My girls loved to get their hair done here. The stylists always do a great job and are great with the kids. For a fun day book the princess or pirate haircut. Im so glad theyre still requiring masks.

Jamie did a great job on my daughter’s first haircut! She was super quick and great at distracting her to keep her still. We loved the atmosphere - my daughter went from nervous to excited as soon as she was allowed to pick which car she wanted to sit in. Thanks for a great visit!

This was our first time here and we had a great experience! My son sometimes gets scared of the buzzer noise and/or sensitive around his ears, so I was nervous going in, but Kayt was awesome with him and made him feel very comfortable. The place was clean and had a lot of fun things around to distract the kiddos. Well definitely be going back!

I had my kid went to this place to give it a try. The entire haircut took 5 mins and the stylist basically did four cuts and the haircut was done. 22 dollars for this is way overpriced and Im very disappointed in the final product. If you want any kind of styling, you need to add 5 bucks, but considered how disappointing the haircut was, I did not feel inclined to add that 5 extra bucks. The environment is very fun though and Im sure kids love it. I probably wont return though.

Amazing experience! My two year old usually kicks, screams, and becomes a savage beast during hair cuts. I went in preparing for our usual battle, and instead he instantly fell in love with this place. He loved his police car, the movie playing, and his pineapple lollipop which he talked about the whole way home. Kayt was amazing and patient with him, and my son did not cry one tear. My son said “that was fun. Let’s go back tomorrow!” While we can’t grow his hair quite that fast, we will absolutely be back.

We love Kayt so much, she does a fantastic job on our sons hair that has a ton of cowlicks and waves.

This is by far our favorite place to get our sons haircut. Theyre professional, kind, and make it a fun experience for the kids. Weve had a few different hairstylists, and all were super nice and great at what they do. Cant recommend enough!

We took my 1 year old for his 1st haircut and am very pleased with our experience. Jaime was so good with him and answered all my questions on how to care for his hair. We got the 1st haircut package which we love for a keepsake. I will say it was on the pricey end for a 15 minute visit but we plan on seeing Jaime again.

I had taken my daughter for her first haircut expecting she will get a good hairstyle. But, it was a worst experience. In my first visit I explained what Im looking for but the person who serviced didnt listen to me and she just did a straight cut. The very next day I called them and told that I had a bad experience and the hair cut is not what I expected. They scheduled another appointment where I showed the picture of the expected hair style and they didnt do a good job. People ask me if I did the haircut for my daughter at home. Thats the level of service they did. A total waste of money visiting Pigtails & Crewcuts.

I went here based on so many positive reviews. its not great place for kids hair cut. I have taken my 2 year girl toddler here for hair cut. I was thinking they have options and will shows us some models/photos which we can chose from, but they have none. They were blunt in their answers Unless you know which style you are looking for this is not an ideal place to go. its TOO Expensive as well

Both my kids comes here and both were hating getting their hair cuts but since we started coming here no more wresting and crying, now they are happy to hear they getting hair cuts.There are two waiting areas full of toys and TVs PlayStation for the kids, plus you can book appointment online to avoid waiting.

Love this location. Always clean, friendly, and on time. My daughter has curly hair and is sometimes a challenge to cut correctly but everyone here does amazing job with her. We even got to meet Santa here a few years ago!

We had my daughters ears pierced today and it was a great experience!! I was very hesitant to take her to a place that would leave me regretting the decision to pierce her ears. The ladies were very welcoming from the moment we entered and although my three year old was slightly fearful upon arrival, they let her pick the chair she wanted to sit in which put her in happy mode quickly! She chose the fire truck chair that she was able to “drive” while they prepped her ears. They had two employees doing it at the same time so she only had to experience the pain once. The employee marked her ears perfectly and we were very happy with the final product that my daughter will enjoy for the rest of her life! To top it off, lollipops were offered immediately and she got a certificate and prizes from the prize box. I highly recommend this place!

They are amazing! They were super sweet and gentle piercing my daughters ears. They do it two people at once and make sure you like where it’s positioned and how symmetrical they are. They gave her a little goodie bag after. Definitely recommend!

You lost your 1 year loyal customer today ... I was literally in the complex since 12:02 PM(My appointment was at Noon) and due to crazy line up of cars could not reach to their 7 minutes wait time. I Entered the door at 12:08PM and my Son was all excited to go to his favorite car for the haircut .. and they didn’t even were full at the time. I was sent back saying sorry you missed your 7 minutes window. I do understand COVID restrictions and respects the policy but what sort of professionalism is this to turn down the kids .. Do I have to share my location with them to prove that i was just 2 minutes over when I entered the complex? To the utter most respect I will never bring my son to this place ever again even though I loved their staff and service ...

We took our almost 1 year old for his first haircut today. Ashley was wonderful! My son wasnt concerned at all and loved playing in the fire truck. He actually didnt want to get out.Ashley was very quick and did a great job with the cut! We did the first haircut package and they saved some of his hair for us and took his picture. Overall a great experience! We pass over 3 different kids salons on our way but we will be back to this spot! Highly recommend!

