I walked into this Supercuts location (930 Sprint St NW, Atlanta, GA 30309) about 4-5 months ago and was lucky enough to get paired up with a fantastic hair stylist, Bruce.Bruce is hands down one of the best stylists Ive come across in a long time. He is super patient, listens to his customer, is a perfectionist (a positive in my book), and, most importantly, delivers an amazing haircut time after time.Needless to say, Ive seen Bruce every time over the past 4-5 months, and he has not disappointed once.If youre looking for a great haircut, please visit this Supercuts location, and make sure you ask for Bruce!!!

I have used Super Cuts for years and this is the worst experience I’ve ever had. The guy doing the cut couldn’t get the hair even and just kept cutting shorter and shorter. When I asked for him to stop, he appeared genuinely surprised. When trying to comb and section the different parts of my hair, he just mounded it on top of my head, causing it to tangle. When he attempted to comb it out, it was painful and I could feel my hair breaking. He asked another employee for assistance after several attempts to get my hair even, however, the employee appeared to be begin teaching basic techniques. I don’t know why I had to pay for this, they should have paid me for absolutely ruining my hair. I asked for just over the shoulders and left with an uneven 1920’s bob

I have been a costumer for the last year, and in general I am very happy with the service. For the last three times I have had Bruce as my stylist, and he did a really great job with my hair. He is patient and listens carefully to the instructions and the details you care about. He is a very talented artist. I highly recommend him as a stylist.

Asked for a side part, guy ended up giving me a poorly done bowl cut. He clearly didnt care and rushed me. Nearly cut me several times. Easily the worst haircut Ive ever gotten. Avoid this place if you value your hair or your money.EDIT : Upon looking at some other reviews, Im wondering if the person who cut my hair is new. I see a lot of other people having issues with him. Either way the guy doesnt know how to cut hair and shouldnt be allowed remotely close to anywhere involving hair.

Charlie cut my hair and did an awesome job. She knew how to cut my hair based on its needs more than I could’ve even asked for. Will for sure be seeing her again!

About a month ago or so, I came in for a haircut. My hair had no style whatsoever and was quite frizzy and becoming long. I scheduled an appointment with Tracy B. I told her I wanted something that would help with my frizziness and fit my face shape well. She gave me suggestions and helped me visualize it by showing me pictures before starting to cut. I absolutely loved how my hair turned out and right now it still looks great. I definitely recommend coming here for students on a budget and for people who need advice.

Ive been coming here for a couple years and have always found the barbers to be friendly and engaging. Today, I scheduled an appointment, there were two barbers working - Bruce and Jeremy. When I walked in, one of the barbers said Hi and I responded Hi and sat down. The barber seemed agitated and asked me if I checked in online, I said I did. When he walked over to the register, he and the other barber said something to each other, he scoffed and the other barber laughed. Confused, I asked if there was a problem. He responded yes, we both said hi to you and you didnt say anything.Clearly they didnt hear me, maybe because I was wearing a mask. I told them Id go somewhere else and left. Im not one to overreact, but to me this was rude and unprofessional. Was it a misunderstanding? Maybe. But I wont be back.

I booked a Supercut ($18) appointment for 3 on on Wednesday and they got to me by 3:40 because one of the two stylists was chatting with the other stylist and was on the phone. The man did a good job, but it was the fastest haircut of my life and I kind of got rushed out without him asking any of my feedback

If you check in online the wait is much shorter if at all. Staff is very friendly and they always clean and sanitize between each customer

What’s the sense of making an appointment if their not gonna honor the appointment time. I set my appointment and I had to be at work but they don’t want to take their booked appointments first so I’ll take my business elsewhere

I hesitate to write about my experience b/c I am afraid that you will ALL book up Tasha. She is incredible. She is professional, fun, inviting, and INCREDIBLE with the clippers / scissors. She gets every piece of my haircut correct EVERY time. Shes cut my hair 6=7 times now. That is the longest tenure of almost any hair stylist Ive ever had. She really is the best Ive had in 7 years! Always a friendly staff. Go when GA Tech students are on break or in class (less crowded). Stylist Donald has been there practically since it opened. And hes da bomb! I always ask for him.

If youre a guy just looking to get a quick fade this is a great bang for your buck option. This is obviously not going to be the same quality as a 40 dollar haircut from a salon, but if you get the 4 haircuts for 50 dollar coupon you get incredible value for what you get. Only issue I had with the place was pre-covid many times when I placed an appointment for a certain time the stylist would only be free 45 minutes later which is frustrating if youre short on time.

WORST HAIRCUT EVER!!!!! First I had to wait for 20 minutes after my scheduled time, then the barber was EXTREMELY unprofessional. He wouldnt let me see my hair or make any comments on what I wanted because I should let him work. I kept asking him to not cut so much off and he aggressively told me to stop pestering him. I ended up with a haircut I didnt want with sloppy mistakes all over. There are certain bits that are uneven length and he did not listen to any of my preferences/concerns. This place stinks.

