I have had fairly good service here, but I typically only get a trim… however I brought my boyfriend in this evening and unfortunately did not have a very good experience. The lady was working by herself all day apparently and we were her last cut of the day. She was eating in the back because she hadn’t had anything to eat all day… eventually he makes his way to her station and asks for an edge up and trim. The ladies response was quite inappropriate as race was brought into the equation when it didn’t need to be. She did it however, and did it super fast and without care almost. Lines are uneven and his hairline is so pushed back… we have to set up another appointment somewhere else to get his hair fixed. Although it’s cheap, you are going to spend more money fixing your hair in the end.

Got my haircut they didnt have time to wash and dry my hair which was fine. After going home and washing and drying my hair I did not like the cut at all. I came in and asked for it to be fixed. The lady that greeted me I believe her name is Autum was unfriendly. I told her I was just on on Friday am not happy she told me to have a seat. I simply asked about how long she was obviously irritated and said I dont know I dont have an estimate whenever she is done. I sat down I aplogized for not asking before but asked if they were going to charge me again she said yes. At that point I just said nevermind Im already uncomfortable here. My haircut here on Friday will be the first and last. I will never come here again.

I refrained from giving feedback yesterday because the first stylist that took me, I was a walk-in looking for a new place since my go to lady retired, was so rude and condescending that I had to stop her and tell her if she was having a bad day. She quickly turned it around and said I looked like I was in a bad mood. When I said I’ll just wait for someone else she got even worse honestly I can’t tell if she didn’t like me because she was in a bad mood or she didn’t like the color of my skin because with anyone else who was white she was delightful.Now here’s why the three stars, after going back and forth on who was going to fix that ladies mistake Autumn took me after her appointments. And she was fabulous, sweet and easy to talk to even after experiencing what had happened. She fixed my hair and I believe it came out better than I had originally anticipated. Thank you Autumn it really turned around my experience at the shop and I’m glad you were there. Yesterday was the first time since lock down I had treated myself to a haircut and I appreciate you. I will be taking myself and son to get our cuts with you.I’m not going to call out the lady by name that first soured my experience but if the owner reads this look up your workforce for yesterday. You might already have an idea of who she was because I’m sure it’s not the first time she’s been rude and condescending to someone at your shop.

I had a terrible experience with a hairstylist she was rude and very passive aggressive. I asked her input on how much she needed to trim to keep hair healthy. She shrugged her shoulder and didn’t respond. She was so so rude and I gestured and I stood up and I said: I don’t know why you are being so rude and not engaging me when I ask your input? She ignored me and began to brush my hair without answering me. I am very patient and try to be kind and decided to give her benefit of doubt. Her name started with C it was an American name but she was oriental descent. She nicely instructed the man that entered to sign up in a sweet tone of voice. My comment - It’s not about race since I am also a minority but her rudeness was too much. I have gone there for about 15 years and not once have I ever been treated that rudely. She has issues and definitely did not want to be there. Could not care less. The job was a 7. Very disappointed.

Its got to be hard for places like this, with all the competition and with the pandemic. Still, its really not about the haircut but about establishing a relationship with the customer and a haircut as the product. Even if I get a bad haircut but I leave feeling that I spent my time well and that Im truly wanted back, Ill go back every time. Haircuts here are good, but Im still looking for that place that leaves me feeling they really care about the customer, the experience, and the relationship. Thankfully, theyre not a place trying to rely on shoving a beer in my hand and providing an ambience experience to compensate for their lack of ability to establish a relationship person to person.

Went in today to get a trim and bangs. I showed the lady exactly what I wanted straight across bangs. She didn’t understand what I wanted. She ended up parting it in the middle and doing side bangs I look absolutely ridiculous I walked and started crying. I’m never getting my hair done here ever again. Those are the bangs I wanted that’s what I got.

Got appointment on a busy Saturday where all other salons were busy. No wait time and got a decent hair cut, will go back again for next hair cut.

I’ve been going to great haircuts for four years. It’s been slowly going down hill. But this was the final straw.I went in today and got the worst cut. It super uneven and asked for a fade. There are three lines in my fade. Asked three times politely to try to fix it and each time it got worse. I will be going to roosters across the street from now on.

Haircut looked fine at the salon until I got home and looked in the mirror. I noticed that my hair was uneven.

Amazing!! I got my hair cut during my break from work and they got me in and out in 11 minutes!! And they are soNice and friendly. And amazingly well priced! I got well over 6 inches cut off and what would cost me $40-60 somewhere else only cost 19!! Would definitely go back

I am usually very happy with this salon but recently had my hair done by Kelly Lee. This was the worst haircut EVER. I have medium length layered hair. Ms. Lee did something like a four section cut but she only cut one hairline in each section. She then took a thinning sheers and proceeded to chop at the ends of my hair. She charged me $21.00 for a detailed cut. I was on the phone with my son as I sat in the stylist chair and after paying, I checked the time. My detailed cut plus the time to pay had taken 11 minutes. If you go to this salon and Ms. Lee is the next stylist available, request to wait for someone else.

