Did not feel welcoming. Received a text the day of arrival telling us not to check in before 3pm. Park was empty on arrival. Got a text on the day leaving saying we needed to be out by 11am. Tons of rules! Like no alcohol (yet 2 ladies were walking around the campground with beers in their hands. Never have had interactions with a KOA like this before. At Eufaula OK KOA today. They welcomed us when we arrived (early).

Okay for a quick over night stop. Staff in the office very friendly. Some work camper in a straw cowboy hat was not friendly. Pool is small but appeared clean. Sites are gravel, dusty, slim & not level. Bathhouse could be really nice with a deep cleaning once per week. There is mold growing on the walls & ceiling. Shower curtain was gross. Maybe use white and change out once per week and use bleach when washing them. Picnic tables worn and in need of repair or replace. There is a beautiful gift shop in the main office. Nicely done! Some smaller back in sites have some shade trees. The back pull through sites have no shade & catch the unbearable winds.

NOT GOOD FOR TENT CAMPERS!!! The campground location is at the end of a neighborhood, next to the airport, and next the freight rail train. The primitive tent sites are located along the camp entrance road, and stretch from the trash bins past the bathroom. Every RV or vehicle passes by so between, the lights, train horns and vehicle noises it’s tough to relax. The sites are close together and there is no shade, separation, or privacy. I have camped at 100’s of locations across the United States from dispersed, to resorts and this location IS NOT GOOD FOR TENTS. I’m easy going, I work remotely and I’m loving life. I was there for 5 hours and just hoping to get some sleep and a shower but it didn’t work out. I called and asked Renee, the General Manager, if she was open to feed back and she said yes. Shortly after, she hung up the phone on me and did not answer again, even though I wasn’t looking for a refund. The location seems OK for RV campers or Cabin Renters but definitely NOT GOOD FOR TENTS. The poor management response is disappointing for a KOA.

Dusty tinder box of a place, no fires, kinda why i do koa instead of hotel while on road. Nice office staff, room to roam for dogs, free shuttle to big Texan. It wont crack my top 10 steak houses in usa but they are trying, would eat again. Neighborhood questionable, between the sign 1mile away that said do not pick up hitchhikers in this area to the crackhead at my window w/in 20sec of pulling up at big Texan. Meanwhile every business i can see is hiring, but i digress, last issue, i had 30 to 40 flies in cabin when I opened the door. My neighbor did not have this issue just lucky i guess.

We stayed one night passing through. Staff was okay, not super friendly, but not mean. office looked clean, we did not use the facilities, but we did walk in and they looked clean. The pool was freezing and not clean. There were no bean bags at the corn hole toss. Not sure where you get them, the grounds were clean, but the sites are NOT level made of gravel, NO trees in the back pull through sites. Very little grass but mostly dirt and it was super windy. We were so close to the other RV our campers almost touched when they had their slide out and we had our awning out. They offer a shuttle to The Big Texan and text after you get there letting us know if we need anything to text that number or to get a ride to text that number. We did. No one ever came so we just unhooked and drove ourselves. Not the worst, but when we didn’t get picked up, we started walking to the front near the office, saw 2 KOA employees that were off and sitting by their camper because at this point the office was closed. Explained the situation and they really weren’t much help. Just told us to call the shuttle number. We didn’t know what that was so like I said, we just unhooked and drove. Not a warm fuzzy campground. It was clean but the dumpsters were overflowing and there was nowhere to put garbage. They did have a doggie area and playground. I would not choose to stay again. Just wasn’t quite what I was looking for. I like to be where I can cook outside and didn’t feel like we could even do that due to the closeness of the other camper. The sewer was not where our hose would reach so the guy who escorted us to our site said, “you’ll just have to pull up and dump in the morning once you unhook everything. The camper next to us had the same issues.

