Dr. Sameena is awesome. She was hustling taking care of patients left and right. I came in there begging for a prescription like a fiend. She suggested a simple clean up. 16 hours later my mouth felt great. This place is lucky to have her as an employee.

This was my first visit and I had an emergent dental situation. The receptionists were friendly, and waiting area clean/comfortable.I waited for about 25 mins.I was excited to the x-ray area and then to my exam room. All of the staff were polite and professional.Dr. Hossam was skillful and made my experience as good as possible.Overall, positive experience!

Great customer service from the beginning of scheduling my appointment, wait time was very little to be seen, even the procedure was a breeze. I went in for a wisdom tooth extraction and was out within an hour. I was so pleased I even brought my kids ages 5,4, and 3 for their first dental visit and it went great! Staff was very good with them. Overall, we all had a great experience. Very happy to have found this place.

My daughters appointment has been canceled three times. Usually the day before or this time the day of ! And why? Because the doctor either decided he wasn’t going to be in that day and only is coming 3 more days that month or the doctor said he has to leave early. Do they not want to do their jobs ?? Do they not care about their patients ?? Apparently not. Will find somewhere else to go.

Be AWARE ,this office charges patients and insurance for things they shouldnt cahrge. Twice, to me and my husband they wanted for us to pay them something that our insurance covered. The manager got upset when in both times we said we shouldnt pay that, until we put our insurance on the phone they stopped asking us for the payment. Now they have being charging monthly to the insurance for a service my husband didnt (braces) , he needs them but this place lost the sample to make them,so after 2 months he was called to go back because they lost those samples, but my husband l thought that was not professional. now they keep charging the insurance for nothing. The manager have not called us,either the girls that answer the phone are not giving the messages or theynjust dont care, i think is both. AVOID THIS PLACE

I took myself and 2 kids, did not care for the fact they all seem to be inexperienced. Even with cleanings. Idk if theyre fresh outof dental school but never had the same dentist twice, ever, even when i specifically requested. The few we had werent friendly or able to answer questions that well.

They terrible don’t know how to treat customers.I had Deep cleaning earlier spend 4 hours. Their machines don’t work. They have changed me room again the cable of their machine wasn’t working. they have to switch the cable other machine they have. I had a lot spit in my mouth was going down to my chin ,my neck and my T-shirt was wet. They terrible. I don’t how to explain. The Doctor, the Manager sucks don’t know how to work with theirs customers. After all I paid full price that’s not fair.

I dont know anyone who enjoys going to the dentist, but I felt comfortable throughout my visit. I particularly loved the way the dentist and dental assistant interacted. They were respectful and polite to each other and seemed happy to work together, which definitely put me at ease. The dental assistant actually said, She loves it here. They were also clear with costs and financial expectations. The clinic was clean and plenty of parking when I arrived. Major points-- I called the night before and got an appt for first slot the next morning. Would definitely recommend!

I had visited in 2018 and everything was fine. I came in May for a check up because I had to have major surgery in June. Its customary to make sure there are no issues with teeth before a major surgery. They took X-rays and dentist came in and I told him the reason why I was there. He made me take more Xrays, sat me down and told me I need 3 teeth removed and deep cleaning. I asked why all of this needed to be done before my surgery He was difficult to understand and he contradicted himself. I asked many questions and he seemed annoyed. He left and I asked his assistant to clarify and even she was confused. Dentist came back and told me I have a severe case and that we wouldnt sign off for my surgery. I got up and left. I went to another dentist nearby, all i needed was a deep cleaning and that no teeth need to be removed. I felt like the dentist at Irving Park Family wasnt looking out for my best interest and maybe was taking advantage of my situation.

First time there today, and very happy! Great experience, friendly and helpful staff! Definitely will continue going there!

I went in for a cleaning and they didn’t even clean my teeth properly. They took 2 min and just put polish. The dentist was in and out. Didn’t even say if I had cavities or not. My appointment was at 10 and they didn’t call my name until 10:45. It took longer for them to see me then to actually get seen. This is the WORST dentistry you can go to. Don’t waste your money on this. Go somewhere else. Do your research. I hope this review helps you choose a better place.

