Stella is my favorite hygienist Ive ever had. She just tells you stories and treats you like part of the family. I adore her.

I have been going to comfort dental since I was a kid and all the doctors and staff are amazing! I recently went in for Invisalign and Dr.Safanah has been amazing to work with. She strives for perfection and gives special attention to all of her cases. I am super happy with my results and I am thankful to have someone like Dr.Safanah working on my case! I would like to mention Cyndi as well, as she was also super nice to work with! I appreciate everyone at comfort dental and would highly recommend this place!

Our hygienist at Comfort Smiles is amazing (Tiffany). She is really good with kids. Weve been seeing her for years, and there has been multiple occasions where I have shared appointments with a child, and Tiffany has managed to clean my teeth and partially help supervise my (curious, busy) kid at the same time (!!!). Today was the first appointment for my youngest, who is almost 3 and scared of having anything put in her mouth (including food). After 10 minutes of coaxing by myself and the dentist, Tiffany managed to trick her into accepting fluoride on her teeth - she was so fast, my toddler didnt seem to even realize what was happening until it was done. It was seriously impressive.

The service was fine but the prices were astronomical. I have no insurance but Ive been coming here and prior procedures were affordable.However my last quote for an extraction, bone graft and implant was definitely topped by Dental House in Ann Arbor.

I visited Comfort Smiles for the first day today, and was impressed overall. The receptionists I phoned yesterday were very prompt and knowledgeable – Kelly and Christine.I met with Cyndi and Dr. Rizk today, and both were fantastic, and I particularly appreciated the brutal honesty of Dr. Rizk in her evaluation of my teeth, not minding whether or not she gets a new patient. I recommend them based on this first day experience, even before I have cleaning or any procedure done.

I haven’t been to the dentist for awhile and was looking for someone to go to. Was told to go to Comfort Smiles by a friend. Let me tell you this place was nothing but excellent. The staff members were nothing but respectful and friendly. The office was very clean and Dr. Safanah was very knowledgeable. Chelsie the dental assistant also had me blown away by how knowledgeable she was of everything. She helped calm my nerves and make the doctor experience much better. The whole experience was amazing and I would highly recommend family and friends to Comfort Smiles of Ann Arbor.

I am normally very afraid of the dentist. Dr. Rizk and Cyndi did such an amazing job of keeping me calm and comfortable. They both did a great job explaining procedures and options for my situation which helped me to stay calm during the procedure. I strongly recommend comfort smiles for anyone! I can not say enough good things about Comfort Smiles for their pediatric care. Visits to our previous dentist had been traumatic for my five year old with special needs. The team at Comfort charmed her and gave her the time she needed to get comfortable, it was the first time she left the dentist happy and not screaming at the top of her lungs. I was recommend to go there by another doctor. And really glad I was because I had the best experience there. The staff not alone was friendly but the dental assistant Chelsie was wonderful. She made me feel comfortable while I waited for Dr. Safanah to come into the room. Not only was the doctor friendly but knew what was going on and helped me understand better. Tiffany is my Dental Hygienist and I highly recommend her. She is very nice, professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. I have never had a long wait with her. I have been going to her for years and she has always been very punctual. Everyone else in the office are very nice and efficient. Its a great office and I highly recommend them.

Dr. Safanah and Cyndi did an exceptional job with my teeth and made the process less overwhelming. I got crowns for my two front teeth done by them after trauma to them and my crowns look better than my teeth before, you would never be able to tell. They made sure everything was healed and didnt rush the process and truly cared about the best outcome for me.

If there were a 10 star option I would pick it!! Dr. Nguyen and Chelsie made me feel so comfortable. Not to mention I walked out with a Hollywood smile 😁. I suggest everyone go see them.