Friendly staff. Because of covid you have to make an appointment. They check your temperature and make you wear masks and try to be safe as possible. My toddler didn’t complain or cry and Kayte cut his hair super quick like a pro!

Lindsey has become our go-to stylist. She’s cut our 6 year old’s hair since he was 2. And she recently did a great job with our 2-year old’s first ever haircut. It looked great and he loved the experience so much he wants to go back. We would never consider going anywhere else because of Lindsey.

I love Pigtails & Crewcuts. My little boy is Autistic, but they take such good care of him and never have made him feel bad for being special. This is the best place in the universe to take your kids and get a fair price on a great haircut.

I was very happy with my experience today. The staff made me feel very at ease taking my son in to get a haircut. The salon was very clean and sanitized everything, we all kept really great distance and they are keeping the amount people in the salon to a minimum. As always my son got an amazing haircut and was super happy with it.

A little pricey (around $21 + tip) for a kiddo hair cut but they are fast which is great especially if you have an unhappy kid and they have entertainment (tv playing movie) and each kid gets a little ziplock of graham crackers, a trinket and a lollipop. Only 3 stars because my son came out with crooked bangs I had to fix when we got home.

Jaime is by far one of the best hair stylists that we have been to. (We don’t have experience with any of the other stylists- but from what I have seen they are all good!) We LOVE Pigtails & Crewcuts! My husband and I took our son there for his first haircut ever and all the ladies were wonderful and supportive. We have been taking our son there for the last two years (3 now) and it is perfect for the kids. They have multiple seats with different types of rides (trains, cars and airplanes). All the women there are gentle, patient, caring and devoted to providing the best experience for the kids and parents. We have been using Jamie for the last year and just love her!

We have been taking our kids to this salon since 2017, it’s an hour away from us but completely worth the drive. Ms. Kayt is amazing with my little ones. My son has curly hair and she does an excellent job every time. She will be the one to do my daughters first haircut too. The salon is very professional and friendly. The staff is just the best!!!

I had an appointment for my 2 year old to get his first haircut. He was so excited to sit in a police car as he got his hair cut, and of course I talked up how much fun he would have. On my drive in, there was an accident and I called to let them know we would be running a few minutes late. Once we arrived (driving 45 minutes to get there) the lady said we were 7 minutes late and they would not be able to accommodate us, since they had another appointment in 10 minutes. I only wanted a few pieces of his haircut, which they didnt even take into consideration, since the woman at the front didnt bother to ask.My son was so upset as we left. You lost our business! You need to tell people as you make appointments that if they are not right on time, they may as well go somewhere else!

Kayt made our experience wonderful! She cut my sons hair picture perfect and I enjoyed the friendly conversation while I waited....everything was clean and sanitized and ready to use! We will be back!

I really don’t get why people like this place so much. Our experience has always been negative.I guess is because of the decoration, the seats for the kids are attractive for them, actually my kid asks me to take him to this place because they have the small store that invites them to buy anything after they behave well for their haircut.They don’t do a good job with my kid’s hair, it takes a long time and they leave him full of small hairs but honestly much more than the expected on a haircut so he gets very uncomfortable while they do his hair. Last time I had to ask 3 times after they “finish”’to correct the bad shape and the long hairs they left. And this time I didn’t let them leave it as it was, previous times I got the excuse that that’s his hair, that he needs to style it with product or whatever it’s a excuse to finish before doing a decent job.And last but most important it looks like the staff doesn’t want to work. Always chatting and people waiting. One time we arrived 10 minutes early to our appointment and the place was empty and all the ladies were chatting and we have to wait until our appointment time. Other time we went without appointment (walks in accepted is what their site said) and they turn us down, but guess what? All the ladies were chatting and they only had one client and the rest of the place was empty.I’m done with this place.

The ladies here are amazing with the kids! We took our 9 yr old daughter to get her ears pierced. 2 employees pierced her ears at the same time which is better that way. My daughter got to pick her own earrings. They explained everything before it was done. Overall, great experience!

The team was singing along to the songs and it was great to know they enjoyed working there (and werent annoyed with the same movie on for probably the 1000th time 😅)Theres a play area for when youre waiting, and they go above and beyond with the treats for your child when the haircut is done.

Maybe consider some training on how to coach a child through a haircut. Children fidget, telling them to “stop moving” without any kind verbiage is a little much.We just moved to the area and this is our second visit. We adored our first appointment, but this visit left us with a bad taste in our mouths. My husband is rarely rattled by customer service and he came out of the appointment disappointed and angry.

The staff worked to fit us in on a particularly busy day and was able to get us two, very handsome boy hair cuts. I really appreciated the extra effort. One of my sons is on the autism spectrum and cuts can be a big battle, but it was one of his best hair cut experiences to date. The stylist was patient and careful. She spoke to him and engaged the entire time, carefully using the clippers and scissors as he was comfortable. 5 star experience, grateful for all of the effort and patience on such a busy day!

