Doctor Harden is very nice, patient and responsible. I have seen him for the last 18 years and I trusted him wholeheartedly. The nurses are very nice and helpful as well.

The most thorough eye exams Ive ever had! Other than the walking to all the rooms and levels (Im handicapped) , I am thrilled with Dr Daviss manner! Very impressed. I came there in the late 70s and 80s and saw Dr. Poland, more impressed than ever now!

Megan did a great job of testing my eyes and checking with me on my complicated eye history. She was very personable and fun to talk to.Dr Hobbs answered all my questions and explained some interesting possibilities of why my right eye is producing some changing behavior. They both were willing to spend the necessary time to give me the information I needed.

The team at Minnesota Eye Consultants have a practice that is organized and efficient. The process moved along like a well-oiled machine; this instilled a high level of confidence as I went through corneal transplantations in both eyes. I thought, “These folks really know what they’re doing and how to do it well.” While each appointment was orchestrated I never felt like I was just another body on the assembly line. The entire team is focused on the mission of providing great care and they do a wonderful job of making sure that mission is successful.

High level of expertise on the part of the personnel. Very courteous demeanor. Special shout out to Dr. Tara Barth! The only thing to keep in mind is that the time spent in the waiting room can be lengthy.

In for a cataract consult - Patrick, the technician who did all of the initial tests and workups was really calm and friendly, perfect for an early morning appointment! He explained what all of the different tests were for and checked in often on how I was doing. Couldnt have asked for better!!

The technicians, Jennifer & Paul, were wonderful. Explained what was going on at every turn. Then, Dr. Hardten & Kelsey completed the evaluation with clear and detailed explanations of what was being done and what would happen going forward. I would recommend this team to anyone!!

Very efficient. nice friendly staff. I suggest that when calling patients use first name and first initial of last name. I was called and taken back twice before the staff determined I was the wrong Robert . There were four Roberts in the waiting room.

My first visit was a consultation for cataract surgery. I was seen immediately and waited less than 5 minutes between two of the many tests. Dr. Elizabeth Davis was FANTASTIC. She explained the surgery and my options in detail. Her staff were fun and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend.

I was treated very good. The man that tested me explained what he was doing. But I didn’t find out about the halos.

My 95 year old mother is the patient. Everyone was kind and flexible when dealing with her. Adjustments were made for her wheelchair and the patience exhibited while conducting the exam was appreciated.

Got all the exams done quickly and professionally. They told me it could take 2 1/2 hours, but I was finished in just over an hour. I had a great experience at MN Eye Consultants

Cataract surgery went great! Staff were very knowledgeable and answered all this old ladies questions with a smile. I would definitely recommend your facility. The only thing was not being able to schedule follow ups at the Bloomington location. Some of us oldies have trouble finding rides so far away. When surgery is scheduled follow ups at same facility should be included!!

It was definitely busy but they did a great job with keeping us socially distance all the nurses were amazing the doctor took his time and made sure I understood everything. The reason I’m giving three stars is because the young man at the front desk was absolutely horrible to me a couple days prior to my appointment over the phone, to the point he made me cry. He was extremely rude and short with me when I try to explain to him why I need to be seen he said and I quote “It doesn’t matter why” I immediately got off the phone with him and then called back and got a wonderful woman who treated me with respect and dignity I told her about my situation and what just happened and she said that she would look into it.

I had to reschedule this appointment because of a conflict and got in 3 weeks late, but we got it done.I had a late afternoon appointment and was concerned that things would run late. All staff were warm and welcoming. Every part of appointment took place in a timely fashion. The only thing I wish I had been offered was a direct phone number to the Bloomington Clinic. I forgot to get a list of optical shops for filling my prescription and the phone call to central number was somewhat frustrating. I did eventually get a list.

The staff and doctors were all very helpful and courteous. I was concerned about recent changes to one eye over a weekend. They worked me into their schedule without an appointment and after examining my eye scheduled emergency treatment with a specialist. The amount of care and concern put me at ease and I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking eye care.

Love the doctor and nurses but the wait time was ridiculous! My appt was at 1:30 and I didn’t get called back until 2:30 then the wait for the actual doctor … yikes!! Needless to say, I didn’t walk out of there until 4:15! It was only a consultation !

