What a scam, I continue to get bills months later over $2000 from them. They are not truthful about what things will cost with your insurance. Additionally the 5 star reviews are fake. Receptionist gives $10 Starbucks gift cards to do 5 star reviews in front of her. Plus their office is extremely dirty.

I have had health struggles for years and almost all doctors I have encountered treats you like another number.Dr. Chacko and his team were fantastic and when I forgot to ask a question and I left a message in the portal, he called me back personally to walk me through my question. I cannot say enough good things and it was refreshing in a world with so many bad doctors.

I had an appointment on the 21st and it was a very bad first impression. I didn’t even get in to see the doctor. So my appointment was at 8:15am, of course I get there around 8:05 to do paperwork. Nobody was there, in fact the door was locked. I called their number and spoke with a receptionist who wasn’t even in the office, and he said he’d try to contact them. So at 8:18 someone finally arrived to open the door, and doesn’t speak.... THEN myself and another woman with an appointment walk in. Nobody acknowledged us. Nobody was at the reception desk, the monitors weren’t even on. So I sat there about 5 minutes and left.Like when it comes to my health professionalism is a standard, and if I’m respecting their time I expect the same. And when I left, no one ever called back. Im like if the nurses aren’t here, I KNOW I won’t see the physician until 9am. Very disappointing.

From initial poke tests to a battery of allergy shots, the entire process has been smooth, understandable, and convenient. Staff are polite and kind, and safety policy enforced. Some day soon I hope to live in breathable peace with my four cats. Who I am apparently very allergic to. Which explains a lot of things.

I had an okay experience with Dr. Chacko. I felt like he was really knowledgeable, but did not take the time to listen to me. I turned out to be allergic to nothing and was told my hives were probably anxiety (something I do not experience nearly as often as my hives). I was just disappointed that conclusions were made so quickly without me really being able to express what was going on.

This guy is a total dimwit and a waste of time. Why all the good reviews? Its because his offices offer gift cards in exchange for good reviews.This office didnt bother to do Allergy testing and because of that my daughter suffered horrific type 3 allergic reactions and inflammation until we finally got her to a competent allergist up north who quickly figured out what was going on. Absolutely disturbing the lack of good medical care in Georgia.

Dr. Chackos staff is amazing. From the medical assistant to Dr. Chacko himself. The nurse assigned to me was incredible helpful at explaining the procedures.Dr. Chacko speaks a little bit fast so for a non-native English speaker might be a little bit complicated to understand. However, I asked him to explain in detailed and he was happy to repeat himself.I start my allergy shots in 3 weeks. Super excited to take this treatment under this amazing team!

My experience wasnt great. The staff was friendly and so was the nurse practitioner who spoke with me. However, I had booked an appointment with DR Chacko but he spoke to me for a few secs, gave me his card and handed my case over to the nurse. Im not sure why that happened. He told me he would talk about my allergies after the test.

This clinic is a complete scam.They have been in battles with my insurance company for months because they are charging for visits that I did not have and charging twice for the 1 visit that I had with this doctor. The insurance settled my claim with them a year ago and all of the sudden they are re-charging.They dont know how to keep accurate records of their visits and a year and a half after my appointment they are still billing for things that I even have receipts for.When I came for my appointment they asked me to come back in a week to get my diagnosis and I had to fight with them to get my results over the phone rather than coming in and paying for another visit.Save yourself the hassle and dont trust going here.

I am very unhappy with my experience with this office. The doctor was only with me for about 5 minutes of my 2 hour long appointment. After my appointment I was told the total cost by the receptionist was $600 and had to put a credit card on file and set up a payment plan. I was told that was the complete amount and that my insurance would not be covering any of it. Now two months later I receive a bill for over $1400, saying I paid $600 of that amount and my insurance is covering around $500. This leaves me with an additional balance of $263.94. I was not told about this amount when verifying the total charges at the end of my appointment. Today I then received a text message telling me I will automatically be charged this amount to my credit card without my authorization.“Chacko Allergy Automated Messaging System: Hi (patient name). This is a courtesy text from Chacko Allergy to make you aware that you have a balance of $263.94 with us. We do have your credit card on file. We will plan to run the credit card with the current balance. If this is okay, please text Yes. If this is not, please contact our billing department to help address the issue. If we do not hear a response, we will plan to process your remaining balance on 03/02/2020. If your account is more than 60 days overdue, please be sure to contact us ([email protected]) to help resolve as we may then turn the account over to a collections agency. If you have “It is left off seemingly in the middle of a sentence and with no phone number to contact the billing department. I also received this on a Friday(2/28) after the office is closed for the weekend, leaving me no option to to contact anyone but the given email before I am automatically charged.I am paying all of this money to have barely seen the doctor, and get all negative rest results for things that I have clear allergic reactions to and have test positive for before. I would NOT recommend this office. They seem to care more about advertising this doctors publicity (see their website giving no contact information and mostly advertising the doctor on a magazine) than about their patients.

