My family and I used to be loyal patients of this practice since 2015. At my most recent appointment here, I arrived about 17 minutes late for my appointment. I called on my way to tell them that this was going to be the case. Once I got there, I apologized for being late and explained to them that I was stuck in traffic and it took me almost an hour and half to get there. The person at the desk said that there was no way I could be seen as I was 2 minutes past the 15 minute mark. I told them that I was ok with my appointment being shortened and waiting however long to be seen. But alas, they still told me I was out of luck and could reschedule for an appointment over a month away. To be treated like that after 7 years of attending this practice is unacceptable.We will definitely not be back.The last two times that I have gotten glasses here, it has taken two to four times as long to actually receive them as what was promised. I recommend they take a look at their own punctuality rather than berating that of an apologetic patient.

The doctors here are amazing, unfortunately since My Eye Dr has taken over I have had nothing but problems. The young man who works at the front desk often seems like he has no idea what is happening. He needs to be trained to better assist patients instead of answering questions and issues with “I don’t know”. Like another reviewer has said the customer service has severely dipped since being acquired. Prior to this I would have recommended this place to friends and family, now I recommend people stay away.

Dr Udeen is amazing! So happy I finally found an eye doctor that knows what he is doing. I will be back and I highly recommend!

Went in for my annual exam and was given a prescription for allergy eye and was told to schedule a follow-up. The eye drops made my eyes worse so I schedule the follow-up to only be told that its an office visit not a follow-up and I would have to pay for an office visit. Which I dont understand because the eye drop you gave me during my annual exam made my eye worse. Then I go check on my glasses that I had ordered almost a month ago to only fine out that they where in but I was never notified.

I totally trust the Dr at Family Eye Clinic. I have been going for many, many years. I am a type 2 Diabetic, & researched eye clinics before choosing one. I have Optimaps there from the beginning. This way, I know that even if I have to change my Doctor, my visual records are all there, in the same place. All of their Doctors & Staff are high quality, and very helpful.

Optician wasnt consistent with her medical advice making one think she may not know what she is talking about. I believe her name was Katie.I opted to get the extra eye screening, waste of money. First year I did it, Katie said the small dot in my left eye could have been from my mother eating too much red meat when I was in the womb. Sounded odd. Next year I go back she says I could have diabetes, though I had just gone to my regular doctor and gotten a full blood panel with no issues.Wont be returning here when their advice isnt consistent causing a loss of trust.Yes, it may be a newer law that every patient in for a contact exam requires a contact fitting, but its not the government who told your office to charge a ridiculous $75 for it.

Doctor Shaff was extremely helpful and nice in solving all my problems

Been a patient here since I was a child. The doctors are great but ever since they were acquired the customer service has taken a turn for the worse. Took them over four months to deliver my brother’s glasses order and now my glasses are similarly delayed. I asked what the hold up was and I received two answers from two different people. The first told me that the order was never digitally transmitted to the lab and they had to start all over. The second called me the very next day to say that the glasses didn’t pass inspection. One of them has incorrect information but it is completely unacceptable to have this level of customer service. I’ll keep coming here for eye exams but count me out as a hardware customer.

My pharmacy called on 9/1 9/4 9/7 and I called today for a refill for my eye drops. NO one will call back and I need my eye drops. I guess I have to pay for it out of my pocket. Your office is HORRIBLE

I have been a patient of Dr. Shoeners for years and love her. Unfortunately something changed at their office recently and the customer service is horrendous. Ive been trying to order more contact lenses for 2 days and cannot get through, nor have I received a call back. They now have an answering service, I waited 8 minutes to leave a request for a callback. So disappointing!Update: I received a call back from Family Eye and their office was in fact closed for a bit while they transitioned to a new system. They were apologetic of the inconvenience and handled my order right away.

It took 3 months to get my glasses. They tried to give me the wrong ones the first time I picked them up. After a decade of bringing my kids here I can’t believe how terrible the service has gotten. Do not try to buy glasses here - you will waste a lot of time and be very frustrated.

