My 5 and 8 year old daughter actually like to go to the dentist! I will admit picking out a toy at the end has been helpful but this place is a great experience for kids all around!My hygienist Kelli is very gentle, personable and professional; a shinning example of how great this office is at hiring and retaining amazing staff.Yes you heard me right; my kids look forward to going to the dentist!

I was assured that the extra services they recommended were covered under my insurance but they were not and I was charged over 300 dollars. It took over 6 months to figure out the details of the bill. I was also charged an 80 dollar missed appt fee when I cancelled due to a sore throat during COVID. Very disappointed!!

Great dentist, the place is so nice and quiet, and my favorite part is how quick and efficient they are. I’ve never been in the waiting room here for more than 10 minutes. Just yesterday I called because I was having horrible tooth pain. They got me an appointment only 2 hours from when I called, and when I got in they took X-rays, cleaned my tooth, prescribed me antibiotics, and I was out in less than an hour. When I got to my CVS, my prescription had already been sent over and was ready. When having tooth pain like I was having, the time efficiency is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Dr. Bart Hall!

Great dentists but the support staff leave much to be desired. We booked an appointment 5 weeks ago and found out the day of the appointment that it was either cancelled or not booked properly. The woman on the phone just kept being rude and saying, That doctor doesnt do that type of appointment. Which is fine, except calling to tell us the appointment was cancelled would have been helpful or not scheduling it at all. Why on earth would they schedule it and then just delete it and not inform the patient? Instead, I spent 5 weeks anticipating this appointment and was left in pain with an offer of a prescription while I wait another 5 weeks. You have to be on top of the billing because there are regular mistakes. I have sent my youngest sons insurance information in 4 times and hopefully now this time they have billed it, but I wont be surprised if I get another bill.One of the front office people doesnt wear a mask. When I refused to approach her she pulled one up over her mouth but not her nose. Then she was repeatedly asking me what number tooth they worked on, and when I asked her how I would possibly know that she said it was my tooth. Well yes, it was. But learning how dentists number the tooth is generally not a pre-requisite for dental care. Finally another woman looked it up and called it over to her.The dentists are great and make you comfortable and do a good job. But its constant problems with the front desk. I have half my treatment plan done, and am just going to look somewhere else. This is very disappointing, but its not the first time Ive made an appointment and they moved it or cancelled without bothering to tell me. My husband took the day off work and I got childcare to watch my special needs kids. Its not easy for me to plan an appointment and I need my time respected as much as theirs if I were to cancel on the same day. Despite being in the middle of my plan, and actually in pain, it just makes sense to move on. And given I have a daughter with medical needs, an office staff who takes the virus seriously is important to me as well

Dr. Hall & Hall, are very kind , caring and knowledgeable.My treatment was thoroughly explained, and I was very comfortable during treatment. The receptionist, worked with me to schedule appointments around my schedule. I was given a treatment estimate before my treatment, my copays were explained and easy to understand. The receptionist helped me navigate Care Credit application and offered additional finance options as well. I appreciate the level of communication the office provides to confirm appointments, update forms and keep me safe with Covid precautions. I asked for text regarding appointments etc, and have requested statements by email as well to forward to my health savings plan for reimbursement. The staff goes above and beyond!

Well they used to be good but since they lost some staff. I done care fore treatment. They say one price and charge u more not desirable place anymore. Update. It takes forever to get through checkout.

Progressive dental is amazing. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The moment we walk in the door we are greeted with warm faces. The assistant’s that worked with the Dr. kept me in the loop every step of the way at my Sons visit. He is terrified of needles but, Dr. Bart Hall numbed him and he said that he didn’t even feel it! He saw the hygienist Kelli as well. He feels so comfortable with her, and wants to see her every time. Great job Progressive Dental, two thumbs up from a 12 year old boy!