The dental hygienist Nadia was honestly the greatest experience I’ve ever had. She was very thorough with the cleaning, and very comforting. Let me just start by saying I’ve been a patient at this office for about 3 years. I’ve seen dentists come and go—but by far, the best treatment I’ve ever received in my life has been provided by Dr. Safanah. I’ve had braces for 2.5 years, and I needed four crowns on my front teeth to finish everything up. Dr. Safanah not only went above and beyond to take off my braces when she absolutely did not have to (because she’s not an orthodontist) but she also put time and energy into giving me the perfect crowns. She’s worked on my case thoroughly and made sure that all my dental work will be completed in a timely manner, because I’m moving out of the state in a few weeks. Everything was on a very strict schedule for my move, and Dr. Safanah prioritized this because she understands the imperative life situation I’m dealing with right now. I have never felt more seen, heard and taken care of by a dentist until I met Dr. Safanah, and I could never thank her enough for putting in so much work to get my dental work completed AND give me a perfect smile at the same time. If I could fly home every time I need to visit the dentist just to see her, I absolutely would. I’d also like to give compliments to Sandy, the office manager, for consistently meeting my needs and helping me in ways I cannot even fathom. A lot of these people in the office know me by name and make me feel extremely comfortable to be at the dentist, of all places. Lastly, I’d like to compliment Cyndi, for handling my big personality like a pro the first time she met me. I can be a little intense, but Cyndi met me with compassion and understanding regardless. Cyndi was also very informative about the dental work I was having done and told me step-by-step what was happening in my mouth, which is rare. All of these women have changed my life and I can never thank them enough for going above and beyond for me, in addition to dealing with my crazy life. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!

Recently I needed dentist and and went to Comfort Smiles. I have been there twice and each time have had an excellent experience. Dr. Rizk and Dr. Savanah were personable and very thorough. Chelsie was the dental assistant and Tiffany was the hygienist, both were also excellent and made the visits positive and enjoyable. Insurance was also explained well.

Im a regular customer/patient, and just recently got a few fillings with Dr. Nguyen and Cyndi. As always, everyone was friendly, professional, and efficient - highly recommend!

Comfort Smiles is everything anyone could ever want in a Dental Care Facility! ALL of the staff is outstanding, over the years Ive probably been cared for by every hygienist and they are all wonderful. Most recently, Becky cleaned my teeth, she was very professional, kind, and especially mindful of my comfort at all stages of the appointment. I had full x-rays, exam and she used the water pressure cleaning instrument that I really like. The fluoride treatment at the end ensures that my teeth are strong and protected. I always feel like Im so well taken care of there, and you will too! Thanks again everyone for all you do for all of your patients!

The only reason Im given a 2 star is this was only my second visit and I was waiting 40 minutes then went up and asked about my appointment to only be taken to a room to wait another 15 minutes then had to ask again about being seen. I was using my lunch hour for this appointment, I work in the medical field so I get it but if the Dr is running behind they need to update the PT. But when you see three others come in after you and go back before you,you wondering whats going on. So we will see how things go hope to give a better review next time.

Best dentist office I’ve been to. Not only was everyone very professional and knowledgeable, but the office was really cool and modern. During normal circumstances, I saw they have coffee/tea/water for people in the lobby and they give free toothbrushes, floss, and travel sized toothpaste (for when things get better). I’m really satisfied with the service and my insurance covered everything as a new patient.

Jenn is the greatest hygienist! Happy to have her as mine for several years so far.

I have been a patient at Comfort Smiles for 13 years. I have always had a good experience while in the office. Jenny has been my hygienist and its always a pleasure to be in her chair. I hate getting my teeth cleaned, but Jenny is always able to keep me comfortable and my teeth always feel amazing when she is done. Jenny treats me like family and I really appreciate that!! If I have to return for work with the doctor I am always pleased to see Sara working with the doctor. Treatment appointments always run smoothly with Sara assisting. I have had the opportunity to meet both doctors, Dr. Rizk and Dr. Nguyen and both of them are very experienced and their chair side manner is amazing. Thanks to the front desk staff I never have to question what my insurance will cover and what my out of pocket cost is going to be. Being able to plan paying for treatment is always important and I love how Comfort Smiles always goes the extra mile to make sure there will be no surprises at the end of my appointment. I am visiting this dental office for four years now because I founded being very professional, with friendly staff and I feel very comfortable coming here. I was sad when my dentist left, but now Im seeing Dr. Nugyen, couple times already, and I can say Im very happy with him and his assistant Cyndi. They take time to answer every question I have, suggest what work I should consider doing in future, without feeling any sense of urgency or rush, every procedure I have had him do so far was painless and well done.

