We only stayed one day, we were greeted immediately upon arrival outside check in by two super friendly Gentlemen whom after we checked in took us to our sight. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our site was great easy pull through, clean. All the amenities were clean. Loved how they offer a free Limo ride (limos had steer horns as hood ornaments) to Big Texan Steakhouse, which we would highly recommend it was such a fun environment not the mention the food was great we would definitely stay here again

Had a great time at this resort. The staff were very friendly. We got a free limo ride to the Texas Steak House. Any amazing thing in the indoor heated pool and jacuzzi. Sites are spacious and easy to access. I highly recommend this site.

Office people were very nice. Called to make sure we didn’t need after hours instructions. I thought that was awesome because I’ve been to a lot of RV parks and if you didn’t make it before the office closed, you couldn’t check in. I wish there was an after hours person to call, though. The people in 145 that stayed on 10/9, took over our picnic table, played loud music at 1:00 in the morning and had a little mini party with their guests. They were very loud, and apparently did not care about waking people up, or were truly that clueless. It was very irritating because we needed to get up early and had a long day of driving. It wasn’t the park’s fault, but there is no way to ensure park rules are enforced. While this park wasn’t for us, as we are used to parks more away from a busy city area, with less city noise, the office people were great. The park was very clean. The park employees were awesome. The guy that escorted us to our site was super helpful! Wonderful people. And if you want to go to the Big Texan Steak House, there is a free limo to take you.

Friendly, large RV park. Assisted with set up, friendly staff, clean, easy in and out. Pretty level gravel pads where i parked. Price was good too... free shuttle to the resturant...nice touch.

We stayed for a four day break between our traveling from CA to GA. We enjoyed the pool inside twice, playground, laundry, and more. Our site was long and had plenty of space for our 33 foot and truck. We would come here again! Thanks for a great visit.

My SO and I stopped in and stayed at a tent site for one night on our way to New Mexico. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and escorted us to our tent site. The limo service to the steakhouse was a great perk and allowed us to further enjoy our stay, driver was friendly and professional. The site was fine for a night stay, about what you would expect from a tent site in an RV park. The park is close to a highway, the noise did not bother us but travelers should expect some traffic noise and such. We took a dip in the pool before leaving, it was nice and hot tub was relaxing. Overall a good place to stop in, rest, and relax a little. Steakhouse was awesome in terms of food and atmosphere.

Highly recommend staying here. Super nice folks, and the escort to the campsite is awesome. Also dinner delivery to the site is fun. Nice amenities and great showers!!! You dont hear the highway traffic at the sites. Sites have trees and great dog park areas...there are 3! Need better wifi is the only complaint. Had a great stay, hope to see you again.

A place to stay. A convenient stop over while traveling with long, fairly level sites for one night stays. Very accommodating on moving days around. Easy access on and off highway.. WIFI was terrible.

The atmosphere was great. Friendly staff and excellent food. We had a 52 oz tomahawk ribeye steak dinner we split between the 2 of us. Would highly recommend

We were only there for a quick night. We had some rv issues we had to fix immediately. The staff was superb and the park and management was very organized. Joy was extremely helpful and the park is clean. We didnt get a chance to indulge in any amenities but the park is definitely a great place to stay. We would definitely come back again. We ordered food from Aspen Creek steak restaurant and had it delivered. It was very good and decent prices. We highly recommend the The Big Texan steak restaurant too. We ate there on our first leg of our journey to Colorado. We cant thank Joy enough for her willingness and support to help us with our crisis. We give The Big Texan RV RANCH 5 superior stars.

The office called ahead to see when we would be arriving and since we were going to arrive after hours, they told us there would be a box out front with our site info. We had no trouble finding the map or our site. The bathrooms and showers were clean and maintained. When I booked this site I didnt realize it was specifically an RV park, so I would say this place isnt very tent friendly. There is one lot for 3 tents with no water or electricity hookups (This was stated when I made the reservation I just didnt realize). The highway close by is a little noisy (at least in a tent). I enjoyed our stay!

Bare bones accommodations but EXCELLENT customer service for guiding to site, helping with problems and limo to steak house. Scenery was barren and pretty noisy due to freeway.