Been fairly frustrated the past 2-3 times we’ve been in. The wait here is always around 30-40 minutes past your appointment time, almost without fail and no matter what time your appointment is for. The cleaning the past two times has only been around 15 minutes for X-rays, cleaning and inspection. They’re nice when they do it, but it seems so rushed because they’re already so far behind their schedule anyway.

Its definitely not a place for senior citizens cause we got turned down.The dentist will not help anyone who has had a stroke due to legal issues the dentist said today.Id recommend for the office to provide more information before making future appointments to seniors end of story.

Staff was friendly and very open. Love that they are taking temperatures still in the midst of the pandemic. Office was clean. The office is located in a decent area and there is ample parking. Dentist was very empathetic and informative. Call back for an adjustment of filling and without hesitation the receptionist was able to get me back in. Rated 4 stars (really 3.5) - because there was an extensive wait. *note the Dentist did apologize. Scheduling is not the best. Because everything was rushed, as a new patient - my dentist never took time to go over a dental plan, nor checked any of my teeth after my rushed cleaning. I wouldnt recommend this place as a permanent general dentist; but more so for emergency or quick fixes.

Dr/Deepa bhath she was very professional very kind with me when she removed my wisdom tooth and she take care of me before and after the procedure she made sure I was very comfortable I wasnt in pain I highly recommend Dr/ bhath and her staff to any one is looking good and honest dentist.

I had a great experience here. I was seen on time as a new patient. They take covid precautions, the staff is friendly, and the dentists and assistants are very informative. I got fillings and a cleaning and everything went smoothly! No issues with my insurance or billing and if you need to make multiple payments instead of one large one, they help you with that as well. Looks like I found my go to dentist!

Dr. Abdelsalam (Dr. Sam) is great! When he did my root canal, I was extremely nervous, but he was very comforting and communicated what was going to happen and what I was going to feel which helped ease my nerves. Camille, at the front desk, was also very efficient and knowledgeable about my care plan and my insurance information. Unfortunately, the other ladies in the front are not as knowledgeable or efficient. I was actually talking to one of them, and she ignored me to engage in a conversation with another colleague. Warning: do not park in their parking lot. I was blocked in, and the ladies in the front were of no help. I had to ease my car back and forth to get out. They really need cones or something to prevent people from parking illegally. Overall, my experience, so far, has been fine, but not 5 star worthy due to details mentioned above.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a friendly smile and very professional. They made feel comfortable and I knew they heard my concerns. I was referred by my family member and would recommend them to all my friends and family. From the staff to the doctors, they are all the best. I specifically saw Dr Ali Sabbar and I’m satisfied with his knowledge and work.

The lack of comprehension when being asked a question in this place is horrible. I call to ask questions before arriving to appointment considering I’m traveling over an hour to get here and no one understands the questions. The counter which is the face of this place has no clue on how to talk to people at all!!! This place is one of the most unorganized places of business that I’ve ever been to. You schedule an appointment at and still wait hours to be seen and/or completed for simple visits. Their ONLY concerns are if you understand how much money they want from you. I have called on several occasions to confirm times, dates, processes & prices and the only thing everyone seems to hear in this place is the PRICE as if i cannot or will not pay. This shows me why their patients are treated like numbers and not people. The spelling of the names are wrong in system though you’ve provided the correct information. They lie to you in order to get you to come in only to charge your insurance something. The people that answers the phones give out incorrect information because they are not knowledgeable of the company’s processes. It’s so bad I’m having my sons braces removed early just so i will no longer have to visit

I loved the environment very welcoming! The staff was awesome felt like I had been coming here for years this was my first visit. The doctor was amazing talked me through and explained step by step what he was doing and suggestions best fit for me. Overall great place. One thing to work on the office spaces was kinda cluttered and could have been a little cleaner. Will return!

Today was my first time coming to this dentist. Very clean and respectful atmosphere. Needed my tooth pulled but the attempt wasnt successful. The doctor didnt just give up on the first attempt. He tried, went back to the Xrays, did a little thinking and tried again. My tooth wouldnt come out for some reason. He referred me to a specialist to make sure the problem is resolved. Best experience at a dentist Ive ever had.