I was a new patient in this office on 9/23/20 and had an amazing experience! My hygienist, Stella, was so friendly and thorough. She explained everything she was doing and cleaned my teeth very well. The dentist, Dr. Nguyen, came in right after my cleaning so I didn’t have to wait at all. The office staff was super friendly and office was really nice and clean. Overall, I’m very happy with the office and staff and I’m glad to call this my new dental office!!

Exceptional service, friendly and classy environment, highly experienced staff.I had a dental emergency, called 5 minutes before they opened at 0655, they picked up immediately and got me in at 0730.Doctor Nguyen took one look and immediately knew the problem. Unable to fix it for me on such short notice, staff began calling around other dental surgeons they knew and trusted, got me an appointment close by for 0930.The most painful experience of my life was ended the same morning I called and I couldnt be more grateful for their exceptional service. I have been seeing Dr Rizk for the last 4 years for all my dental care. She is a wonderful dentist. I truly appreciate her attention to detail. One thing i like about her, is how she remembers the small things and makes sure to incorporate them into her appointment when needed. I can admit I am a very particular patient. She always goes above and beyond for me. i have had jaw issues my whole entire life. Dr Rizk and her assistants always make sure to have ready for me the little block to rest my jaw on while they work on my teeth, so that my TMJ doesnt flare up. I am writing this review to share what a wonderful experience I have had at this office. I have been a patient here for the last 3 years. The front desk has always been very helpful especially sandy--who has consistently helped me with insurance and billing questions.I have seen Dr Campbell and now Dr Rizk. In my 64 years of life, I have had many doctors. Dr Rizk has been the best dentist I have ever been to. Her temperament and bedside manner is one that puts you at ease. She is a painless dentist! She has pulled 2 teeth out for me and completed a root canal. Both times...i didnt have to take any pain medication after. Both were impeccable experiences! (who could say that about a root canal?) She knew i was apprehensive about dental work but always made me feel comfortable and explained every step of the procedure.Heres what sold me: The day after my procedure was done, i got a phone call. To my surprise, it was THE DOCTOR CALLING TO CHECK UP ON ME...not the nurse, not the front desk, not the assistant--the DOCTOR! I have never had a doctor that genuinely cared about their patients in this manner.I highly recommend this practice. I have sent my entire family to her and her staff. Great job comfort smiles!

I actually havent been treated here, but leaving a review based on the great customer service I received just trying to set up an appointment and verifying if my insurance was covered by them. Really great staff, especially Sandi! She went out of her way to help sort out the coverage of my insurance. Unfortunately, its outside my network, but I think I will change my coverage and go here for my next dental appointment!

Love my new dentist office!

They do not use PPE outside of disposable surgical masks. When asked about the use of further PPE such as N95 masks and disposable gowns they dated that it was not mandatory unless a patient was Covid positive. It is not clear to me how this protects the clients who are in a chair having their teeth worked on. We also had difficulty with insurance as a provider was not listed as working at this organization.

The dentists at Comfort Smiles of Ann Arbor are the best. They took the time to explain the treatment I needed and to make sure I understood my options. I highly recommend this office to everyone.

Stop baking patients out in your back room sauna. When its time for xrays and a checkup, especially after its been a while because of covid...dont say no dentist is available and we’ll do xrays next time. Are you guys serious? Get real. Dont make me come in just for a cleaning and waste my time, thats not why anyone goes to the dentist. And tell Becky im still picking fluoride off my lips and paste out of my hair. Extremely dissatisfied.

Update: DO NOT GO HERE. Had to change from 5 to 1 star. They are completely incompetent. They seem very nice but have no idea what they are doing. They care more about getting the job done than the well being of the patient. WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN.

I have been a patient of Dr Hanan Rizk for the last 5 years. I followed her from her last practice to her office in Ann Arbor almost 2 years ago. In fact, I saw one dentist in between and decided to make the 1 hour commute each time because she is totally worth it! Her professionalism and bedside manner is always wonderful. Her cheerful and positive spirit puts one at ease. I feel like i am catching up with an old friend every time i see her. Whether it is for just a cleaning, a cavity, or an extraction she is very good about explaining exactly what to expect (which helps calm my nerves!), her meticulous attention to detail and thoroughness is always comforting too. She completed my invisalign treatment a few years ago- i get compliments about my smile all the time...which surely has been a boost of confidence for me! She has changed my life and doesnt even realize what an impact my invisalign treatment has made for me! I have referred many friends and family to her. I plan to have my daughter get a consultation for invisalign with her too! Highly recommend this office.It is clean. Staff is always very nice and pleasant. Front desk is always willing to help with any billing questions i have too.

