Before moving my mother to the Chattanooga area, we researched and visited several facilities. We found Summit View to be the best for residence options, activities and staff. My mother has flourished there and truly loves living there. She stays physically active, has wonderful friends and participates in all activities. When the Covid 19 pandemic affected all our lives, Summit View immediately followed the state and CDC guidelines to protect residents and staff. Although we are unable to visit our loved one, we feel assured she is truly cared for. The staff has arranged car parades for special events so we can celebrate. We can drop off any needed supplies and surprises that are sanitized promptly and hand delivered. We look forward to a time we can give Mom a big hug and go shopping! Until then, we are grateful for the care and safety at Summit View.

My mother has called Summit View home for 4 1/2 years. The staff has always treated her like family. As a frequent visitor I have witnessed first hand the care and attention the staff offers the residents. My mother has always enjoyed gardening. When staff members became aware of her interest they encouraged her to continue her hobby in the gardens there at Summit View. When the covid virus forced them to quarantine the staff really stepped up. They have planned activities that have helped combat the loneliness that comes from being separated from loved ones. Each resident has a clubhouse where they can gather with their friends to visit or take part in planned activities. Each week has a theme with meals and activities that enhance the theme. Residents have recieved extra attention as the staff have taken on some of the tasks that, in normal times, family members would do. Mothers medical appointments have been by telemed. This would not have been possible without the assistance of the caring staff at Summit View. I am so grateful for all the extra care she has received during a difficult time. It has given me peace if mind to know that she is being well cared for during this time that I cant be with her.

Summit View is exactly the care facility we needed for our friend when he was unable to care entirely for himself. The staff; from management to nurses, to administrative, to the cafe personnel, security and all of the individuals who fill in the needs of our friend we say THANK YOU!What we love about Summit View is their beautiful quiet location, the inviting lobby and decor, the bird feeders everywhere and an entire daily activity calendar for their guests. They even have a library and a beauty shop!Our friend lost a leg and was in very poor condition but when he began his rehab at SV it made him stronger in so many ways. They focus on the individual needs of their guest. Not only has he become more mobile but his entire outlook on his life and future has changed. He’s happy, content and improving everyday.We owe a deep gratitude to SV and it’s staff. Their day in day out care during this Covid pandemic has been nothing short of incredible. Daily meals delivered, medications delivered, assistance with laundry and so much more. We can’t thank them enough.We could go on and on in giving our praises but perhaps the highest praise is to say that we made a perfect choice in a difficult time and it’s because of the facility, staff and their genuine care that set Summit View apart.Again, to all the staff at SV, on behalf of my wife and I, and most importantly Wayne, we say THANK YOU!!!

Summit View Senior Community has truly been a blessing to our family. Kendra Coulter and her caring staff helped us transition our parents into an independent living apartment that was just perfect for meeting our family members needs. The staffs compassion and love for the residents is evident in all the day to day operations.While the pandemic has brought tremendous challenges to healthcare facilities, the leadership at Summit View has worked tirelessly on behalf of residents to keep the facility virus-free. The delicate balance of keeping residents socially distant and yet continuing the programming specifically designed to stimulate social interaction among residents has been a challenge, but the staff is committed to their residents physical, mental, spiritual and emotional well being while keeping safety as the top priority.We are so thankful to have found Summit View and we are confident that they will continue to assist us in meeting the needs of our loved ones with continued excellence in the future.

The entire staff is genuinely thoughtful, caring and committed to excellent care for those in residence. I have visited on numerous occasions. It is impressive how competent and caring each staff member is. My uncle and the rest of the family are truly blessed to have such a facility for his home. My praise goes to Kendra Coulter but includes Brittany and Tyler. Great ladies each one.

My father spent the last year of his life at Summit View. His health declined a lot over the last two years of his life. I will always be grateful for the kindness and compassion of the staff at Summit View. They always treated my father with dignity and respect. I visited my father often due to his health and the love and support we received at Summit View was amazing.

I have been at Summit View for 1 1/2 years and it has been a blessing for us every step of the way. The people inside this place we call home have such heart both staff and all our neighbors here.There is staff that has been here for 12 + years.  They have helped assist some of the residents since they moved in here, and their experience is passed on to new staff.My husband just recently has had a very serious health issue. He was in the hospital for a few weeks. I was told by a long time staff that all of the residents and staff were very concerned and he was in their thoughts and prayers.We really like living here.It has felt like home since we first moved in.

This place is roaches infected and the food look nasty...People is unhappy there...Managers are disrespectful to employees ...Please put your family in other places beside this place..They dont have the equipment for the people to be back in good health .Kendra needs to learn how to treat they employees that work there ..it not good things about this place

Summit View is a really good value in an assisted living/retirement center. The amenities are good. The place is kept very clean. Theres a great view of the mountain from the location. The director is very knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and capable. I would highly recommend this facility for a budget conscious senior. My parent really enjoys being here.

I have been visiting a resident at Summit View on a regular basis for several years now. I have always been impressed with the cleanliness and decor of the facility, the friendly staff who truly care about the residents and the number and variety of activities that are offered. Summit View has a philosophy of giving their residents every opportunity to remain independent and live up to their full potential. If assisted living becomes necessary they have very nice accommodations for that as well.

I would like to say I am with a client here whom is wonderful, not only that the staff is extremely hard working and try so hard to make the clients happy with activities that are creative and help them in so many ways mentally physically emotionally and spiritually. This is a like a big family I am blessed to have the privilege to work with and around such caring loving people!!!

I worked for this facility and what you see behind the scenes is disgusting. They have rats and rat feces in the kitchen, roaches, spiders, feces all over the doors and walls due to a resident but they didn’t clean it up. They neglected one resident while I worked there for 5 days so I’m sure they’ve been doing it! Those older people deserve a better place to call home!!!!!

I have worked for this facility in the rehabilitation department. The building is unsanitary and quality care is poor with caregiving/nursing. The state really needs to intervene with this building. Please send your family to another facility for services.

Wonderful and caring staff, great environment . Best place in the East Tennessee area by far. My Dad has been to many different places in the area and he loves it here.

Exceptionally creative program. Keeps people independent longer than most doctors think possible. Very little slipping downhill into a nursing home. Years ahead of its time

This is a home not a facility! They care about the reisdents and are very supportive of the families.