The absolute BEST dentist Ive ever had. Ive had a lot of my older dental work redone from 20+yrs ago here; crowns, fillings, ...Dr. Hall does amazing work and knows how to fix a tooth that other dentists wouldnt touch- the work was originally completed at the school of dentistry and had a ledge just below the gum line that Ive been keeping healthy all of these years. He recommended to redo and fix the tooth. As he was repairing it, he reevaluated the structure of the tooth... he changed the care plan so it wouldnt shatter and I would keep my tooth. He has tremendous experience and knowledge. I never feel anything at all when Im getting work done. He is also conscience about numbing and only doing what is necessary- so he makes sure your whole cheek and tongue are not numb if they do not need to be so you dont walk out drooling. And the cherry on top is that he is really funny and very nice. Always checking to make sure that I was ok (which I always am). I really appreciate this office and am so glad that I found them.The staff are also always happy, friendly and helpful. I recommend this office to all of my friends and family all the time. This is the office you want to go to.

Both Dr. Bart and Meredith Hall are the only dentists my children know and love them..I cant imagine a dentist and dental practice that could be better than progressive!!

The Progressive Dental Team are professional, highly skilled, helpful, friendly, empathic, good listeners and best of all ~ painless. Patients are greeted as you come into the office, you’re offered something to drink while you wait, the medical staff is extremely informative regarding all their procedures, their equipment is state-of-the-art and their office is calming, clean and nicely furnished. Sean helped me today by fitting my mouth-guard securely. He was professional, informative, gentle and thorough. He was terrific!

Great service! Im a new pt (second visit) and really despise dental visits. But this place has been amazing! They make me feel totally at ease, the office staff has been very friendly each time I call and visit, and the techs are so nice and professional. Dr. Bart Hall explains everything he is doing, is funny and has so helpful in making me feel at ease. I have practically ZERO pain from this place, and they are so good at making me feel comfortable when I do. Highly recommend!

I have had good service from this office, today not so good. I brought my retainers in to be cleaned. From my understanding there is a machine that retainers are put in to be cleaned. Today, however the assistant, said she used some solution and brushed them. I could have cleaned them better at home. When I asked for them to be cleaned over she told me that it will take 20 minutes. Fortunately, it did not take that long. I still dont believe they were put into the ultrasonic machine but they cleaned well enough.After I left, I received a phone call Alicia apologizing for my not being happy. Love that!! She the initiative because she saw what happened. Thanks so much!

I really enjoy myself every time I come to this dentist office. They are very nice, they always give you free water, coffee, or apples. They explain everything from start to finish very detailed. Any questions you have they will answer all the doctors are just great.

Best overall experience Ive ever had at a dentist office. It was clean with a very short wait time. The entire staff was welcoming and accommodating offering something to drink and toys for the kids not to mention a complete care bag with instructions to go home with. The staff checked on me to make sure I was doing ok and happy with my results. I was very pleased with not just Toria but the entire Progressive staff. Well worth the 1.5 hour drive for my whitening. THE best dental office in Ann Arbor. I took my 7 year-old son there to have a cavity filled. Afterwards, as we were walking to the car, he said I love going to the dentist. No joke. The dentists, hygienists and staff are all fantastic.

Wonderful staff who go the extra mile to make your procedures as painless and pleasant as possible. The Halls are fabulous dentists who create beautiful crowns and bridges. Hygenists do a great job. Excellent help with a tooth that needed a root canal. Gave me an emergency appointment every quickly.

Very competent staff and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Willing to take the time to chat about procedures and calm your nerves. An array of comfort drugs are available.

Great dentist. I am happy to get my cleanings done here. They are always friendly and dont give me too hard a time about not flossing well. They take the free U-M dental insurance and there is no fee for regular visits.

This is my go to dentist. They’re accommodating and experienced. During my last visit, Brittany and the front staff were extremely nice and made everything much easier.

They do a good job telling you what’s needed and why. They also clearly care about their patients. I would certainly recommend.

I was nervous about trying a new dentist office but the hygienist was very professional and thorough. I loved how she explained problem areas and showed pictures from the X-ray. The male Dentist was also very thorough and professional. I received about five fillings and there was no pain! Definitely will be going back and would recommend to friends.

I just completed my Invisalign Express treatment with Dr. Barton Hall and had great results and a fantastic experience! He was thorough with my initial evaluation and with explaining my options and his recommendations. I was also very well attended to during my check-ups during the three-month treatment process. The added bonus is that Dr. Bart is quite a hoot!

