I just had a crown replaced by Dr. Proeschel. The entire process was very smooth. The office staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They clearly care about and value their clients, which is a rare find these days.I would highly recommend Apple Valley Family Dentistry. Our entire family has been going there for years. I just had a cleaning dont today and my mouth feels AMAZING! I have been having issues with impacted wisdom teeth, a few cavities and etc. I had my root scaling and planing done here as well as all my cleanings. Im new to Minnesota for 3 years now and Apple Valley Family Dentistry is definitely my home now. The staff is really friendly. I can view them as family. This place was awesome! I scheduled my appointment online and was greeted with a warm welcome when I walked in. I was seated for about 3-5mins before someone called out for me and took me to one of the rooms. All of my questions were answered and I got specific answers about what my insurance does/does not cover. I bought a new Oral B electric tooth rush(so worth it). Overall great experience will be coming back in 6months!

The office staff are always welcoming and accommodating especially when trying to make appointments for busy schedules. The dental hygienists are all knowledgeable and super nice when doing the cleanings and working with you. The dentists are all great too! They also do a great job of explaining what they see and what the next steps are if you need any additional work. They also make sure that you are comfortable when you’re in the chair. Going to the dentist isn’t what some people would call fun, but I honestly don’t mind going because everyone is so friendly and you can tell they care about your health. The staff is incredibly sweet with my kids and I appreciate that they remember the little things about all 3 of us... favorite toothpaste flavor etc. The best thing, however, is that when an acute dental issue arose right before the holidays, the entire staff moved mountains to get me taken care of so I would not be in pain. Great Dentist! Just went there today, May 14. First trip since this pandemic began for an emergency procedure. They are taking it very seriously and I felt very safe going there. You wait outside the office until it is time for your appointment, they then take your temperature and have you rinse your mouth prior to working on you with an anti microbial rinse. They are wearing full protective equipment the entire time. Our family has been seeing Dr Proeschel for 17 years now and has had nothing but positive experiences.

Two words I would use to describe Apple Valley Family Dentistry are professional and excellent. I had the BEST experience ever. The staff were friendly and the office space was clean. The chair patients recline in has a massage option. The dental hygienist was super nice - she asked what channel I wanted to watch while she cleaned my teeth - while I was getting a massage in the chair. I actually look forward to going to the dentist now! 5 stars all the way.

My son loves going to the dentist, because they make it so fun! At his first visit when he was 3, Kristy the hygienist showed him all of her tools and let him play with them so he wouldn’t be scared. We just had his second visit and he was so proud to show her that he had been brushing. The waiting room has a great corner of age appropriate toys and books for little ones to use while they are waiting for their appointment. I was actually really nervous about the prospect of a five year old receiving fillings but Dr. Proeschel and his entire staff made my daughter and I feel so comfortable from start to finish. The procedure took no more than thirty minutes and after leaving you would never have even known that she had fillings. This team is amazing and I cannot say enough good things about them.

I was reffered to this dentist by someone who has had excellent service from them for years I was told. From the moment I was greeted when I walked in to after having some teeth work done. I felt like a valued customer that had been here for years myself. This was my first visit to this dentist and I was very impressed by the work they performed. The professionalism and care I was given was above and beyond what I have had before. The detail they gave me to help treat my condition was great. I have treated at this office several times, with both Dr. Proeschel and Dr. Baron. Both have always been very pleasant, and they take the time to explain what they will be doing, and what they are doing during the procedures. I have never had any problems with their work product. Their staff of assistants and receptionists are also very kind and cordial. They always engage me in friendly conversation about anything and everything. Its like visiting with friends or neighbors. A very positive experience every time.

Dr. Baron is great, she is effective and efficient. My wife and I both enjoy having her as our dentist. Of course, the bulk of your experience with a dentist is actually with the hygienist. Donna is a great hygienist and she is so personable as she remembers details about your life and asks questions about your children. Donna makes the somewhat miserable experience of going to the dentist much more enjoyable. The office staff is great and are always willing to help.

Outstanding.This was my first visit to the dentist is some time and lets be honest I was a bit wary of going. Lets just say I was concerned with how many cavities I thought I might have to how brutal the cleaning would be.From the very beginning of my appointment they put me at ease. My exam was great because I like to ask questions and they answered every single one. At the end of the exam I found out my mouth was in better shape than I had feared which made me feel even better about this place.Then I had my cleaning, where she went out of her way, or so I think, to make me feel comfortable. They can use this ultrasound cleaner instrument which is pretty awesome. I got that and it certainly helped the process of getting tough to reach plaque. By the way she was spectacular. She knows what she is doing and she is good at it. She Plus, she even numbed my gums, which made the process so much better.In the end the service was great but the people were amazing. There were no guilt trips, no pressure to do something now, and genuine concern for me and what I hope to get out of the appointment.Even if my insurance didnt cover a dime I would not hesitate to remain here. Worth every penny. If you havent guess by now, they have me for the long haul.Fabulous experience!

Ive been to the office twice. Both times I was greeted by the staff and I did not have to wait for my appointment. On the second visit, six months after the first, I received a reminder one week before the appointment which is nice as other dentist offices have only provided reminders the day before.

Im currently looking at small claims court to take these guys there. I asked them that I wanted to use the flex dollars to pay for a crown that the doctor said would be nice to replace. I just wanted to use my flex dollars and I told the office that. They came back after 3 months and told me that I owe them $140 when I specifically said I dont want to pay anything out of my pocket and I wanted my flex dollars to be used. After talking to the secretary for 2 secs and she didnt even indulge in any kind of discussion. She hung up and sent my acct straight to collection. WOW!!!Dont deal with these jokers!