My hairdresser Felicia did a stellar job with my cut, and my hair looks even better than it did when I used to go to a high-end salon in my hometown. Wonderful attention to minute detail and a friendly, polite atmosphere. Not what Id expect for what I paid; pleasantly surprised for certain.

I have been to over 20 different barbershops in my life so my opinion (not saying my opinion would be the only one that matters) but it will be the most experience. So last week I went to Supercuts across from Publix, in Atlanta to get my haircut, I wanted it in a mohawk it was a lady that cut my hair ,not that Im saying that (ladies cant cut hair) it just that this particular one she did okay job but nowhere close to being grate. first she didnt cut hair even so she had to cut even more off then even after that there tl was a little bald patch that I can easily feel when I run my fingers through it. Now understand Perfection is something you can only strive for but you can never accomplish it but still all she had to do is cut in a straight effing line, now I didnt say anything while I was there because I didnt really believe theres was anything she could do to fix it, I saw that she tried to put hair over it but even then, I knew that she messed it up. the worst part is that she didnt even say anything, she just acted like it was fixed( I dont know if she just didnt have accountability or she just didnt know it wasnt fix) but even now I can feel the little ball patch that is missing hair when I try to run a straight line down my head. Long story short ,all in all, if you want a simple regular haircut then by all means that what you can get, but if you want anything complicated then you best go up the street and spend an extra $10 because at the end of the day this is your hair and this is what everyones going to see and to me this just felt like another $20 to them and they didnt care anything about your hair.Now this could be just me but whan it came down to cutting hair her technique and her skill show me that she didnt really have that much skill on something as simple as a mohawk, I still saw that she had a certificate and a license to cut hair but Im guessing they just gave that out to anyone that day. I might still go there again but next time Ill just have someone else cut my hair shes never touching my head again she still wasnt rude or anything she was nice. The problem is her skill.

They literally have one person running the entire shop. I booked online for a 1:00 appointment and waited 30 minutes. The one employee was working very hard, but he had 3-4 clients at the same time... I won’t use this location again.

Since this Supercuts reopened, there has only been one person working, who is rude and not very efficient. I had to have him clean off the seat in order for me sit down. He rushed through my haircut, complaining about other customers the entire time. Today, I made an appointment for 5:00 on the app, and at 5:21, he still had two customers in front of me. What’s the point of making an appointment?

Didnt notice until i got home but took a chunk of hair out beside my ear and never said - had to get another barber to fix it

It was bad honestly.I had hair all around my body itching for the whole day after. The cut was really rough (Im ok with trying to go faster, but not missing hair and harm your client).2 stars for the affordable price.

This location used to be on its last leg. Since it opened, it had been going downhill with its stylists and leads. I had gone through all of them and couldnt get a decent cut. It was also a race to get through each cut in record time while sacrificing any sort of quality. Recently, however, something changed dramatically for the better. The place is 1000% more professional, and it seems like every stylist is great and knows what theyre doing. Each of them looks like they actually enjoy their work and take their time with each customer.

Great place walking distance to my condo. Service is very decent. Took appointment online and got a session with Charlene for regular hair cut. Charlene is great and would definitely recommend her to others. Very happy with results

It is a great place to get a haircut. The waiting time is medium to short, but I usually wait a little longer, as I like to choose my stylist. The hair stylist that I usually go to is Donald, who is great. Donald is fun, and will give a great haircut. As a bonus he cares about how you look like so hell make suggestions for a better look. I have not tried the others, except for a small haircut, which went great.

Friendly staff who give decent haircuts, but not great with timeliness. They should know their customers in Midtown dont have time to wait or waste.

Gave me an awful haircut. I asked for a simple trim and the guy kept making faces and taking off more until my sides and back of my head was completely shaved then upon seeing my student ID at checkout said “ah we went with a new look today” when in reality that’s the picture of the cut I showed him. I have more faith in Hellen Keller to cut my hair in the future.

My styler Charlie did a pretty good job today! Going for haircut has nothing to do with store but all about who shaves your hair!Not sure about her schedule but today is Friday morning. Also, Donald is pretty good as well! Friendly and good skill, I got him for my cut last December and had a good experience. Standard hair cut. I definitely recommend it over great clips in Tech Square for GT students. It is a couple dollars cheaper and equally good. Overall very clean place and good experience. I have never had to wait in line in the 4 or 5 times I have been there

If I could’ve gave negative stars I would! Something really needs to be done about the manger at this establishment (James) .. so my boyfriend purchased a 4 for $40 card.. at the time he thought that was a good idea after realizing we was not going to use the card he tried to return the card for a refund which is something common at least we thought.. unfortunately my boyfriend was rudely asked “ are you pressed for money or something?” Which no we are not but however that was very unprofessional and just RUDE!!!!! Especially coming from someone that’s called a “manger “ my boyfriend was offended and bullied into keeping the card which is totally wrong. Which that’s fine if we have to keep the card no worries on that but the issue is the rude and unprofessional response! It’s not what you do is who you do it .. and the way he handled the situation was disrespectful and disgusting 🤮 we won’t be returning for and service from this place stay away if he is working 🙅🏼‍♂️

Supercuts has never been stellar, but I can deal with the average cuts as long as the hairdressers are polite or friendly. The hairdresser I had today (1:30 1/26/19) was both rude and delivered a sub-par haircut. Never have I had someone snap their fingers at me and later mumble something about communication. Never have I had a hairdresser ask if the clearly unblended haircut is good. Never have I had a hairdresser trim the back of my neck with a few lazy swipes that clearly didnt cover the whole area. Ill be looking for a new place that respects their clients and values doing a good job.