Nice folks. Limo pickup to the Big Texan. Fun! Wish it had grass between sites (some do) and some shade. Hot Texas sun. While we have stayed at RV parks with bigger sites, this is a great location to go explore Amarillo...without the hassle of parking at the steak house!

As soon as we stepped into the front office we were greeted with friendly smiles and warm welcome, given all the information we needed and more! The staff helped us with our plans for dinner at the Big Texan and all else we needed. One woman in particular went out of her way to make conversation with my whole family, on separate occasions, and was genuinely interested in our travel plans and wished us a blessed trip. She also ensured the restrooms were well kept and clean first thing in the a.m.Highly recommend a stay here, even if just a stop for a night!

Check in was efficient and quick. . However when I asked the lady with short white hair if she had a quiet location, her answer was ‘you get what you get’ . She might have realized I was not happy with her as she did find accommodations away from the busy road. I did not appreciate that response at all. The truth is it’s ok for 1 quick night. We had a trailer inches from our windows. And another pretty close next to us.It’s latterly a parking lot . Right in the middle of a busy and very noisy interstate. If you stay up front there is a highway with lots of rod noise.Nice to have a limo take you to the Steakhouse but the limos are a mess inside.Dinner and service was enjoyable along with atmosphere.This however would not be my choice to stay again. Expensive for what you get

Love this place. Reasonably level sites, friendly staff that escorts you to your spot. Quick delivery of meals from the Big Texan restaurant. Prices for the night are good. Make sure to make a reservation because sometimes they fill up for special events.

Staying here one night as I move from the Dallas area to Denver area. Everyone is incredibly welcoming. Check in was easy. The escort to the site very friendly. Even when I had a panic and needed a converter for my simple extension cord to fit the 30 amp site (I’m in a campervan). I’d definitely stay here again. And the steakhouse delivers to tour site. What’s not to like!

We stayed here 1 night on our way back home. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They are more than willing to help. The bathrooms/showers were clean. The indoor pool is clean and fun! The complimentary limousine service to and from the steak house was excellent. The hookups were easy and fully functional. The 3 enclosed dog park areas are great for letting your fur babies off leash to play with others or just be by themselves. This park prides themselves on customer service!

I loved this park. It was spacious, easy to get in and out of, had dog parks, store, pool, hot tub, Cadillacs that took people to the Big Tex Steak house. Awesome, would do it again.

AVOID!!! Do you love having loud events keep you up half the night, then heres your place! These ignorant folks opened a concert hall across from the camp ground, Im about as far from it as you can get and I can feel the bass through the walls. They have very strictly enforced policies here unless they are violating them themselves, the wifi password is to reinforce their speed limit but quiet hours dont even matter, the audacity of this company... Go anywhere else! Somewhere where they care about the customer and not just your money, the cracker barrel parking lot would be a far wiser choice for both quality in food and a quiet nights rest. I wish I could give zero stars, nothing worse than driving tired, thanks Big Tex!

Service was good. steak to spicy took home and removed the seasoning, then excellent for breakfast but everyone should give it a try just for fun

Interesting stay. The park was fairly empty and we were placed in a buddy site right next to a neighbor. Our slides were so close. The park appeared run down with long term residents scattered throughout. One of the work campers actually drove his golf cart through our site & neighbors so he didn’t have to drive around. Almost hit our picnic table. The bath house was hot with very low ceilings. It was moderately clean with a chair in the shower area to place a bag on. We were picked up in a worn down old limo with duct tape on the roof & escorted to the Texan ranch steak house for dinner. It was a Hoot! Check in was easy with very nice work camper helping. Most likely would not stay again. See pictures.

This was our last stop of a 14 day vacation, and the highlight of our trip. We had always heard about this place and were excited to finally see it. The RV campground was great - large sites, indoor heated pool, pet parks, showers and bathrooms. And a complimentary Lincoln limousine ride to the Big Texan restaurant. Fun place, great store, fun arcades, and the best steak dinner ever. Worth the long drive back to Amarillo to visit it again. A not-to-be-missed stop!

