I was under the care of Academy Orthopedics for a medial fracture of my ankle from July 2021 into October 2021. Christie White provided great care and advice for my recovery. And more importantly respected my questions and concerns throughout treatment. The staff was friendly and I would (and probably will need to given my history) use their services again. Highly recommended!!

Very great experience. The waiting room is HUGE, clean and quiet. I was greeted with a smiling face, I was NOT asked to fill out paperwork that was already filled out online. The x-ray tech was great, he took the time to explain why we needed to take x-rays at different angles. The doctor was great, he greeted me with a nice big how are you doing, we then chatted a little about nothing in particular, not once did he seem to be in a hurry, he then looked at my wrist, explained everything, wrote down their medical names for me to do my own research and then we chatted some more.... Great experience and great people.

Academy Orthopedics office (Buford) staff and nurses are the best! Very efficient and courteous! Doctor Duckett is always very informative and explains things so you can completely understand.He did an awesome job on both of my total knee replacements in 2020!

Great staff and Doctors! Took my mom who had been in a lot of pain for about 3 months, unable to walk on her own. They took several x-rays and was able to diagnosed her problem. Gave her an injection and my mom felt so much better. I felt they are honest people you can trust. Overall great experience!

Academy Orthopedics is professional and the staff is compassionate. Every precaution for the safety of their patients are in place and when you enter, you are warmly greeted like an old friend. The Techs are very kind, thorough, and understanding. Dr. Seidmans approach is refreshing. He took time to thoroughly understand the pain I was in, where the pain was coming from, and then treated it. His approach to treatment was both sympathetic and compassionate. ALL PERSONAL WERE EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL AND HELPFUL IN PRELIMINARY X-RAYS AND SET UP.DR. SEIDMAN AFTER REVIEWING MY X-RAYS IN DETAIL EXLPAINED WHY AT PRESENT I AM NOT A GOOD CANDIDATE FOR REPLACEMENT. HOWEVER HE WAS ABLE TO ADMINISTER PAIN MEDICINES AND FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A LONG TIME THE PAIN WAS MINIMIZED.THANK YOU DR. SEIDMANOTTO

Outstanding Orthopedic care. You wont find a better group of doctors. Dr. Seidman replaced my hip in 2008. Ive not had a single issue or pain since 2008. Ive seen him for other issues and surgery. Im always pleased with the results. Thank you!

Academy Orthopedics (Dr. Duckett) was/is an oasis experience in a desert of mediocrity and also ran patient experiences.#1 They all must be paid well, because they seem to really enjoy being there.#2 They treated me and those before and after me with dignity and respect.#3 They kept me informed every step of each process and#4 No, question was too small or insignificant; I didnt feel rushed at any point.Oh and, #5 last but not least, the diagnosis and treatments were thorough, collaborative and most importantly effective.I realize this is rare in the industry, so I thought I would shout-out and share.Congrats on a great practice and Thanks for a job well done. I feel blessed to have had Dr Katz as my orthopedic surgeon. I broke my (dominate) wrist while roller skating and it required plates to repair. I’m a registered dental hygienist and in need of my right hand to work. I was seeing my patients again in just under six weeks. Very happy for the excellent care I received from Dr Katz and his staff, and a major shout out to my PT Stephanie!

Dr. Katz and his office staff are amazing! I was very pleased with Dr. Katz surgery and recovery style after breaking both of my wrist that I ended up sending my son to him after complaining about his wrist. Dr. Katz sharp eye found and treated a broken scaphoid in his wrist that was actually from a sports injury years prior that went was not detected before going to Academy Orthopedics. I also have a co worker who had been complaining of wrist pain.... so of course you know who I referred my co-worker to, Dr. Katz at Academy Orthopedics. After an appointment my co-worker was treated and just like that.... he had no more wrist pain.I would to say again, I was VERY pleased with the surgery performed. But more important the recovery method that was used during the healing process was by far the best compared to some of the other recovery methods I have heard by different doctors.

They get right to the problem and solve it without just medicating the symptoms.

Broke my radius while skating a couple of months ago. Dr. Katz put a plate in it and now I can swing a hammer like nothing ever happened. As a bonus, everybody that handled me in OT said that he leaves beautiful scars. If I were to break my other wrist, I’d definitely go see him again. Highly recommend!

Called today to get appointment - for dislocated knee. Was told by office staff next week Friday. Even when mentioned I was under pain and was an return client - office staff told me nothing the can do. What a joke!

I broke my knuckle and Dr.Katz is the person who treated me he was a great doctor and very friendly the nurses and staff were very helpful.

Dr.Duckett operated on my torn Achilles. Being 31 and a very active individual this was a devastating injury. Not only was I walking again in 2 months after surgery my scar is only the size of a quarter! Highly recommend.

Dr. Duckett and staff are great. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Duckett listens and is attentive and knows what youre talking about. He explains what/where exactly the issue is and the options available. I had knee surgery and before the procedure he went through what he would be doing and addressed any questions/concerns I had. Surgery was great and I no longer have knee pain.

To the last reviewer. He doesnt treat fibromyalgia hes an orthopedic surgeon. Before you slam a doctor for not giving you pain medicine, go to a doctor that treats your condition. The doctors at this practice are some of the best in the business, wouldnt trust anyone else.

If it wasn’t for my girlfriend arguing with workers comp, I’d have been just as far away. After the arguments, I got an appointment that I needed immediately with Dr Duckett. I am so thankful for the care I received!

Dr. Katz and his staff are absolutely phenomenal.I had carpal tunnel syndrome for over 2 years and had put off surgery out of fear and stubbornness. After trying every brace, every physical therapy option, and every online remedy, I realized that I had to see a surgeon. My numbness and pain had become so severe that I could not do the majority of things that I enjoy doing.From the moment Virginia answered the phone at Academy Orthopedics, I knew I had made the right choice. She was very friendly and personable, while also being informative and professional. She was a joy to speak with every single time I called or went in.Dr. Katz and his nurse, Emma, calmed my nerves and explained every procedure and made sure that I was comfortable and prepared. The surgery was fast and as close to painless as is humanly possible.Spencer, the surgical nurse, had me laughing and kept me occupied during the procedure.After the surgery, I was able to do most things after only two weeks! I cannot believe I waited so long.Choosing Dr. Katz and his team was the best decision I could have made.

Had ACL surgery, first few weeks seemed to be going well, so I was taken off painkillers. Three weeks later Im informed that it wont bend enough and I need more surgery. Of course I do I was set up to fail.I used to be a very active person, this experience has left me disabled, depressed, and in need of more surgery

Broke my arm last fall. Had Dr Katz monitor my recovery and I am happy how it healed up

Just terrible!! Went in for my knees and elbows They took some X-ray’sof knees. Told me I have arthritis and sent me home with no further treatment. Didn’t even address my elbows till I reminded Dr. Katz. He asked if they took an X-ray, which they didn’t, then sent me on my way. I wouldn’t go back here because they do nothing to try and help you!!

Dr. Seidman has the best bedside manner, highly recommended!
