My wife and I had gone to Optical Matters for years and then our eye insurance changed and was not available at Optical Matters. We tried several top name providers in South Denver, and after receiving poor quality exams and glasses chose to go back to Optical Matters and pay out of pocket for their outstanding service. Dr. Gosling and staff are the best team we have found and could not be happier! You will not find another Dr. that cares more about your vision than Dr, Gosling.

I can not give enough stars to tell you how amazing Dr. Gosling and his entire staff are! My family and I have been going here for 10 years and I have never been disappointed! I will admit one year my husband fell for the Americas Best deal...to get you in for very cheap. I cant tell you how bad his glasses were....scratches from the get go and after all of the secret add on charges...we paid more than at Optical Matters! Do yourself a favor and look no more....this is the place for the best eye exam and selection of frames! Amzing sunglasses also! I was there during the thick of Covid pandemic and they are taking every precaution and more to make sure everyone is safe! Kudos to the whole team! You guys ROCK!!

This was THE BEST experience we have ever had with an optometrist! Dr. Gosling offers an exceptional exam from start to finish. He was extremely patient and he explained everything so well to us. He’s honest and doesn’t try to up sell you on anything. He just wants to help you. He also repaired the bridge piece on my current lenses for free.Anyways, they just blew us away! This vision practice is very well managed. Such professional reception, appointment & call-handling from the younger generation, was better than expected. its not just training that matters, its true people-skill, courtesies and being spoken to and treated with respect. The eye exam procedure was thorough, complete and explanations were provided. There was no show-off attitude. Getting the right information, the first time didnt waste clients time, the physicians time or business time. Everything was covered without flaw in less than 23 minutes. This was not a rushed eye exam --- it was thoroughly professional from every staff member at this facility.

Recently took my 93 year old father to see Dr Gosling. I work in patient care and have pretty high expectations when going into a new Dr’s office. This office exceeded my expectations. Everyone was so kind and professional. Dr Gosling spent a lot of time with my dad and mad him feel important. We have been to other offices where he was just dismissed because he was old. Told me they take My health care plan made a appropriate appointment a week out. Come the day, waited 40 min for them to tell me they don’t take my version of United Health Care. I am 50 years old and it was not until I met the Doc at Optical Matters 3 years ago that I finally was properly diagnosed, given a thorough explanation and a correct prescription. In addition Lisa at the front desk is always friendly (so is the Doc) and the whole experience is top notch. Ill never go to a different eye Doctor.

We recently purchased new glasses and contacts and found the process very helpful by all the staff. Dr. Gosling did a good job at answering all my extra questions about my eyes. When the first pair of glasses wasnt exactly right they re-examined and ordered another pair, at no personal cost of course, and they are perfect.

Id recently purchased a new pair of frames from a different optometrists office, but they werent fitting well, leaving me in constant pain. Id gone back to that office to have them readjusted four separate times, but despite their best efforts, nothing seemed to help. So I decided to take my frames someplace else and see if I had better luck. After looking at reviews of Optical Matters, I called to see if theyd be willing to help me out. They said Yes. Just come by and ask for Mark. I did. Despite the fact that I wasnt yet a patient of theirs and hadnt even spent so much as a dollar on their business, Mark took the time to listen and understand the issues I was experiencing with my frames, and then used his expertise to make some adjustments for me. Optical Matters has an incredibly friendly and amazingly helpful staff! I was visiting from out of state when I lost a contact lens. They were extremely helpful and provided me with a lens that I could use until I made it home. I only wish they were located in my state and this would be my new eye doctor! Dr. Gosling always does an excellent job of getting the perfect contact prescription for me. I have been a customer for over 7 years and would strongly recommend him as an opthamologist. He is thorough, compassionate and makes sure you get the right vision correction that you need. He gets 5 stars.However, the last time I was there the front office staff left a lot to be desired. After my checkup I asked the staff to see what my insurance would cover and they looked it up and let me know. I ordered 1 box of contacts for the left and one box for the right eye. They told me that the order would be in within a week. A bit over a week passed and I hadnt heard about my contact order. When I called them they told me that no order was placed as they thought that I just wanted to try them out first. ( I have had the same contacts and prescription for 7 years and was given no samples to try). So I asked them again to order 1 box for each eye. I received an e-mail within a few days stating that my contacts had arrived. When I went to pick them up they had ordered two boxes for each eye and asked how I would be paying for them. I stated that I had asked them for 1 box each and when I was last there they checked my insurance and that it would be covered.I dont appreciate that the staff paid absolutely no attention to the conversations that patients have with them.They did get the order correct and I have never had this issue before so maybe it was a fluke and just a few bad days the person was having.

Great eye doctor. He discovered a problem I had been struggling with for 10 years that no other doctor had found. I thought it was normal but after having the correct prescription I am finally free of the constant headaches. The ladies that run the front office have been awesome as well.They have helped me in so many ways I cannot thank them enough. They also understand that everyone has a budget and try their best to work with you if you cant pay all at once. They do require you pay for the exam up front, but if you order glasses ask if you can pay when they come in ;-)

Bad experience. Doctor was very good, exam was great and he explained things well. After several return visits did not have good result from front office; strong arm tactics to upsell more expensive products that were not necessary. Felt like a car dealership.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. I once took in a pair of glasses for my daughter that had a broken frame. They went through almost every pair of glasses on the shelf to find a frame that the lenses would fit into.

Even after living away for ten years, I still make the trek back to Littleton to visit Dr. Gosling and the fantastic staff at Optical Matters. Dr. Gosling is not only incredibly knowledgable and competent but also warm, friendly, and remembers details from our conversations over the years. I cannot recommend him enough!