We had some issues to begin with. We scheduled for 10 days. They were awesome. Then I had to call to change things because our travel plans got so messed up. They couldnt find our 10 day reservation (was never put in computer. So I scheduled for one night. Guess that wasnt put into the computer either Because someone called me the day we were supposed to get there talking about our 10 day reservation so then when we got there we had to fix everything for the one night. All in all it was an OK stay she put the coffee away before 9 oclock and so we didnt get any coffee in the morning but theres a Starbucks close by. We took the limo to big Texas and the food was amazing

What a fun campground...nice friendly people at the check in counter....Rick is very nice...he took time out to give us a few pointers..we took the free limo to eat at the steak house..had a great time there....our limo driver back was the best!! Had a great time here...we will definitely be back when in the area!! Highly recommend!!

Very friendly and welcoming staff that got us checked in and escorted to our site which was a long pull-thru with ample space for all slides and a picnic table. Right off of I-40 and almost next door to the famous Big Texan Steak House, where you can get big steaks, and many other items to eat, or theyll deliver your dinner to your RV! Gotta love the convenience of the park and eatery!

Route 66 Icon. Great food and fun. Two guys actually won the 72oz steak challenge while we were there!

After staying at this rv park for 2 months, overall I’m not impressed. The grass was high when we got here. It got up to my knees around my camper. It never got cut the entire time until today. Two months later. The lawn guy took a shortcut and drove completely over my outdoor rug with the blades engaged and chopped it up. The people up front said “it is what it is”. Also, they constantly have power and water outages. We can’t go to the store and buy groceries without worrying about a power outage and my dog getting overheated and dying.

We stayed here on an overnight travel stop. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Called us on our way to give us after hours check in instructions, just in case. Stayed the following weekend also, on our way back home. We got free delivery from the Big Texan Steakhouse, which arrived hot and delicious! This will definitely be our overnight travel stop.

A really nice campground with great amenities including a heated indoor pool. Well maintained with large, level sites, and a free limo ride to dinner at the steak joint if youre so inclined. Good cellular signals and decent (not great) WiFi round out the package.

Perfect one-night stop everytime! Great staff, convenient, always clean and well maintained. Had Big Texan Steakhouse deliver dinner - which is always delicious! We appreciate the multiple dog parks so our dogs can blow off some steam after a long days drive.

Save yourselves do not stay here.. very poorly maintained, roads are a mess, if youre prepared to jump curbs and go through a pothole the size of there 72oz.stake by all means ruin your RV. No shade but by golly there are weeds everywhere.

Efficient booking & check in, and was escorted to our site. Sites are VERY close together, with minimal shade. The patch of grass at each site is appreciated.

What a fantastic place! So friendly, and the service was top notch. We were even offered a Limo ride to the Big Texas steak house, or delivery to our R.V. This is an excellent place to stay.

We say on the balcony level with a fantastic view of the main floor. Lots to see. Initially the service was a little spotty with no napkins or utensils provided when our bread was served. But then the waitress, Aliscia, caught up and she was fantastic! The food was delicious. Steaks cooked perfectly and I highly recommend the cheesy potatoes. YUM! If we are ever in the area again we will go back.

Definitely a place to visit when in the area. Its like a theme park inside. Fun atmosphere. If youre an RV traveler and stay at the Big Texan RV park, you can even get a free limo ride, there and back, to the restaurant!

Staying tonight, 6/26. RV spot is fine, but selected this RV park for free ride to Big Texan Steakhouse. Scheduled for 6, picked up at 635. Got to steakhouse at 6:50. Folks waiting on ride back had gotten there before 5 and had not been seated. Staff said wait over 2 hours. RV park owned and operated by steakhouse. RV staff should have informed us before scheduling or taking limo ride which of course requires a tip both ways. Left steakhouse without eating and had dinner in camper. Will do Palo Duro Canyon next time thru. Wont do this one again. Good staff, bad organization.

RV Park is great. We had a reservation for Sat. and got in 2 days early and they were able to fit us in even though they were full up. Pool is great and the receptionists are very helpful.

Very nice facility and grounds with clean bathrooms, indoor pool, guide to site, limo ride to nearby restaurant, nearby attractions, playground, poor wifi, and water, sewer, power, and cable hookups.

Close to everything, reasonable rates with all the amenities AND live music at the ranch in weekends.

Nice Park 4.5. Clean showers. Nice amenities. Only negative was traffic sounds, using a sound machine helped.

We only went there for one night so didnt use the facilities but saw the pool. The pull thru sites are quite big and can definitely accommodate big rigs. It was very close to Hwy 40 so it was noisy.