I am very disappointed because the filling for my tooth does not look aesthetic. They put it over my tooth and it looks like a cover up. It is coming off and it’s been a month since I got it. Another thing is I said I did not want x rays yet they did it anyway and told me I had to pay for that. The doctor was rude and it seemed like everyone only wants the money and not the customers satisfaction. Now, I called and told them that the filling came off and the receptionist wash very nice and told me to come and re do it. Then the doctor said they were sorry but they are busy and can’t fix it until next Monday. So I went to another doctor and they told me that what the other doctor did to my tooth was terrible and that they should take full responsibility.

I had originally given a 5 star review, but today I was blatantly discriminated against. My insurance only covers certain proceducres including fillings, but they denied me the filling because they wanted to upsell me out of pocket procedures and I said no. SCAMMERS.

I was treated by a professional and courteous staff. All details of the work to be done were explained to me step by step and all my questions were answered. I was very pleased with the results, and the price was reasonable.

The work I had done was fine, But the fact I have had the same thing done three times now and have had trouble with pain and sleeping (because of the amount of pain I am in) each time I think I know my own body. Now here I am once again In excruciating pain and not going to get any sleep tonight with the Ibuprofen you guys prescribed me. Might work for some and thats great but it does nothing for me. I am so sick of paying to be left in pain and loosing multiple days of sleep because of it. what a great place that really cares.Oh yeah and call you guys if I am in pain right? but wait your closed by that time..... Nice really appreciate the great service. and lack of sleep for the next two days.

Looked for a neighborhood dentist and couldnt be more pleased! Clean environment. Observe COVID-19 safety procedures. Easy new patient sign-up. Text message reminders about appointments. And the staff is friendly and considerate, from the front desk through the operating rooms. They also make sure that Im comfortable while in the chair with tools in my mouth. Bottom line: highly recommend.

I have not been to the dentist in a while so I was nervous coming in. I had a bad experience with a few dentists in the past over charging me, not being honest about what work I needed (one told me I had SEVEN cavities, I mean I have a few but not SEVEN) and overall just not very professional. This office was everything I hoped for. They were accommodating, professional and overall made sure I was comfortable. I double checked to make sure I actually do not have 7 cavities and I was assured I do not. I go back in a few weeks for a filling, but I cant imagine my opinion will change. I am really happy and I live 5 minutes away so even better. I wish I knew the doctors name but he was laid back and informative at the same time. Highly recommend!!

I am so pleased with the care and treatment received. Everyone in the office was kind and willing to help me out with my situation. I had to do extractions on broken teeth and Dr Dhari was kind and helped me with such professionalism. I recommend anyone that’s scared to go to the dentist to feel comfortable to go here. I’ve had experiences with really bad dentists but this dentist really cares.

Worst dental place I ever went too. The doctor gave me 10 shots in one appointment. Supposedly to do deep cleaning and she worked on a tooth till I’m not numbed anymore and I feel the pain when she started to do the deep cleaning and gave another two shots. Front desk I told them to change the doctor they said no you can’t. They called me to change the appointment time saying the doctor needs to leave early since it is Friday can you come earlier and I came one hour early and waited one hour and and 10 mins. This is a joke. I told them I been waiting they didn’t even say sorry and said just wait a bit longer. Never go they ripped my money off and done bad work. $800 for deep cleaning and not even clean. I am an Arab and thought since they are Arab they would be good but that’s the worst place ever I am very upset about it.

I’ve been going to this dentist office for quite some time now but was incredibly disappointed in my experience today. I showed up a few minutes early for my 1pm appointment to get a tooth looked at as I’ve been having some major sensitivity issues after getting a filling done several months ago. After arriving, I was told to take a seat and that the dentist would be with me shortly. After 30 minutes of waiting, I asked the front desk receptionist how much longer it would be and she could not give me an answer. I waited in the office for over an hour with absolutely no communication from anyone that my dentist was running over an hour behind on all of his appointments today. I left without even seeing the dentist because I didn’t want to wait around any longer than I already had been waiting. Very disappointed and very frustrated with my experience today. I understand if a dentist is running behind, but the least you could have done was let me know that instead of me just waiting around an incredibly crowed waiting room.

