I heard an abscessed tooth and the pain was intense. My experience at the office was great from start to finish. Great dentists, assistants and other staff, and I left having had the exact care that I needed.

I have visited the A2 office a few times now. The service from the front desk the service has been A1 five star. They make you feel welcome and that they appreciate that you have come to them. The doctors and technicians in the exam rooms are very professional but not so much that it is a stiff interaction. They are very warm and welcoming. Should I have the need of another root canal I will look no further than here. Thank you so much for making a nervous patient feel comfortable and welcome.

Went in for an emergency root canal after a crown wasn’t providing relief. Staff very friendly and made me feel at ease. Least painful numbing shots I have ever experienced; I even asked if they’d done them yet! Dr. Bok explained things beautifully and answered all my questions. I need to go back to finish up and I will make sure to wear layers because it was rather chilly in the procedure room.

Popular culture and hard-gained wisdom all suggest root canals are one of the more painful things one can experience. Having been through my 1st one at Root Canal Specialists, I have to differ. My toothache was horrible, but the root canal procedure was relatively pain free. Ive experienced worse pain getting a cavity fixed. Plus they take the time to answer questions, and explain the procedure. You get a clear picture of the before & after. Nothing felt rushed, an overall great pain-relief experience.

My 9 year old had to get a root canal. I am very pleased with the staff and how supportive everyone was. The dentist was very thorough and informative. Surprisingly he literally experienced no pain afterwards. I thought maybe I would have to give him some Motrin. I’m speechless! I highly recommend. In and out and great with kids.

Went here for root canal retreatment. Dr. Vodopyanov, was super thorough and the procedure went super smooth. I had no pain what so ever and All back to normal within an hour..They did an initial 3D scan, which I though was useful money spent.. piece of mind.. No guesswork..The gentle wave treatment was smooth as well. He recommended that to deep clean the canals.. which was just $75 bucks more.. highly recommended.Will not go anywhere else..The staff was super friendly and billing was straightforward, I don’t what other reviewers had issues with..

My first contact with Root Canal Specialty due to a referral by my dentist was over the phone with Erica. From the get go my impression was good as Erica was friendly, efficient and very helpful in answering my questions. I then had a consultation with Dr. Edlund. I walked into the office and was greeted by Sarahs friendly smile. The entire front office employees were wonderful and efficient. The assistants in the back were also all very nice and kind. The consultation with Dr. Edlund was great. Im fearful of any dental procedures and despite the fact that my visit was just for a consultation I was just as apprehensive. But entered Dr Edlund whose nice and friendly chair side manner calmed my fears. He listens, explains everything well. Most important he is sincere in his honesty and knowledge. I have no qualms about going back to this office and in particular to Dr. Edlund who is knowledgeable, friendly, sincerely compassionate and expresses diagnosis honestly. Dr. Edlund and staff were excellent in that they were (all of them) friendly compassionate, and professional. The office was easy to find and was meticulously clean. I Highly recommend this office for their services.

Very professional, took time to answer all questions, and did what they said they were going to do. In my case, the tooth with a prior (20 year old) root canal couldnt be saved, but they were upfront with probabilities of success. We tried to save the tooth, it just didnt work out. If I need endodontic work in future, I would return.

We were referred here from our dentist as my 16-year-old son’s dental X-ray showed resorption of one of his teeth. The staff and dental professionals here were very knowledgeable and friendly. Dr. Edlund explained exactly what was happening with my son’s tooth, walking me through the results of the X-ray and cone beam scan. He didn’t charge my insurance for the consult, as my son didn’t need the root canal after all and instead referred us to an oral surgeon. Highly recommended.

They were able to do the job without pain once the sedative took effect. The doctor listened when I told him I was very difficult to get numb, and he worked hard to make sure I didnt feel pain.

Dr. Vodopyanov is great at what he does, walked me through the entire procedure and explained everything I needed to know, while keeping me comfortable. The staff also was wonderful and helped with everything I needed. I recommend this place to all my friends.

Long story short, I ignored a tooth for WAY too long and the the had begun to die. I was miserable with constant pain that kept me up all night. Root Canal Specialty Associates got me in within 2 days to accommodate MY work schedule and went above and beyond to put up with my woes from my tooth. A day later and I feel fantastic! Couldnt be any more appteciative!!

From the very first time I called to inquire about the service until my root canal treatment is complete, I was treated well and everyone is professional, sincere, and understanding. Dr. Vodopyanov took care of my problem and the pain was gone after my first visit. I cant thank enough. My experience is pleasant and great beyond expectation.

As other reviewers have stated, this place does a phenomenal job at maintaining a clean Covid environment as well as making sure your procedure is comfortable and as painless as possible. I had the pleasure of meeting Lindsey and Dr Racek, who were excellent, from beginning to end. I had a retreat done, I was in and out in less than 50mins. Right after I went to Whole Foods down the street, drive 40mins home to unpacked groceries, immediately after, went to gym- did 45 min fasted cardio session. No food and no meds! Once back home, took protein shake THEN had 4 Advil (800mg), numbness was wearing off-reality was setting in😃. Still wasn’t bad at all. I wished I’d known about them a long time ago, I’m sure I wouldn’t have needed a retreat!

The doctor is highly competent and perhaps as importantly is very compassionate.

Listen Ill be the first to tell you. Root canals are not pleasant. More like uncomfortable at first but theyre not as terrible as people make it sound. Once you get numb, you wont even notice anything! The people here are super pleasant, and told me every single step they were doing and why. I highly recommend the doctor here. Plus as a bonus, they let you listen to your music as long as you have your own headphones. Once I was able to do that I was totally fine and able to relax. 5 stars all around

From the first phone contact, to my in-person experiences in the Ann Arbor office, Root Canal Speciality Associates proved to be a caring, warm, and experienced group of individuals. They make certain you understand the process and go over any questions you might have. I am a nervous dental patient, and they did everything possible to try and decrease my anxiety level.

Ended up not needing the procedure. The fact that they didnt just do it gives me confidence that they are a honest operation that I can trust.

While I wouldnt necessarily be first in line to sign up for another root canal, this is the place to go if you find yourself in need of one. The entire office was friendly and professional. Dr. Vodopyanov explained everything as they went along and the entire procedure was as close to comfortable and pain-free as a root canal can be. I also appreciated that they provided an overview of the billing beforehand--luckily RCSA is in my Dental PPO network so root canals are covered 100%. There are some additional potential costs, depending on what they find once the procedure has started, but I didnt need these and so only paid my co-pay of $50 (the root canal place my dentist had referred me to would have charged close to $500 because it was only covered at 60%...good thing I shopped around!).

I was in sooooooo much pain. I was in a state of losing my mind. My usual dentist office i attend semi-annual for cleanings, x-rays and referrals was closed, i got desperate and went to dentist office that i looked up online and i went there and when he got finished with me, he tried to convince me that i would feel better later, but that didnt happen, there was no change when the numbness wore off. He did do a root canal because i wouldnt allow him to. So once again, i am at home in intense pain and my usual dentist office called me to follow up from a message that i left them on wed, when they were closed, and they apologized to me for leaving me stranded with no reliable specialist to help me and thats when she referred me to the Root Canal Specialist in ann arbor. They saved my life and my tooth. Now i am recovering and my pain is lessening each day since the procedure was performed.
