Horrible place. I should’ve read the reviews I read about Dr. Osawa but I was sick & desperate. My first clue was the fact that covid-suspecting patients & healthy patients enter the SAME main door, then you go left for covid or right for regular doctor. Very gross to share handles. This was 5 months ago before vaccines were widely available.2nd clue was the waiting room was BLARING christian music. AND in the exam room too. I couldnt hear myself think. This bothered me because not everyone is Christian & they claim to welcome everyone. This is not a private office this is a sketchy public urgent care/physician office all in one. They would have a FIT if a large office was playing Muslim music or Metallica.3rd clue: THE URINE COLLECTION DOOR IS NOT SECURE! When I put my sample in , someone else’s sample was STILL there in an UNSEALED cup. Anyone could easily tamper with it or switch the names. This blew me away. I was speechless & will also be reporting this to the state.4th clue: the huge weight loss pill sign in the bloodwork area. Physicians should NOT be promoting cure-all skinny pills. I later told my neurologist about my visit & he actually told me to report them to the medical board. Yikes.4th & BIGGEST red flag. I’ve been on adderall for 10 years. I needed a refill & they made me take a 5-page quiz on symptoms (I’m in the mental health field & I could tell this wasn’t an official test). Here’s the WORST part: they forced me to sign a contract to only take my adderall 5 days per week. I literally laughed out loud. I thought it was a joke. Drug holidays are NOT for everyone & should be a case-by-case basis. They can be helpful sometimes but not always necessary. You can just take less on weekends. Also, holidays are more for kids than adults. I brought this up to my pharmacist (MD) brother & he laughed at it too. They also did an EKG (no other doctor has required this for my adderall) and never bothered to tell me the results even though I TOLD her I was very concerned/curious because my grandpa had hypertension. She didn’t care.Another red flag: part of the contract says you lose your script if you test positive for THC. So I can get drunk while taking adderall but can’t smoke a plant? Again, I’ve been on it for TEN years (seen tons of physicians) & *NONE* (INCLUDING PSYCHIATRISTS) have asked about THC. It may be illegal here but they’re not legally bound to keep adderall from THC users. This is ***THEIR*** personal view, not a common practice. I tested negative for everything else.OH & I never even SAW Dr Osawa. I wanted to see a physician & only saw his P-assistant. EVERY other doctors office will tell you who you’re actually seeing. This place is SO sketchy! And I will be reporting them to the state board. They didn’t even refill any of my other meds & didn’t tell me when I could get my adderall script. I don’t care if they refuse to give it to me, but they could’ve communicated a little more. That’s LITERALLY their job. The office girls are pretty nice though. Though the girl with super tight curly hair who took my blood smelled wore veryyyyyyyy strong perfume which probably bothers older people (& me cause I’m missing part of my sinus). Such a bizarre thing to do when working so close to people who might have breathing problems or allergies. She was very nice though. This place is a joke. Do not come here unless it’s your LAST resort!!! I can’t speak on the urgent care part of this place but there is a newer urgent care by the library if you need to go (Reagan Medical). And no I WILL NOT be responding to your calls like you’ve been desperately asking other reviewers to do.

I would not recommend this doctor to my dog and I do not like dogs. Very unprofessional office staff. You call for refills takes and you have to call back to make sure it was sent. Normally the prescription is sent to the pharmacy 2 days later after I told them that I am almost out of my insulin. They do not answer the phone and I have to call several times throughout the day. However if you walk in the office, they are talking and doing nothing. They take forever to have any documents completed. PAs do not listen to you and most do not care or want to care about what you are saying. The one PA that I liked had a baby and left. My last appointment was at 1:30. I got there at 1:30 and left at about a quarter to 4. When I first started going here in 2012, I saw Dr. Osowa directly. Now he has turned into the Geriatric doctor and unless you ask for him specifically, you get to be seen by a new PA every time you go. My whole family used to be patients of his and have stopped going. My father and step mom recently left. My step mother went in for some headaches she was having after taking a fall at her home. The PA prescribed some medication and toId her to come back in two weeks. The next day she had to have emergency brain surgery. We are lucky to have her still with us at 82 y.o. Dr. Osowa is nice but its not worth the aggravation.

Ive been going to this location for years. Me, my hubby and 5 kids. I love them. For the most part Ive had nothing but great experiences with them. I love the ENTIRE staff. The only complaint I could have, if I had one, is some days the wait is too long for those who already have an appointment. Thats the only complaint I could legitimately have. Other than that they are great.