Arrived at 2am because we had a very long drive. Had a back in site. The site was narrow, and we could not see to backup. Highly suggest appropriate lighting for sites that are back in. We had to pull camper forward before leaving to be able to dump tanks. The sewer hole was under the camper. We could not have moved over to access it because of the steps and a picnic table. Other lots did not have this issue. The sewer holes were a foot away from the campers in the grass. Ours was barely on the edge of the grass. Also the sites do not seem to be the same width. Ours was very narrow with picnic tables on each side, but the lots on either side of us had more room. We did not access any of the facilities.

Hotter than heck. If you are looking to rent a cabin, please know there is an “AC” in the room but it does nothing to make it cooler than the outside. We stayed in early June. Both cabins we rented were literal saunas and caused us to drip sweat. It was cooler outside than it was inside. It was so hot we had to leave at 9:30 pm. We asked for a refund but the owners would not give us one, and instead blamed us for not calling their emergency line whilst our overheated toddler was screaming. We were told they could have fixed it if we called. I wonder if it was such an easy fix, why they don’t do this before guests arrive? Our cabin key was accidentally left in Cabin 4, so we know their AC worked. But Cabins 2 and 3 were miserably hot so steer clear of those. Will not be coming back here. Waste of money. Sad. We love every other KOA we have stayed in.

This campground had friendly, helpful staff and was very clean. The store is large with drinks and some snacks, and lots of souvenir items. In the back of the office is the lounge, which has a book exchange area and also a fountain soda machine and coffee station (not free, but a nice touch). The sites are really close together and the electric box, sewer, and water were all in the rear of the site. We were on an end site so one side of us basically touched our neighbor when we had one, but the other had a large, wel-kept grassy area. The pool was clean and we enjoyed it every day we were there. The campground fills up every day and by morning it’s half empty. Every morning I saw staff going site to site to mow/clean up and you don’t see that everywhere! We had to stay an extra night because of a family medical issue, and the staff were very accommodating which we appreciated.Airport nearby but we never heard any noise from it, and the campground is pretty close to the highway, but we didn’t really hear anything from it, either.Definitely recommend!

We only stayed a single night, and were only there for a few hours, but the staff was very welcoming and took the time to verify my site would accommodate my camper (we upgraded since we had booked). The campground looked fairly well kept, although pretty tight like most KOAs. The pool area was clean and had we stayed, would have definitely been used. Bathrooms were clean with private shower stalls. Like every camp shower though, pressure was on the low side and was difficult to adjust water temp, taking a while to get hot, then wanting to stay there. Located next to an airport, but it didnt look like it was very active. Very easy and quick to get to the tourist spots around Amarillo from the campground (even with the absurd way Texas handles roads).

This place was very nice and clean but the pool was completely covered in algae and the staff completely forgot to tell us until we actually got there. Other than the pool, there is no reason why this place would be considered a KOA and they failed to mention that. We paid $20 more to stay in a KOA and it was a shame that we couldn’t enjoy all the amenities. Other than that, the stay was pretty nice.

I wish I had read the reviews before making a reservation. We were looking forward to getting in the pool after the long drive from Colorado. The pool was green. Previous reviews mention the pool being green and so it has been that way for some time. People were given a $10 credit. I was even told about the pool at check in. The price of this KOA is higher than most so the credit would have been nice. The spots are big but narrow. The staff was just there. I didnot feel they liked their job.

We stayed 3 nights in a tent site. When we wanted to extend for 2 more nights, we were denied and were told there is a 3 night stay limit. We checked corporate policy and nowhere it says that there is a limit. I’m fact, you can book 6 consecutive nights online at the tent size. They also denied additional 2 nights of stay in cabin referring to same 3 night stay limit.half of cabins and 80% of tent sites were vacant. Our setup is 2012 FJ cruiser with a rooftop tent, so I can’t think of any reason why they denied our stay besides us being Asians.Btw, tent sites are on the outer edge adjustment to open field. The winds were 12-18MPH throughout day and night which makes it difficult to sleep. Also, there are busy train trucks where trains blow super loud horn multiple times as they pass.