Always listen help do things right the first time and friendly. Reasonable charges for their professional work also. Love this place and its people.

I just had a crown done and I was nervous if there would be pain. I am happy to say that the injection did not hurt, nor was there any pain during the procedure. I was pleasantly relaxed as I listened to Christmas music. Next day I have absolutely no pain or soreness. Dr. Bart Hall is funny and puts me at ease.

I just had another wonderful experience with the caring staff at Progressive Dental. I highly recommend them.

The staff was very friendly, they explained everything in detail, also answered as many questions that I have asked. After procedure I didnt remember nothing and it was no pain before or after the procedure besides a little discomfort where the teeth was pulled. Try even gave me a take home bag with food and other goodies for my teeth.

An old crown fell off while I was eating my lunch at work. I called PDA immediately and I was able to come in that same afternoon at 3:30 pm to get it re-cemented. Excellent treatment received from Sean and Dr Bart!

I have been a patient at Progressive Dental for 19 years and have always thought they were wonderful. They do a great job with my teeth, are accommodating to change appointments, are professional & understanding, and work well with my insurance company. My children and husband enjoy them also. Ive even referred co-workers to them. So, good dental care quality and streamlining the insurance process is a big help for me.I wanted you to know, though, the most impressive was my last experience. My old gold inlay fell out of my very back, upper tooth. Progressive was able to have my dentist see me the day I called. The tooth was prepared for a crown. I left with a temporary crown and an appointment for the permanent crown for after a holiday weekend. Then, the day before a holiday weekend, I broke the temporary crown. That hurt! Again, Progressive Dental got me in quickly - and luckily the permanent crown arrived the night before my temporary replacement appointment. Progressive installed the permanent crown without pain. Thats a big deal for me. This was the above-and-beyond expectations which is worth commenting about. Im happy with that tooth again. And very happy with Progressive Dental.

Today I have a crown work done. Britnie did a excellent job helping Dr Hall. Britnie know her job and antisapates the doctor every move. Making for a smooth and enjoyable experience.Dr Hall has hands that have this touch that I cant even explain. Her touch is so kind and thoughtful with every hand movement in your mouth. Bad experience , I will never go to this facility again..I cancelled my membership in march , till date they are charging my credit card. Every month I have to call them and ask for not to charge on my credit card.

Thank you for going over the plan in detail and explaining the status every visit.As always it all starts at the reception. Always welcomed with the smile, called by my name (crazy how they know all of their pt. names). You feel the individualized care from the second you step into the clinic, such a wonderful staff at the front desk. Then, when your called back it’s like walking to a heaven on earth with your best friend, a walk that last 30 second or less that starts and ends with laughter, which is another kind of a Friendly start.The hygienist goes above and beyond explaining the session, providing the right dose of needed education, stops and lesson to you, and a healing touch. Then, it ends with the physician (Dr. H) who is down to earth, friendly, lessons, explains, and keep you involved. He doesn’t leave unless all your questions are answered. Great guy.Now it’s time to go home, and when I check out at the front desks who continue to only talk to you with respect, attention, and smile. I book my appointments with them at the end of the day because if my work so I’m always the last person and you would think they would be tired and ready to go home. But that is not the case, I think because they are such a great team they feel like they are at home and they make you as a patient feel like your at home. It’s hard to believe such experience at a dentist office. We all know why. Progressive Dental is wonderful. I am a new patient with the practice but have been very impressed with the staff and doctors. They are warm, friendly and caring. The office is comfortable and everyone made me feel at ease.After my cleaning and checkup I was asked about whether I had any difficulty in sleeping and getting a restful nights sleep. Thats when I learned that Progress Dental also helps with sleep apnea studies. The have a device that you wear like a watch while you sleep and it monitors your sleep patterns for signs of sleep apnea.Well, long and short of it, I discovered I have obstructive sleep apena. Dr. Hall fitted me for a sleep appliance and now I sleep much better at night. I feel more rested in the morning, dont get tired during the day and find I am more productive at work, not to mention I feel like I have more energy all day.Thanks Progress Dental!!!!
