I meant to write this review a while ago. With that being said everyone needs to see Sophie to get their hair done! You will regret not giving her a chance. I had a horrible hair experience at a different salon. I went to her in hopes of making my hair look presentable. She went above and beyond that! I was impressed not only with how well my hair came out but just how amazing she is. Her salon is cute and perfect and I felt confident leaving the appointment. Do yourself a favor and go see her and support a local business!!

This was the first new hairdresser I tried since moving to Ann Arbor and I’m so disappointed. I looked at reviews, booked ahead, provided notes, showed pictures and she talked me out of what I want led and instead of a balayage gave me simple highlights and low lights. Tools were mediocre, product mediocre, chair was awful. Sophie is a scam artist. Oh, and my cut and color was $300. Shame on you.

I have been getting my haircut with her since I moved to Ann Arbor 4 years ago and havent thought about switching once. She does an excellent job. Shes very receptive to feedback and at this point, I dont tell her what I even want and she gives a consistently great mens cut. Shes also extremely accommodating when it comes to my busy schedule. Shes very personable as well.

I went in there for to see if the lady could change my hair back to being a brunette because I bleached it and colored it with purple from Sallys beauty and the lady did not give me estimate how it would cost I tell after she was Connie yet and removing it and everything and then she got chemicals in my eye on my left side twice and then charged me $180 when she cut more my hair off than it looked before I left I understand you have to cut off a little bit cuz of the den ends and split ends but I was not highly satisfied and I do not recommend this to anyone of this lady and she can tell I was not happy when I left

Sophie is constantly providing top notch service at the last minute to both my fiance and myself. Regardless of my crazy schedule, Sophie always manages to fit me in without making me feel like a burden or charging me outrageously for the trouble. Sophie has been cutting my hair for a couple years now. Shes an amazing hairstylist, and an even better friend. If you wont take my word for it, just go meet her. Shell impress you before she even picks up her scissors!Most important is how you really can let her do what she wants without explaining what kind of hair you want. I dont think many people are skilled enough to do what she does effortlessly.

I have long curly hair and have a hard time finding someone who knows how to cut it right. Sophie did a great job, giving me a nice cut and shape. She was very detailed and looked over things multiple times before calling the cut complete. I also got a relaxing shampoo and head massage! Lies about whats in her products, lies about the results youll get from her service, ruined my hair, still charged me!!! Im outraged and so disappointed in going to go home and cry in my pillow! My sisters wedding is tomorrow and my hair is fried, a total different color than I asked for and this woman showed no remorse and offered to fix it and charge extra!! NOOOO I would NEVER let her touch my hair again and wouldnt even recommend this con artist to my worst enemy!Now I need to go pay more money and put more stress on my hair to have it fixed. Sophie has been doing my hair for a few years. I get the Brazilian blow out once a year and it lasts and lasts. My hair is shiny and easy to style. She is a master with the scissors. I always get compliments on my style. The salon is relaxing and inviting. Great experience!!

I saw Sophie for a lip and brow wax and it was fantastic! I loved the shape she did on my brows, it was quick and almost painless. My skin is very sensitive so usually I have ugly red marks for hours after, but my skin calmed down really quickly. Sophies professionalism yet friendly and funny personality made me feel very comfortable. I have found the perfect stylist for my sensitive redhead skin!

Asked her to fix it but she just texturized it instead and insisted it looked fine. Had to get second haircut try to fix the layers. Second hairstylist noted a chunk of hair missing from the back.

I got my eyebrows done here and i figured i would try it out with all the good reviews, to be honest my eyebrows dont look done at all their is still hair on my eyebrows and upper lip, there is no arc or shape i am very disappointed and it was around $42 with a tip. Not pleased at all wont be returning.

O.M.G. Sophie has totally changed my life. I know that sounds dramatic, but its true. I always wanted to go short but I was wayyyy too nervous to do it. I mentioned it to her and she suggested we take baby steps to get there. Well, after about 4 baby steps, I have short hair and I love it! Not only that, but each of the haircuts in between long and short were hella cool. Ive never been so stylish in my life. I get so excited to go see Sophie. HIGHLY recommend her.

In desperate need of a good stylist after butchered haircut and an awful color job from a salon in Mt Pleasant, is when I found Sophie. Sophie saved my hair. I went into her salon with an awful, unblended, one-tone balayage coloe and left with exactly what I wanted. Sophie is really nice and wasnt afraid to express how awful my hair had was when I walked in, but reassured me that the cut and color would be fixed before I left. Every step of the process Sophie was really knowledgeable and informed me why she would be doing things the way she were and this put me at ease.10/10 would recommend. It is a bit pricier, but ALL GOOD THINGS COME AT A COST.
