The office stuff is unprofessional. They give us for my son surgery estimated payments $600 and when he has surgery we have to pay after insurance $2400. Its really very bad service, I had never any other doctor that kind of experience. They are making money thats way. We dont have choice that time, my son already have braces and this surgery part of the treatment. So we have to done this surgery. I really upset about this doctor service. They told us they didnt included all thing need to done, I dont understand whats the estimated payment they make. How its big amounts difference.

Dr. Knell removed my top 2 wisdom teeth just yesterday morning (12.6.19) and did a fantastic job! I was already feeling great the same day that late afternoon and even better by this morning.Dr. Knell, himself, called the same afternoon to follow up and ask how my recovery was going.He was very thorough and even welcomed me to call with any concerns or questions along the way. I appreciated that very much.Overall, I am very pleased with his work as well as the whole friendly office team!

Getting my wisdom teeth out has always been one of my biggest fears so after putting it off for years, I finally decided to get it done. I had three wisdom teeth out yesterday morning and I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Ding!! I was in for surgery and out within 30 min. Woke up the next day with zero pain and very minimal swelling. This entire experience was so much better then I was worried about!

Despite other health conditions present Dr. Ding was able to quickly and easily perform two extractions under IV sedation.His staff is friendly, courteous and attentive. He personally called the day after the oral surgery to check on us and to see if there is anything we needed, or if we had any questions about the post operative care information we were given.Dr. Ding now treats several members of my family, we trust him and his care with everything from routine procedures to complicated cases - and we have always been impressed with the results of his care and the compassion he has for his patients.As a medical professional myself, I am confident in recommending Dr. Ding and his staff. I have some dental complexity to address along with other professionals and I have been encouraged by the high standard of treatment, explanations and communication between parties. Really a 5 for Dr. Ding and his assistants. I reduced by 2 due to a billing nightmare. Of course you are required to either have insurance or pay the entire amount up front by cash or credit. At the time of the consult, I was unaware that my daughter was still on my wifes plan so I put the whole amount on care credit. When I went back with the insurance information they assured me they would credit back the amounts owed as soon as they got paid by my carrier. The procedure itself was credited after many phone calls by me but the consult and x ray which was verified to be paid a month ago is still not credited. All I get is a run around and promises to call me back after they call the insurance company to verify payment. They were quick and sure to take my money before they did anything but now its a different story. Shame on me for not being aware of the coverage, but it was an emergency and I was at the mercy of expediency. Lesson...Make sure you cover all your bases before dealing with a billing issue with them. Peace Out!

I had all 4 wisdom removed with Dr. Ding and his surgical assistant and I could not be more pleased with the entire process. This was my first surgery which had introduced a lot of needless anxiety for me.On my second day of recovery and I could not be more than happy than I am. Theres been no post-surgery issues at all - no pain, no inflammation, no excessive fluids.Regardless, Dr. Ding gave me a call personally the evening of the surgery to check and ensure everything was going good and what I should do if any issues came out.Thanks to the experience I will be much less apt to let my anxiety prevent me from getting needed medical procedures from here on out. Dr. Knell explained every step of the procedure and ensured I was informed bout every step pre and post procure. I had special medical issues and was concerned on how it would impact my procedure. He took time to hear my concerns and addressed each until I felt comfortable with the procedure. Special thanks to him and his entire team. The Doctor and his staff were very friendly, special thanks to Valerie for going out of her way for me. I felt like they truly care about me as a person and not just a patient. I was so nervous to come and have my extraction done because it was the first time I was going to be put under for a procedure like this but I cannot put in words how amazing Dr Ding and his entire staff was from beginning to end! I had so many questions and concerns being my first time, but they were all so patient with me, answered every question, showed me all possible options and pricing, and gave me their expert opinion. I was in and out in no time and considering it was oral surgery it felt like it was a breeze! They made me feel so comfortable the entire time and I even got a follow up call from Dr Ding that evening to check in. Its only the day after my surgery now but my recovery is going much better than I thought. I will be recommending Austin Oral Surgery to everyone- thank you again to them for everything!

I’m so thankful I came here for my wisdom teeth extraction. I have to admit, I was extremely nervous about having this procedure done. I’ve never had any sort of surgery done ever in my life, so just the thought of having this done was super scary for me.During the consultation, I saw Dr. Craig Knell and he went through everything with me. I had a small worry about my jaw clicking, and he assured me that everything would be ok, and that they’ll try to minimize further damaging my jaw.On the day of the surgery, you can imagine my fear. Even though I’m in my late 20’s, I wanted to back out of the surgery. But I knew this had to be done and I braved it the whole way through. The process was quick and it honestly felt like it all happened within 1 minute. It’s insane how quickly you go to sleep under sedation!Recovery was not the most fun, but that’s honestly to be expected with any surgery. A week after, I was still having pain so I decided to come back in to see what was going on. Dr. Knell said everything was fine, and that I was just one of the few who take a little longer to feel better. I was prescribed more medication and then headed home. A few days later, I felt so much better just like how Dr. Knell said I would. It’s been almost 4 weeks since my surgery and I feel great! I’m so thankful I can finally wear my retainer again, and get my teeth back to their beautiful shape!Thank you Dr. Knell for everything, and helping me get through the process with bravery. I’m so thankful I got this procedure done, and if I somehow needed this done once again.
