This was my first experience with the salon and my first time receiving a keratin treatment. It was wonderful from start to finish. I was greeted as soon as I arrived. The salon and staff are friendly, inviting, and fun! Two stylists took time to ask questions and make sure my expectations were in line with what the treatment could deliver. First time visiting this salon and my appointment was with Paula.....it didnt go well at all. I was asked to take my wig off in the waiting area so she could see my hair 🙄 then it was all chopped off way shorter than the pictures I showed her within minutes of sitting in her chair. No real consultation at all..just relaxed and cut my hair more and more until there was nothing left. I hated it so much and I had a head full of healthy hair....I wish I wouldve done my research on her. Horrible experience. Not to mention I was left under the dryer for at least 2 hours while she rotated 3 more ppl to dry 3 inches of hair! Never again!!!!

Salon Moraee is my destination for a mid-week pick-me-up! The salon is BEAUTIFUL and modern and almost custom-built safe space for me. The staff is friendly and warm and they CAN DO SOME HAIR in there. There is usually a glass of wine or water to enjoy during dryer time, good smells being diffused and grooves playing in the background.SHAMIR is my stylist!

Anyone that can tame my wild mane will generally win brownie points from me but these guys went above and beyond. I was beside myself and ready to chop it off after so much frustration at trying to keep it detangled. The young lady at the wash bowl was quick and thorough and got out the knots and my scalp feels all the better. The stylist in charge of the straightening got it silky and smooth and thanks to the skillful trimming all the places I rage cut you dont even see anymore. And both were patient and professional and continued to assure that they were going to make it right and they absolutely did that!

Michael gave me a shampoo, style, trim and hydration treatment. I’m very pleased with my hair. It’s bouncy, shiny and beautiful 😍

My experience at this Salon was not a good one. First of all the prices that are on the website does not apply to the service you will receive. I came in for a Full Head of Highlights and came out with blotches of uneven color in my hair. Micheal was a nice guy but color is not where his expertise is. After Michael put the hair color in which included bleach he proceeded to comb my hair and use a towel to remove the bleach. That’s crazy!!!Of course I received breakage, what cosmetologist combs through bleached hair from the root to the tip??? He added on charges that I didn’t ask for like toner, and a treatment he made that had my hair hard. I went in expecting to pay $160 and left paying $300 for a hair color I did not ask for. My advice if you’re new to Atlanta do not go here!!!!

Terrible experience! I called and made an appointment over the phone yesterday. I filled out the questionnaire on the appointment website as was requested of me via email. I walked into the salon 5 minutes early and after stating hello first was not greeted but instead rudely asked “Do you have an appointment?” I then went into my phone to confirm who my appointment was with and was surprised to find out that my appointment was with the gentleman that was asking me who my appointment was with. He had no idea that I was coming in for appointment and at that point in time had a client in the chair with a wig cap on. I sat for 30 minutes while he continued to work on his client. At this point I was furious because it is blatant disrespect for my time and just pure terrible customer service. At the very least an apology would have been the bare minimum. I guess because I was coming in for a $55 wash and set as opposed to a $250 wig I wasn’t valued. I walked out and no attempts were made to contact me or make the situation right.I wish I could’ve left zero stars. Nonetheless, I’ll be sure to share my experience with my clients should they ask for a stylist recommendation as they often do.

