Took my two cats to get deformed, was able to get then in same day for a reasonable price. The staff here are super friendly and nice.

My 2 french bulldogs had surgery with Dr. Springer. One was for elongated soft palate, the other was for a cherry eye condition. They both have recovered well and I am pleased to find a skilled vet who uses laser.

I love Dr Springer and his staff. They are kind to me, loving to my pets and work with me. They never try to get me to do things my pets dont actually need.

They were all very professional, consoling and helpful on a sad day...highly recommend.

Very unprofessional, messed up test results, wont return!It was under my daughter. Her dogs thyroid test wasnt dont properly.When we decided to change vets, it took over 3 weeks to get the records to the new vet bc they kept sending only the vaccination records. Then the girl I talked to on the phone was rude after telling her she sent the wrong records. I told Highlands I was changing vets and needed all the dogs records transferred. Wouldnt you think that would include records that showed a medical problem such as thyroid deficiencies to be sent. At no time did I ask for only the vaccination records. I asked for all the dogs records.

Amazing vet! Took my cat here after a bad experience with the Blue Pearl Emergency vet. They were able to see my cat that day, in the morning. Lots of tests done with immediate results, very helpful Doctor, and answered all my fiances questions with patience and knowledge. The staff there really cares about your pet and want to help in any way they can. With multiple tests, blood work, medicine, and fluids, the total cost was cheaper than just 1 exam, 1 radiograph, and a dose of fluids at Blue Pearl. My cat was taken in right away and all tests done promptly. Out the door in 2 hours with everything done. Highly recommend!!

Very upset with Highland Veterinary . I have been taking my dog Clipso for years to here. She was diagnosed with Bladder Cancer not to long ago, Asked if there was anything we can do to help her , I was told no she has two weeks to live. After that never received even a email to ask how she was doing they did not seem compasiant at all. When it was time to euthanize her , they where to busy even though she was in a great deal of pain . We did find another fantastic Clinic that was compassionate and caring .

Our cat had cancer. The entire staff was wonderful helping our sweet boy with the diagnosis, interim care, and his final journey.

The doctor is on top of his game. The staff are always extremely nice and well informed. They have been treating both my cat and dog for years now.i couldnt think of a better place to care for my loved ones.

They are a tad more expensive but they actually take the time I have never felt like a number. And most important I never feel rushed or like it is a drive by. Zeus and Rocky live the staff.

Unfortunately, I have only use their services once. I had to take the family dog there at the end of her life.They handled her with tremendous care. The staff was very informative, respectful, and caring.I ended up there because there right around the corner from where we live, but I would definitely take any future pets there for regular care.

Love this place have been bringing my dogs here for years. Level of care is great. When my other dog had to be put down the doctor and staff were so caring. It meant so much to me at a really sad time. Highly recommend.

I set an appointment to have my dog groomed.. I showed up and was turned down service because my pup was matted. However the groomer who was on duty was nice enough to offer service at her private home. The price was too expensive so I just brought my own grooming pet Clippers and had my neighbor shave my baby down instead for a lot less than $150 bucks. Thanks Highlands for saying no. Ill be grooming at home for now on

Best care ever. I have had four dog seen through them for over 10 years. When two of my dogs passed, I received a condolence card from them. Their prices are worth the care and treatment your pet will receive!

I was blown away by this veterinary office! The vet techs were phenomenal and took such care with my highly anxious pup. Highly recommend going to this clinic-you can tell everyone truly cares for animals. Relieved that I have found an excellent new vet for my little fur child!

Dr. Sam takes really good care of my cat,she has urinary issues and they do laser treatmentAbout once a month, it seems to help. The staff is wonderful everyone is so nice they act like they really care about my cat

Ava (our Siberian Husky) loves Dr. Springer and the amazing staff at Highlands. He identified immediate and long-term dangers for her in a manner that I could understand and watch for. Additionally, he provided me a treatment plan that made a near-death emergency into a miraculous recovery and his online pharmacy enabled me to the get prescriptions for her through the mail. Were looking forward to introducing Ginger (our yellow lab) to him soon. Thanks again!

Our beloved Lulu was seen at this location for the last two and a half years. We never had any issues here. Lulu needed a specialty vet and they knew they didnt have the capability so they referred me to The Cove in Suffolk. That was the best recommendation! I know it would be a far drive for most but it would be well worth it! Thank you for everything you did for our fur baby!

Staff was very friendly, however, the Vet never introduced himself or never offered to shake my hand(first time visit). It was a very cold introduction. I felt very rushed while he was is the room. I was asking questions and after each short answer, he would start to gather his things to leave. Never asked if I had anymore questions. My puppy was dragged to the weigh scale by his collar. It was his first time to the vet and the staff continued to pick him up and get in his face. By the time he was on the table he was shaking. A very, very negative experience for his first time to the vet. No one took the time to make sure he was comfortable before he was examined. Again, they were nice to me, Im just not sure how equipped they are to handle my animal the correct way. Unfortunately, Ill be finding another vet.

