This dental practice is a gem, the dentist, specialist , hygienist and front desk group all are compassionate, attentive. Their skill sets are excellent. That is comforting to know your are getting 5 star treatment.

Dr.Romano was awesome and calming. He made it easy to get work done that can be mentally frightening but he helped my nerves. I would definitely recommend him to others.

Dr.Romano , the best surgeon for my teeth. I was able to laugh and become very comfortable.I hope I never need another surgeon situation but he will he the Dr. I ask for! The staff here was unbelievable they took my information they made sure I had enough to eat already on my system, and when I was getting my procedure done I was very pleased with the ladies that had to help me put information into paperwork And after the procedure was done. I am looking for a dentist on the southside and I believe I will come here again and find one.

I was anticipating for a hour straight how uncomfortable and scary getting a tooth pulled but over heard him explaining a procedure to a patient to the right of me and it calmed me down. I had my partial tooth extracted today & other than the shot to numb you up, I didnt feel a thing & he was done in like 10 minutes. It was great & not like my past experience somewhere else. Amazing first visit at family dental care. I amHappy to finally have primary dental care. Everyone in the office was friendly and helpful…. I was even offered a fleece blanket because I was dressed for the scorching hot weather outside and it was chilly in the office. Lol so nice. The care here feels genuine!

I had an emergency dental issue. My tooth cracked and I wasnt able to bit down. This happened 2 days before my mother funeral service. So not only was I dealing with the death of my mother, I encounter this issue with my tooth. I came in the dental office with straight fear from previous experience with other dentist. The welcome at this office was warm and kind. Then I was introduce to my dentist Dr. Chris. Dr. Chris and his entire team made my first visit awesome. He acknowledged my fear and made sure I was comfortable. It went so well, I completed my entire dental work with Dr. Chris. I recommend Family Dental Care for any and all dental care.

Dr. Czyscon at Family Dental was awesome. I had 2 large fillings done and I was soooooo nervous about getting numb and basically the whole process in general. One rating is being provided because I am unable to post with no rating. Not punctual, no professionalism and rude. Let me start off by saying my senior citizen father had a 3pm appointment today for consultation and possible services. By 4:30pm, he decided that an hour and a half wait time in a waiting room full of patients is unacceptable. With Covid-19 still in record high numbers, there was no social distancing due to the over excessive scheduling. Secondly, when the front desk receptionist fax me Family Dentals new patient application to complete at home to circumvent a long wait. (By completing the new patient application in advance will save waiting time). However, when my father arrived with the forms, the front desk receptionist questioned my father about how he received the new patient forms, where did he get them from, who sent them to him, etc..etc.. I spoke to Marcella, the office manager, who apologized for humiliating him, when in fact the office receptionist faxed the form. However, I cant comfortably give Family Dental Care a higher rating nor recommend this place for service.

I was scheduled for a root canal here the other day on my back, right, bottom molar. The front desk staff were very polite and professional. I met Patrice who took me into a exam room and made me feel comfortable. I have worry and anxiety with ANY type of dental procedure that involves drilling (and Ive had 2 major back surgeries and had less worry and anxiety than I did with this root canal). I met the endodontist, Dr. Desai, and she was very polite and professional. She assured me that she would do everything possible to ease my fear and make sure that I was pain free. She was true to her word. Unfortunately, she diagnosed me with a vertical root fracture. Her recommendation was complete tooth extraction.Even though my fear once again soared to new heights, fortunately Dr. Romano was available. After a short wait in the lobby, I was taken back to a different exam room by a very nice young lady, Debbie. She made me comfortable and soon I met Dr. Romano. He made sure that my mouth was completely numb before proceeding with the extraction. It was done and over with very quick and was totally painfree!Thank you so much Dr. Desai, Dr. Romano, Patrice, Debbie and all of the staff at Family Dental Care, South Chicago! You all do some amazing work!Rich Salcedo
