Everyone at the salon was so sweet and Rachel did a phenomenal job with my hair! I was concerned about the last formula my last stylist (somewhere else) used but Rachel touched up my roots and added some lowlights to help blend my color more throughout my hair and it completely changed how I feel about the color. Im not great at knowing *exactly* what I want in the salon but she helped turn my vague requests into something beautiful. And the haircut looks amazing too!And yall, can I tell you about their shampoo bowls?? There is a headrest inside it so your neck isnt crunched over the edge of the bowl. Life CHANGING for someone like me with a sensitive neck. And Rachel gives a great head massage too!Whole experience was the highlight of my month :)

The hairstylist herself was very nice. However the process and outcome were terrible. Everything from the dye left to stain my skin and my new glasses frames. Ive done everything to try and remove it and cant. They are ruined. Also there is the sole fact that I asked that she cover the grey. When in the right lighting you cant tell but when you get outdoors its super obvious. I wanted to treat myself after overcoming some health issues and found myself leaving disappointed. The whole point of this was to NOT have to wear a hat all the time. But now even more I will have to until I can get it redone. This was costly and I feel as if I could have used my money wisely elsewhere. Very disappointed.. left unsatisfactory with ruined glasses. What was supposed to be a happy moment turned sour quickly.

After trying stylists and salons all around Atlanta, I can say Area 4 is the best place to go! Rachel is my girl. She invests so much time and effort into making sure my cut and color are perfect and she never cuts corners. If you have long, thick hair, she’s the best in the city! The salon itself is always clean and professional and pricing is reasonable.

This place is very personable and invested in your hair. The degree of hospitality they gave surprised me: its kind of hard to express the quality of the experience that took me by surprise. The closest way to describe my experience is to say that the place was operated at a level of professionalism and warmth that I didnt know existed in real life. Perhaps it was because I was a first time customer, but all of their other patrons seemed comfortable and pleased with their experience as well.Bailey was attentive in an approachable way that helped me explain my issues with my hair and get to a cut that I was satisfied with. Throughout the whole process she checked up with me frequently and gave me suggestions on how to give my hair more body and get it to be healthier again. She also took the time to walk me through the hair products they had on hand and also demonstrate how to use some of them.Usually getting a hair cut is a necessary evil, like getting teeth cleaned or going in for a medical checkup. Its something I go in for when absolutely necessary with the expectation of a very meh, neutral experience that really isnt worth writing home about. The cut I end up with would just be okay and Ill just be like, cool, dont need to stop by for another year.Here I was met instead with a passion and clear expertise in hair that completely threw me for a loop. I feel like I threw a dart blindfolded at Google Maps on Hair Salon Search and hit the jackpot. Im happy I can be a regular at a place that is this excellent and close by.

Just moved to Atlanta and researched a ton of hair salons in the area. This place had great reviews and I ended up booking with Charity. I am so glad I did because she was incredible! She was so sweet and really listened to the color and style I was envisioning. She asked a lot of questions about my hair routine and what products I use and gave me such great advice and tips! My hair has seriously never looked so good! I went to a blow dry bar the next week and even they were raving about how good the cut and color was! I am so happy to have found my new hair stylist!

I had the pleasure of having Charity pamper me. She was fun to talk to and she did an AMAZING job on my hair. Although it was a rough start for me to actually get to the salon itself.... I walked in completely stressed from a very long week and fighting traffic for an hour to get to Area 4 Salon....I was immediately starting to feeling better about going as soon as I walked into the salon. The atmosphere there is welcoming. Their product display is plentiful and you cant help but to want to look at everything. The color and decor of the salon just make you feel comfy and warm. Charity did a great job on talking to me about my options on fixing a previous highlight and color job I had done elsewhere. She gave me helpful tips on how to maintain the quality of my highlights and color and I just could not have been happier. This salon knows what they are doing and I will definitely recommend everyone I know to Area 4 Salon. Thank you Charity for your AWESOME service and I cant wait to go back.

This salon is amazing! They were able to accommodate me right away with no appointment and I had Rachel as my stylist. Even though it was my first time ever at this salon, Rachel treated me as If I had been a client of hers for years. She spent time educating me on MY hair and ways to care for it, and she didn’t push for any services or products. I highly recommend this salon and will definitely be going back!