We have been with this practice for nearly a year and would not recommend them. We have given them several chances, but we’re consistently disappointed. Long wait times, poor communication, no common sense, no return calls on a voicemail, cannot deliver products within a respectable timeframe, ridiculous policies. We’ve had enough. My son and my husband are both patients here and both have had bad experiences. We have good vision insurance coverage, we pay our bill, but I refuse to deal with their lack of customer service anymore. We still don’t have contact lenses for my son, due to their impractical policies.Update: I received a personal phone call from Dr. Seider, and I would like to amend my initial review. We have never had a problem with Dr. Seider, and she has been excellent. Our main stream of problems came from the optical team and the front desk staff. They were difficult to work with and we weren’t given any options when trying to get broken glasses repaired. That said, they are going through a company merger right now and the lines of communication have been broken. My heart goes out to them, and we wish them best of luck in the future.

Family Eye Clinic is a GREAT place to work! After working here the past 11+ years, I am thankful for my work family as well as all of the patients that come see us!!

My family and I have been going here for 10 years and we are still impressed and amazed each time we go by the extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff, almost all of which have been the same for the past 10 years, which is amazing. It feels like I am visiting old friends every year I go back for my annual checkup, they are all so nice. The staff and doctors spend as much time with you as you need answering questions, giving advice, helping pick out glasses and contacts and educating you through the entire process. I wholeheartedly recommend Family Eye Clinic and cannot say enough nice things about them, they are awesome!

I want to comment on the excellent service of Kim who orders, fits and adjusts all of your glasses. She went beyond expectations and was able to get me glasses that I was completely satisfied with since I was highly allergic to many metals. Thank you Kim!

My visits are always a delight starting when I walk in the door. Greatest my the office staff with a “good morning” and a smile.I start off my checkup with Nate, so refreshing to see someone who truly enjoys his job and patients. He provided me with information with each procedure.Dr Uddin explained everything in detail.Have been coming to this group for many years and each and every visit is the same. Outstanding staff and service.

Great overall experience! It was easy to set up an appointment, the staff was friendly, and the doctor helped me understand my new contact perscription and my eye exam results by explaining everything in simple English. Felt like I could ask questions too. Also, saved $100 on a years supply of contact lenses (better than any offer I found online).

My first experience with Family Eye was fantastic! The entire staff was extremely helpful. Technician Nate and Dr. Kruglet explained everything in lay terms so I was able to understand exactly what was happening with my vision. Completely satisfied and will recommend them to everyone I know!

Everything you want in an eye doctor, and nothing you dont! The clinical and support staff are warm, funny, and affable. The pricing is more than fair. The products (contact lenses) are great. Dr. Uddin got me out of my prehistoric RPG lenses and into an oh-so-comfortable set of soft lenses and the difference is night and day!

This place is awesome. I love the staff and the doctors. Will always recommend.

This office is amazing! I had my eye exam with Dr.Uddin and he was very professional and knowledgeable. The entire staff does a great job of communicating every step of the process. I have very complicated eyes and love my new CRT orthokeratology lenses. I dropped my vision insurance, but their My eye card plan is much better than the previous vision insurance I had. Ill definitely be coming here again for all my eye exams.

We could not be happier with our experiences at Family Eye Clinic. Dr. Kruglet continuously works with us by helping us determine the best corrections for our children, who are both significantly near-sided. He provides us with sample contacts to decide which is best before needing to put in a full order. We also had great experience with fitting for glasses and finding out what our eye insurance provides with Kim. The front desk is always helpful when I request a copy of our prescriptions - they respond in a timely and efficient manners. Finally, the techs, especially Nate, are very knowledgeable and work especially well with my teenage children. I really feel like Dr. Kruglet has our best interest in mind when providing care to us.

I started going to Family Eye Clinic over 12 years ago, and its been the best experience. Everyone is professional and fun.

I went in to find out about appointments and insurance and walked out with new nose pieces (and Im not even a patient yet)!!! Thank You!! Great service.

Our insurance changed and we wanted to see if the new insurance would work. We had to call 4 times, explained the situation, were told they would check, and never got an answer. Then right before our appointment we get a call saying they dont take the insurance. We wasted weeks trying to find this out and thinking we had an appointment to go to. The woman said this is how the do it, they refused to check the insurance until the last second. Never had such a strange experience. Used to love this place but they ruined things.

Friendly staff, and they saw me within 5 minutes of the quoted appointment time (which, as you know, is rare these days).

I am a difficult fit for contacts and FEC goes above and beyond to ensure the fit and vision is top notch
