Went in for an exam which was $10 on all the previous visits. After the exam they charged me $90 to get my prescription from them. Same exam for the last 5 years, same exam as my wife but doctor needed to make up for COVID and charged me $90.

Dr. Winson Ong was very helpful and professional! During the time of the pandemic; I ran out of contact lenses and it had been two years since my eyes were examined. Great care was taken during my visit and he’s now our permanent eye care physician.Update; Staff is outstanding, and professional in my second visit since a year ago! Again, couldn’t have asked for a better eye care physician! Thanks again Doc!

Dr. Winson ONG. office is one of the Best optical offices I have been to. The office staff where just wonderful. While I was waiting they offered me water. Once I got to see the Dr. He answered all my questions made me feel at ease. I was looking forward to getting my glasses. They even helped with my Credit Care which I truly appreciate. It was nice to go into a Dr. office and feel welcomed. Thank you for that.

Everyone at VisionOptix went above and beyond to make my 5 year old twins first real eye exam a good one! Turns out my daughter needs a very high prescription and both the Dr and Gina made sure she got everything she needed. My kids love everyone there and they get to color and get stickers when they go! I can’t say thank you enough to Gina who made sure my daughters glasses were perfect! Love VisionOptix!!

Dont bother calling this business if you are a new patient trying to get an appointment. They do not pick up calls during business hours asking you to leave a message which I have done for 3 days without a return call. When someone did pick up the phone, I was told that their scheduling system was down and I would get a return call when it was up and running but I was to be patient as they were short staffed. Tried again today for the last time and was put through to their voice mail again where I voiced my displeasure. My insurance company had recommended them but if that is the way that they deal with clients, I will go elsewhere. Do not waste your time dealing with this business if you want good customer service.

Best optometry office ever! They have an in-house lab. They made me new prescription glasses in 15 minutes!

I have been going to Vision Optix since it opened on Balfour Rd. Dr Ong is the best Optometrist I have ever had. He is caring, honest and is extremely knowledgeable about his discipline. The front desk staff is friendly and also willing to help answer any questions. We love Dr. Winson Ong for eye health, glasses, and contacts! We have been with Dr. Ong since 2010. My vision is rather complicated (double vision astigmatism), but Dr. Winson Ong corrected my glasses way better than what I had with Kaiser, and his prices were cheaper than Kaiser when I compared the exact same glasses specs. Kaiser only offered polycarbonate, but Dr. Ong has a high index lens that is more lightweight than polycarbonate; this is great for a severely near-sighted person like I am, where mine would be super coke-bottle look even with polycarbonate. Dr. Ong is very patient and thorough, always asking if I have any more questions. He has a special machine that takes an image of your retina; his analysis of my retina and scar tissue answered why one eyes vision is not as super perfect as the other, but I see very well with his correction! I give Dr. Winson Ong my highest recommendation.