Dr. Chacko and staff is the best! Always accommodating and kind!

I underwent an aspirin desensitization technique and it went very smoothly. They started me on a 1/4 of a baby aspirin at 9am and every hour the dosage was increased. By 3:30 we were done and I was able to tolerate an adult aspirin. They check your breathing every couple hours. Everyone was very attentive to insure there were no adverse reactions. Bring a good book, lunch, and a water bottle. Hopefully this technique will have a positive impact in the long run on my sinus and asthma issues.

Dr, Chacko was very knowledgeable about my sons symptoms. His staff was very helpful and welcoming.

Absolutely great experience from my first visit for sinuses with Dr. Jackson to meeting with Dr. Chacko re allergy testing option w/ shots to follow. Both were informative and answered all of my questions. Dr. Chacko seems to take time to make sure patients are well informed and have no complaints once treatment has begun. Nursing staff and front desk couldnt be more pleasant and the gals that give the shots always make sure to ask how Im feeling with shots, make sure no side effects, etc. in and our of office in 35 minutes from time I check in, get shots, with timer (30 min), and leave. No complaints.

My two year old son has done several food challenges (all on different days) with Dr. Chacko for peanuts, egg and dairy. The staff has been wonderful walking us through everything and taking it step by step to make sure he was clear to ingest each food. Now he’s able to have dairy and eggs and we are slowly introducing peanuts at home which is a huge relief.

Dr. Chacko is great. Allergy shots have made a huge difference in my life. I love the outdoors, but without shots I cant breathe when Im outside during high pollen days! My allergies impact me 9 or more months a year, so shots are critical to my quality of life.Dr. Cs nurses and staff are awesome. Everyone is helpful and caring.

My son Asher just recently became a patient of Dr. Chacko and we couldnt be more pleased. He spent a great amount of time with us on our first visit and we left feeling very informed. He prescribed shots and already we can tell a difference in his overall health. They are very thorough and his staff is always friendly and helpful. THE CHALLENGE, A wonderful experience!! Great doctor and staff!! Have not had shellfish in 40 years!! I was apprehensive but felt relaxed in the steps taken to see if I was allergic to iodine. Basically three steps to the challenge , first eat 1/2 of shrimp wait 15 min then one whole shrimp wait 1/2 hour THEN ten shrimp wait one hour. Yeah!!! I passed the challenge.

My 2 year old daughter has a peanut allergy. We came to see Dr. Chacko because he offers OIT and we wanted to give it a try. She’s had a great experience so far. Dr. Chacko and staff are knowledgeable, friendly and competent.

Our 4 yr old has just built up to eating a single peanut. Looking back, we had some hesitations at first. We were unsure about the program and hesitant for our little girl to start eating peanuts. But now I can say we are so glad we did! Amanda has been amazing and has been along side of us the entire time. She told us in the beginning that we could call and text her whenever and she wasn’t kidding. We ran into a couple small issues along the way with friends giving her peanuts and we didn’t hesitate to call Amanda. She always answered and solved the issue every time. We also live out of town and they have made scheduling just as simple. The entire team has made this process so easy on us and my wife and I would recommend this to anyone considering OIT.

I am a new patient of Dr Chacko and have had an extremely smooth experience. I am suffering from hives and was able to to be seen at my earliest convenience. I received allergy testing in the office and Dr Chacko thoroughly explained my results. After my visit I have had multiple hive episodes, all questions and concerns that I have expressed via email have been promptly responded to with genuine concern. My wife and I have been avoiding giving our 5 year old any type of nuts because we were told in the past that our daughter had a nut allergy. After meeting with Dr. Chacko we are now realizing that the Doctors that diagnosed in the past were incorrect. She had her first Peanut Challenge today and everything went great. My 5 year old can now enjoy many of the foods/snacks we were avoiding in the past. Dr. Chacko and the staff were great!