Not much of an RV park. It is in a very industrial area and next to the Train Tracks. Still good enough for a midway point as the RV spots are level and do not require you to unhook.A couple items to note... There are fire ants, they really were not present in my site, but they are everywhere around the dog walking areas and open spaces. The winds are almost constant, be prepared to create wind barriers if you are doing any outdoor cooking and putting you awning out is not likely to happen.

KOA wasnt on our list of places to stay, but better than parking at a Walmart overnight. Friendly staff, clean bathrooms and the camp grounds are well kept and organized. Was happy to see they have 50amp power for our rig. Pricing is very fair although the camping spaces are a little narrow. While walking our fur babys, we noticed they also have a pool, a fenced off dog play area, very nice tent camping section and some cute cabins for rent too. This was a perfect place to have a stop over and shower up for our next days journey. Will use KOA again.

Traveler beware if you come in after hours. We didnt have any power, and tried calling the emergency number listed on the night check in. No answer and voice-mail was full. We ended up using the 110 to get through the night (it was 11pm by that time). In the morning when I mentioned the issue to them. I was told that it happened before, and mistakes happen. They asked if I had called the other number listed on the window, and I said no, we had found a way around it by that time. She said she was sorry, and hoped today was better. Very frustrating to hear that they were aware of the issue with the after hours number, but didnt do anything about it. When the gentleman came to look at the breaker he told us that the prongs on our cord were too short to connect (we have been using the same cord for the past 10 days with no issues). Never was able to get the wifi to work. I would recommend staying elsewhere.

NOT GOOD FOR TENT CAMPING!!!! Should have been a red flag when we checked in and the staff was short, not friendly but not mean. KoA has very little trees, dog park is small and has no shade, tent sites are located in the middle of everything so every RV or car that passes you can hear and their lights shine into your tent. They were very understanding about our situation. As it turned out the RV mfg. was out of business and the parts place had to find used parts for us. We were in the park from June 2 to June 18. The hosts were just SUPER and the staff were all very friendly and concerned about our RV. Small bench or swing up front, a table and a grill. Extra grills available, no fireplace. Best Cabins are 1 and 8, 1 closest to the office, laundry room, store, and bathrooms. 8 is closet to kids play area, bathrooms, and pool. We stayed here a few months ago. Not exactly located in the greatest area. We had a blowout as we pulled into the park and the camp manager seemed more concerned with us not blocking one of the two lanes as I tried to quickly change my tire and actually tried to force me go to my site and risking potentially damaging my rim by driving on it. Luckily the staff themselves were very helpful and joined me in ignoring the manager’s request. It had the bare minimum for it to be a campground, but it is a Journey after all.

Staff was friendly and wonderful. Perfect place to stop in the RV for the night, especially in the winter with animals! Restroom/Bathhouse facilities were clean and warm! Highly recommended.

The camp is clean but, OMG, there was a horrible smell coming from a nearby plant, I assume. We didn’t notice it until bedtime. It was so bad my eyes watered and ‘nose breathing’ was almost impossible. We will look for another park next time we come this way.

Great for what we needed. We are going to Colorado and farther and it was a 1 night layover for us.

Terrible RV park. All dirt lots. Trains honk their horns every 5 to 10 minutes 24 hours a day spots are way too close.

Do not stay here! There is no water and the staff are not of one accord. Was told my night would be refunded and then was not. Would not recommend staying here. I am a long time Rv owner and have never been to a park that is not prepared for winter and then blames it on the customer like it is my fault. I have never had a bad experience at any other KOA parks but this one needs help! When I reserved my spot days in advance I was told it was full hook ups and that includes water anywhere else! Stay away in the winter time!!!

Clean, open, level, gravel and dirt sites. We stayed on a pull thru site which are huge. Lots of large 5th wheels fit comfortably in them. Theyre renovating their deluxe sites during our visit late March 2021. They have a dog run and a playground. Theres a pool at the site which was nicely covered during covid. Only feedback would be another layer of gravel would be nice. The site we had as quite muddy. Overall it was just what we needed for a quick overnight stay.

Pull throughs are spaced well but backins are very tight.
