Nice campground right off of I-40. Nice staff. Close to downtown Amarillo and several points of interest. Limited amenities. Price was right.

We were traveling through headed to New Mexico. Great place to stay overnight. Is right on the highway, with some highway noise, but not terrible. Full hookups and some trees.Tom was very sweet and accommodating. I would recommend you staying here and we will return if going that direction again..

Not the fanciest RV park but they staff very nice. Lot of people living there full time. Bathrooms better then most campgrounds. I would use it again.

This was a great place to camp. The gentleman at the check-in was extremely friendly and helpful. The restrooms were exceptional.

We stayed 5 days while visiting Amarillo. The check in was easy and management very friendly and informative about the area.Park is quiet even though it is beside I -40.Frontage Road is currently under construction and you need to exit on the one after Hope Road. Still no problem getting into the park.Would stop again when in the area.

Great overnight stop. Gravel. Nice large grassy area to walk dogs - and everyone has cleaned up after their dogs. Grassy picnic area. Clean bathrooms! Easy check in with super nice staff.

Pros: Good price. Site included electric, water and sewage. RV friendly! Pets allowed in designated areas.Cons: Internet service was very slow. Only a few shaded areas.Overall good stay.

Pull through sites. Not Bad to get into off on side road parallel to interstate 40. We had A back site So was quite and peaceful. Gravel and dirt..

Great stop over RV park. Right off I-40 with full hook ups. $32.50 a night with Good Sams. Ask for a site at back of park. Away from interstate noise.

Owner Tom was super welcoming and helpful. Bathrooms and shower were super clean and air conditioned. Will definitely stay there again.

Im sure its a decent place but $35 for tent camping when on a 2 month Motorcycle trip was out of my Budget. Looked nice though.

We spent a week here, very clean and best WiFi we have ever had at an rv park. Only thing missing is a pool. A lot of people staying here for work that dont understand the unwritten rule about walking through other peoples sites. Would stay again.

Clean place. Owner doesnt seem to want to upgrade anything. Caretaker does a great job with what he has. Not my first choice in Amarillo. Their prices are the same as places with much better amenities.

The man at the front desk was very rude and impatient. There had been a snow storm and they still hadn’t cleared the sites over a day later. Also not only were the showers closed but so were the bathrooms. I found a very nice place 4 miles away for the same price.

Pretty basic park, right next to Rt. 40. We got stuck there for 5 nights by snowIf a normal visit, we might have appreciated it more. Never lost power even during bad storm, so that was a plus.

Tom who checked us in was so helpful and courteous. Explained all the features and let us know if there was any problem he was available anytime. Gave us a great recommendation for a nice steak dinner at Saltgrass.

We showed up after the office had closed. Tom waited up for us and was so courteous and kind. We pulled right into our spot and set up after a long 13 hour drive. Nice, clean campground.

Stayed here for two nights in the middle of May 2019. We stayed here to explore Amarillo and to reduce our drive time to Albuquerque from our previous site. Worked perfect. It is directly off I-40, but you could not hear any road noise. Easy access to the attractions and easy access leaving. Staff were nice when reserving. We arrived when the office was not open, but they had called to let us know and had a map ready for us. Our site was a full-hookup pull-through. It was not long enough to have both the truck and trailer, so we had to unhook, but we would have anyway to explore. The spots aren’t too close together. There is room for the trailer and the truck to the side. Very quiet park. Most people here seem to be permanent residents. Overall, great for what we needed and we would stay here again.

This was an awesome stop for the night. Great prices, very clean, the showers and bathroom were as nice or nicer than any motel we have ever been to. Laundry was so clean. Rich is friendly and helpful. 5 stars +++++++

I’ve been here for about a week visiting. And this is a very nice RV park, the facilities are nice and clean. The yard is well laid out, and so far it has been very quiet. The yard is close to capacity, but it is clean and we don’t feel like sardines. In the future, I definitely wouldn’t mind coming back.

Typical KOA. However, sign was gone because of tornado. So we got lost.

We had a quick stopover at Route 66 RV ranch for the night. We’re so glad we chose them. They were kind enough to let us check in at 12:30am (got stuck in Dallas traffic). The bathrooms were incredibly clean. We didn’t use the showers, but I looked into them and they were definitely spotless. Thanks Route 66 RV ranch for helping our vacation run smoothly.

$36 with tax . The bathhouse closed due to covid. Laundry room still open. Just a minute off I40w convenient and big property.