First I would like to state that this was a very sad trip to the vet for myself and my 14 year old dog who’s qualify of life had been low for quite some time so we had decided it was time to put her down. Not an easy decision but Highlands staff was very comforting and sweet. They gave me all the time I needed and were just exceptional. Now fast forward a few days later and I get the most heart felt card, which was very personal with small passages from employees, not just a generic card. They went above and beyond given the situation. I would definitely recommend them for anyone’s pets needs.

Horrible Place DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE! The vet only seems to care about the money. I wish I would have taken my pet somewhere else. I took my 14 year old Chihuahua to this place on Friday afternoon. He was having problems breathing. After $50.00 for just walking in the door and $160. for the x-rays. I found out that my dog had a collapsed Tracheal. (VERY BAD NEWS)! His air way was blocked. Now my Chihuahua was 14, he was somewhat blind and def, he had very bad arthritis in his hips. He had also lost control of his bladder. I was told by the vet he could give an antibiotic they may or may not help! Bottom line I had to make a very difficult decision that afternoon. After I was given the news I never saw the VET again only his staff. It was $57 for he shoot to put him down and if I wanted to hold him during this process it would cost me $127.00. (WHY) To have the cremation done and sent to me $169.00. Money Money and more money. Never did the vet sit down with me to discuss options and what would he thought would be best. He had NO sympathy no compassion. Never said I sorry about your pet. STAY AWAY!

My dog was so sick. Got him meds and insulin. Hes back to happy dog.

They have taken great care of my dogs. I have one with seizures and her seizures have been greatly reduced in amount in severity since her treatment at Highlands. When my one beagle was missing and found, they got her in same day for a health check. Luckily, only problem was down a couple of pounds. Jeanette and Barbara are the best front office vet staff I have come by! My foxhound is quite a handful with her fear of others but have always been accommodating when she has appointments.

I really like this vet! They always have an appointment for my busy schedule and they truly care about my pets. They are reasonably priced as well.

There are no words to explain how wonderful this vet team is. My sweet pup had a freak accident that put her in shock and she was holding on to life by almost nothing. I rushed her here (not even knowing this office but it was just the closest place) and I can now say this will be our forever vet for all my furbabies. She went from the team confirming with us that we would want them to resuscitate her if needed, to bringing my sweet baby home a couple hours later. She still has a long road ahead to recovery, but the team that works here are truly Angels. They called first thing in the morning to check on her and answered every possible question I had. The vet tech Amanda was so wonderful to my sweet girl and to us I cannot thank her enough. They truly did everything they could for Marlee, and saved her life. The employees are great and the care is also great but a bit pricy

Staff is friendly; however, it is very clear that their workers smoke because EVERY TIME I go there my cats reek of cigarettes after being handled. Their location is convenient but since this reaccuring issue Ive been going to another vet.

I have been taking my Yorkie there for over 13 years. They have always fit me in when she is sick. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They listen to what I have to say about her care, as I am trying to go more holistic. She has renal desease, and refuses to eat the KD diet, the doctor suggested to try a senior dog food as it has less protein, fat and phosphates which is taxing on her kidneys. They call and check on her after a sick visit to be sure everything is OK......I highly recommend them, only wish they were a little cheaper.

Absolutely terrible. This place only cares about getting your money. They could care less about your pets. My dog went in for a teeth cleaning and left with neurological problems. One fixed and dilated pupil and extremely unsteady. They took absolutely no responsibility and wanted payment for a post op check up when this was clearly a complication. I blame them for destroying the life of my best friend and hopefully this review will keep people away.

I took my dog there a few months ago for grooming pick the dog after a few hours went back home, I hold my oh my the neck to take the collard off and there it was a freaking TICK stuck to his neck great job. Dont recommend this place to anyone at all, stay out.

Everytime we need to be seen for anything were told we need to get an exam!! Just had an exam in may 2016 go in to get flea meds were told needs another exam in order to get flea meds because the exam we had 7 months ago was a different exam even though it cost the same and on the receipt it states physical exam. I just called to get an explanation cause when I called to have him seen in may they said they had to do an exam before they could issue antibiotics incase he was sick so we were ok with that now we bring him in for a bordetella vacine and ask about flea prevention and they say we need to give him an exam in order to give him flea prevention!!!! Weve been to alot of different vets over the years and have been going her for the past 7 years. Its a shame because now that I look back over the years it used to feel good when I left confident that my dog was healthy and now everytime I go it feels like Im going to this vet for the first time because its so impersonal they dont spend anytime with the dog no petting or talking to the dog or any kind of interaction at all! Pretty obvious that greed has taken over another practice... oh well on to the next! Theyve lost our business & will not refer another person to this practice.
