I had such a pleasant visit at Apple Valley dental today. Love the fact that they are open on weekends. It makes it very convenient for those who work everyday through the week. They have such a lovely, clean facility. The staff are very kind and greeted me with a smile when I first walked in. Neha did a great job on my cleaning and making sure I was as comfortable as possible while also walking me through each step of what she was doing. Definitely recommend.

My experience with Apple Valley Dental Care and Dr. Bakken has been excellent from the beginning! Im new to the area with few contacts so I was on my own with finding a dental care provider I could trust!I started on my insurance providers website looking for local offices. I stumbled across Dr. Bakkens relatively quickly as his office is conveniently located just around the block in downtown Apple Valley! I was quickly greeted by a wonderful staff who was happy to book me an appointment in the following weeks (with COVID many offices are back-logged for months so this was a pleasant surprise)! I provided all the information they requested and everything was set.Walking in the door everything was very well explained and documented. They offered an array of services accompanied with a proper explanation that I could choose to accept/decline with no pressure. Everything went smooth from beginning to end and the staff was delightful to work with!I returned a few weeks later for a small follow-up filling and the experience was equally as pleasant!If I must provide a negative it would be that the wait for Dr. Bakken to become available on my 2nd visit was longer than normal. This was explained by the fact that they are actively working towards getting a 2nd doctor in the office to help off-set some of the workload on Dr. Bakken. In my opinion, completely acceptable, as its a great sign of an in-demand doctor with a wonderful practice!After receiving my EOB from my insurance provider I noticed a discrepency in the financials. I was charged too much for the services provided. I made a simple phone call and the office staff quickly pulled the records and agreed with my findings (they had just received the insurnace paperwork that day as well, otherwise it wouldve been corrected without my prompting). Again, a proper explanation revealed the reason for this and within minutes I was offered either a check in the mail, or a balance on my account.Overall, I am absolutely thrilled with this office so far and look forward to moving forward with Dr. Bakken and his team in the years to come!

Recently I have been into the office with some minor issues and was thankful they were willing to see me quickly. Dr. Bakken and his staff have done fillings, a crown, and regular cleanings for me. Going to the dentist is sometimes stressful but I think they do everything they can to help their patients get the best treatment possible or refer them to someone else if needed. I have to say I have dental insurance and feel that my portion of my dental expenses have been reasonable in relation to the amount of work Ive had done.

First off: it’s been a LONG TIME since i saw a dentist. i had a bad experience when i lived in WI and i’ve been uneasy ever since. i went for my first checkup in 12ish years and i was really impressed. my hygienist stacee (sorry if i spelled that wrong) walked me through every step of the exam and cleaning, and was slow and gentle when i started getting even the slightest bit anxious. back in my hometown i would leave a dentist in tears with bleeding gums, but not today! my confidence in dentists has been restored thanks to the great treatment i received. thank you for your patience, and for not judging my non-existent flossing.

Service is excellent, always easy to schedule appointments, and everyone is very helpful. During last visit I was recommended to receive oral cancer screening. Process was very easy and painless only taking a few minutes to be tested. Very happy with cancer screening and all other services received at the dental clinic.

They know their patients by name (and face) and remember each persons own personal story from one appointment to the next, even though 6 months may elapse between them. Each of these have been completed in a single appointment as needed. The crowns are the best fitting ones that I have ever gotten due to the state of the art equipment he has and his skill. Overall, the best total dental care we have ever had. We are extremely pleased with the personnel and care.

He gave me beautiful upper dentures over a year ago and lower partial, this last Tuesday had teeth cleaning and today a root panel and crown, awesome work. The front desk staff was very welcoming and conversed with me while I was waiting. Ashley did an excellent job cleaning my teeth and keeping me informed of problem areas and solutions. I have always had very sensitive gums and this was the first place that acknowledged that and did their best to work around it. I was in recently to Apple Valley Dental Care for my 2nd time for a cleaning and some x-rays. Lauren was my hygienist and she not only made me feel comfortable but, was very friendly as well. When it was time for the dentist to come in, I had Dr. Geo. Right away he came in smiling and there was something about his fun personality that put me at ease. Having slight anxiety when it comes to any kind of doctors visit, this made a huge impact! At the end of my visit Gina at the front desk was very helpful in giving me varying payment options, since I did not carry dental insurance. She made it very easy for me.
