Holy cow I cannot day enough good things about Dr. Hughes. I mean I have never met a more empathetic, caring and informative doctor. Her energy is so warm and understanding. Not only did she explain my medical condition but she explained the medications she was putting me on and WHY. Telling me exactly what they are going to do for my body as well as possible side effects and how to combat them. I mean I’ve never experienced this type of thorough care. I am truly, truly impressed. I switched to her after another doctor in the practice treated me terribly and I’m so happy I made the switch. I’m excited to see her again!

I just had my first annual physical with Dr. Hughes. My experience was very positive- all the way around- scheduling, signing in, seeing the P.A. And seeing Dr. Hughes. I felt fully supported throughout this appointment.Dr. Hughes herself was my favorite part of today. She seemed genuinely interested in what I had to say. She was kind, present, and most importantly- interested! I feel like I am in good hands with this practice.

I am looking for a new doctor. i went to see Dr. Hughes last week. She was wonderful. She really listen. That is what I want a doctor. Not one that will run in and run out and collect their money. I really hope this will work out.

BEWARE:They falsify info in your chart about your health conditions, I called to get answers and neither Hughes or the office provided details as to why these details were in my history, Hughes literally ignored my concerns and never responded to my emails or calls. BE CAREFUL what you share with this facility and Hughes. They are extremely vindictive. I am so disappointed about how I was treated. Myself and my family will no longer be going to this practice and I will no longer be referring this Doctor. I even tried to speak with the office manager she just referred me to her nurse who did not call back. Neither Hughes or the Nurse answered my question about labs that were high by phone or portal. I understand people being busy but to not even offer an explanation like I didnt deserve time to discuss a clear health problem. I am disgusted.

I met Dr. Hughes when she was at the Cumming location and when she moved to Sugar Hill I decided that even if its more of a drive for me I would continue to see her. Shes extremely personable and makes you feel comfortable, and she actually LISTENS to your concerns, rather than brushing them off like some doctors. Couldnt recommend her enough.

I have never been there but the Receptionist that took my call so that I could schedule a new patient appointment had horrible customer service. I will not be going to this office!

This office in general is terrible. Ive had horrible experiences every time Ive needed them for anything since my first visit. The first visit they make you feel like theyre there for you and are going to make you feel comfortable and taken care of. After that getting refills takes 1-2 weeks, which is NOT acceptable when you need a medication daily. If you call the office youre sent to a voicemail which seems to never be checked. I had to call over 15 times in order to get my medication last month because THEY sent it to the WRONG PHARMACY, then 4 days later told me they fixed it and sent it to the right place, that was not true, I attempted to contact the office for 3 more days before I ended up driving there to speak to someone in person, and it still took them 2 days after that to get my prescription sent... The office staff is rude, they lie to you, tell you things that are untrue, tell you they will do things they dont to, and to top it off Dr. Hughes only spends 5 minutes with you, which consists of her typing and you sitting silently. No questions, no following up on anything, no making sure youre doing okay with your medications. The first thing this office ever made me do was pee in a cup like I was some sort of convict, and then proceeded to change my medication based on assumptions without asking me any of my history...I have now switched providers, thankfully, and love my new doctor. If you havent seen Dr. Hughes yet and are just looking for a doctor, avoid this one at all costs, unless you enjoy waiting weeks and making multiple phone calls to get any information. If you are currently her patient, there are plenty of doctors around, dont put up with the ignorance any longer.

Im not a go to the doctor kind of guy. Ive searched high and low for a good doctor. Dr. Hughes is amazing! I knew when she walked in I liked her. She presented herself with a smile and genuinely acted like she cared about my health.

It’s really hard to schedule a visit with Dr. Hughes. The first time I went I got to see her, but never seemed available after that. So I see the PA when I go, which is generally a positive experience. The use a really random web portal/app to contact their office/doctors and get info. It’s very hard to get in touch with them since their phone number goes to a central scheduling office. You can send messages but they take a week or more to be replied to. Which when I had an issue with a prescription, I had to wait 1.5 weeks to hear back. I guess I’m glad I don’t have a serious condition! That is worth 2 stars to me.That being said, I’ve enjoyed having this as my primary doctor’s office. I recommend it!

I really like Dr Hughes. I thought that after reading some of the reviews that maybe people were being too hard with their evaluations. However, I called and left a voicemail about a prescription on the nurse line 24 hours ago and havent received a response. I will go to my next appointment and discuss my concerns with Dr Hughes. Maybe they should discipline people who dont return calls. If my rating was just on Dr Hughes, it would be 5 stars.

My first visit with this office was terrible. The receptionist Clearly has no idea how to be professional and operate the business like it should. I came in to see the doctor first time I remind you. I have no idea about there policy . I have insurance but gave her the wrong card . I called the correct company to get my member ID number. I waited 1 hour and 30 minutes for her to tell me, we can’t see unless we verify your insurance or you pay out of pocket. That’s fine Because I have insurance and willing to pay out of pocket. But you fail to tell me this. Then she said we won’t be able to see you. I will need to reschedule you for the next day. I said no ma’am. This should’ve been said over an hour ago. I’m not feeling well and will need to see a doctor. She’s terrible with communication. Then she comes back and say I can see you now but will need to wait 20 more minutes. How inconvenient is this. If my chest wasn’t hurting I would have walked out. I hope the doctor is a better representation of this office than her .

Ive been in Atlanta for 11 years and 3 doctors later I have fnally found a doctor. YIPPEE....I just became a patient here and am very very pleased. I was in search of a Dr. that I didnt feel like I was a number. Here I feel like Dr. Hughes and her staff knows who I am when Im there and I love it. I can not express how happy I am. I have made her the doctor for my entire family.

Dr. Hughes is wonderful. Office staff is horrible. Never get a return call. Takes 5-6 calls to get a refill initiated. Horrible, horrible follow up from this office. We hate to change doctors because we love Dr. Hughes however, once you leave the office, you cant get back in touch with her for problems or refills and this is a big component of patient care.
