I wanted to give this place a great review but Id have to get over what always seems to be a perpetually bothered, inconvenienced, and annoyed front desk and hygienists.The two dentists I have worked with have been absolutely phenomenal. They were incredibly kind, warm, understanding, and non-judgmental. If this place was solely in their hands - youd have the best dental office around.But the front desk, and hygienists are where it tanks, and tanks bad. Both the hygienists and front desk clearly act like they have better things to do, and lets hope you dont have any sort of dental anxiety, they dont have time, or care for that. They seem to never have the ability to give you 100% full attention when speaking to you. Oh, and dont ever hope to be told theyll follow up with an email. Over 14 days since Ive received a response, after reaching out multiple times about an upcoming appointment. As a result, Ive had to begin the process over again at another dentist due to them not responding as promised.Times are tough, I get it. But this isnt the time to disregard your patients. Its a shame the front desk and hygienists really ruin the potential place this has. Many people avoid the dentist in the first place because of poor treatment or experience. This place only adds to the laundry list of reasons to not visit the dentist, unless youre wanting to add more poor experiences. Save your time, and additional pain this place will cause you, to go spend your money elsewhere at a location that cares ever 1% more than this location.

I went in for dental cleaning but they suggested another (more expensive) cleaning procedure which needs to be scheduled on other dates but they asked me to pay for the cleaning that did not happen. The dentist was very nice. But overall a sad experience.

The staff at Brighter Dental are super friendly and super helpful. I went as a first time patient for their teeth whitening services. They ensured I was completely comfortable and answered all of my questions. Also - the facility is extremely clean!

Glad to give a positive review these guys have earned over excellent services and care !!When I moved in Chicago in the middle of COVID-19 crisis and looking for my routine checkout, these guys have gone way out of their hand to provide quality services. The doctor I was assigned was highly skills, friendly and aware of what he was doing and recommend the proper services with right flexibility !!There is a reason why they are always booked, coz they are demanding !!I recently had to do a crown service from them which was overdue !! Even though my regular doctor was unavailable, the new doctor did an exceptional service, that I couldnt have asked for !!Love this guys.. Keep up doing amazing work !!

First off, this dental practice office is not handicapped accessible. It has no support railing nor ANY accessibility for handicapped people! This I find UNACCEPTABLE! Secondly, the staffs mannerism could use ETIQUETTE TRAINING & HOW TO GREET CUSTOMERS in a welcoming way as well as looking out for customers entering their place of business with accommodating service.All the staff has an air of arrogance, including the dentist I saw! Most of the time, a patient has sometimes have fear in dental visits & other factors, FINALLY making it to the 1st appointment, and if there is the one problem I have with a doctor is that they IMMEDIATELY find a way to make you feel WORSE by right away finding fault in you as a patient! i.e. WOW...YOU SHOULD HAVE DONE THIS SOONER OR SOME OTHER WAYS OF OSTRACIZING when YOU DONT KNOW MY STORY! This is just the approach he had with me upon my visit & I was immediately turned off! I dont like to feel as though Im being scolded!I came in to have a painful WISDOM tooth extracted & POSSIBLY some other future work. But Id ALREADY MADE UP MY MIND...THAT I WOULD NOT RETURN.FURTHER...THE FOLLOW UP WAS HORRIFIC AFTER THERE OFFICE MADE EXACTLY 4 APPOINTMENTS & THEN CANCELLED 4-5 TIMES! I was appalled! Apparently the Dentist has several offices & in my OPINION, HE favors his discretion OVER whose appointments HE feels to prioritize.Other circumstances are the phone answering is set up in a way that: Either theres NO ANSWER WITHIN WORKING HOURS OR SOME REGULAR PHONE DOES NOT ANSWER AS A BUSINESS!I HAVE A COMPROMISED IMMUNE SYSTEM, WHICH I DETAILED TO THIS DOCTOR & JUST RECENTLY I CALLED TO ASK THE DENTIST AN IMPORTANT QUESTION OF WHICH A POCKET (POSSIBLY INFECTION), called 5/12/2021 Wed. & left msg. briefly explained. No concern displayed by the employee to reach the Dentist! I feel disheartened & concerned for my status in this delima & because I feel it is urgent, I may end up at hospital emergency.I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS ESTABLISHMENT BECAUSE OF ITS LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM. Seek out more Dental Service places, research practices by googling information (Not necessarily REVIEWS), but research information via SEARCHING AND ASKING QUESTIONS THROUGH Search Engine.

Had a very pleasant experience at Brighter Dental of Old Town. The staff is very friendly and inviting. The office is modern and clean.This was my first appointment at this office with Dr. Rachel Pappas and she was very professional. She took her time examining my teeth and explained what she was doing every step of the way.If you are looking for a new dentist, I definitely recommend this office. Hurry up and book your appointment as the time slots fill up quick!

Very professional dentists and receptionists! After my bfs first appointment with Dr. Marina Karnaukh, he had some concerns about doing root canal, he emailed Dr. Marina Karnaukh in the evening. She replied my bfs email the next day with detailed answers including the possible charges of treatment she suggested. She is so responsible to her patients and thoughtful!

Im very particular when it comes to my dentist/dental hygienist! Went in as a new patient for a cleaning and exam. Brighter Dental did a wonderful and very thorough job! Spent lots of time fully assessing current dental health and offering explanations for each step/procedure. Im not a scared of the dentist person, but they went out of their way to make sure I felt at ease throughout the visit (feel like this would be a huge bonus for people who hate going to the dentist!). Will definitely be coming back to Dr. Henry.

