If you are a hair stylist and you’re looking to branch out on your own, be in charge of your schedule, your prices, and building a solid business than look no farther. The Salons @ 1890 is in a great location, always kept so neat and clean, fantastic manager/owner, and filled with great professionals! I love my salon family! ❤️

Booked cut, full color, and style with Stefanie Roe thru her booking site. She listens and is not afraid to give her professional advice. She also uses ammonia-free Kevin Murphy color which is an amazing product that doesnt bleed color in the shower and burn the scalp during application. Stefanie has a very bubbly personality and it was a 2 hours well spent despite the high price tag...not to mention my hair looked and felt delicious!

Stephanie is amazing. She took my hair which was a hot mess to beautiful. She is the best.My first visit was with Scott. He claimed that he was a color specialist and could make me beautiful. My hair turned out to be a hot mess. We contacted the manager and she hooked me up with Stephanie. She fixed my hair and made it amazing. It now look better than what I ever could have imagined. The staff is amazing.

I had an amazing time at this salon. My hair stylist was Danielle G. She did an excellent job making my hair ombre! Though it took just over 3 hours, she kept a friendly attitude the entire time. She even provided snacks and drinks with a smile. I would definitely recommend her to anyone wanting to try this salon! 💜

This is a very unwelcoming establishment! Their website says walk-ins welcome, but clearly not. Theres no receptionist so you have to walk around and hope to find a stylist whos interested in helping you. No one was! I wasnt even offered an appointment! So unless you already have an appointment, dont waste your time here.

I was referred to Andrea Johnson when the other salon I had been using finally botched a balayage highlight job on my hair so badly that I was actually embarrassed to leave my house, but I saw a total stranger with the most gorgeous,Well-placed/well-blended highlights and actually stopped her in a store to ask her where does she get her hair color done and she referred me to Andrea Johnson. Andrea transformed my hair and saved my sanity- and I’ll never go anywhere else for color and highlights!

Scott does a FANTASTIC job! Couldnt ask for better! The environment was clean, friendly, and relaxing. Ill defiantly be going back!

I personally havent had any luck finding a good stylist here.

Jezelle was extremely rude from the moment I walked in. This lady had no smile and was not friendly at all. She stated how unhealthful, damaged, and nappy my hair was. She also said that my hair may be so damaged because I dye my hair. I dont dye it...ever but she insisted that I did because my hair is naturally brown on top and light on the bottom. She also asked if my normal hair was straight when I said no its naturally wavy she questioned that as well...are u sure she asked. I told her yes my mom has really curly hair. Her response Im not talking about your mom total unprofessional. We then talked about if I had children and I ASKED do u have grandchildren again rude response uh no but thank you for implying I do, I dont have children at the end she so called styled my hair leaving looking like the lion from wizard of oz...she did cut my split ends though. Please look elsewhere u have been warned

Melissa Autry is great at coloring hair. I get tons of compliments.

Extensions with Danielle are a SCAM!!! She tells you $600 to do them but leaves out that is JUST for her to order the hair then you go in and she tells you it will be $600 MORE to put them in! Doesnt tell you you have to order more hair in about 2-3 months when you redo them. (Cant use same hair) doesnt tell you when you take them out it also takes out about 50% of your natural hair with them! Ohh and turns your chair around, away from mirror so you dont see ALL the hair you are losing! If you value your hair do NOT get them!