Its always a great day when I see Dr Alena and the Ortho department.Have had overcharged and painful experiences in the past with other offices.They thoroughly explain the procedures before they start. Im not a fan of needles being more than a foot away from my mouth, but the level of comfort I have.They have to make sure I dont fall a sleep.My 3 yr old always wants weekly check ups.From when you walk in to the office youre bombarded with positive energy and amazing environment.

Be Aware!! This place is ripped off. They always go for deep cleaning to get more money from insurance plus they ask you more money to pay you at the end because insurance paid for only this service. And next time if you go for regular check up and cleaning they would say your cannot go back to normal or regular teeth cleaning and you gotta pay 180$. Stupid people making people fool by charging more money. I would never go to this place or never would let go my friends and family.

I was actually really impressed with Irving Park Family Dentist. I’ve been to a few other dentists in Chicago, and they’re very sterile and unfriendly. However, everyone at IPFD was super friendly, including the dentist himself. He was awesome. I don’t know the proper spelling but I think his name is Dr. Dowry (again don’t know the proper spelling). The staff was friendly too. I can’t wait to go back.

Amazing service and amazing people!! The minute you walk in they attend you right away, and if you have any concerns or question they are very helpful enough to give you information that you need. Everyone is very kind and patient, overall this is a good dental clinic and I highly recommend going. :)

Absolutely terrible experience. I took my daughter for a regular routine visit, they told me they could not fill her cavity, but their other location in Berwyn could. I wasnt thrilled to drive an hour to Berwyn, but they were confident it was a great place to go. While scheduling the appointment, I SPECIFICALLY asked if the procedure would be done the same day (otherwise would have found somewhere else because it is way too long of a drive for a 5 year old). They said, yes everything would be taken care of that same day.Our appointment was at 4 and we sat in rush hour traffic for an hour. An extremely rude dental assistant came out while I was filling out paperwork and said, why are you here, we wont be able to her cavities today (with a completely unprofessional attitude). The dentist proceeded to tell me that they did not have the supplies needed to fill her cavities. They could have easily called me earlier in the day to reschedule if they were more organized. May be a good place for adults, but I do not reccomend for children. Will not be returning due to the lack of proffessionalism.

Today was my first time ever there...I saw Mohammed Kashmoula for a cracked tooth. I was in severe pain & a nervous wreck! He and his assistant took such good care of me, they cared about my pain and hurried to help me. I dont go to the dentist often... But he gained a new patient today! I was so nervous I was crying during the fill in and he was talking me through it...I felt like he truly cared, and for that Im grateful.

I don’t recommend this place. My husband went here and had an awful experience. We both love going to the dentist and had to switch because of insurance change... and I’m so disappointed that their high google rating has misled us. Wish we looked on Yelp first where it’s harder to fake/buy reviews. Felt rushed and pushy. Cleaning was done by the dentist, didn’t feel thorough which I completely understand, dentists are the doctors, usually not my go to for a cleaning. Called back to ask for another cleaning, and apparently they don’t have dental hygienists. I recommend looking elsewhere for your dentist. The reviews on Google are all fishy, their 5 star review are posted by people who only wrote one review.

The staff here were so friendly and nice. The doctor was nice as well, and they did a great job on my cleaning. I look forward to going back!

Don’t orthodontics here because:Ortho team is difficult to communicate with.Ortho pricing is high.Ortho appts are VERY limited.Communication with Ortho only possible Wednesdays and then just with front office.For Dental I’d give them 5 stars.My son and I have been coming here for years. ALWAYS a good experience. Easy to communicate with them via phone, text and email. Very pleased with the friendliness of everyone and their professionalism. Highly recommend.

Is it weird to have a favorite dentist? I love this place. Everyone is always so friendly and kind and the service is thorough and pretty quick. I always get all of my questions answered and excellent service from them. I felt safe getting my latest cleaning during this pandemic. They wiped down everything and everyone wore masks and shields during my cleaning.

It’s always nice to go to a dental office you can trust. I’ve never had any issues at this dental office, they always know what to do to our teeth without trying to provoke us into doing something you don’t want to do.

New management over the last few years has left a bad taste in my mouth. Unfortunately, the minty oral rinse didnt fix it.

Sad to have to leave but since you are no longer open on Saturdays, I have to find a dentist who is. I can’t take sick days, I have too much work to be done.