This was my first time visiting the salon and it was fantastic!First, the salon is beautifully designed, well-kept, clean, and very spacious. My appointment was with Alisia. Upon arriving I was pleasantly greeted by Alisia (she is the salon owner) who asked me to tell her about my hair, how Id like it styled and escorted me to the shampoo bowl. I recently took down crocheted faux locs and made an appointment for the “Shampoo + Style- Scalp Detox.” If you’ve never had a scalp detox, do yourself a favor and book one NOW!The Shampoo: Tayler shampooed and performed the detox on my scalp. Aside from being friendly and having great energy, she was thorough and mindful of me being “tender- head.” It’s important to note, my detox involved scratching the build up and dry skin off my scalp, but it wasn’t painful. When the water touched my scalp during the shampoo, it literally felt like my scalp could breathe and was actually absorbing the water! After my shampoo and detangle (which was surprisingly seamless), Tayler gave my neck and scalp a quick massage before placing me under the dryer with my conditioner. *The dryer seating was very comfortable and was an overhead dryer that didn’t make you feel confined to an uncomfortable hooded dryer chair*Styling: Alisia was great and very mindful of the care she was taking while styling my hair. Additionally, her spirit seemed to keep the energy fun and upbeat in the salon. As she was blowing out my hair, I shared with her that I have not been detangled so easily before (my hair is very dense and all natural/ coils), she quickly gave props to Tayler for doing such a good job with the conditioning and detangling process- that’s not only the sign of a great salon owner, but a team player who lifts others up. Throughout the process, Alisia was mindful of consistently spraying heat protectant on every area before applying heat. Additionally, she pointed out that I needed a trim and did NOT cut all my length off- Hallelujah!My hair was beautifully done and to top it all off when I returned home, one of my neighbors complimented my hair sharing how flawless and healthy it looked. Needless to say, I left Salon Moraee as a happy new client who will certainly return again! Thank you, Tayler, and Alisia for bringing my scalp and hair back to life!

Today I went in for a hair consultation with Darius Keon bc I seen his hair cuts and was very impressed. When I got there for my 3:00 consultation he was not done with his client until 3:30 which was fine. Once I got in his chair I explained to him that I had medical issues which caused my hair to fall out So I wanted to get a haircut with the sides of my head shaved. I mentioned to him I had a keratin treatment a few months ago and a few other things. I don’t know anything about Hair so I did mention a perm which if couldn’t get one it’s OK I just wanted to do what was best for the hair style . He then proceeded to the front desk to speak with a lady who was very informative and told me what I could and couldn’t do and I really appreciated that. The way he went to speak to her about what I wanted felt very shady he proceeded to say things like she had a keratin treatment and trying to ask me for a perm. He didn’t have to have that energy I just wanted to start fresh and new. I was still polite and took everything the lady was informing me about very well bc she had Genuine energy but before I left Darius Keon looked At my purse and said oh I like your purse is bebe stores still open which really made me feel less than I explain to him I got this at an outlet a few years ago and I’m not sure if the store is still open or not . I don’t know what that has to do with my hair so I took it as shade . What I want to explain to Darius is I lost my mother a year ago and then had to fight for my on life. After that statement I left feeling less than but I have to remember what my mother always told me I’m God’s child and I will always be taken care of . I want you Darius Keon to remember this you will have to be humble one day God will make sure of it coming from someone who knows . I just pray you make it through with your head held high.

I LOVE MICHAEL!! I walked in not knowing what to do with my hair, and I was so embarrassed at the state of my hair that I half expected that Id be turned away. However, Michael was so nice and I trusted him right off the bat to give me something that I could manage on my own for a while. After the relaxer and style, I could hardly believe how amazing my hair looked - I feel so pretty!! Michael is truly a talent - 110%! Thanks again, and Ill definitely be back soon!

So I was supposed to get my hair done by another person at the salon but he took the day off so without contacting me and my mother first they had somebody do my hair who just got out of beauty school and it was her first day there. I was there for 4 hours and it looks terrible. They spendthalf the time taking pictures of me. They did do a good job with the steam treatment though. Overall I would not go here again, my hair dosent even look straight it looks blowdryed. shampoo

I am so happy that Ive found a place so close to my home that provides exceptional quality services. For the second time, I saw Darius Keon who gave me the most amazing wash and straightening that Ive had in Atlanta. Never has my press lasted this long.I love that the wash bowls are super comfortable, NEVER leaving my neck aching or water running all down my back. Then, the warm towel is the most refreshing part of the conditioning process. I have never experienced this outside of a pedicure! So this easily became my favorite part of my hair appointments. Next, were off to Darius Keons chair in which my blow dry is almost reminiscent of what others considered straightening of my hair. This review is long over due. Darius did my hair weeks ago and it’s still beautiful and shiny. It was my first visit to this salon and I was thoroughly impressed with how prompt and courteous he was, no waiting here! Thoroughly impressed indeed. I was also impressed with the space..very clean and modern. A little pricier than I was used to but it was so worth every penny! I’ll be back.