Why would someone want to pay $17 for an ear and neck trim that takes 5 mins from a Supercuts? Definitely wouldn’t recommend coming here. Wanted to update this as they called today to offer me a free haircut to take the review down because they made a mistake. No you didn’t make a mistake, you just didn’t think anyone would say anything and you would be called out. Still not recommending.

Got some braids done here. They were awful. They unraveled a day later. The manager was rude. And they charged $100! I’ve gotten better braids done for cheaper.

We have patronized this Supercuts since it first opened and it’s great. We were Donald’s first customers and he and Judy treat us like family when we come in. The haircuts they give us are superior and the price is right.

Look. I get it if you cut my hair poorly. Thats one thing.But if I STILL tip you 5 on 17, you cut my hair poorly, AND when I call to get you to shave up the back of my neck (an essential to any cut) and you give me cattitude and say youll TRY to stick around until I walk 20 minutes to get back to you (cuz you get off in 15), ....no.

Im not local to ATL. I went in a couple of months ago because I wanted 3 inches chopped off. Just that, nice and simple. My hair is very manageable and I like to keep it low maintenance - no bangs, no complicated colors, textures, or styles. Just long hair with light layers. The girl who cut my hair was really nice. She asked if I wanted my hair layered. Assuming she was going to keep to long, light layers (which is what I walked in with), I said yes. Not only are the 3 layers I ended up with uber distinct from each other, the 3 inches I asked for somehow became cutting off 5-9 inches depending on the layer. Was it hideous? No. In its own way it was kind of cute (when styled), but it was NOT WHAT I WANTED. AT ALL. I guess just be super specific about what you want when going in.

Got my hair cut here on a whim to see what it would look like, and Im so glad I did. Brittini was super nice and gave me one of the best haircuts Ive had in a long time (for just $10). Will definitely come back.

Tiare is excellent. She has become my go to stylist since I moved to Atlanta a few months ago. She is friendly, smart, fast and talented. Has even stayed past her scheduled time a few times when I came in for a cut.

I was getting my hair cut by April and she was wearing a bandaid on her finger while cutting my hair. She could have at least had a glove on because next thing you know shes cutting off pieces of her bandaid and theyre falling into my lap. She was in such a rush it only took 10 minutes, how is this possible? There was no effort put into my haircut and a complete waste of $20. When it comes to haircuts, you get what you pay for and this was a complete mistake. Do not recommend!

This location is operated by a franchisee that cares about her business and stylists. There is a core group of 3 -4 stylists that have been there for years. This location is a trendier version of the corporate operated locations with a well kept interior.

Everything is good, but do not let them flow style into your head. It charges 6 dollars.

Cutter did not appear to care about my appearance. Offered no opinion of her own on what would look best. My hair looked worse after cut than before. Came in wanting to square off hair a little, but she did more than that and left hair lopsided. Spent entire time talking to other worker.

Worst experience at a Hair Salon ever! The stylist was rude and unprofessional. I tried to be polite even after being treated badly and she did not change her tone, she continued to be rude. This is probably the worst customer experience I have had by far, Supercuts needs to have more stringent behavioral analysis of staff and training based on how to treat customers. Me and 2 other friends who joined me that day are never going into this location again and if this continues, I am sure we wont be last ones to blacklist Supercuts from our list of salons.

For the past year I have had to try a new barber for almost every haircut. No more of that. The amazing Donald is back in Midtown.

Absolutely amazing from giving us directions to assisting with the parking meter to the lovely cut he gave my mother. The stylist was on point, friendly and full of great energy!

I came in for a simple blowout. You have to register on an iPad when you walk in for what you are there for I asked them what length my hair was since its a little past my shoulders and was told to put long then got charged for XXLong. The actual blowout took too long and while I understand my hair isnt the easiest to work with the girl styling it had similar hair so it was a shock she couldnt manage mine. It cost me more than I usually pay and it was mediocre. The three guys that got haircuts while I was there seemed to have much better luck so probably better for buzzcuts. And they all came in after me and left before me.

Vet poor experience. Overall 3 minutes long haircut. When I asked politely to slow down and pay attention to my thin hair. They said no. I suggested they should pay more attention to customers after I finished. They asked me to leave. Good luck for Supercut cuz I don’t think y’all last long with this kind of employees.