Went in for a small trim and to have the back of my neck cleaned up. Young lady was nice but was a little too busy trying to talk and I feel like the quality of her job suffered from that. 4 minutes later, $20 dollars paid, and I still have to get it fixed. Will not return, not a great haircut at all

Latest Update: Spoke with the owner (Michael V), it is their policy to take customers up till closing time. Meaning if you get there 1 min to closing, you’ll get a haircut, regardless of the time that it takes. You should never be told “We are all booked up for the night”. Michael got the truth from the person working that night. Kudos to him for getting to the truth and for the employee for owning up to the mistake. So someone had a bad night, and made my night worse. Updated from 1 to 3 stars.Original review: I called this salon and they told me, they had a 45 min wait and that I could come in. When I got there with 2 people working and 3 waiting, 1 hour to close, they would not serve us. Sorry, we are all booked up for the night. Wasting my time, my gas, and not heading to another barber. My go-to place for great haircuts. Jennifer has been cutting my hair for basically my entire life. The shop itself is always very clean and the store is located in a nice area.

Really bad service, i wanted a speciall hair cut and the lady just did whatever she wanted i was explaining and she started saying that she knew was she was doing. At last my hair did not came out how i wanted they where some parts with long hair and it was not faded right. Not professional stylist , they need training. They receive you with good energy when entering, when giving a detailed cut they contradict you and they get offended and end up grabbing whatever they want. his job is to please the client and apparently it is only to indulge himself.

Used to be great but management got greedy. As of October 2018 the wait is too long, over 1 hr last time I came on normal Thurs. Mgmt cut evening staff to only 1 employee. I am going to find another place to get my haircut and I recommend you do the same. Shame on the owner of this place because my son and I were regulars for 4 yrs.

This was by far the worst experience Ive ever had getting a haircut. I came in and told the lady exactly how I wanted my hair done and the first time she cut it to about the length I wanted it and then left my head a mop. Then I asked her how I was supposed to style it the way I wanted and she then told me I had to cut it shorter. I went along because Im not the professional here. She then cut the front of my hair to a short spike when I asked for a long fold over. Im now left with a ridiculous hair style and with sheer disappointment. I will never return to a great haircuts.

I first came to Great Haircuts before the Tornado of of 97. Most may remember it as a tornado that hit Jarrell, Texas. But I my Wife and I lived in a nearby apartment and they were close and convenient. They gave a good High and Tight for my fellow retired Marines. The store was nextdoor to Blockbuster and Albertsons. I have brought all my boys there for haircuts their whole lives. I never once had a bad cut. They took care of one of my boys when he was about 3 and decided he was going to to cut his hair. That was an eye-opener for him. But in that good old fashioned way they were kind to him. Didnt tease him. They told him how handsome he was and smart he was and gave him a sucker. I think his sister may have had something to with the actual cutting but thats just between me you and the fence post. The cut my little girls hair for a while until she wanted to get it styled and colored and her nails done. I guess going to the place daddy gets haircut loses it luster after awhile. But I have seen them do take care of a lot girls, boys, women, teens, and men over the last 22years now and they all seemed happy. Support Cedar Park businesses. Go get a haircut this weekend. You may see me and my boys.

Normally the ladies make a good job, wherever, yesterday the Hispanic lady ( first time see her) made a horrible job, firstly, ask me if speak Spanish because she said feel better on that language and explained the instructions more than 2 times but she dont care, I told her the number 1.5 and no to short on top, she ignored and used number 1 and almost shave my head. She answered dont worry the hair grow, ... yeah I refuse to pay and ask for the manager than her refuse communicate, with the argument if I don t pay dont fix. Finally, other woman came to try fix may hair. I WILL NEVER BACK

I have been going here for 4+ years with consistent, great service. Jennifer usually cuts my hair and she listens to my input and does a great job.

My husband took my 12 year old special needs daughter in for a haircut and was denied service due to the stylist diagnosing my daughter with lice. However, I am a registered nurse and this was totally false. My daughter has a dry scalp and has all her life. Perhaps the stylist should educate herself on the difference between dry skin and lice nits. Will NEVER go to these cheap places again!

It lived up to its namesake. No complaints with my haircut.

Not the best but also wasn’t busy so was able to seat immediately.Never had someone tell me that they had to make my hair all the same length before or that in order to blend the sides properly they would have to take the top length down considerably. Lady also said that the expression “Over the ears” means that I want the length of my hair to cover over my ears. All told I got an $8 haircut for a little more than $17 and didn’t even get my hair washed or any product put in to it!Doubtful I’ll return.

Excellent cutting service for gentlemen (in my case) but I saw that there was service for ladies too. Bilingual and very helpful the lady who attended me. I would return with pleasure. The prices are very consistent with the service.
