a consult with Dr. Kaushik and he walked be through the procedure as well as sedation options. I elected to pay extra for nitrous (laughing gas). The day of my procedure, I was very nervous. My boyfriend came with me and they were gracious enough to let him come back me and hold my hand while the gas and novacaine kicked in. It was my first time using laughing gas and I was nervous about not liking it but I have to say, game changing. Dr. Kaushik made sure to keep asking me how I was doing and made sure I was proper numb. The whole root canal took maybe 45 min? So quick. The pain in my tooth was gone and I could drink cold liquids again! The ladies at the front desk are also so kind and helpful in assuaging my nerves.The only thing negative I can say is that the two receptionists, as nice as they were, sometimes wore masks, sometimes didn’t, including when interacting with patients.

Very friendly staff! Got treated right away after my consultation so I didn’t have to come back for another appointment.

Dr. Cynthia, her assistant, Ashley and Megan at reception could not have done any more to make me feel welcome, comfortable and well-cared for. Professionalism reigns and their helpfulness was unsurpassed. Will make future appointments with them because they’re well-worth a 60 mile commute. Dr. Comment and team were very helpful and thorough. Super friendly staff and great vibes if you can imagine in an endodontic studio. I fear root canals but this office made it easy. Definitely recommend to everyone,

Another 5 star review. I was able to get a same-day appt for what turned out to be a very tricky root canal. The front desk was professional, friendly, and provided insurance estimates up-front. Dr Commet explained the process in detail, pointed out some complications, and provided me options for how to move forward. Im very impressed with the service and the result, and feel lucky to have landed in this particular practice.

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Attentive staff who stays on top of your appointments, up front discussion of options and costs, and a very comfortable office in which to experience it all. I cant begin to say how happy I am with Renovo- and now I have the smile to show it ;)

2.5 stars reflects 4 stars for the doctor and 1 star for the management of my visit.The place is clean and nice and modern. The doctor was nice and experienced. They gave me a nice report afterwards and some good advice and quotes.The bad: in my case i came with something that i already knew is my problem, i new it till smallest details and i needed just a price quote. I brought myself a 400$ 3D scan on a disc. Question: why i had to do 2 simple scans worth of 70$ when from the very beggining i knew they won’t show anything and i warned the staff about it and the disc. The result: the doctor looked into my disc and told me what i already knew.So, finally, my simple quote was worth 171$, and it could be higher if i had not the dental plan.And, the second, i think the doctors are professional and nice and the have multiple convenient locations, BUT, the quote i got (with plan discount) was double the prior quote.So i think it is a fair 2.5 stars review.

Dr. Commet was incredible! He explained everything thoroughly and went with the best treatment option for me (even though it was the less expensive procedure). I have been pain-free and the procedure was quicker than even a cleaning. The office is brand new and looks awesome!

Absolutely loved my experience! Was able to be seen last minute and was walked through the procedure with complete understanding. Great staff, would definitely recommend coming here.

Dr. Commet was awesome! Ive had some complications with a root canal at a different practice and my tooth hasnt felt quite right for years. He did a great job of showing me pictures and explaining exactly what was going on, and fixed me right up! You can tell he really knows what hes doing and seems to have corrected or improved some of the previous dental work Ive had done by other practitioners that was questionable, to say the least. He is also great at making the patient feel comfortable and has a good sense of humor :)The entire office staff and all of the assistants were incredibly accommodating and kind as well. Would definitely recommend this place and Dr. Commet for anyone looking to make sure they have the best of the best working on them! Thanks again!