We got in late, Tom was great! He was so nice, Check out is 12, but stay until your rested!. The bathrooms were very clean, my son said it was the best bathroom at a campsite EVER. I would recommend staying here to anyone. Thank you for such great hospitality.

We arrived very late and the manager, Tom, was nice enough to stay and check us in. No other RV park in the area even answered their phone after about 6 pm. If you just need a place to park and have water and electric for the night, Route 66 RV is great. We didnt use any of the facilities or restrooms. Tom was very nice and extremely helpful.

The campground is very well maintained, clean and quiet.

My daughter and I had a very nice stay. we were trying to use our tent, but it was very windy so we just slept in the car. Very nice bath house, very nice, helpful man at the counter. Nice place for our dogs to play. And a simple little playground for my daughter too, she loved the tree swing.

Convenient to West I40, Nice level spaces, easy hook-ups, good electric voltage, good WiFi, very reasonable rates, good check-out time. Its not a resort, but doesnt cost like one. Good experience for a good spot for us to spend the night

Plenty amount of room between coaches.Gravel sites were so level, our arms came down to stabilize for 4 slides to extend. Rhe owner was very nice and helpful. Our only downside was puppy area , non of the precious occupants did not clean up after dogs did their business and the small knuckle bird were all over the place. We would stay here again.

My wife and I stayed here on our way home to Michigan from Arizona. We were staying a couple of days to visit our niece and her family. The check in was great and staff very friendly. The restrooms and showers and restrooms were very clean and up to date. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Very clean and well kept property. Bathrooms were also very clean and had great lighting for putting on makeup. Host was helpful and willing to help in any way he could. I would recommend this rv park to everyone.

We were on the road to Oklahoma and found that Good Sams were filled in Albuquerque. We had a 3 night stay and loved it. very friendly office staff, maintenance man and people staying there. baths were very clean, and the grounds looked great. Would highly recommend this campground as it is close to shopping, hospital, and good restaurants. pet friendly too.

Stayed overnight but I am giving 5 stars because Tom was very nice and accommodating since we had to pull in late that evening. Clean bathrooms, spacous sights, and a park for kids. My dogs loved the open area to roam.

Tent campers : This is a tough one to review. On the positive, the bathrooms are fabulous. They are very clean, with privateshowers. However the grass tent camping is marginal, dog also use it for a bathroom. My biggest issue is the back half of the property appears to be used as a junk recycling center... at 8pm they were still driving around. Its not worth $24 bucks.Thank you for the update! When we pass through, we will explore staying again, and of course updating our post.

Amazing stop. Very wide pull thru sites. Large dog area, but not fenced in. Large clean new bathrooms. We arrived late and yet tom met us with a smile! Would give 5 stars but the air quality was awful. Not sure if there is a sewage site nearby or cattle farm, but that was our only complaint!

With my sincerest apologies, I recently wrote a negative review and left it here. Please disregard any negative feedback as my review was for a different RV park.To be clear, I have not had the pleasure of staying at Route 66 RV Ranch and apologize for the confusion.

We had a large grassy area right outside our door. If you have pets theyll love the room to run and jump and play. We may stop here again on the return trip.

Pitched a tent in the small grassy area. Much better price than KOA. Friendly people. Clean restrooms/showers. We stayed here two years ago and were just as happy.

OK. Nothing special. Primary focus is permanent residents. Office hours 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. No GPS coordinates listed. Nice website. No Good Sam or AAA discount.

The lady cleaning the bathroom was nicer than the lady in the front office with an attitude. Would recommend some better people skills to paying customers for the person that does face to face contact.

For the price $40 , it should have cable TV..seem like nice people....if there is a west wind go to a park east if Amarillo or plan on using AC. Cattle yards are on West side of town.

Worst place to stay. She doesnt care about it the place. She has the place for sale and inherited a bunch of money. Shes rude and vendictive. We rented for a month. I fell in the womens bathroom because the tiles is so poorly done and she changed the locks on the bathroom door so I couldnt get in anymore. When I confronted her she left an eviction notice on my door. Wont give insurance information and runs when you try to talk to her. Her maintenance is very trashy and unprofessional.

Check in was very good and I had my choice of spots to Park so that I had wind blockage on the west side and even after I got parked both of my neighbors offered me help getting things set up.

Decent park but not worth the $38/nt price, given that its basically a gravel lot with a better than average bathhouse. We recently stayed at a KOA near OK City for the same price, but it was almost resort-like in quality. (Also, large sign here advertises General Store which doesnt exist!)