Found this place on a whim a year ago and will not be going to another salon... unless I move out of Georgia! Incredible service, staff, knowledge, and price. My hair always succeeds expectations! Charity was my stylist. She did an amazing job shaping up my hair and coloring the abused strands. I went from frizzy to sleek in one visit. She listened to what I wanted and also gave me some styling tips. She made the experience a pleasant one and I felt welcomed in to the salonThe prices are great considering the area. I have been going to Charity for almost a year now and she is by far the best stylist / colorist I have ever been to. I consistently have appointments every few weeks and my hair has never looked better. I always receive compliments on how healthy and great my hair looks. Charity always takes time to listen to my concerns and questions, and always has fun and useful suggestions for me. Even better, the prices of all services are extremely reasonable and all the products sold at the salon are very natural and cruelty free. Everyone in reception is always friendly and polite, and the atmosphere of Area4 salon is comfortable, welcoming, and chic. I can not recommend this salon or Charity enough!

I have now seen Rachel twice for a hair cut. She is AMAZING! She spent so much time talking to me about what I wanted. She also taught me how to style my hair in a more flattering way. I appreciate her kind touch and would enthusiastically recommend her to anyone! I hear she also does great with color, although I dont color my hair. She is the best!

I have found my new stylist in Robbie. I am super picky about my hair and she did amazing color and cut for me. I’m very impressed, and that is hard to do! She is so sweet and gracious; I can’t imagine ever going anywhere else again.

I went into this salon a few days ago to get my layers fixed Since I was unhappy with my previous stylist. I saw some good reviews & called the salon. I was referred to Lisa saying she was level 4.Unfortunately once I left the salon and saw my hair closely I was not happy. The teqnique she used to cut into my hair completely changed my texture and my thick full hair feels stringy and thin. When she styled my hair curly, the ends were all bone straight and so the style didn’t look nice. I love Lisa as a person, great conversation, great person, but I have to be honest that I took steps backwards letting her cut into my hair.I feel a lot of salons that are in nice areas, and have stylists that are on a higher level false advertise. I do not feel these stylist get continuous education and it shows in their work. I will not be coming back to the salon & but I do adore Lisa and hope she continues with her education because I do not believe her techniques are up to par & I expected more from a level 4 stylist.☹️

I love Area 4 salon. I’ve been coming for about 3 years and highly recommend Jessica and Charity as stylists. Not only does this salon do a great job with hair, they also care about the environment and make sure that everything from the color bottles to the hair on the floor are recycled! Also, they use davines color and hair products which makes me feel good that my hair isn’t being treated with nasty chemicals. All good things!

I accidentally rated them a 1 without realizing and honestly feel so bad. Area 4 hair salon is definitely worth 5 starts. It has a very welcoming environment,and all of the hair stylists listen to what you say and genuinely strive to give you the hair you want. I’ve come here twice after another salon botched my hair, and have walked out twice with hair even better than before it was botched. I love them! I always leave feeling great, not only because my hair looks good, but because of the great experience each time.

Excellent service, experienced staff and lovely atmosphere. Their team knows exactly what you want. My daughter and I have been going together for 9 years. We wouldnt think of going anywhere else!

The staff are all extremely friendly and make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. The stylists discuss what you want, and while they make great suggestions, they always do what you want. Having been a client since they opened, Ive seen them maintain quality, relationship-oriented customer service. The facilities are always clean and comfortable.

I went to Area 4 this morning without an appt. because of a really bad haircut I had received elsewhere. They were so wonderful about getting me worked in. Jessica did my hair, she is so talented, she took what someone else had totally screwed up, suggested the best way to fix it, and totally rocked it. I now have a cut that is cute, easy to style, and done beautifully.

Moved back to Atlanta and went to the salon I had always gone to before. Unfortunately got a terrible haircut (stylist used thinning shears so, so, so much!). After it grew out a bit was referred to Robbi who is absolutely awesome!Beyond washing my hair every couple of days and letting it air dry I dont do anything to my hair. I leave all of the decisions to Robbi and she has consistently given me cuts that get compliments. Whether or not youre looking for a stylist you should come by and give them a try!

I got my hair done by William today and I have never been happier! The salon is beautiful and welcoming as going to a new salon can always be nervewracking but I was right at home here. After a few bad experiences elsewhere in Atlanta, I came to Area4 looking to fix me. William gave me the best color treatment Ive ever gotten! Thank you Area4! You now have a client for life!
