I have been with Hickory Valley since April of this year. Before joining the team, I would visit the community regularly with my previous employer. When I walk in the front doors here, it is like walking into a home. The staff and residents are very warm and welcoming and I am very proud to be a part of this community. Hickory Valley is a fun, safe and supportive community for yourself or a family member.

I worked as a cook for 1 week and it was horrible.Management is pathetic and lazy.You will work by yourself doing it all while they sit down and won’t help.Very disrespectful and disorganized.

My grandmother lived several years here. She was extremely happy and proud of her home here. The staff was always very helpful and welcoming to our family as we visited. I have nothing but the utmost appreciation for everything they did and how they managed the community. They truly made a difference.

I was at Hickory Valley Retirement this evening. I ate in the dining room. Oh my, the food was great. The chicken parmesan was comparable to Olive Garden. The garlic mashed potatoes were hand made and delicious. The banana pudding was also made fresh and the best I have had in a long time. Every staff person I came across greeted me with a smile and very nice words. Definitely felt home-like and is very beautifully kept in every way. Love it.

I volunteer here pretty frequently, and I absolutely love it here! The staff is excellent and professional, and all of the residents are so sweet and caring, Ive never had a bad experience here and it ends up being my favorite part of my day every time I get the pleasure of visiting here! I would highly recommend it!

We have met with Shannon at the home and we are so impressed with the knowledge, information, and comfort she has provided. If you need someone who is on the ball, can get things done, and be mindful of your family concerns look no further. Newly remodeled facility and we are so pleased with them all!

We have been very impressed with Hickory Valley and its management. The new renovation of the facility is lovely and we could not have asked for a more helpful and caring staff. Their professionalism and support has brought a tremendous relief to our family for the continuing care of my father.

I am not quite ready for a retirement community but when I am, this is where I will go. The staff is amazing! The building is beautiful and the residents are so sweet. When I went for a tour, they could not have been more gracious and kind. If you are looking for a retirement community, look no further! Hickory Valley is awesome!!!!!

Hickory Valley has been serving the Chattanooga area community for more than 30 years. They have an excellent reputation. When evaluating communities ask about their occupancy and retention rates. Theres a reason Hickory Valley tends to have a waiting list.

I have worked as ortho nurse20+yrs til retired. Ive seen what is BAD. Ive seen ok. I did my homework. I did secret shopper before calling.The activities my mom will never be bored.! I know fake medical people. First phone call talk with shannon B an i knew this was an upstanding place. They also help me get in touch with VA nonprofit helpers. Im happy for my mom to be in secure happy independent living retirement complex!!

This place is extremely unprofessional and negligent. I have a family member who resides here and they keep confusing her diabetic medication, which could very well be life threatening. They are non nonchalant about the urgency of solving the problem and are completely apathetic to the well being of my loved one. To make matters worse, the nurses are rude and uncaring. People like this should not be working in a field where care, empathy and urgency should be at the for front of care. We feel very betrayed. Please do not ever send your loved ones here.

Super nice!! I wasnt the person doing leg work but i felt non refundable deposit a bit high. But i paid it as this place is clean, nice, updated. An i wouldnt want my family in nothing less. Very happy we said yes to this place! I know whst nasty is i work in public everyday.!! Residents even seem happy an friendly. Thumbs up to shannon B, judy, billy an everyone i spoke with before they knew i was looking.