I have been seeing Dr. Henry for a few years now. She is the best dentist!! She is gentle, thoughtful, conscientious, knowledgeable, informative and patient. She lets you know how things are going and what she is going to do next. She answers any and all questions very patiently and thoroughly. She really cares that her patients are getting the best services and doing the right treatments. I recently had a cavity filled and she made a very uncomfortable experience enjoyable. Overall my experience was OK. I would rate this more of a 3.5. This was my first visit to this office. Dr. Amanda Henry was very nice and did a great/efficient job on my teeth. I was actually seen EARLIER than my appointment which is really rare so I commend this office for that.The reason for the lower review was the rest of the staff. My first impression of the front desk women was not good, they were very rude to my previous dental office when they tried sending my dental records and they did not so much as crack a smile when I walked in. You may want to re-evaluate their attitudes working at the front desk since its the first impression people get. A panoramic x-ray would have been way more efficient and comfortable since I felt like the tech took like 20 x-rays. The only reason I will return is because of Dr. Henry.

I have never looked forward to going to the dentist until I met Dr. Amanda Henry! My first visit to Brighter Dental was about a year ago when I was looking to have my bridge replaced. I had already gone through three dentists before finding Dr. Henry and now Ill never let anyone else touch my teeth. She is AMAZING! A perfectionist through and through! I cant recommend her enough! I had always been really self-conscious about my smile and when my bridge started failing, I needed to find someone I could trust to make things right. Dr. Henry worked with me through the whole process, which involved many long hours in the chair. When I saw my new smile in the mirror, I wanted to cry tears of joy. She gave me the bright, perfect smile I always wanted and never thought I could have. Ive already sent two of my friends to see her and they agree, Dr. Henry is the best!

I put off going to the dentist for ~3 years (yikes) and was nervous to have a cleaning and x-rays done, but it was time to pay the dentist a visit and a friend recently referred me here. The front desk staff was super friendly and thorough. The dentist explained everything she was doing and seeing throughout the cleaning - the entire x-ray and cleaning process took less than an hour! She also explained that what I thought was a cavity forming was actually a filling that had a stain and would be ready to be replaced soon, phew!! She also answered a ton of Qs from me on what toothbrush to buy. Afterwards I did the Zoom teeth whitening special and Marisol was the dental assistant who made sure I was 100% comfortable throughout the process - she filled me in on what to expect, how other patients feel after, and even her own experience. Such a sweetheart and I felt more comfortable and relaxed with her there!

After moving to the city from the suburbs, I had put off my routine cleaning for some time. After being recommended to Brighter Dental by my old Dentists office, I finally caved and scheduled an appt. I can honestly say my visit here as a New Patient today was the best experience I have had in a very long time. This is quite a big deal, considering I am someone who has dreaded going to the dentist for years. The building is easy to find, and the girls at the front desk were very warm and welcoming. Dr Amanda Henry was super sweet, knowledgeable and walked me through the entire process of my cleaning and exam. She did a great job of making me feel comfortable throughout the entire process (she used Vaseline on my lips and numbed my gums before the cleaning to prevent any discomfort at all) and made sure to ask if I was doing okay every once in a while. After the exam she talked me through her findings and explained that I had a cavity and would need to come back for a filling. I was hesitant at first because I do not have Dental Insurance, however, the girls at the front desk told me about a couple of Dental Discount programs I could use so that my next appointment would be affordable for me. Although getting a filling isnt something I am looking forward too, I am glad that I will be going back to Dr. Henry because I know she will take great care of me! I highly recommend this Dentist office to anyone seeking a new place to go!

My husband and I both went to Brighter Dental for the three years we lived in Chicago and it is a terrific practice. Dr. Nouneh was my dentist and I cannot speak highly enough about him. The practice is in a very convenient location, we lived on the Gold Coast so I could easily walk or ride my bike over and then do some shopping afterward. We were very sorry to leave the area.

Highly recommend this place for people looking for a new dentist. I recently moved from Ohio and was looking for a new dentist and read some reviewS and found out how good this place is. I came in for an initial consultation and cleaning it and the dentist was able to recommend many things that I need to get done! The pricing is comparable to other dentists offices and the facility is brand-new!

Over the past two years, Brighter Dental has taken great care of me! Ive utilized them for cleanings, a mouthguard, and work on a bridge. Much easier getting all the work done in the same place with a wonderful team of doctors available on site. They always explain what they are doing, which creates a very comfortable and friendly environment. Never had to wait more than a few minutes and can very easily set up appointments!

This is probably one of the best dentist office, I have been in to ever. They walk you through the process and make you feel super comfortable along the way. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Love this place. Everyone is very friendly. Dr. Ahn is a fantastic dentist and takes great care of me. I have a rough work schedule and they are super accomodating as well, Sebina always fits me in and sends me friendly reminders of upcoming appointments! I highly recommend them, you will be happy above your expectations!

I have been seeing Dr. Henry at Brighter Dental for over a year now and I could not be happier. Dr. Henry is extremely knowledgable, patient, and thorough. She goes the extra mile to make sure her patients have a good experience. I really hate the noise that the ultrasonic scaler makes to the point where I have literally not been able to tolerate it at other dentist offices. Dr. Henry always makes sure I am equipped with numbing gel, ear phones, and music so that I cannot hear the machine. This small gesture means so much and is extremely appreciated. I truly look forward to my appointments with her and I will be a loyal patient for many years to come.