There are so many great things I can say about Salon Moree & Stylist Tonya Oby. I was referred by a friend & had my first visit November of 2018...from then on I’ve been hooked! The staff is so professional...you check in there’s no 20-30 min. wait time your appointment time is YOUR appointment time! Tonya is so sweet & her hands are blessed! She nurtures your hair & makes sure it’s growing & in a healthy state every visit. She always gives me tips & advise on what I need to do @ home to insure my hair is being properly cared for in between visits. It’s been a year in my hair transitioning journey & let me tell you my hair has absolutely flourished & I couldn’t have done it with out Tonya!!

I just moved into the apartments where the Salon is located and had been waiting for the salon open. Once I saw it was open I immediately walked in and was greeted by the owner. They had a special $39 for wash and style so of course I wanted to take it it. I couldnt do the appointment that day but the owner let me have that price for the next week.What I first noticed when I walked in is the cleanliness and the modern design. It is so gorgeous in there, who wouldnt want to be in a beautiful place to get their hair done. When I got there for my appointment, my hair stylist was running behind so I sat for about ten minutes. My stylist was very nice and washed my hair and used a great shampoo that had tea tree oil. It smelled great and felt good. I also had a deep conditioning. After getting my hair dried, I had great conversation with my stylist as she did my hair. I was very satisfied and made a return appointment. I look forward to continue to have my services done there.

Very modern attractive environment. Michael was my stylist. He was so gentle with my natural hair. I got my hair blowed out and flat ironed. He convinced me to trim it, which was a good call - he made it look very neat and healthy without chopping off too much. I got a first timers discount which was significant and greatly appreciated.

Salon Moraee is definitely a new location that I will be visiting often. When walking in I immediately felt comfortable, welcome, and it was a wonderful vibe and atmosphere. Bruce is amazing and very professional. He already had my appointment set up in the system and he was waiting for me. Alicia greeted me and double checked all of my information. I was immediately offered water or coffee and the salon was clean and well organized. Products were out for you to see and purchase if needed. The difference between getting your hair done and good hair care practices was made very evident to me . I entrusted them with my hair recently for a simple wash, deep condition and blow dry to prep my hair for a protective style . However , I left with an itchy , inflamed scalp with hair loss . When I asked to come in for it to be checked out I was told “busy day” .

My stylist was Alicia Flores I have been going to her on an off over the past few years . First off let me start by saying I am a muslim woman , when I first met the owner she was so kind to me and my mother and actually made changes to her first salon during my appointment to accommodate me ! I needed a private place to have my hair done and she made that happen! I just went to her new salon and BAM ! She had a beautiful private room to accommodate women who wear Hijab ! My hair was in really bad shape and she brought back my confidence as a woman once she was done ! I only go to Alicia because my experience with her is always so amazing ! I have not had the chance to experience any of the other stylists but they are always smiling and friendly! The salon is beautiful and I wish her more success in her journey ! # customer for life ♥️

I came to the shop because I was impressed by the reviews. Let me start off by saying I was pleased with my results, my hair color and flat iron. But when I came at my appt time I waited about 40 minutes before even getting called into the chair. And when I did get called into the chair, He didn’t even apologize for the long wait. I thought at this point I would get uninterrupted service, but that was not the case. I was in the shop for over 5 hours!!! For what should have taken about 3 hours! And even after I had to wait MULTIPLE times on my service, at the end asked if he could help me just put my hair up to save my hairstyle for the evening, he had the nerve to tell me he didn’t have the time! The shop is absolutely beautiful and I would have loved to start going here, but not anymore. The first impression was not that great.......the same day of this review, the manager reached out to me and kept reaching out to me to get a better understanding of what happened. We talked a few days later and she sincerely apologized and even offered a true “Salon Moraee” experience which I accepted. She made it clear that the experience I had was not acceptable and I do believe her! Will post another review when I go back to her specifically.

