I remember the 1st time I called (October 2020) needing an appointment and they got me in within one week. They did x-rays told me what needed to be done and got started the following week. With all the drama going on in Chicago for the past 2yrs. I was uncomfortable going outside my realm but, they made me feel very welcomed and comfortable.Love this office.

Dr. Spiro, was so gentle and soothing.I have some fears when going to the dentist. But, he calmed me and made me feel comfortable. Margarita, his assistant is very nice and has a beautiful personality!! I recommend this dental office on the East side. By the way, I did check their reviews before coming here, and it was spot on.

Dr Romano is the beat oral surgeon he was highly professional and very smooth and gentle he removed my top wisdom teeth with no effort. A week prior to seeing Dr Romano I had went to a dentist in Valparaiso indiana that assured me would be no problem removing them and after pulling and tugging failed miserably and being my first time having a tooth extraction I was so scared not knowing what would happen I came to east side family dental and they were very honest and fair priced I dont have dental insurance so that was another concern of mine. I came back to my old neighborhood and they took care of me. I will always recommend anyone to this place.

I would recommend this place to anyone that asks. They had availability immediately. I went in there with minor concerns and they validated each one; making sure I understood fully each step of the way. Myra was wonderful with my x-ray. Celia embodied excellent bedside manner while I got impressions & a cleaning. Victoria was easy to talk to. & Dr. Patel also made me feel welcome as opposed to a new patient during my consultation/cleaning. Everyone exuded professionalism and patience. So Thank you.

The staff is great and has seen me at me worse. Dr Patel is hilarious and skilled.Ive got alot of visits to make up for the 2 decades of neglect. And im thankful I found them.

I went to this dentist to get my teeth looked at. The receptionist and dental assistants were nice but the actual dentist was not. He came in the room and did not introduce himself nor was he pleasant. He suggested that I get a root canal but I explained that I was pregnant and was concerned. His response was “well are you going to be in pain and wait until it’s too late or deal with it now”.... They took X rays of only ONE side of my mouth and they didn’t even examine my entire mouth nor did they check for cavities. I would NOT recommend this establishment at all.

I was always scared and afraid of seeing the dentist because I had a bad experiences at other dental places, and my son referred me here because he said that the DeNTisT that took care of his needs was just great and I was scared at first coming here, and the minute I walked in here was just what I needed to feel calm and not be scared of seeing the dentist. The front staff was really nice to me, and my dentist was SuPeR AWeSoMe!! He took care of my needs and I didnt feel any pain or discomfort at all. I even had a deep cleaning and she is a great person. I would definitely come back here again.

This is not a family dental this is more like thief dental. I wouldn’t recommend this place to nobody. If you do go there be careful don’t let them force you to do what you don’t want. They took 2 X-rays in one year which I don’t know why. And then I gave them 2, 3 stars on the form and wrote down I wasn’t happy and wouldn’t recommend nobody and they still calling me lol

I went in for a regular cleaning, only to be told I needed a deep cleaning. The first half was done by a male dental professional, and I returned the next day for the second half which was done by a wonderful young lady by the name of Maria. Marias level of professionalism left a lot to be desired. She was patient and very informative about everything she was doing while consistently asking am I doing ok. She is excellent at her job!

I highly recommend this place. The staff is super nice, efficient & considerate of your needs. Especially Jocelyn Arambula. She was very kind to both my son & i. And made sure we both felt comfortable while we waited to be assisted. It was my first time being there & I’ll definitely go back to follow up with all of my son’s dental needs.

I had two root canals done by a specialist then and I had to have a follow up visit with my dentist to have the permanent filling and the crown done. Two weeks ago while eating a burger on lunch break at a pub it was really good till somehow I crack my wisdom tooth. Jocelyn, one of the staff members here who’s also an amazing friend of mine was extremely helpful and sweet recommending me to come here to get an X-ray and consultation on getting that problem solved. My first time there the staff members were kind and helpful and I got in and out In a good amount of time, the wait there was not long at all whatsoever. Jocelyn was really gentle with my X-rays and the whole process went smooth and quick. Appointments were set real easy and within the next week my wisdom tooth removal turned out better than I was nervous about. I didn’t feel pain during or after the process, not did I swell up at all. My gums started healing the next two days and before you know it I didn’t hesitate to get back to eating whatever I wanted. Much thankful for Jocelyn and her help, she even checked up on me during my recovery and for that I will definitely keep returning here for more treatments at Family Dental Care 🤞👍

Awesome staff and friendly doctors. I was suffering from tooth pain they were able to see me same day within a hour of me calling. Next day i was getting work done. I personally didnt like going to the dentist but i feel extremely comfortable here. You can tell they actually care about you and build relationships with their patients.