They will call me to make appointment. Good Bye’s were said. Pleased to meet me.

When meeting with Dr. Davis, very timely and she listens to what you have to say. Very knowledgeable technicians this time.

The clinic must be over scheduling or not allowing enough time per visit. I experienced waiting times in excess of 1 hour before starting the process. I scheduled an 8:20 appointment hoping to avoid the delay. Even that time had a 15 minute delay.

Everything good with the exception of 24 hour Dr. call message. No response unless emergency is confusing and inadequate. Dr.Melicher and nurses were excellent. Person who called back Monday morning was curt and not very pleasant. P.A.was excellent as well.

My appointment today, 07 June 2021, was for examinations and consultation for cataract surgery.Efficient, effective, and professional. On time starting and early exit. All my question and concerns were addressed.My final review will come after surgery on my second eye.

The examination was conducted very proficiently and professionally. It lasted about an hour and a half instead of the 2-21/2 hrs that I was told that it would take.

Dr, is very rushed! Going back in 6 months for check up. Have had surgery on left eye duct, did not work. Do not want a repeat. Tears run down my face.

I called MEC with a sudden, urgent issue. They calmly took my call and got me in to see a specialist right away. From the front desk, to the technicians, and, ultimately, the attending physician, I was treated with respect and compassion. Overall, my experience with MEC was positive. Im grateful for their expertise.

The practitioners that I interacted with in my surgical procedure and follow up at the Bloomington and Minneapolis sights were always informative. explaining what they were doing and the final results were great.

I recently went in for a vision check to see if I was a good candidate for laser, or anything for that matter. I was very impressed by the knowledge and thoroughness of Dr. Hartgen and I believe it was Heidi, who did most of the checks. I know they had advertised a free check, but as thorough and complete it was, I thought for sure I would be getting a bill. Took at least an hr. But no charge, even after it was determined I was not a good candidate at the moment. The place had a great vibe to it I thought .I will go back without hesitation a few yrs down the road, as needed .A+

This is a wonderful eye clinic, from the front desk to the doctors assistant, and Dr. Larson and her scribe. The staff was courteous, professional and interested in treating me. They encouraged questions and offered information that increased my understanding.

I had several tests, and was in and out in about one hour. I expected everything to take two hours. The Dr. and all the techs were very kind and caring. The only negative was having to wear my mask during my field vision test. It was uncomfortable, and I have had both of my COVID vaccinations.

Up until now I have been pretty pleased with the results. Dr. Choo was the person I had an encounter with last October 2020 and my eyes required new lenses due to a change. The astigmatism supposedly need strengthening. I waited until January 2021 to get the new glasses. Everything seemed to be fine with the new glasses until April and I started to have double vision. I went back for a recheck to see what was causing this. This time I saw Tara Barth. According to her the astigmatism had been beena. too strong and it needed to be backed off I a bit. So I got new glasses again, both regular and sunglasses. Being retired and with no eyeware insurance, this is a bit hard on the budget. Worse yet, it that I am still have double vision in my near and middle vision.

Very busy office. The staff is very efficient, but the wait to be seen was almost a half hour longer than my appointment time.

I have been taking my Mom to MEC all through her 80s. She can be difficult at times but the staff and doctors have always been patient and professional. Theyve successfully done trab revisions and cataract procedures for her as well as helping her to understand what to expect from her vision. I would recommend them to anyone looking for top professionals with a patient and personal touch.

I waited only a few minutes for the technician to do the initial eye exam and about 10 minutes afterward to see the doctor. It was a fast appointment so I was happy.

Great group of people. Even though my health insurance wont cover a few of the tests performed, I wont ever go anywhere else. Ill pay the extra mainly because I trust the technicians and doctors there. My eyesight is important to me. I wont take any chances by going elsewhere.

I have been going their for along time. Yesterday my visit did not go well. I waited for 45 minutes before they called me in. I think they should of told me that the doctor was running way behind because of the techs. This made me feel like I was in the way. The tech who stayed late was fabulous. I left without my prescription for my eyes and my new glasses I would need to get. I hope my next visit goes better.
