Jodi is AMAZING! I have curly, puffy, frizzy, but not very thick hair, and the cut she gave me perfectly accommodated my problem locks, by helping them curl better and style better, looking healthier and fuller, and also helping my hair look thicker. She is the best!!

Shear Salon is awesome! I went to see Kevin last week and he did a fabulous job. Best head massage ever. He also takes a lot of time to see what you want as well as makes suggestions. I had a great experience. The salon has great parking and is very nice inside. Its not a chaotic environment like you see at so many salons. I give it my highest rating.

Chiquita is the absolute best. I LOVE going to me appointments because shes such a pleasure to talk to and we have fun! My hair has never looked better or felt healthier than it does now and I owe it all to her! I will always come back, shes amazing! The salon is super nice and the rest of the staff is wonderful too! Great find!

Amazing stylists, comfortable and welcoming atmosphere!. I have been to numerous salons in Atlanta and I have to say that Shear has been the ultimate experience. Ive bounced around looking for the perfect color, reasonable prices, and an inviting atmosphere....finally I can say Ive found it. Jodi, owner of the salon, definitely makes me feel at ease and I completely trust her - shes great at giving opinions, but even better at listening to and giving me exactly what I want. I couldnt be more thrilled to find a stylist like her!The few times Ive had last-minute hair needs (up-do, blowout, quick trim) and Jodi is booked, shes always been more than willing to do what she can to work me in. As we all know, when your hair looks good, it makes you feel good, so most are a little apprehensive to have someone else work on their hair. Despite Jodis generous offer, I went ahead and saw others in the salon instead of wrecking her schedule. And again, couldnt be happier. Molly, Jessica, and Timothy have been amazing and made me feel like I was one of their regulars.For anyone looking for a new salon or searching for a great experience, I give Shear Salon my highest recommendation.

In my experience when people get discounted services they are always the 1st to complain. I had Alyssa as a stylist and she met with me beforehand to discuss the colors and style since I wanted something different than most. Alyssa did an AMAZING job on my hair and spent a lot of time getting everything right and checking to make sure I liked the ideas. I was a little nervous since this was a really different color scheme for me and Ive been to the same stylist for over 10 years before seeing Alyssa. The salon was also able to give me an estimate for the amount which was accurate in the day. I was thrilled with the experience and will definitely be returning. If you look at the site my hair is the one thats blue, aqua, pink, and a slew of other colors. I highly recommend the salon for vivids or more standard colors.

Shear Salon is overall a great experience from the moment you walk in. The always have a welcoming receptionist who offers you a drink as soon as you check in. The staff is always very friendly and the overall vibe is just positive. I have gotten my hair cut from a few hairdressers including the owner Jodi. The staff is always willing to help each other out as well. Finally, I have never had an issue getting an appointment.

Always enjoy my services at Shear Salon. Kevin Hyman did not disappoint with my cut and color and I am scheduling with Lynn to start a new skin care regiment.

I have been going to Jodi for my coiffing needs since last year - after the repeated urging of my friend who is a Jodi devotee. All I can say is that I am SO glad I made the change. I love Jodi! She is a perfectionist (in the best sense), uber personable, a consummate business woman and a cutie (albeit a happily married one, with two beautiful kiddos). It always makes me smile when I think about getting my hair cut :-).More importantly for anyone reading this, Jodi knows how to cut some hair! She also does coloring for my friend and even recently gave her a completely new style with extensions that looked fabulous. Its clear that shes also put a lot of thought and attention into the design of her salon - its open, inviting and always immaculate.

Brandy is incredible!!!! I wont let anyone else touch my hair- including my mother! She fixed a long standing color problem I was having at another salon, and has transformed me into a more confidant person by helping me choose the right color and cut for me.Theres a reason I drive almost an hour to see her!

If i could give this place negative stars, I would!!!!!!!! It doesnt even deserve the one star!! STAY AWAY from this place! and on top of that DONT buy their coupons or deals! If you dont make your appointment this place keeps your coupon and your screwed out of luck and your money! I cant even believe how this places does business like this. Im rather glad this happened because I wouldnt want to continue to give my hard earned cash to a place as shady as this! Stay the hell away from this place! And be assured Ill be disputing this with my CC company!

Ive gone to see Kevin twice and every time he goes out of his way to make sure he explains exactly what hes going to do and takes time to listen to my thoughts. I have been to numerous salons in Atlanta and all are either great and overpriced, or ill equipped and I have to go back several times. Timothy Keys is an outstanding hair stylist. I attended school with Tim.. Ive seen his work before and after and he has styled my hair... He does an excellent job.. Hes a wonderful stylist and he cares for the hair not just do it no matter what the damage might be..If its harmful to the hair, he wont do it... this is not his style. Oh my goodness, just had my hair colored with Perrin, she is awesome!! I was very nervous to try a new salon and a new stylist. I decided to book an appointment since they had good reviews and theyre close. I have fine blonde hair. I wanted natural blonde highlights and low lights. To add to the stress I wanted her to fix my pervious color which was too dark. I couldnt be happier! Perrin is fun, professional and she did EXACTLY what I asked for. Best color Ive gotten in Atlanta! I immediately booked for six weeks. The salon was pretty and definitely a hidden gem. Five stars!