We have been coming here for about since my 10 year old son was little. Now my daughter comes too and they love it. They wont go anywhere else. Everyone is so friendly. I even go to them to get my haircut. Many people dont know but they so moms and dads too. Its a great place to go if you want to make your child comfortable getting a haircut. They have movies on and cute vehicle chairs or regular chairs for your kids or adults to sit in.

This place is perfect. We called for 2 appointments and got in the same day. Our 2 year old has always had a hard time with anyone touching his hair and this is the first time he willingly got into the chair and never cried. The stylist really focused on keeping him comfortable and you could just tell had a way with little ones! They also had a great playroom. Our kids didn’t want to leave! We will definitely come here for all our future hair cuts. Great service!

Haircuts here are decent, not anything spectacular. But the thing that I like most is my kids love it. I think they mostly enjoy the prize they get at the end. They are pretty good with kids. I think they are all moms their selves.

Took my wild 17 month old son to get his very first haircut! We were very blessed to have had Lindsey as our hairdresser! She was so kind and understanding as my son was being a very cranky little toddler. She was so patient and sweet! She made us feel very comfortable and did a amazing job on his hair even with him turning his head, wiggling all around!

I have tried a few different places to get my daughters bangs cut but I have found that ultimately Pigtails and Crewcuts does the best job and my daughter looks beautiful every time.

My now 10 year old son has been going to Pigtails & Crewcuts since he was 3 years old. He refuses to even entertain the idea of going elsewhere. We he was little he loved the train table and firetruck seat and now he loves playing Minecraft while getting his hair done. The price is very reasonable and the service cant be beat. In all these years weve never had a bad experience and will continue to come back.

The place was set up well for kids. Toys for kids to play with etc. Had an appointment and they were on time if not early. Got to pick what chair(plain, fire truck, police car, car) she wanted. They had a kids movie on to keep their head still. The hair cutter was good with the kids and quick. The worst thing I can say is it was $20 for 10 minutes. Cant say it wasnt worth it but was a little steep. Ill probably return

Poor customer service!!! After shopping in 1890 Ranch I walked in to the store to make an appointment for my son, they told me I needed to go online to make a reservation. So, I had to leave, drive home and then get online to book a kid’s haircut. Ridiculous!!! A month later I called to make a reservation, because I couldn’t remember who cut my sons hair. The girl on the phone gave me the stylist name and then told me I needed to go online to book a reservation. I AM ON THE PHONE and you can’t make an appointment for me???? So, I went online made a reservation and then when I showed up for my son’s hair appointment, they said it was never booked. REALLY!!! I was shocked! Since I was already there they said they had an open time slot at 3:30, so I waited and then was informed that time slot was booked. If they would have just taken the reservation when I called we could have avoided this situation. The customer service is just AWFUL!! Why can’t you just call or walk-in to make an appointment?? It’s just a kid’s haircut place, not an upscale salon. I’ll never go back!!

This place makes kids haircuts completely stress free! They have fun chairs for kids to choose from (airplane, fire engine, etc) and they get a toy after haircut too.They also offer dads haircuts which is great for our family!

WE LOVE THIS PLACE!!! We have been going here since my daughters first haircut. I loved her cut so much I got mine done as well and wont let anyone else touch our hair ever since. We always ask for Jaimie but everyone here does a fantastic job, is super friendly and sweet. We are moving 3 hours away and we will STILL come here when it is time for a haircut.....its worth the drive.

I am giving a 5 because of the stylists. The young girl who worked the desk wasnt very friendly. Lindsey is wonderful and very patient with my son who HATES haircuts. She is the reason this place gets 5 stars! The other stylists are very sweet and understanding when it comes to my son. Plus the salon is always neat and clean.

I took my son for his first haircut and was a nervous wreck! He had long beautiful curly hair; I really didnt want to cut it but he needed it. The facility is set up perfectly for kids and he didnt even realize he was getting a cut! He loved the plane he got sit in and the lady Kay who cut it. She was great! My mother in law first wanted to try Great Clips, theyre not experienced with kids or set up for them... He had no interest in them one bit! So happy I found pigtails and crewcuts!

The salon is great, with the cars and fire trucks and movies, but the staff was never friendly and inviting to me or my son but was with other customers. And I always had to touch up my sons hair after we got home. Minimal effort was put into his haircut. I have given them several chances to prove me different but it was not successful.

Make sure you call ahead , this is not a walk in salon.This team of hairdressers is top notch. They knew exactly how to tame every child personality there was. Toys for the boys and girls, and places to run around. Its pricey but well worth the quickness and quality of their work. Will return when my kid needs another!

My 4 year old daughter and I really enjoyed our experience here! this was her first hair cut and we just did a trim. The environment is cute and friendly. A little pricey I feel for just a trim... They have one price for all kids hair cuts (18.50 - at least when I was in there) ... Would have really liked something more like 10 to 15$ for just a five minute trim with no styling ect. ... The price might be the only reason I might look around at some different places.