My stylist was Bruce Marshall. He is AMAZING! First of all Im all natural and he crushed all the doubts I had that someone could really take my hair. The salon has a beautiful and peaceful ambiance, and they treat you like a queen from the moment you walk in. From the complimentary wine to the shampoo reclining chairs, the client experience is wonderful. I will definitely be back!

The first visit I had was with Kendall. He was very consultative and explained everything he was doing and why. I’m tender headed and his hands are heavy...but in his defense my hair was very matted when coming in and he was detangling that mess. I left with beautiful hair and Kendall did a good job with finding some solutions to issues I had.Then I came back and Kendall wasn’t there so I was serviced by Darius. He has the most gentle hands ever and my shampoo experience was amazing. I had no pain whatsoever while he blew my hair out and he had a good sense of humor. I LOVED Darius. I left gorgeous again and my hair was very bouncy and flowing. I think I have found my forever stylist. He was amazing!

I went to Salon Moraee a few weeks ago for a shampoo and style. Logan was excellent!! She gave me the best massage ever and took her time with my hair. Afterwards, my hair was shining and so soft!! The prices are a little high for a shampoo/style but they have great customer service so its worth the money. I look forward to going back soon!!

Well ! I called the salon today to ask about the prices. Mind you, they are not clear about it. I was told something and when I reached there, the girl who was supposed to do my hair, had no clue about prices. She was asking someone on the phone about pricing and wasted 30min of my time. I finally just got a trim and style including shampoo for fricking $75 🙄 My hair looks nice, nothing very impressive, overpriced for the slow service. I got frustrated. I spent 2hrs at the salon for a trim !!

The owner/ receptionist, Alisia, was polite, patient and informative, taking time to answer all of my questions. My stylist, Kyndra, was very gentle with my wash and silk press. My hair is uneven. $50 too much for a trim. They call it expert styling. The pricing was posted. I just do not feel I got my money worth. Nothing against them, it was just not for me. Alicia Flores did my hair. I think she was too busy trying to make it look good for her followers on Facebook. She took a lot of one side sitting that one side was shorter, now it is the opposite. I will not be back. She also took pictures, which I found strange for something that was just a trim.They did call and offer to fix it, but I wont be back.I did read the salons response to my review. They never discussed prices when I walked in or did a quality audit. I have no idea what they are talking about. It looked good when they curled it. I guess that is what they ment.

Bruce took very good care of my 4c hair type. I am tender headed and he attentive and was gentle.

I went to Shamir as a recommendation! He’s totally professional and patient! I was having a breakdown, due to service at another salon! However, he treated my hair! And it’s totally back bouncing and behaving! I love his work and his energy! He’s total into HAIR CARE! I’ll be back ! Thanks a Million Shamir and Ebony for the referral!

Ok so let me tell you how great they are and how great falen is. When I tell you I walked in was greeted showed around the salon. It was awesome. Falen told me what she was doing to my hair and what I needed also. Even to take care of it at home. I am so glad I found a place here in Atlanta to get my hair down now. I love it I will be back thanks.

I moved here last year from California Not able to find anyone to do my hair without over processing my hair. I had a full head of long, strong healthy hair. Two weeks ago I was referred to Ms. Logan Jones my new hair stylist which came highly recommended. I called and made an appt. I had a 45 min drive but I was determine to take that drive. I was very impressed of the atmosphere, and location. It is nice this Salon has 15 shampoo bowls and several hair dryers. The professionalism, greeting and warm welcoming from Ms Logan and staff is amazing. Most important I didn’t have to wait for my hair stylist she was on time. That shows me as a client my time and scheduling an appt matters. I like how she taken time ask questions examined, felt and looked at my hair informed me the condition of my hair was in. Ms Logan explained the kind of hair products and conditioning she was going to use and the need to cut off some of the damaged hair. I love the fact that she can do all type of hair. I can leave out of this shop feeling beautiful by the head like I had my hair done. One thing I did observed was that everyone in that salon were excellent hair artist even with walkin. I have worked with him for 5 years and he has grown my hair to the middle of my back and kept it healthy.I have followed him to every Salon and this one is by far my favorite. Shawon has been doing my hair for about 9 mos & I have yet to be disappointed. I love that she is always friendly & inviting. I also love the ambiance of the salon & the music is everything! On 7/14/18, I got fingerwaves for the first time (short hair) & Shawon knocked it out of the park!!!🤗 I cant wait to go to work on Monday to cute that place up.😆 I definitely recommend Shawon Pinder if you are looking for someone to take care of your hair.Tomika