My name is Niki E. Nightingale and I am honored to have Dr. Alexander Osowa as my primary care physician for the past 11 years. Dr. Osowa has been able to keep me at age 57 without taking any type of medication by telling me how to eat healthy and what exercise routine to follow. Dr. Osowa is caring, professional, effective, and efficient and he is committed to serve his community. I have realized that Dr. Osowa set himself aside from other doctors because he is committed to abide by the code of ethics that guide his profession at all times. Dr. Alexander Osowa is and outstanding physician and excellent human being.Niki E. Nightingale

I have been going to this Dr. for about 9 years. I will say that I really love Dr. Osowa and his wife. I now day primarily see the Nurse Practitioner, Danielle, which I absolutely LOVE!!! I find the office staff very nice and polite! HOWEVER, my only complaint would be the wait. I have found that if I go as a walk in, I am seen much faster than when I have a scheduled appointment which is pretty sad. Getting their office to correctly send my prescriptions seems to be another shortcoming in their office for the last year or so, so not sure what is going on there. Overall, I do like this Dr. Office and would certainly recommend them!!

The reason for the 1 star review is due to the fact that the wait to be seen is forever! Had a physical apt scheduled for 10:10 and only got checked in by 10:30. Had to wait in the room until 11:40! I actually got out of the room twice to ask about the wait time. There was another patient that got out of her room to ask how much longer she has to wait. These people do not respect your time.On the other hand, Dr. Osowa is a very nice doctor who listens to his patients and cares about you. I would give him 5 stars! I think their office and scheduling need a major revamp. They probably outgrew way too fast and dont have the right people in place to handle this!I will definitely start looking for a different family doctor! 🙁

I have been visiting Dr. Osowa for years. He cares about his patients. He was our family physician until he stop using GHI , which is a NYC base insurance. My husband is a retire NYPD officer. It was unfortunate that he and my girls could continue to see him. We all loved Dr. Osowa. I continue to see him because he knows my health history and does anything possible to get to the root cause of the matter.

Dr. Alexander Osowa has been my primary care physician for the past 5 years. I do not have words to express the way I felt about meeting someone like Dr. Alexander Osowa. Dr. Osowa was able to diagnose my current situation accurately by prescribing the proper medication. Dr. Osowa showed concern, empathy, and professional ethics towards me at all times. I was able to continue functioning in my daily life without severe pain. I highly recommend Dr. Alexander Osowa to anyone that is in need of a primary care physician because he is the best that I have ever met.

Went bc Im sick, my daughter brought something home from school and its spread to everyone in the family. The nurse aid or whoever I saw said it was allergy season and dismissed me as that. Wanted to do another test but bc I couldnt pay for it up front they did not do the test. This is not the first time Ive had a bad experience with them.

The practioner accidentally gave my 12 year old sister a huge needle meant for the 50 year old in the room next door.... it was a very strong back pain killer instead of her middle school shots.... she did not ask for her name or anything, came in, gave her this huge shot.. luckily my sister was ok, but I dont recommend going hereOn top of this, they NEVER answer their phone. I called 30 times, left voicemail after voicemail just to never hear back. Never received my lab results from them. Most incompetent doctor I have ever visited, HORRIBlE. Do not go here

My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer and Osowa insisted she go through Emory hospital. She struggled with his staff to get the correct referrals, and after she finally got the referrals and had surgery they would not get her the necessary referral for a medical oncologist so she could continue treatment and observation.Their incompetence is causing her and me great emotional stress. I would NOT recommend Osowa for anything.

Dr Osawa is a good doctor. However if you go to see him do not go to his Lawrenceville office. I needed a prescription for tests that were ordered, I called the office 4 times requesting this be called in. It was never done. The people in the Lawrenceville office are rude and incompetent. I put up with them because I like both Dr Osawa and Dr McIntyre. I just found out Dr McIntyre is not working at that office any longer so I will not be going to that office any longer. Dr Osawa is not the problem, the office people are. Rude, incompetent and condescending, you would think that they were the doctors and could talk to everyone like dirt.

I try to call to make an appointment and they take a long time to return the call, he is my daughters pediatrician for 9 years, but I have to find another one, how bad, before they answered when one dialed, now you have to wait 5 hours or more, I will have to search another, otherwise they will give me an appointment when my daughter is 90 years old
