Dr. Oatman is wonderful. She is great with my tween son and answered all of my questions. The front staff is top notch. they know whats in style and dont price gouge at all. We strayed from Target Optical for one annual visit and needless to say, we have returned. Truly, the best.

Easy to make the appointment. Dr Seay was friendly and knowledgeable and the exam went well. The rest of the office staff were equally friendly and helpful.

The Dr. was prompt and efficient and the staff (Donna and Megan) were wonderful. They were very knowledgeable about insurance and eye glass options.

Im not sure of the womans name that performed my eye exam. She brought me back and started the exam, and when it came time to dilate my eyes she told me to check out frames for about ten minutes and she would return to examine my eyes. After around 40 minutes she finally returned to the office. She then began talking to the staff working the front end. She seemed to have forgotten about me. I walked over and stood near her. One of the staff members looked in my direction and said, Hes dilated. The expression on her face indicated that she was surprised and had completely forgotten about me. Her absent mindedness did not instill much confidence in me that she was a capable professional. I think she was browsing the Target store and completely lost track of what she was supposed to be doing. This was my first time trying this optometrist, and I will not be returning in the future.

The doctor was polite, knowledgeable, patient, and considerate. Couldnt of asked for more. The entire staff was exceptional. I live 80 miles away and I would definitely make the trip back here for eye care because of how great and flawless my experience was. Thanks guys.

I had such an incredibly pleasant exam with Dr. Oatman. I have been having dry eye and blurry vision due to a recent upper eyelid surgery. She confirmed that I’m having changes and proceeded to offer me trial lenses so I did not have to spend more money than necessary. I absolutely appreciate that consideration and will continue to use her. I was really impressed after being initially hesitant to try a big store optical.

Everyone was very friendly and efficient. Coty was super helpful and made the entire process a breeze!

I have cataracts and the doctor never even mentioned them and they never offered to dialate my eyes. At my age that should have been a no brainer as well as I marked it on my paperwork. The doctors lack of personality, neglect to ask my any questions or seem concerned about my eyes was disheartening and left me feeling like I was just someone she was pushing thru as quick as she could. It was a rushed looking at the wall, going thru the quick motions of picking the best view and that was it. When I went to mention the cataracts at the end I realized she was done she did not acknowledge me trying to converse with her. Very disappointed and because of the Dr I will not be returning to Target for my optical needs. I have not even been back to Target since my exam other than to pick up my contacts and glasses. Also, when I picked up my glasses they did not even fit them. Put it all in a bag and sent me on my way. I don’t know that I will even go back to Target period.

There was apparently a “mixup” with the “new schedule” and the doctor never showed. My wife and I made appointments, confirmed them both the night before, we’re on time and then waited for nearly 45 minutes (well past our scheduled/confirmed appointment times) before being told the doctor got “confused” and didn’t realize he had appointments that morning. So, my wife and I left and will be finding a new eye doctor from now on.

I paid $70.00 for my daughters eye exam and when I asked for her full prescription because my husband wanted to purchase her glasses online, I was told not to worry about it and that the website would walk me though it. I reiterated that I needed the information for her eye prescription so that we could make our purchase and again was told not to worry about it and that the website would walk me through it. If I paid $70 for the exam, why cant a prescription be provided to me. I as well as my husband (who was unable to come to the appointment) are not pleased at all with these services.

Eh. Okay visit. Not sure who the person was that checked my eyes out, assuming she was NOT Dr. Peter...which is fine that I didnt see him, but she never even told me her name. Not much conversation at all in fact. I guess I am not there to talk....but wouldnt mind knowing who it is in case I needed to reach back out with questions. Also, since I am cash pay....I opted to hold off on getting another pair of glasses from there at this time and requested to just pay for my visit and get my prescription, because obviously there are cheaper options/more selections elsewhere, especially for someone who is cash pay. I know that is not ideal for the store or what they want me to do....but when I made the decision I felt as if the attitude of the people helping me changed dramatically.Maybe I read too much into the attitudes of the people working, after all I had had a long day at work already and was tired. But, I found it to be noticeable enough for me to take a time to post a review.Appreciated the adjustment on my current glasses though...thanks.

The staff was wonderful. They were very polite and friendly. My only complaint is that my appointment was for 11:20 AM. I was not seen until after 12pm. It would have been later if someone before me had not left.

That was the worst eye exam Ive ever had. Lights were on, people talking through an open door, too much flickering back and forth. I have to find another ophthalmologist. Customer service is something we take advantage of.