Where do I begin?! Shamir Wallace is one of the BEST stylist I have had. Relocating to Atlanta it had been a challenge for me to find a stylist that truly cared about natural hair maintenance as well as being able to properly install my lace wig. The wash is to DIE FOR, and he keeps my natural hair very healthy, strong and continuously growing!Shamir makes the BEST lace wigs and the install is perfect-YES I STILL HAVE EDGES!He is very passionate about his work and every visit, the salon experience has been amazing. Beautiful atmosphere, professional staff and you arent in the salon all day.My sister even comes from Nashville to get her natural hair done and colored. Thanks Shamir for all that you do!

I came to Salon Moraee last week because I wanted to try a new hair color that I found on Pinterest. I received the exact look I was going for! Shamir is literally the Best Colorist and he actually took the time to make sure the colors were spot on with the image I gave him. I absolutely love my hair and I am extremely impressed with the service I received from Shamir and the salon as well! I definetely recommend going to Salon Moraee and I look forward to going back.

Ive been coming to Salon Moraee, and specifically my stylist Shawon, since their Midtown days. Thrilled with the Buckhead location! The salon is always bright, clean, and comfortable. The owner Alisia greets you warmly when shes there onsite. Stylists are friendly and professional. Easy access & ample parking.

OMG, I just left the salon after stylist Britney styled my AA curly/colored hair, I was her hair model today.👉🏾Stylist Kyndra is my regular hair care professional 🤗, silk press. Kendras demeanor and technique is unmatched. Stylist Tory, custom colored my hair utilizing her signature balayage method, it was and still is beautiful, thank you once again. Im really thankful for Salon Moraees location, it is in close proximity to my residence. The owner, Alesyah Flores is a class act and I appreciate how she treats her staff and clients👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾For those who are concerned with amenities, etc.: Wine/Sodas/H20 is complimentary. Private rooms are offered at no cost to the clients. The salon is mad spacious and simply chic. The styling and washing stations have the clients comfort at the forefront. The products used are top of the line brands.

I wrote a review a week or so ago of Salon Moraee because the lady who answered when I called for an appointment was very impersonal, and responded to my good morning, how are you?... with an abrupt FINE. She offered zero professional courtesy or polite phone etiquette by asking the same of me. I was totally turned off at such curt responses so I told her I had wrong number and ended the call.She showed no interest or concerns for me and why I called that morning or returned my call, until my review posted. I would like to believe her efforts to make that unfortunate situation right, by way of a free haircut if I take my review down, would be OK.The irony to this story is this woman was borderline harassing me with phone calls and texts to take the review down and now all the stylists at this salon are too busy, and booked all day and all night, to get me in before my surgery next Tuesday the 20th. Today is Monday and I wrote the review Tuesday the 6th. Still no haircut even though I took the review down right away. It seems once again my courteous nature was not mirrored by this salon.Funny how this salon was able and willing to squeeze that other reviewer in the same day she called just this past week.The sense of urgency on behalf of Salon Moraee seems to have faded (with me), now that I deleted the review. I prefer to share my experience with others versus a free haircut anyway.......Alisia is now trying to say I cancelled two appointments, which is simply not true. She was not polite, professional or courteous when she answered my original call, so special attention was not required. I only expect to be treated as I treat others. This woman is over the top manipulative and dishonest. I suggest if you want a haircut you might want to go somewhere else just to avoid this womans outrageous attempts to debunk the fact she is just rude in general.