We stayed in the Big Texan RV park. Online reservation super easy. Check-in fast. Site attendant escorted us to our site and answered all questions. Very friendly. Have 3 grassy, fenced dog play areas, determined by dogs size.Ordered free delivery steak dinners from Big Texan Steak House. It arrived in 30 minutes, hot and delicious. Worth every penny. Highly recommend both the rv park and steak house.

Nothing fancy, gravel sites. Quite. Lot of permanent tenants. Big Texan restaurant is typical tourist stop.

Very large and extremely organized RV park. About 1/4 of sites are full time residents. The rest of the sites fill up each night and empty the next morning. The sites are huge and perfect for big rigs. All sites are full hookups. After check in they escort you to your site so its always easy to find. Theres a indoor heated swimming pool and jacuzzi. You can even schedule a limo to take you to the famous steak house. Office people are super friendly and helpful. Reason for 4 and not 5 stars is lack of shade. We were there in July and it was 115 degrees. Could have used a tree. Would definitely stay there again.

What appreciated from RV Ranch is that they called early on the afternoon of my arrival to see if we would arrive before closing. They wanted to ensure that I would know there procedures for arriving after closing. Fortunately we got there prior to closing hours.

We had a great experience with an overnight stay at the park. The people that work here are all great with customer service and were efficient with the check in.

Loved everything about this place except when being led to our spot the gentleman didn’t listen to what we were telling him, felt like he was “get em and get em out” And the big rig sites are little tight.. Other than that great place to stay. Restaurant was deli and free meal delivery, kinda spendy but the food was great. Would recommend this place

We arrived late because of mechanical problems with our fifth wheel. They were already closed and were full. We did not have reservations. It was after 7:00 pm and almost dark. Rick and Don was finishing up their day outside. We explain our problem and they jump into action. They found a spot and creatively “made it work for us”. The two ladies in the office were almost done closing up. They stop their work and with a friendly smile got us check in quickly. They turned a difficult night into a very positive one.All was great with our site but the we really appreciate the people extra effort and friendly attitude.

Really nice place to stay a night. Everyone here is nice and always willing to help. Has everything you need and at a reasonable price. Just off of highway 40. The only downfall is you can hear everything on highway 40. Well be back as it is a good and safe place to rest when we travel west.

Campground is great! Well maintained, large pull through and indoor heated pool n spa. Staff are very nice n accommodating and is owned by Big Texan Ranch steakhouse. They provide a Free limo ride to restaurant n back. Awesome experience n will be one of our favorite places to stay.

Great place, easy in with big rigs. Staff super nice and helpful. We stayed here on way to Colorado from Weatherford, Tx, and on way back. Be sure to reserve as they fill up. Also was nice to have 3 seperate dog park areas to seperate dogs.

This was one of the Best stays we have gone to all year! The Staff was so helpful with me having to bathe my disabled husband. They dont have a family shower/bathroom so, they closed the mens shower for us. I know that we will definitely stay here again when in town!

Great location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice amenities and the limo ride to the restaurant is a great service. We had a mostly level pull through gravel site. My one critic would be the sites are close together. The sewer hook up for the site next to us was right next to our picnic table.

Very clean and quiet. The pool is relaxing and kids have a playground to burn off that extra energy. They have a fenced in dog area too. Easy to haul a trailer in and out. The majority of sites are pull through. I will definitely stay here again.

Awesome RV park! The staff was great, very nice and helpful. They have 3 dog parks plus a big grassy area to walk the dogs. And more... I would definitely come back here.

Level, easy parking. Great rates. Super friendly, informative staff! Only suggestions would be to have a section for pet owners so non pet owners don’t have to listen to barking dogs when owners leave them in their RV. And especially as close as some of the sites are in pull thru sites don’t know how you could do it but we seemed to have all the smokers parked on either or both sides of us the week were were here. :( couldn’t get away from it because of the wind...totally understand the park can’t be responsible.Hotels have non smoking floors and rooms. Perhaps it’s time for RV parks to be thinking in that direction. Especially large ones like this. Otherwise would be a great overnite stop.

Weve been here since March, and plan to be here for a while. Everyone here is so helpful and friendly. Its quiet and clean! It has laundry on site so I dont have to leave. Its also very dog friendly. Theres a pool, which my son loves. What more could you want? Weve been enjoying it here.