I saw Dr. Rizk and Cindy one week ago for an emergency appointment. I was putting off a tooth extraction for 3 years now. My face finally swelled up and the pain was uncontrollable. I called and they got me in right away.I know that I was a nervous mess but the way that both these ladies took care of me was truly unremarkable. They are a dynamic duo!I did not feel the shot that dr. Rizk gave me (for starters). She was so quick and painless. I couldn’t believe how quick the whole thing was! 5 minutes and the tooth was out! It wasn’t until They had me bite down on some cotton and put the chair back up, before I asked “are we already done?” She pulled my tooth out and I didn’t even notice or feel a thing!!I am sold and a patient of Dr Rizks/comfort smiles for life! I’m not sure how she does it but she was amazing! So sweet and lovely to talk to as well! Highly recommend. I’ll be back to get myself and my teeth back on track!

By far the best dental experience I ever expected to receive. The location is clean and open. They have a great protocol in place for Covid. Dr. Minh Nguyen made room for me when I had broken a tooth. They were quick to get a temporary crown placed and ensured I felt no pain during the process. I am terrified of needles and have pretty bad anxiety with procedures, but Dr Minh and his staff ensured that they addressed my concerns with no hesitation. I felt no pain when they numbed my mouth and the procedure itself was not very long. If you are considering Comfort Smiles and any one on staff I assure you, you won’t be disappointed.

I’ve been with this group for more than 18 years and the office is clean and well organized. The hygienists and dentists are professional and friendly. Their hours and large staff provide a lot of scheduling flexibility and it is never an issue to get an appointment scheduled when needed. All that said, the most remarkable thing is that in addition to providing great care, the appointments *always* run on schedule. I can’t say that about many health care providers.

Dr Campbell provides the best experience that one could hope for, when facing the generally displeasing realities of needing dental work. He is an honest and genuine person, who really cares about his patients comfort (mentally and physically). I had to get two long overdue crowns. They were able to get me in quickly for some complaints I had from previous dental work elsewhere. The hygienists were awesome and thorough and the dentist double checked a tender area and found a hairline crack in a tooth! Grateful for her attention to detail and time she spent with me.

Review for Dr. Minh Nguyen. If you have Sleep Apnea and currently use a CPAP machine or want to fix loud snoring this review is for you. I received a mouth guard from Comfort Smiles that fixed my sleep apnea and snoring! This thing will save my life.I had a sleep study done and found out that I had severe sleep apnea which would cause me to stop breathing hundreds of times throughout the night. Often waking me up and my poor wife had to wear ear plugs every night because of my snoring. I was prescribed a CPAP machine to fix my sleep apnea, but I had a difficult time falling asleep with a hose attached to my face. I had to use the highest air pressure setting to open my airways. I toss and turn a lot so it would fall off my face and wake me up. I am the type that once I am awake it can take me hours and most times I just stay up.I went to see Dr. Minh Nguyen at Comfort Smiles after having a conversation with him about my sleep apnea. I know its weird getting a sleep apnea solution from a dentist, but I am so happy I gave it a shot. He told me about a mouth guard that they have that can move my lower jaw forward slightly to allow my airways to always stay open. I was a little skeptical that something so simple like this would work for me. I even had surgery for my deviated septum a few years ago, because another doctor recommended it to open up my airways so that the CPAP machine could work better for me, but it didnt.I went into Comfort Smiles and was very impressed with all the high tech equipment they had. They scanned my mouth with a mouth probe and was able to get a perfect layout of my teeth. It was painless with no nasty tasting imprinting paste like what I was used to in the past. I came back when the mouth guard came in to make sure it fit well and got instruction on how to use it and clean it. I have been wearing an Oura ring during sleep to track how much I actually sleep at night. Prior to using the mouth guard I could see that I would wake up 5-6 times a night and since I have been using this mouth guard I dont wake up at all and my wife doesnt need to wear earplugs as I no longer snore. I dont know how I have never heard of this before, but Thanks Dr. Minh Nguyen for introducing me to this life changing technology!
