Terrible bedside manner. Comes in & spends very little time with you. Will not even look at your legs. Sends you to get an ultrasound & that’s it. Does not listen to concerns or wishes. He has his own agenda & that’s it. Even during a procedure, Dr Varu does not take the time to be thorough but great to charge. Very unhappy. Will not go back.

Would give. ZERO if I could....Waited in the exam room for one hour for a consultation. The Dr. never came in...I went out into the hallway and asked the nurse when I would be seen and she said he was doing a procedure and she really didn’t know when he would be finished... so I left. No one even acknowledged me as I left and didn’t seem to care... I wasted 2 hours to have nothing accomplished.. not good...They lost me as a patient.

I hesitate to write this review only because I chose to have this procedure done. However, I want express my deep regret for doing this to myself. First of all I got a blood clot which apparently is a risk. It has caused horrible swelling in my ankle. The doctor keeps saying it will go away with time but it has been 5 months now. The only relief I get is when I wear compression socks. Which I never had to do before and in the heat of summer it’s not very practical. Veins are showing up in places that I never had before and my legs just look worse than ever before. My activity level has suffered from the swelling because it hurts after awhile. I don’t understand how this can improve the circulation or whatever it was supposed to do. It’s worse!

Dr. Varu has changed my life by ablating my Varicose Veins. I had the procedure done on both my legs about 6 weeks ago and I love to walk again. 😃I immediately felt better as soon as each procedure was done. I am now walking up to 6 miles a day and Ive lost 12 pounds so far. The procedure was quick and easy, I went back to work the same day.I didnt have any visual indications of varicose veins, no puffy or purple veins whatsoever, just extreme constant pain in my legs and feet. Unfortunately, without visual signs of varicose veins, I dealt with the pain for 20 years.I feel like I have won the lottery, I can clean, work and enjoy life with these brand new legs! I can explore again.Dont wait, just call and see Dr. Varu. I am so very glad I found him. All of the ladies in his team are helpful & professional and the office is kept very clean.

I contacted , on another doctors recommendations, Dr. Varu during the lockdown of covid19 which they worked quickly to get me the appropriate testing. Very thankful i went to him as i had four blood clots in my left leg. I was at serious risk of losing my leg. Dr. Varu immediately put me the hospital and he did four procedures on my leg in four days. I saw him two days later he was optimistic that I would keep my leg, but arranged for me to get HBOT to increase the chances of a positive recovery. It is 4 months later and i am doing well and it looks like my leg, my foot and toes are staying with me. The cardiologist i saw said had the best outcome he had seen with the issues I had. I attribute that to Dr. Varu fighting for me to keep my leg.I would highly recommend him.

I will always recommend Tevan Vein and Vascular for a number of reason. For one, Dr. Varu and his team, has always made us feel more like family than a patient. And, Ms. Dennise is always ready to assist you with questions, concerns, or just for a nice friendly chat...I also appreciate that Dr. Varu is very thorough when he examin his patients. His bedside manners makes it easier for you to understand and receive the information he has to provide.To this day, we are THANKFUL we reached out for treatment. The results has been amazing.🙏

Please note my review is strictly based off trying to schedule an appointment. I was referred by the ER to Dr. Varus office on a Friday. Monday I faxed the referral as the receptionist said they never received it and did not offer to retrieve herself. Tuesday I was told I would by COB receive a call regarding scheduling no call was made. Today now is Wednesday and still no communication from the office. My condition may or may not be something to worry about but I dont know as I have never heard of this condition. To be told to follow up ASAP and to be ignored is disheartening. I did have another vascular surgeon pull my CT and they scheduled me an appointment right away. Dr. Varu seems to be highly skilled and I am sure he is a great doctor. Shame that the personnel working for him seem to not have their game together.

Had some complications due to varicose veins and Dr. Varu fixed me up along with his wonderful staff. Great to have my leg back in good shape. Everyone has been very nice so far and the procedures were extremely minimal. Went to work the same day for all of my procedures. Definitely would recommend! Thank you once again.

They were very thorough, explained things really well, made me feel comfortable and not like I was just another patient. Were really good with working with my stubborn insurance company. The whole staff at Texan Vein & Vascular were fantastic. My right and left leg were very red and swollen and was in a lot of pain. Jeremy did an ultra sound on my legs and found out the blood was not pumping back up to my heart. I had Venous Insufficiency. When Doctor Varu performed the leg surgery the had a some music for me. My feet and legs are a lot better. As my fiancee says that I have shapely legs now.George Davis

Dr.Varu took the time to explain everything about my condition to me and answered all the questions I had. He has a nice presence in the room when hes in there since he has that friendly vibe. He also has a lot of experience in this specialty so I recommend you check him out if youre having vascular issues.

This review is a long time coming. I have been under the care of this wonderful practice for a little over a year now. Im a complicated case! At 50 years old, I finally made the decision to improve my legs. Not only the way they feel, but the way they look as well. I suffered from a combination of varicose veins and spider veins and after looking around for a qualified physician, discovered Dr. Varu. He is an extremely qualified and sincerely caring professional. Dr. Varus staff is amazing as well and I almost feel like family when I visit. I highly recommend Dr. Varu, he performed miracles on my brothers foot when another surgeon stated there was very little they could do. A week after surgery, the toes we were told could not be helped had significant improvement and we actually saw normal skin tone in more than half of the toes. Nice job Dr. Varu!

Well the first time I called the receptionist didnt even know was a laser ablation was which was very sketchy to me. So considering this was the closest place to me I figured Id try again. So when I called she told me she would have to call me back and she never did. This place is ridiculous. You need to find someone who is knowledgeable as a receptionist and also returns peoples telephone call.

I have taken my mother there through her veins, she felt very bad and Dr. Varu and all her workers, especially Tania, behaved expectantly with us the times that I could not go with my mother Tania to translated by my mom and my Mommy says that she feels very grateful to them and she is very happy with the work I did, apart they will take out the veins that look like aranitas without any combination ...