Saturday morning I was scheduled for dental services at Family Dental Care - East Side. This would make my 4th visit at this office, I was warmly greeted by office staff and escorted within a short wait time to one of their five dental service rooms. One of the office staff members joined me while waiting for services to go over a amended bill of charges from services received. The office staff member wanted me to sign the new agreement for new terms so that Family Dental could be reimbursed for a similar treatment I had previously done a year ago. The insurance stipulated they only cover that treatment every two years. I was upset at the fact that my treatment plan went up in cost and subsequently the payment as well. The second issue is that the office staff asked me for payment for services that were to be performed that day after speaking with the office staff. I was asked for my name and date of birth twice by two separate staff members, after providing my drivers license and insurance information at the initial appointment. I thought of the request for payment without services rendered was very unprofessional, not sure if that is company policy or if local office policy takes precedent to overall company policy. Generally I have found Family Dental service providers very professional and thorough in providing quality services for their clients. The office policy and procedures need overview.

My experience was amazing with them. De Patel and dr Romero were the best ! And the assistants are amazing . I recommend you all to come if you’re afraid of dentist. They’re by far the best !

This place is great. I came her for wisdom teeth extractions and a root canal. They were able to put me on a payment plan which helped me out a lot. They are very professional and caring and do great work! 10/10 would recommend!

Ive had terrible experience with this facility. Im never seen at the time of appointment. Ive been made to wait an hour. No one told me I would have to wait that long. Its unprofessional to schedule someone, and not be seen. I expect the same respect for my time as I give them by showing up on time. I would not recommend this facility if you believe your time should be honored.

I want to start off by saying I have never took time out to write a review for anything ever. This office is just absolutely ridiculous. The lack of care and decency I was shown compared to others of a different race was my first issue. They made me feel so unwelcome and out of place here. Second my dentist rushed seeing me. He told me I didn’t have a cavity which after seeing another dentist I do. Third after coming for a teeth cleaning appointment once again, because this is my assigned dental office. I was told after I came all the way there “sorry we have to reschedule you for another day”. When I could have been called and told that. I have never been judged by my skin color until coming here. I will never return to this dentist office again.

Best dental office in town! They offer late evening hours and Saturdays! And they have all specialists on staff, no need to go to another office!

Very friendly staff. The office is very warm and clean. I was always afraid to go to the dentist but Dr. Sparrow and Patel took the fear away with excellent painless care. The Surgeon that did the crown lengthening was awesome. The doctor that did the root canal was excellent. I now make my appointments.

I tend to be a nervous dental patient. The staff was understanding and non judgemental. I have had a crown, which got yanked out when I stupidly forgot and chewed gum, and they got me right in to replace it that day. When Maria cleaned my teeth I was quite comfortable. She was professional and compassionate and took time afterward to answer my questions and provided education.I have been to another dental practice which had more bells and whistles like hand massages, etc, but this practice is excellent and not prohibitively expensive. I can do without a hand massage!

The staff is very cordial, and go out of their way to make the patient feel comfortable and at ease. Overall, the locations are very convenient as well as the business hours, the work is very good, and their services are highly recommend it.

I’ve been going to family dental, Eastside location for the last five years.All the doctors and staff are very knowledgeable and professional. I’ve had a lot of dental issues in the past and Dr. Patel has taking good care of me with all my route canals, Bridges and crowns. The office has always been able to fit me in even in emergencies and are quick to remedy the problem.. My only complaint is that I didn’t find this office sooner in my life. They’re re the best in my opinion.

Extremely happy I came to visit this dental place. My last dentist office had exaggerated my dental needs and didnt show me anything other than the cost of my dental repairs. I came here after a recommendation from friend and Im glad I did! I was seen immediately, shown color pictures and was pointed out my problem areas. They were very detailed, listened to each of my concerns and wrote out a three option dental plan so I can take care of my teeth without hurting my pocket.

Ive been here a few times now and always experience excellent service. Dentists and assistants are courteous, patiently explaining what procedures are taking place, talking me through my visit. I like that, because dentist visits in the past have always made me anxious.

Worst dental experience to date. I would not normally write a bad review but in this case I think my experience would be beneficial to those that are looking for a new dentist. To start with something positive, the staff and dentists are very polite and friendly. With that being said, if you have nothing better to do than watch ABC family in the waiting room, this is your place! First visit 430pm appointment for x-rays and inspection with the possibility for a cleaning if time permitted due to me being a new patient. 730pm I finally leave the office with x-rays being performed and a repair to an old filling. That was approximately 1 hour of work and 2hrs of watching TV, yes i watched all of the Elf starring Will Ferrell. Although he is one of my favorite comedians the dentist office is the last place i want to watch a movie. Day 2 appointment 530, arrive 520, 620 rolls around still in the waiting room. Thanks but no thanks, I like watching my movies at home.