I have been going to Dr. Chako for about a year and am seeing great results. This is usually the time of year I get very sick and use an inhaler constantly. I have only had to use it once this year! Also everyone (especially the nurses) in his office goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and give you the best of service!

Big thanks to Dr. Chacko! I thought I was allergic to shellfish so I went in, got pricked, and tested negative. I got some blood work done that also came back negative so I ended up doing a “challenge”. I got some some shrimp and lobster and ate it in the office, under supervision of course. I wasn’t worried about my own safety after the great service I received in prior visits. After two hours and no reaction they sent me on my way, it turns out I just had some bad meat. Can’t speak highly enough about the experience.

Im a Nurse Practitioner and I can be kind of picky about who I see for my medical care. Dr. Chacko and his staff have been great every step of the way and I love them! I wanted to start allergy shots again and having not done well with them in the past I was nervous about doing them again. Dr. Chacko and his staff are great! Knowledgeable, friendly, and responsive to questions and concerns. One of My 15 month old twin toddler sees him for her peanut allergy. She started Oral immunological therapy around 11 months old and she has been doing great. Initially, I didn’t think it would be easy to get an appointment with Dr. Chacko because he’s so well known in his field and He probably has a lot of patients. I was expecting to be on the waitlist to start peanut therapy with my toddler, but It was easy to get an appointment and to see him weekly for the peanut therapy. It’s a far drive from where we live to see him, but worth it. My toddler is doing great with therapy. I highly recommend anyone with peanut allergies to see him. Sadly, we are moving to California and will have to establish another Allergist and will miss him and his staff greatly!

When my son Shu’ayb (we call him Shubie) was a baby, had a blood test that determined that he had a HIGH allergy to peanuts. Since then, he avoided peanuts and anything made in a factory with peanuts. Shubie was taught from a young age not to eat peanuts and to ask if cookies or candy had peanuts in it before eating it. At times, this has been limiting and frustrating for Shubie.Shubie is now 7 years old and we came to see Dr. Chacko for a trial of Oral Immune Therapy. We were relieved to find that the blood and skin tests Dr. Chacko performed showed his peanut allergy was not very reactive. Shubie did not need to do the Oral Immune Therapy. He would be able try the food challenge.We had the peanut food challenge today. Shubie was nervous about eating peanuts because I taught him that it would make him sick. After some encouraging words from Vicky Torres, NP, Shubie was ready to start. Vicky gave him a peanut powder mixture that he drank with no problem. After a few minutes of no reaction, she gave Shubie one peanut M&M. Still no reaction. Shubie progressed gradually to eight peanut M&Ms and had NO REACTION! Vicky gave Shubie two teaspoons of peanut butter and he is still good to go.Shubie’s food challenge is a success! He is free from his peanut allergy! Shubie and I are ecstatic and relieved. I am so grateful for the professionalism, patience and friendliness of Dr. Chacko, Vicky Torres, NP and all of the staff at Chacko Allergy for helping us through this important and stressful process.

My 3 yr old son came into the office for a peanut challenge. He had never had peanuts, but the skin test showed he had a peanut allergy. After eating peanut m&ms and peanut butter crackers he showed no signs of an allergy. He did eat eggs as an infant and broke out with hives on his face. He had an egg challenge at age 3 and had no reaction to the eggs. If Dr. Chacko recommends a food challenge, give it a try. I was nervous as to what reaction my son might have, however without the food challenges, we never would have known our son was no longer allergic to eggs and was apparently never allergic to peanuts.

My daughter has been going to Dr. Chacko for two years now and we love him. He has helped her to with food allergies and seasonal allergies. she is now able to eat eggs in baked goods. Her whole life has changed as well as our entire family. Thank you so much and now the whole family is going to him for numerous allergy issues. I wouldnt trust my family to any other doctor. He truly improved the quality of our life.

Dr. Chacko recommended chronic hives and it was an absolute game changer for me. It worked nearly right away and have been taking it for 5 years.

We have mixed feelings about this practice. The doctor was nice, but his staff needs to be better about returning calls. Our children are allergic to nuts and pets. Our previous doctor whom we had to leave due to a change of residence (moved from Colorado) measured each testing spot so we could track the severity of the allergen in each child. This doctor only looked at the testing spot and that was it. They also had a blood test done and I had to call multiple times to get the results. They are very bad about calling you back. We recently wanted to get a pet and had questions about the testing. Amanda still has not return out calls after multiple messages. We are considering finding another practice.
